This week we had a recommendation from Major Montana of I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class and it was a great recommendation. We expected a cutesy anime, what we didn't expect was the dive into communication, heartache, and working on trauma. We recommend this anime highly, listen in to hear why!

This week we did a recommendation from friend of the stream and podcast Nari! This anime has a good mix of comedy, a little romance, and amazing art. The visuals in this anime, whether the scenes or even the art the characters themselves are creating, are very well done. Artsy has a pretty good comparison of art styles and this anime! Listen in to here what we thought about this anime and stay tuned for Part 2 next week!

This week we reviewed 2026's You & I Are Polar Opposites, and let us tell you, it was a welcome surprise. Why was it a surprise, well because like the title says the dubs were INSANE! If you have been here a long time, you know I, CJ, HATE dubs usually and while this one was enjoyable subbed, the dubs had Artsy and I cracking up constantly. Listen to hear more!

I know this is a pivot from the original Gachiakuta Part 1 but the topic of communication came up SO much on stream, in talks with friends and family this week taht i wanted to do a side story mainly focusing on anime demonstrating good/healthy communication, but also some examples of poor communication as well. Outside of the ones we mentioned, what comes to mind when you think of an anime with great communication? Also apologies, my voice may sound weird as allergies were destroying me!
