Bills at No. 1 in Coach's Week 9 Power Rankings | Every Game, LeBron's Wine & KD — Afternoon Drive with the Coach Tuesday 11/3/26
Show notes
Coach opens Tuesday's Afternoon Drive with his Week 9 power rankings: the Steelers at No. 5 after a 27-6 win over Cleveland, the Bears at No. 4 after routing Seattle 34-17 on Monday night behind Jeffery Simmons' debut (PFT), the Jaguars at No. 3 after a 42-7 win over the Colts, the 49ers at No. 2 coming off their bye, and the Bills at No. 1 after a 36-10 win over Baltimore (Buffalo Bills).
Then every game on the Week 9 slate in two minutes or less (NFL.com schedule): Jaguars at Ravens on Thursday night with Lamar Jackson sidelined (CBS Sports), Joe Burrow and the Bengals after their 43-36 overtime win over Tennessee (AP), the Browns after scoring six, the Cowboys after blowing a late lead in an overtime loss to Arizona (ESPN), the Broncos at Carolina after beating the Chiefs (ESPN), Lions-Dolphins, Rams-Commanders, Giants at Eagles and Saquon Barkley's wish to stay in Philadelphia (FOX Sports), Jets at Chiefs, Texans at Chargers, Raiders at 49ers, Cardinals at Seahawks, Packers at Patriots, the Bears hosting Tampa Bay on Sunday night and Bills at Vikings on Monday night. Coach calls Josh Allen the leader of a club of quarterbacks still chasing a ring. Picks and leans are Coach's opinion; lines move.
The first NBA Beat: Luka Doncic's 42 against Miami puts him alongside Damian Lillard in the record book (NBA.com), LeBron James appears to take a sip of a fan's wine during the 76ers' win over the Bulls (ESPN), and Kevin Durant's exchange with a reporter after the Rockets beat the Celtics, where Coach takes KD's side (Bleacher Report). Plus Producer Man's face reveal, and Coach says the 76ers are the best team in the East.
Housekeeping: name the BTT community in the chat or on X by Friday for a $50 BTT merch gift card ("Turnbuckle Mafia" leads); BTT Studios is on Roku and Amazon Fire TV, with Google TV coming; Coach plans TikTok Live Q&A shows; a poll on moving Coach and Company to a nighttime show; Coach and Company is live Wednesday at 10 AM ET for Rant Wednesday; catch The 2 Count on demand.

Cena Classic Behind a Paywall? | Sami vs. Roman, Cruz Montana & Raw at Disney — The 2 Count Tuesday 11/3/26
Show notes
John Cena came out at Monday's Raw in Brooklyn to finally explain the John Cena Classic, six months after announcing it at Backlash. Cody Rhodes is the first entrant, the new title was unveiled, and the tournament lands on December 14, the day WWE runs two Raws: one in Perth and one at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World. JDFromNY calls it a walking advertisement, and both hosts take aim at fan voting going through Club WWE, a $99-a-year membership. Coach, who hosted the first Diva Search, has thoughts on how fan votes go.
Then Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns' face-to-face ahead of their champion vs. champion match at Crown Jewel, Cruz Montana as the newest member of The 946, and who rounds out The Bloodline for WarGames: Jacob Fatu or Zilla Fatu. After the break, NXT moves to Wednesday head-to-head with AEW's Blood & Guts, with CM Punk challenging Grayson Waller, and Coach tells the story of arguing with one of Tony Khan's PR people.
The guys break down WWE's Perth week and ask whether anything feels important anymore, whether Raw at Disney is ESPN's idea, and what Hollywood means for Roman, Cody, Drew McIntyre and the Street Fighter box office. The Kick Out: Crown Jewel is four days away, moved indoors and barely mentioned on Raw. Takes are the hosts' opinions.
Housekeeping: BTT Studios is live 24/7 on Roku and Amazon Fire; The 2 Count is live every Tuesday at 11:30 AM ET. Presented by BlueChew Gold (promo code 2COUNT). Follow JDFromNY @JDfromNY206.

