  1. Tottenham 2-0 Crystal Palace: Are We Back? | AEOG Post-Match Reaction

    Show notes

Another week, another win. Jonny, Gary and Adam are back for a fresh post-match reaction show, sitting down live on Monday morning to talk through everything from Tottenham's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace. Three wins on the bounce now, and another clean sheet to go with it, so naturally the big question gets asked... are Spurs finally back? We will be talking through the performance, the result, the mood around the place, and we cannot ignore that cameo from academy lad Luca Williams-Barnett either. It is the kind of moment that gets the fanbase buzzing and we want to give it the time it deserves. No guests this time, just the three of us having an honest chat about where this Tottenham side is heading. No phone-in today either, just a proper discussion show the way we like it. Grab a brew, settle in, and join Jonny, Gary and Adam live from 10am UK time on Monday 2 November. As always, thanks for being part of this with us. 7 min
  12. Kinsky's Howler, Marmoush's Goal & Solanke's Anonymity

    Show notes

Marmoush's confusing positional display before his brilliant finish, and whether Solanke can be blamed when the whole

    team was disjointed.

  13. Tottenham 3-1 Coventry: Finally a League Win! Jake R, Jake S, Gary React

    Show notes

Jake R, Jake S and Gary are back for a post match reaction show after Spurs finally got off the mark in the league. Roberto De Zerbi's Tottenham Hotspur welcomed Coventry City to North London on Monday in pursuit of a first Premier League win this season, and collected a 3-1 victory over their newly-promoted visitors. James Maddison gave Spurs their first lead of the season with a brilliant first time finish from the edge of the box. Against his old club too, which made it even sweeter for him. The win moves Spurs out of the bottom three after James Maddison, Omar Marmoush, and Ben Davies scored against Frank Lampard's Cov. The lads are getting into everything. The relief in that stand, what it means for De Zerbi after a torrid week of headlines, whether Maddison coming back changes this season, and if Coventry actually caused us more problems than the scoreline suggests. No script, no filter, just three Spurs fans saying what we're all thinking. Get involved in the chat while we're live, and if you're catching this after the final whistle, settle in, we go through all ninety minutes plus the stuff that happened before kick off too. 14. Tottenham Hotspur Post Match: Bentancur Red, Solanke Rescue Analysed

    Show notes

What a game that was. We are back this morning to pick through the bones of a proper rollercoaster at Old Trafford. Tottenham Hotspur were the dominant side for 60 minutes, but Bryan Mbeumo turned it all upside and put Manchester United ahead, only for Dominic Solanke to equalise in stoppage time, following Rodrigo Bentancur's red card. We'll talk about what we saw in that opening hour when Spurs looked properly in control, why it fell apart, and what the sending off and the late drama actually tell us about where this Roberto De Zerbi side is heading this season. Honestly, we weren't going into this one buzzing with confidence, and this result will make some of us feel better and others feel worse, probably in equal measure. No guests this week, just the three of us, live on YouTube for about an hour, trying to work out if that point feels like one gained or two dropped. Come and join us in the chat. 16. Did Man City's 115 Charges Rob Spurs? Levy's Tenure Rewritten | Collectively COYS

    Episode 156

    Show notes

Man City have been found guilty of the vast majority of the 115 Premier League charges. The Athletic reports 114 of 115 upheld. Mauricio Pochettino says fans "lived through a period of deception." So where does that leave Tottenham?

Jake Robson (An Echo of Glory), Ricky Sacks (Last Word on Spurs) and Sim (We Are Tottenham TV) spend the whole show on it, and they don't agree. Did City and Chelsea cost Spurs trophies during the Poch years? Does the verdict change how we judge Daniel Levy's tenure? He planned the club around the financial rules everyone else was meant to follow. Is that a defence, or was it naive? Did he fail to adapt once it was obvious those rules weren't being enforced? And what should a fair punishment look like now, when you can't turn back time?

Is Levy's reputation due a rewrite? Tell us in the comments.

    Episode 155

    Show notes

We're live. Blain, Sanders and Nathan are in the studio for a bit of this and a bit of that.

First up is City, and we'll get as much out of that as we can. Then Andy Burnham's idea to let fans drink in the stands. Is it long overdue, or is it a terrible idea for a matchday that already costs a fortune? We'll get into it.

Around 10:30 we're joined by Dean Scoggins, tactics man for The Sun, to break down what's working, what isn't, and where Spurs go from here.

  18. De Zerbi SAFE • Kudus WITHDRAWS • Spurs REJECT New Richarlison BID • Van Hecke ANGER • Levy PAY-OFF!

    Episode 154

    Show notes

Five games in, two points, two goals, and Spurs are rooted to the bottom of the Premier League after spending over £300m in the summer. Three fan channels, three different views, one very uncomfortable question: how worried should we actually be?

    We're debating:

Has this start changed what you expect from the season? Top half, Europe, or just safety?
When does the De Zerbi project get judged? Is "give him time" still a fair position, or has that window already started closing?
Fatigue and condition: with 11 players at the World Cup and the full squad only together ten days before Everton, is this a genuine excuse or a convenient one?

Bring your own take in the comments. The best ones get read out next week.

  19. Tottenham 2-3 Aston Villa... Too Fragile, Too Late | An Echo of Glory LIVE

    Episode 153

    Show notes

Tottenham 2-3 Aston Villa... and honestly, where do we even start?

For 20 minutes we looked like a proper side. Sávio had chances, we were pressing, Villa looked rattled. Then Porro goes off injured, the chances go begging, and Villa nick one right before the break. From there, all hell breaks loose. Kudus finally comes on, we think we've got the equaliser, and it's chalked off because Robertson has wandered offside. What was he doing? Then the capitulation. Villa walk through us twice and by the time we finally score our first league goals of the season, it's far too late.

Winless in five. Booed off at home again. De Zerbi says we're too fragile and it's hard to argue.

Jonny, Ollie and Jake are live to go through all of it:

    - The lineup and why there's still no Kudus from the start
    - Sávio's chances and the first-half performance that deserved more
    - Porro's injury and what it means
    - Van de Ven's black eye
    - Robertson and the offside that changed the game
    - The half-time sub and the second-half collapse
    - Two goals too late and the end of the drought
    - Solanke going down far too easily

Plus the good news from around the club. The Women smashed Crystal Palace 7-0 with 42 shots, the most by any side in a WSL game since 2018. The U18s beat West Brom 7-1 and the U21s beat Man City 4-2. At least somebody at the club can finish.

And the first team get a week off... make of that what you will.

    SCARF WINNERS
