Welcome to another season of Badge County - Series 2023-24 is officially upon us and later today we’ll all be ripping into the first packs of the season. These Headliner packs are loaded with some of the most coveted Common Moments in Top Shot History and we’re gonna break down how all the levers can work together to create the best season of NBA Rookie Collectibles ever. Thanks for dropping into the County.

Today we’re excited to have basketball almanac Austin Kent join us on the podcast. Formally, he is the Content Lead at NBA Top Shot. Informally he is Lord of the Sickos and today, as we approach a new Series, we’re going through our favorite Moments and Features of Series 4, the immense task that is curating a historical set and what it was like spending an afternoon interviewing Larry Bird for his Anthology Set. Thanks for dropping into the County.

Welcome to a fresh baked episode of the Badge County podcast. All summer long we’ve been gearing up for news on another historical drop and now it’s officially time to Run. It. Back. Yesterday we got our first batch of info on the upcoming historical sets so today we’re just gonna hop right in and give you the fast facts plus our first reactions, and collecting strategies. Thanks for dropping in to the County

It is now official that this summer’s historical Anthology Set belongs to none other than Larry Bird and nearly every new platform feature that we’ve seen rolled out over the last 6 months is in play here, with multiple ways to collect not just these 5 new Rare and Legendary Bird Moments, but autographed jerseys and basketballs. This drop is the masterclass of Series 4 and might just be one of the best drops we’ve ever seen. Thanks for dropping in to the County

The Series 1 Trade Ticket drop was a slam dunk, and for now, it seems the collectors that ripped S1 want to collect S1. Today we’re gonna see if we had any pack luck, plus go through the new Badge County blog in which we imagine a world where the 77 Series 1 Base Set Bubble Moments are instead the most unique and coveted Non-Base Common Set on the platform. Thanks for dropping into the County

Hey there Badge County - In my opinion the off-season is the perfect time to recalibrate your Top Shot strategies. Take everything from the previous season, your wins, your losses, your new favorite players and fine tune your collection. In the meantime we’ve got fun drops like Extra Spice, Splash Packs, and the Series 1 Reserve to tide us over - Today we’re gonna go through how we’re navigating it all to land on our perfect collection Thanks for dropping in to the County

On today’s agenda we’re gonna chat about how I went full Sicko mode and wrote a blog where I ranked all 100 Rookie Premieres, we’re going through the details on today’s WNBA Rare and Common Drops, and then we’re talking our way through our Series 1 Leaderboard and Trade Ticket drop strategies Thanks for dropping in to the County!

Welcome to another fresh baked episode of the Badge County podcast. Tomorrow is the 1 year anniversary of the Locking Feature so today we’re going to be discussing not only the obvious - how we expect the Market to react to the 'Great Unlock' but also how locking has helped the platform in Series 4 and what we think can/might/will/should be tweaked about locking in Series 5.Thanks for dropping in to the County

Welcome to Badge County Mailbag Edition - it’s officially the NBA Offseason and this June Mailbag is here to help give him some guidelines on what to expect from Top Shot during the Summer - from drops to unreleased supply, Leaderboards, Anthologies, Historicals - so today we’re gonna dive in and make sure everybody has all the details and provide some of our takes as well - Thanks for dropping in to the County

Welcome to a special NBA Draft episode of Badge County - it’s a special day in the County. Last nights draft had it all. Generational talents - franchise players - a few guys who slipped further than we thought - a few picks that seemed like a little bit of a reach. Today we’re gonna go through some of our favorite selections as well as the new NBA Draft Leaderboard designed to get the Series 3 Rookie Premieres to full supply. Thanks for dropping in to the County

Welcome to another episode of Badge County - Now that the Denver Nuggets have won their first Larry O B, it’s time to queue up for the most scarce Legendary Finals set in Top Shot History. After that, we‘ve got the Common set of the people, Hustle & Show, back for another Series available for 15 Trade Tickets. Snuck into these packs are a handful of epic Anthology Moments that have us all feeling very maximum paximum. All that plus a little collecting update from us and some thoughts on Rookie Premieres. Thanks for dropping in to the County.

Today it’s gonna be all Burning Leaderboards and how they can be used going forward as a sort of a creative, multi faceted lever for not just old unreleased supply and pack drops but maybe even for some other exciting prizes. Also a little later we’re gonna talk about why between the two of us we traded in slash burned 500 Moments that didn’t even go towards leaderboards ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The big news this week - Rookie Revelation - the first ever Legendary drop with exclusively moments - is finally here after a few years of rumblings that it’s on the table. We’ve talked before about super scarce rookie collectibles being at the forefront of every sports collectors wishlist - so it’s big news that it’s finally here. The twist though might actually be more newsworthy - for the first time since the initial lock period began last summer - we can burn our locked moments.

Welcome to another episode of Badge County - Today is May 17 2023 and we are officially through to the Conference Finals of the NBA Playoffs. Today Jared and I chatting Tuesday nights Draft lottery and some fun ways that those results could play out in next months draft, and also a deep dive in the landscape of the Redemption/Playoff market now that Round 2 is complete and we’ve got a clearer picture of how the community is going to value these Moments going forward.
