  1. The Anti-Zionism Scam, Cenk’s Ad & Impressions Roundup

    Show notes

Welcome back to Ami’s House. Lots to cover this week.

We start with Cenk Uygur’s ad making the rounds, a couple in a grocery store who can’t afford eggs and bananas because of Israel. I break down why this isn’t just bad economics, it’s the oldest trick in the book: swap out the word “Jew” for “Zionist” and you’ve got yourself a progressive permission structure to channel pure anti-Semitism. Anti-Zionism isn’t a political position — it’s a linguistic infrastructure.

Then we react to a Pod Save America clip arguing that Jews in Michigan have a “moral obligation” to vote for Abdul El-Sayed to protect themselves from the right. My take: that’s making the case against homicide by recommending suicide. The left-wing anti-Semitism is harder to fight precisely because it comes wrapped in the language of social justice. Mamdani will dip apples in honey at a synagogue. Fuentes won’t. One of those is more dangerous, not less.

Plus, impressions on request: Professor Yang, Obama word salad, Kamala word salad, Gavin Newsom doing Shaggy’s “It Wasn’t Me,” Tucker on horseback, Bernie Sanders on Israel, and Jordan Peterson on icebergs.

  2. Weekly Wrap Up: Haviv on The Breakfast Club, France, Abdul El-Sayed & More

    Show notes

Back at it, delayed episode this week because I was on the West Coast doing shows with Distant Cousins. Thanks for your patience. Weekly wrap up, keeping it casual.

Haviv Rettig Gur went on The Breakfast Club and our community immediately started piling on. Stop. Being in the hot seat on a mainstream platform is not easy. The fact that he was given the floor and was able to offer a real counter-perspective to an audience that never hears it, that’s a win. Credit where it’s due.

Then we get into the settler violence narrative and how manipulated the numbers actually are. 5,000 Arab attacks on Jews in Judea and Samaria last year alone, but when a Jew shoots back after being shot at, that’s what gets counted as settler violence. Don’t be fooled by the framing.

France is falling apart and Western Europe is blaming itself. Douglas Murray called this years ago in The Strange Death of Europe. Here we are.

Abdul El-Sayed is an evasion artist. The reason the questions keep coming up is because he won’t answer them. And Ilhan Omar doing the same thing when asked about her brother. Classic projection from both of them.

Plus impressions: Yosef Mizrahi, Sebastian Gorka, Tucker Carlson converting to Judaism, and I take your questions live and Abdul El-Sayed them in real time.

  3. Will Chamberlain On NatCon, Tucker Carlson, And The Civil War On The Right

    Show notes

Will Chamberlain is the VP of the Edmund Burke Foundation and host of the Counterweight Podcast. He came on fresh off the National Conservatism Conference in Jerusalem, and this was a conversation I’d been wanting to have for a while.

We started with the conference itself, who was actually in that room, what the speeches were designed to do, and how the clips that made it online stripped out all the context. The audience was almost entirely Israeli right-wing. Americans flew in to engage with that audience directly. That matters for how you read everything that came out of it.

From there we got into the real unresolved fight on the right: what do you do with Tucker Carlson? Will and I are in complete agreement that Tucker has gone off the deep end. Where I pushed back is whether the people around him — including the vice president are being honest enough about that, or whether old loyalty is buying Tucker cover he no longer deserves. Will’s explanation for why Vance hasn’t fully repudiated him is the most charitable framing I’ve heard. I still don’t think it’s enough.

We also got into James Lindsay and what he’s actually doing with the “woke right” label. Will’s argument is that Lindsay is using anti-Semitism concerns as a rhetorical lever in an internal right-wing fight, lumping serious pro-Israel national conservatives in with Tucker and Candace to win a debate about what the right should look like. I pushed back, because I think there are actors that clearly belong in that category and the reluctance to name them is its own problem.

We ended where I think it matters most: why Jews keep sounding the alarm, why it keeps getting misread as shaming or victimhood politics, and why the patterns we’re pointing to aren’t hysteria, they’re history. The canary in the coal mine isn’t complaining. It’s trying to tell you something.