How Good Are the Bears? | Simmons' Debut, Week 9 Lookahead & LeBron's Wine — Coach and Company Tuesday 11/3/26
Show notes
The Bears went into Seattle on Monday night and won 34-17, and Mikey P is still floating. Coach and Mikey break down the Monday night rout: Caleb Williams playing like a gunslinger, Ben Johnson's swagger and the debut of Jeffery Simmons, the defensive tackle Chicago landed from Tennessee for two first-round picks. On the other side, the defending champion Seahawks fall to 4-4, and both hosts argue Seattle isn't a playoff team right now. The show opens with News & Nuggets: Luka Dončić's scoring run, Draymond Green's ejection in the Warriors' comeback over the Suns, and the 7-1 Sixers.
Tuesday means Gridiron Time. Coach and Mikey P look ahead to Week 9: the Jaguars at a Ravens team down to its third quarterback after Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley went down, the Rams at the Commanders, the Packers at the Patriots, Buccaneers-Bears on Sunday night and Bills-Vikings on Monday night, where Coach says the pressure is on Josh Allen. In between, Coach tells the story of meeting Johnny Unitas on the field with his old Kansas City colleague Len Dawson, and Mikey P has one about Gary Sheffield. Picks and opinions are the hosts' own.
The final notes and nuggets: East Texas A&M's upset of Oklahoma and Porter Moser's apology to the fan base, ESPN's Marcus Spears watching his son make his Texas debut, and LeBron James crashing into a courtside fan and sipping his wine as the Sixers roll.
Housekeeping: The 2 Count with Coach and JDFromNY at 11:30 AM ET; Afternoon Drive with the Coach at 2 PM ET; BTT Studios is on Roku and Amazon Fire TV (search "BTT Studios"); the George Barrios sit-down is out now; a Producer Man reveal is coming. Punk, Cena & Cody on NXT vs. AEW | Russo's Double-Dog Dare — The Coach and Bro Monday 11/2/26
Show notes
Coach and Vince Russo watched NXT Halloween Havoc so you don't have to, and Russo has a verdict: NXT is Double-A ball, no matter how big the production looks. That turns into Russo's double-dog dare to WWE: keep Raw a pure wrestling show, turn SmackDown into characters, storylines and five-minute matches for six months, and see which one draws casual fans. Plus why "The Demon" Finn Bálor's return against GUNTHER took so long, and why fans who can't buy face paint and magic would have to kill Batman too.
Then the big one: CM Punk challenges Grayson Waller for the NXT Championship this Wednesday, with John Cena and Cody Rhodes also on the show opposite AEW. Russo asks why you'd send your top guy to Double-A, and Coach says just admit you're competing. Super chats cover merch-stand politics, Jake Roberts re-signing with WWE, Tony Khan's messaging, the Shawn Michaels creative reports and GUNTHER the "career killer." Coach also shares the No. 1 interview lesson he learned from a voice coach at ESPN.
They close on Crown Jewel in Riyadh this Saturday and the tough spot Roman Reigns is in.
Housekeeping: BTT Studios is now on Roku and Amazon Fire TV (search "BTT Studios"). Monday Night Grind tonight at 7 PM ET, The 2 Count Tuesday at 11:30 AM ET, Coach and Bro back Wednesday at 2 PM ET. This episode is sponsored by BlueChew: use promo code COACH at BlueChew.com.

Watson's Ambulance Comeback | Simmons to the Bears & Three Things — Coach and Company Friday 10/30/26
Show notes
Coach opens Friday's show by dedicating it to legendary football coach June Jones and Star Trek icon Patrick Stewart, who both passed away this week. Then Mikey P joins for an NBA Cup trivia warm-up before the Packers' 27-19 Thursday Night Football win over Carolina. Neither host enjoyed the game, but both loved Christian Watson leaving in an ambulance and coming back with a broken rib to catch two more passes. Mikey says Bryce Young simply played without confidence behind six sacks, and the NFC South stays a mess.
Next: the Bears' trade for Jeffery Simmons. Mikey calls him a three-time All-Pro every Sunday watcher knows; Coach says casual fans don't, and Producer Man splits the difference — plus Simmons' 2024 "nail polish" line about his new quarterback, Caleb Williams.
Coach debuts Three Things, three questions into the weekend. Will the unbeaten Vikings survive Detroit? (Both say Lions.) Will Denver lead the AFC West after hosting the Chiefs? (Mikey: Chiefs; Coach: Broncos.) And who holds the fourth playoff seed before next week's Miami at Notre Dame showdown? The crew closes with best bets across college and the NFL, and Mikey's pick for WNBA Finals Game 7 on Saturday night. Picks are opinion only, and lines move.
Housekeeping: BTT Studios is now on Roku and Amazon Fire TV — search "BTT Studios" in the app store and watch live or on demand anywhere in the world. No Coach and Bro today; it's back Monday at 2 PM ET. Saturday morning show, Sunday VOD, then Monday's Coach and Company, Coach and Bro and Monday Night Grind (7 PM ET).

