Ahhh.. Fall is here.. and so is Marky Mark! We're back with a brand new Staff Picks episode talking about all things 'Friday the 13th Part 3' from 1982! For the record, there is a very entertaining cast commentary available for this film but lacked the informative nature we need for a standard episode so we chose to do a fun Staff Picks for this one!

We may be approaching the end of the hottest season of the year but we're still steaming things up here at Beyond the Blood with this week's Staff Picks: 'Body of Evidence' from 1993! Starring Madonna & Willem Dafoe, 'Body of Evidence' is a silly, sleazy murder mystery slash courtroom drama slash sexploitive fare into one woman's desire to use her body as a literal weapon for monetary gain. We wish more than anything there was an active commentary for us to dissect but have no fear, we still have a lot of fun here. Enjoy!

Beyond the Blood is back and this time we're going to Prague! On this episode, we dive into two audio commentary tracks for 1971's 'Short Night of Glass Dolls' directed by Aldo Lado. We sourced these tracks from the remarkable 4K release of the film released by Celluloid Dreams - one with co-founder Guido Henkel & the other with Aldo Lado himself. We're changing things up here at Beyond the Blood to celebrate an artists both of us admire greatly - Ghoulish Gary! Most physical media collectors would know him for his work with Arrow Video on their recent releases of 'Jason Goes to Hell', 'Jason X', and 'Friday the 13th' 2009 but his work expands much further into the world of Stephen King and even MAD Magazine! Join us for an awesome conversation about the process of creativity and how far the genre has inspired us to stay artistic.

We've officially gone off the deep end with this weeks Staff Picks episode..

'Night Killer' from 1990 is a true gem in the waning periods of Italian horror and Steve & Chris absolutely love it. We dive as deep as we can into this wonderful sleaze filled nonsensical mess of a film and pretty sure we lose our minds along the way. Have fun!