I came out of this optimistic. Tucker and Candace are self-immolating. The project of building a real, values-based coalition on the right that doesn’t run from its relationship with Israel is alive. This conversation is part of that.

  4. Three Years After October 7th: The World Still Gets It Wrong

    Show notes

Three years ago today, Hamas filmed themselves committing the worst massacre of Jewish people since the Holocaust and then celebrated it. I've spent this anniversary thinking about what happened next. Not just on October 7th, but on October 8th, the moment the diaspora found out who their friends actually were. The confusion, the moral cowardice, the people who couldn't bring themselves to say the word "evil."

In this episode I break down why I'd rather Israel win the war than the PR battle. I get into why the genocide accusation isn't just wrong, it's a deliberate lie, constructed the same way the BLM and COVID narratives were, designed to invert the story so that the victim becomes the aggressor. I talk about the British Mandate context, what 20+ Arab states versus one Jewish state actually means, how Hamas uses its own civilians as a military strategy, and why the death toll numbers have been manipulated from the start.

But more than any of that, I want to talk about anti-Semitism itself. People think it's a prejudice an ugly feeling some people have. I think it's a lie. And the people who oppose this war aren't anti-Semitic because of how they feel about Israel. They oppose the war because they already believed the lie. That's the order of operations, and it changes everything.

This episode is dedicated to the 1,200 people murdered on October 7th, 2023. Am Yisrael Chai

  5. Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg Exposed Tucker's Entire Playbook And I Cannot Stop Thinking About It

    Show notes

This week on Ami's House, Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg went on Tucker Carlson's show and quietly dismantled every single one of his talking points and I break down exactly how. Once you see Tucker's playbook (the fake confusion, the non-sequiturs, the constant interruptions to derail a point), you genuinely can't unsee it. The jig is up.

Then the Candace Owens lesbian story keeps developing, and I break down the tell. The way she responded to the allegations says more than any direct denial ever could. A truthful person doesn't turn a simple accusation into a grand Zionist narrative. It's a tell. A big one.

I also address the DMs I've been getting about becoming less nuanced — more of a shill on Jewish and Israel issues. My response: the genocide accusation is a lie. It's a libel being peddled the same way BLM and the COVID conspiracy were, and I'm done softening it. Watch the October 7th footage again. Remind yourself what actually happened.

We close out with live Q&A: I debut my Omit Seagal impression for the first time, explain why Douglas Murray's chin deserves its own segment, do Mehdi Hasan in full meltdown mode, and answer the question of whether Jews are Arab, short answer, it's complicated, and I break it down.

  6. Israeli Heroes on a Hijacked Plane & Candace Is a Lesbian?

    Show notes

Chag Sameach and welcome back to Ami's House, coming to you live during Sukkot, a week of miracles. And what a miracle it was: an Omani co-pilot tried to stab the pilot mid-flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv and take down the plane. Israelis on board stormed the cockpit, restrained the terrorist, and an Israeli plumber safely landed the plane. I used this as a "reality reset" a reminder, in all the internet noise, of who the good guys and bad guys actually are. I also broke down the Gaza drone footage propaganda playbook and why starting the story in the middle is how they manipulate you. Then, because this show has range: a Groyper drops an article claiming Candace Owens might just be a big ol' lesbian and I have thoughts. Lots of them. Plus impressions of Trump, Tucker, PBD, Norman Finkelstein, Jordan Peterson, and Abdul El-Sayed all reacting to the hijacking story. Don't miss it. 7. Brad Lander & Norman Finkelstein: The Self-Hating Jew Hall of Fame

    Show notes

This Yom Kippur, I couldn't let it slide. Brad Lander stood up in front of a crowd that includes Hamas supporters and asked Jews to atone for a genocide he manufactured and then had the audacity to call it a confession. I broke down exactly why that's not just wrong, it's an inversion of everything he claims to stand for. And then we got into Norman Finkelstein, who had to think about whether rape and mass murder on October 7th were wrong. I also define what I actually mean by "self-hating Jew" because the term gets thrown around loosely, but these two? They earned it. Stick around for listener Q&A, some off-the-cuff rap battles, and a few thoughts on why there's never been a real partner for peace.

