Last updated October 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Podcast Trove ("Podcast Trove") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit or use the website located at www.podcasttrove.com (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.

1. Information collected

Information you provide. The Site does not offer accounts, registration, or forms, and does not ask you to provide personal information. If you contact Podcast Trove by email, the information in your message, such as your email address and name, is received and used to respond to you.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically by the servers and service providers that deliver it, including:

  • your Internet Protocol (IP) address;
  • your browser type, operating system, and device type;
  • the pages you request, and the website that referred you to the Site; and
  • the date and time of each request.

The Site does not use analytics services, advertising networks, or tracking technologies to collect information about your activity over time or across other websites.

2. How information is used

Information collected through the Site is used to:

  • operate, maintain, and deliver the Site;
  • diagnose technical problems and improve performance;
  • protect the security and integrity of the Site, including detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and excessive automated traffic;
  • respond to your messages and requests; and
  • comply with applicable laws and legal obligations.

Podcast Trove does not sell or rent your personal information, and does not share it with third parties for their marketing or advertising purposes.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site does not set its own cookies. Cloudflare, the Site's content delivery and security provider, may set strictly necessary cookies to distinguish legitimate visitors from malicious automated traffic. These cookies are not used for advertising or to track you across websites. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, although doing so may affect how the Site works.

4. Service providers and third parties

Podcast Trove relies on service providers to host and deliver the Site, including a hosting provider and Cloudflare. These providers process the information described in Section 1 on Podcast Trove's behalf, and only as needed to provide their services. Cloudflare's practices are described in its privacy policy.

Some podcast artwork displayed on the Site is loaded directly from Apple's servers, which receive the technical information your browser sends with any request. The Site also links to third-party websites and apps, such as podcasts' own websites and Apple Podcasts. Podcast Trove is not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties, and encourages you to review their privacy policies.

Information may also be disclosed if required by law, regulation, or legal process, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Podcast Trove, its visitors, or others.

5. Podcast information

The Site's directory is compiled from information that podcast publishers have made publicly available, such as show titles, descriptions, artwork, categories, and production networks, obtained from public podcast directories and feeds. If you publish a podcast and would like its listing corrected or removed, please contact hello@podcasttrove.com.

6. Data retention

Server and security logs are retained only for as long as needed for the purposes described in Section 2, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Email correspondence is retained for as long as needed to respond to you and keep a record of the request.

7. Security

Reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), are used to protect information processed through the Site. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

8. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and Podcast Trove does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Site, please get in touch so it can be deleted.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because the Site does not maintain accounts or user profiles, the personal information it holds about you is generally limited to temporary technical logs and any email correspondence. To make a request, please contact hello@podcasttrove.com.

10. International visitors

The Site is operated from the United States, and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Data protection laws in those countries may differ from those where you live. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be processed in these locations.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When it is, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after any change means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
