Ahmed has put together a shopping list, and he's convinced his parents that everything on it is absolutely essential.

From a new Liverpool kit to an electric scooter, he's got some pretty expensive plans for the weekend.

    There's just one problem.

His wishlist adds up to $755. Before tax!

    And Ahmed doesn't have $755.

His solution? Papa can just use his credit card!

But when Mama helps Ahmed figure out how much everything actually costs, he realizes he might need to earn some money of his own.

With the help of his uncle, Ahmed lands his first job cleaning cars, hires his little brother as an assistant, and starts a business that becomes surprisingly busy!

But after weeks of hard work, something unexpected happens.

Ahmed finally has enough money to buy what he wants, but now he's not so sure he wants to spend it.

In our first adventure for Financial Literacy Month, Ahmed learns about earning money, understanding its value, and making thoughtful decisions about spending, saving, and giving.

It's a fun introduction to financial literacy for Muslim kids ages 7–12, with a little help from an Excel spreadsheet, a very demanding little brother, and some extremely sticky cup holders!

When Ahmed's teacher brings a mysterious trunk into the classroom for Islamic Heritage Month, nobody can figure out what these objects have in common.

Until Ahmed discovers an old document with two names: Ahmad Ali Ferran and Peter Baker.

Wait. How can one person have two completely different names?

Ahmed vs. The Bad News | Muslim Kids Podcast

    Bad news travels fast.

Someone gets in trouble at school. Two friends have an argument. Something embarrassing happens, and suddenly everyone knows about it.

    But Ahmed has a question:

Why does bad news get so much attention when good things are happening all around us?

After meeting award-winning journalist Muhammad Lila at a charity event, Ahmed becomes fascinated with the world of news reporting.

But when Muhammad challenges him to find ten pieces of good news in just 24 hours, Ahmed discovers something he never expected.

Maybe the most important stories aren't always the biggest ones.

In this episode, Ahmed learns why bad news captures our attention, how storytelling can change the way we see the world, and how even the smallest acts of kindness can inspire something much bigger.

    🎙️ Featuring Muhammad Lila

We're honoured to welcome Muhammad Lila, award-winning journalist, former CNN and ABC News correspondent, and founder of Goodable, into Ahmed's story for Islamic Heritage Month.