  8. Shana Tova, Macklemore Got Dropped, Left vs. Right Antisemitism & Why You Need To Watch Fauda

    Show notes

Shana Tova, everybody. We're in the days between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur a good time to reset, reevaluate, and apparently talk about Macklemore getting dropped from the Ed Sheeran tour. Honestly? Best thing that could have happened for him. Nothing makes you a martyr faster than getting kicked off a tour. But to the people celebrating it as a truth-telling moment, you might want to ask yourself where your information is actually coming from before you're that certain about your moral stance. I got into the difference between left-wing and right-wing antisemitism this episode — right-wing is like male aggression, they'll tell you exactly what they think. Left-wing is the feminine version: I love you, I love the Jews, Shana Tova, here's a video with Jewish kids eating apples and honey while everything coming through the gates is trying to destroy you. That's Mamdani. And then Norman Finkelstein sat down with Tucker Carlson this week, which is the horseshoe theory completing itself in real time. I also finished the new season of Fauda, if you need a reminder of why Israel is fighting this war, just watch it. It's incredible and it'll hit close to home. We closed with some AI optimism and a Trump impression on data centers, because why not. Shana Tova. May we all be written in the book of life.

  9. Abdul El-Sayed Said A Lot Of Words, Brad Lander Got Booed & Milo Got Deported

    Show notes

Abdul El-Sayed made the rounds on The Breakfast Club and said absolutely nothing. No limiting principles, no prescriptive ideas, just platitudes, it just shouldn't be this way, we need to do better, working people, disrupt the system. I broke down why this empty left-wing MO never goes away and why the podcast circuit has become exactly what it replaced. Then there's Brad Lander, who showed up to a Palestinian rally and got called a ball sack. I can't make you love me, Brad and they never will. We got into JD Vance at the Republican Jewish Coalition dodging the Tucker question by condemning Fuentes and defending Rogan, which completely misses the point. Fuentes never had influence over you. Rogan is besides the point. Tucker is the issue. Norman Finkelstein was on saying Jews who support Israel deserve the antisemitism coming their way, I addressed why that starts from a false premise. And I did the Milo Yiannopoulos deportation impression, a Mamdani breakdown on his "death just kind of happened on 9/11" tweet, plus impressions of Tucker, Gavin Newsom, Ro Khanna, Andrew Wilson, Jordan Peterson, and a very honest attempt at Hassan Piker that I'll admit didn't totally land.

  10. JD Vance Said Tucker Is Just A Political Disagreement. Is He Wrong.

    Show notes

I jumped on for a bonus live stream because this couldn't wait. A clip of JD Vance at the RJC is circulating, he's asked about Tucker Carlson and his answer is that we should be able to remain friends with people we have political disagreements with. I have a problem with that framing. The objections to Tucker are not political disagreements. We're not arguing about tax rates or military policy. We're talking about lying, simping for Putin, calling Hamas a political organization, smearing Ben Shapiro as a dual-loyalty Jew who can't be trusted, Holocaust revisionism, confusing an entire generation about who the good guys are. Those are ethical disagreements. Behavioral disagreements. And framing them as simply political is either deeply confused or a deliberate dodge. I also get into what happens to a movement when it refuses to draw ideological borders, look at what happened to the left and the rise of the DSA. Conservatism means conserving something. You can't do that while giving cover to the people actively working to destroy it. This one had to come out. I'll be back for a full episode soon.

