Anime Gourmands

Get the pumpkin spice out, it is officially fall season for the Gourmands! It is anitrendz, MAL descriptions, and tons of tangents, just a normal podcast episode for us!

Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games was a welcome surprise for the crew, but does that mean it finished just as strong? Kevin and Tanner weigh in.

**FIXED AUDIO** (Embarrassing)

OH BOY

Smoking Behind the Supermarket With You

We talk about it. Whoops

One of the saddest anime we have seen in a while and we have to talk about it in an entertaining way.

We reviewed Jaadugar and are just gushing over how amazing it was despite the fact that it breaks a lot of anime norms. If you want to check out a great show for this season, Jaadugar is an excellent choice.

Wow, False Memory was such a worthwhile experience, I cannot stress enough how worth the 5 bucks it costs to watch. Not to spoil the episode tooooooo much, but at least one of us rated this show 5/5 Stars...

We had a blast recording this one, despite the wheel basically doing everything I didn't want it to beforehand.

If you don't like discussions regarding a certain WWII German leader, you might be wanting to sit this one out, lol.

The Gourmands have caught up to this season of Tanya so far, and we needed to discuss it!

We caught up to this season's Mushoku and are ready to talk about our highlights... in this mostly slice of life focused season, lol. Oh well, we did the best we could, haha. Tanya the Evil is next.

One of the wildest Wild Card Rounds we've had, but it was certainly worth watching a season's worth of anime in one go. Long one today, but hopefully that means you guys will be entertained for longer, lol.

APOLOGIES for the up and down audio quality, we recorded each segment on different days and one of the days recordings got corrupted somehow. Luckily, I usually record a backup version, but I guess I hadn't updated the backup's recording quality in a while... so my bad, lol.

A lot of wanting this episode, hahaha. We go through the three episodes required to determine whether or not we will continue watching, plus we determine our wild card selections!

Three episodes up, three episodes down, and we're here to talk about it!

Another beautiful summer season, another beautiful season preview. We've got some good ones for ya. The Ghost in the Shell, I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day, Sparks of Tomorrow, Kaiju GIrl Caramelise, Smoking Behind the Supermarket With You, and Jaadugar. Hope you're looking forward to another season of anime reviews, stay tuned!

Gooooooood day! One of the final reviews from the Spring 2026, Ramparts of Ice is a very good, realistic depiction of high school drama, and the tension you feel from it. If you're a fan of the isolated episodes, please let me know!

Kevin and Angel have very tepid opinions regarding this season of Daemon's but how much does that affect their rating?

Kevin, Tanner, and Angel all talk about Witch Hat. However, we had to record separately from each other due to scheduling, so if this episode sounds like two different episodes pieced together.... that's cause they are hahaha. Still tons of fun, tons of great insight by the crew. Hope you like it.

*Trigger Warning: This show does have SA and similarly uncomfortable topics regarding Hinagiku's backstory and potentially the Agent of Autumn as well. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED*

Full review of Agents of the Four Seasons: Dance of Spring by Kevin and Tanner and... Cade for like 5 seconds. Hope you enjoy!

Tanner and Kevin go over their opinions on Nippon Sangoku and give their final ratings for the show!

Welcome to another episode featuring the love of my life! Claudia is here to give a very spirited set of advice for people who live more on the feminine side, seeing that Kevin, Angel, and Tanner have little to no experience on that side...

This episode was a blast to record, please let Cloud know how much she is appreciated!

Anime Expo is almost here! The first half of the episode is about us trying to share what we are most excited about from the schedule that has been released so far (as of this recording). The second half is where we get into the nitty gritty as to what tips and tricks we have up our sleeves in order to "survive" Anime Expo 2026.
