BEHIND THE VELVET ROPE

This season of RHONY, which Andy Cohen claims is his absolute favorite show on Bravo right now, has won those who are watching over, but many are still not watching. Hailey Glassman has been labeled the “Sonja Morgan” of the rebooted reboot for her quirkiness, but beneath the surface many rumors and nastiness surrounding Ms. Glassman have come forth. Heather Gay is in her mean girl era. Lisa Barlow has been vindicated, kinda. Ramona Singer teaches us a thing or two about a thing or two. Last, but not least, the truth about Andy Cohen and his boyfriend Kevin is exposed.

Vicki Gunvalson has managed to anger fans worldwide this season on RHOC and RHUGT but do not count her out just yet. As this RHOC season heads into reunion time, rumors and nastiness arise that Vicki may just live to see another day. Sorry folks. Jeff Lewis and Gage Edwards’ sick little games reach a new level. The Golden Life is trying to make it marks with mixed reviews, poor ratings and one Singer Stinger who just does not seem to wanna play this time around.

Bravo’s Fan Fest Charleston has come and gone but the destruction it has caused is still be felt days later. Andy Cohen shaded Bethenny as Carole Radziwill laughed along. Bethenny decimated Andy in response. Next Gen Atl and NYC have begun filming with new casts and cast changes respectively. Rumors and nastiness arise about Ariana Biermann because of her brother KJ. Heather Gay tells a few huge lies. Craig Conover scores big. Last, but not least, Stacey Rusch hails Karen Huger, slams Ashley, shades Gizelle and prepares, tonight, for an all new episode of RHOP!

Tabatha starts at the beginning - finishing third and winning “Fan Fav” on the freshman season of Shear Genius. Tabatha chats Tabatha’s Salon Takeover, what it was like to be a Bravolebrity at that time with colleagues such as Rachel Zoe, Jeff Lewis, Patti Stanger, Jackie Warner, Vicki Gunvalson and a singer you may have heard of by the name of Paula Abdul (“Hey Paula” fans rejoice!). Tabatha weighs in on how Bravo has changed over the years, what Bravolebs and Hollywood A Listers have the best and worst hair and what she thinks of Celebs who ride or die by one signature hairstyle. More tea and drama spills forth from Bravo FanFest Charleston that we cannot keep up! Another week where are RHOP ladies deliver in an episode that has everyone mad at everyone else - Gizelle vs. Robyn, Robyn vs Ashley, Tia vs. Gizelle, Gizelle vs. Wendy had oh, so much more. Sai, Erin and Jessel play the game and know exactly what they are doing. Tamra gets slammed as the town drunk. Last, but not least, Andy Cohen sure has his favorites and he is done hiding it.

The world has turned on Vicki Gunvalson as Andy Cohen claims she is not that bad but are Andy’s kind words enough for the OG of the OC to keep her job? We think no and offer some advice, albeit unsolicited, to the founder of Coto Insurance. Shannon Beador may also be past her expiration date even though she would like to remind us of the twelve consecutive seasons she has had. Andy Cohen is worried about his boyfriend Kevin. Sutton Stracke hosts a dinner party of all dinner parties but that did not stop the RHOBH from causing drama during it. Fans revolt against Dorit and Tracy Tutor sure does make her mark. Rachel Zoe take note.

This season of Still Flipping Out is well underway so we figured it was a great time to check in with two of Jeff Lewis’ chumps, Patrik and Pol, for how the season is going, all that Gage has been saying on social media and what really went down during the filming of this season that the audience did not get to see. The Valley returns, ugh, for season four. Last, but not least, we ran into Marge in the Hamptons as this season of The Golden Life chugs along.

The second episode of The Golden Life has dropped and both on, and even more so off, camera, Dorinda has completely decimated Sonja in a match that is way above Ms. Morgan’s head. Next Gen LA is out. Next Gen Atlanta is in with many familiar names rumored to be joining. Both Next Gen NYC and In The City resume filming with seasons three and two, respectively, on their way. Andy Cohen gets booed, texts with West Wilson and talks thirst traps. Last, but sure not least, Jeff Lewis trashes Gina Kirschenheiter as “white trash” and whole lotta other things as Ms. K claps back.

“There’s no better feeling in the world than when someone gets you.” That is what Kim Kardashian said about Jonathan Van Meter who just finished a five year long deep dive book, “Citizen Kim: The Woman Who Created The Future”, into the one and only Kim K. Along with Kim’s help, Jonathan chatted with the rest of the fam, Kim’s 6 lifers and more. We talk Kourtney, Khloe, Kris, Kylie, Kendall, Kanye, Skims, SNL, Paris Hilton, the Kardashian men and All’s Fair. Citizen Kim does not treat Kim Kardashian as a punchline, a scandal, or a flat symbol. It treats Kim as one of the defining figures of this century and asks, seriously, how she became possible and what her astonishing rise says about the world we now live in. Jonathan, as we like to say, mentions it all!

Even though RHONY has made its mark in this revamp to the reboot of the revamp, many, including Michael Rapaport just dont seem to get it. There are a few inconsistencies, half truths and double standards though that seem to be affecting Erin, Sai, Jessel and our slew of newbies this season. Teddi Mellencamp makes major moves. West is apparently giving his phone numbers to other women all over NYC. Jeff Lewis reignites his feud with Bethenny. Scheana is jealous of Ariana Biermann. Last, but sure not least, Vicki makes Tamra cry.

Erin says Pavit is gay, Jenna Lyons enters the chat, Carole spills the tea and Martha Stewart is front and center more than anyone ever expected her to be. This seems like a good time to check in on this season of RHONY with a few thoughts on the good, the bad and the other. Meredith Marks enters the chat and gets lost in the comments as this season of RHOSLC struggles to find its footing. Denise Richards opens up about her house of horrors. Lindsay Hubbard understands the assignment and plays with Below Deck rumors. Margaret Josephs offers Milania Giudice support. Last, but not least, the Osefos suffer a major legal setback as they prepare for trial this January.