  11. Tucker Doesn't Believe In Math, Macklemore Defends Hamas & ChatGPT Put My Kids To Bed

    Show notes

Tucker Carlson doesn't know if algebra is real. I'm not joking, the same guy who constantly talks about the decline of Western civilization and how China is beating us in STEM isn't sure if math was invented by humans. Meanwhile, Macklemore performed at MetLife calling for a free Palestine. This is the Same Love guy, the one who built his career on LGBTQ anthems. Macklemore, the people you're covering for throw gay people off rooftops. We also broke down the settler violence narrative and why the Western media's outrage is perfectly calibrated to miss the point entirely, the UK sanctioning Israel this week while ignoring the jihadis operating inside their own borders, and I gave Foreign Minister Miliband an honesty translator he desperately needed. Keir Starmer apparently thinks the best way to discourage terrorism is to reward it. And we closed out with something I'm genuinely excited about, I figured out how to use ChatGPT for bedtime stories with my kids, and they loved it more than any screen time we've ever done. Jonathan Haidt, if you're watching, I think I cracked it.

  12. Mark Ruffalo Gave The World A License To Hate

    Show notes

I'm coming to you remotely today, it's that limbo week between camp and school. Two stories I had to get into.

First, the JD Vance Hamptons fundraiser. A lot of people in the Jewish community reacted as if Vance was raising money at the home of a Tucker Carlson investor. I get the alarm bells, but I want to get it right: it was an RNC fundraiser, Omid Malik's involvement with the Tucker Carlson network ended a while ago, and mischaracterizing it costs us credibility when it actually matters. That said, Tucker Carlson IS the core issue, and the refusal of anyone in his orbit to draw clear lines is a real problem.

Second, Mark Ruffalo used the Hollywood merger story to call the Ellisons genocide supporters because they back Israel. Here's what I think everyone misses: the hate comes second. The lie comes first. Before Hitler convinced anyone to harm Jews, he had to convince them Jews were evil. That's exactly what the genocide accusation against Israel does, it gives otherwise good people permission to hate. Mark Ruffalo may love Jews in his heart. It doesn't matter. He's handing out licenses.

  13. The Candace Debate Was Rigged From The Start

    Show notes

I watched the Andrew Wilson vs. Candace Owens debate on PBD and I have to be honest, the whole thing was set up to fail. Not because Andrew didn't do well, but because the debate accepted a false premise from the start. Candace wanted it to be about the Tyler Robinson case. That's not what anyone tuned in for. The real issue is her conduct: the lies, the conspiracies, the claims she makes on her show and then runs away from the moment someone presses her. Agreeing to litigate Tyler Robinson let her hide all of that.

I break down exactly why the conversation went off the rails, what Candace's verbal trickery looks like in real time, and why "I'm 100% certain that's how I feel" is not an argument. I also do my Tucker impression, he texted Erica Kirk, a lot, she never responded, his number got blocked, possibly by a demon. Plus my Andrew Wilson impression (still not slipping into Brett Weinstein), the Charlie Kirk time traveler conspiracy bit, and some thoughts on why Dave Smith is being way too diplomatic about all of this.

I talk about why Fauci trending again is bringing everything back and why I don't care he was wrong, I care he lied. I trace the line from COVID's institutional breakdown all the way to the anti-Semitism we're dealing with today, break down Tucker and Candace's moral inversion, and close out as Fauci: "I am the science."

  17. Back from Israel And Why I Didn't Shame Clavicular | Ami's House Live

    Show notes

Ami is back from two sold-out shows in Israel and weighs in on the Clavicular saga with a take nobody wants to hear: stop shaming him, and think about the audience.

Ami Kozak is back from two sold-out shows in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Israel is alive, thriving, and inspiring and also, while he was there, so was Clavicular. Now Jewish Twitter is having an emotional crisis about it.

Ami's take is pragmatic: he's not endorsing the behavior, the Miami Heil Hitler moment was awful, and the look-maxing lifestyle is not a model for young men. But Clavicular has a massive audience. If a 35-year-old version of him shows up at an anti-Semitism conference in 10 years and credits this trip as the start of his change of heart, the same people shaming him now would give him a standing ovation. So what approach actually moves the needle?

He also breaks down why pro-Israel is becoming the new edgy for Gen Z, the difference between an ideological neo-Nazi and a 20-year-old provocateur, and why Yossi Farrow's tefillin-on-everyone strategy is just the Chabad approach at scale. Plus impressions: Jordan Peterson on Trump and Iran, Tucker interviewing Satan, Alex Jones on Clavicular and the Mediterranean frogs, Jake Shields, Yossi Farrow wrapping tefillin on Norman Finkelstein, and Normal Finkelstein — the man who just has regular beliefs.

  18. Knicks, Mamdani, the Iran Deal & Tucker Calls Danny Danon | Ami's House Live

    Show notes

Ami goes live: the Knicks championship, Mamdani celebrating capitalism, the Trump-Bibi Iran deal panic, and impressions of Tucker, Mark Levin, Fuentes as a rabbi, and more.

Ami goes live to cover it all: the New York Knicks championship win as a self-confessed bandwagon fan, Mamdani and the socialist left cheering the most capitalist event in America, and the Trump-Bibi tension over the Iran deal that has the pro-Israel world losing its mind. Ami's take: take a breath, don't be reactive, play the long game.

He also breaks down why Candace and Tucker being popular right now is no threat to people with actual integrity, why the Daily Wire layoffs are not the sinking ship story people want them to be, and the fundamental divide between America's strategic interest and Israel's existential interest in the Iran conflict and why those timelines were always going to diverge.

Impressions include: Stephen A. Smith predicting he would be wrong, Jalen Brunson with incredible humility, Trump playing 7D chess, Mark Levin furious at the Iran deal, Tucker Carlson calling Danny Danon to be removed from Israel's antisemite list, and by popular demand, Nick Fuentes going through the entire process of becoming a rabbi at Yeshiva University.

  19. The Left Turned On the Jews: Why America's Soil STILL Rejects It | Batya Ungar-Sargon

    Show notes

Batya Ungar-Sargon joins Ami to expose how anti-Semitism switched sides, why the right cleaned house, and what 300 years of forgotten American Jewish history tells us about where Jews really stand.

Batya Ungar-Sargon is the author of The Jews and the Left. As she was finishing her manuscript about left-wing anti-Semitism, right-wing podcasters started becoming massive anti-Semites. She thought she'd be a laughing stock. Then the right actually cleaned house. Trump, Ben Shapiro, senators, cabinet members all said Tucker Carlson is not MAGA anymore. Tucker's new audience is Muslims. Candace Owens is bragging about it.

But her deeper argument is about America itself. From the first Jew on American soil in 1654 who sued Peter Stuyvesant for anti-Semitism and won, to the founding fathers who saw Jews as the living embodiment of God-given rights, this country has always been different. Three hundred years of American Jewish history have been erased. The soil itself rejects Jew hate.

They also cover the ADL's failure after October 7th, why anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism for the vast majority of Jews, the HIAS immigration conspiracy theory debunked, why Britain and Canada are lost but America is not, and Batya's prescription for the Jewish community: stop whining about anti-Semitism and keep Shabbos.

  20. I'm Glad Mamdani SKIPPED It | Israeli Day Parade, Megan Kelly & Judge Roy Altman Exposes the NYT

    Show notes

Mamdani skipped the Israeli Day Parade and Ami is relieved. He breaks down the thought experiment that ends every Israel debate, calls out Megan Kelly, and welcomes Judge Roy Altman.

Mamdani became the first NYC mayor in history to skip the Israeli Day Parade. Ami's take is the opposite of what you'd expect: he's glad. He decodes Mamdani's calculated anti-Zionist language, walks through the thought experiment that ends every Israel debate, and fires at Megan Kelly for comparing her Israel shift to discovering she had cancer while calling out Candace Owens' Russia trip for what it really was.

Then federal Judge Roy K. Altman joins the show. He's the author of the New York Times bestseller Israel on Trial and a former sexual violence prosecutor. Using his three-bucket courtroom evidence framework, he exposes the Nicholas Kristoff NYT hit piece on Israeli prison abuse — and explains why the NYT killed a Hamas rape report the day before it ran that piece. Israel scores three. The New York Times scores zero.