TNF Preview: Panthers at Packers | WNBA Finals Game 6 & Jake Paul's Christmas Eve Return — Coach and Company Thursday 10/29/26
Show notes
It's Thursday Night Football week, and Coach and Mikey P go deep on Carolina at Green Bay (8:15 PM ET, Prime Video). The 3-3 Panthers still lead the NFC South after a 43-13 loss to Tampa Bay, and Mikey points out they were in the same spot last year, when they came off a blowout and won 16-13 at Lambeau. The 4-3 Packers are last in a division where every team is over .500, with six primetime games, a trip to New England and the unbeaten Vikings next. Coach calls Green Bay the most boring team in the league to watch and wants Matt LaFleur to speed it up for Jordan Love; Mikey, a Bears fan, says Love can throw it and should be turned loose. Raphael Esparza's Inside Info covers the $1 billion-plus traded on election prediction markets and his three Thursday plays. Picks are opinion; lines move. 21+. Gambling problem? Call 1-800-GAMBLER.
The WNBA Finals Game 6 tips at 12:30 PM ET on a Thursday in Atlanta, with get-in tickets around $32. Coach calls it as embarrassing a story as he's heard, especially after WWE's Nick Khan agreed to push SmackDown back an hour for a Friday-night game, and Mikey says it's a rough last impression for retiring commissioner Cathy Engelbert. Then Jake Paul's Christmas Eve fight in Dubai still has no opponent: Mikey likes Darren Till (or another Tommy Fury fight), and Coach wants a name Grandma Sue knows. They close with Bill Raftery toning down "Onions!" for Rome and Villanova-Notre Dame on Sunday.
Housekeeping: BTT Studios is now on Roku and Amazon Fire TV (search "BTT Studios"), including a 24/7 channel. News nuggets: the Brewers won their first World Series and William Contreras was named MVP. Fight Time with Mikey P drops today, and a VOD on Panthers-Packers drops at 7 PM ET.

Show notes
Breaking news hit during the show: Riyadh Season announced that WWE Crown Jewel is moving to a new venue, with refunds for ticket holders (reports say it stays in Riyadh on Nov. 7). Coach and Vince Russo react, Coach shares what he's hearing about talent who didn't want to make the trip, and Russo has a confession: he's a total mark for coffee names.
From Super Chats: could Kurt Angle have beaten Brock Lesnar in a shoot? Russo on finally watching Kurt's gold-medal run, and Coach on watching Shane McMahon's TitanTron dive and the King of the Ring 2001 glass spot from gorilla. Then dirt sheets that never pick up the phone, Bruce Prichard's health, and why creative should be held accountable. Colts Sell-Off & Rant Wednesday | Montez Sweat, Rays, CFB Week 9 — Coach and Company Wednesday 10/28/26
Show notes
Mikey P sits in for Coach and is joined by Brandon Combs, executive producer of BetMGM Tonight and co-host of BTT Tailgate Saturday. The NFL trade frenzy is on: the Colts sent eight-time Pro Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seahawks and DeForest Buckner back to the 49ers, the team that drafted him. Brandon likes the Buckner deal more for a banged-up Niners defense, the guys debate what the Bears should chase before the deadline, and whether the Colts move a third face of the franchise in Jonathan Taylor (Brandon wouldn't spend a first-rounder on any running back).
In the NBA, Anthony Edwards is set for arthroscopic knee surgery and could miss up to two months, the latest star hurt after Jalen Williams and Paolo Banchero; Brandon says the regular season doesn't matter anyway. Then the WNBA Finals Game 6 moved to 12:30 PM ET Thursday and the Dream's open letter. On F-Day Rant Wednesday, Brandon says the Rays need to leave Tampa Bay after the Brewers' fans took over the World Series, and Mikey takes aim at Montez Sweat after his two-game suspension.
BTT Tailgate Saturday previews Week 9: Arizona at Texas Tech, No. 20 Northwestern at Oregon, Florida vs. Georgia in Atlanta, Ohio State at USC and No. 1 Miami at North Carolina. They close with "What are we doing?" on Maryland's free-tuition raffle for students who stay until the fourth quarter. Picks and takes are the hosts' opinions; lines move. 21+. Gambling problem? Crown Jewel Is Still On | Sami Zayn, Blood & Guts & Cena's Return — The 2 Count Tuesday 10/27/26
Show notes
BTT Studios is now on Roku and Amazon Fire, and The 2 Count opens with the story nobody can stop talking about: WWE Crown Jewel is still set for November 7 in Riyadh. TKO's Ari Emanuel says everything is still set and being monitored daily, the U.S. has ordered non-emergency government staff out of Saudi Arabia, and Fightful Select reports talent and staff are unhappy about going. Coach says his own sources gave him names, JD says WWE's TV shows nobody cares about the show, and Ariel Helwani's report that Power Slap's production crew will fly into Bahrain and bus into Riyadh has both hosts asking why WWE's stars should feel safe.
Then Raw: no Roman Reigns in Fresno apart from a pre-taped Solo Sikoa segment, no 946 until 45 minutes in, and Sami Zayn carrying the champion vs. champion build on his own. JD gives Sami his flowers, Coach pushes back on Sami's comments to Chris Van Vliet about the WrestleMania main event dream, and the guys debate two-night WrestleManias. In AEW, JD calls Blood & Guts unnecessary, and Tony Khan's "kind of like the A-Team" explanation for the Hurt Syndicate gets taken apart.
The women's divisions: Stephanie Vaquer wasn't cleared, so Becky Lynch got Liv Morgan in the Raw main event, and on SmackDown B-Fab and Michin took the tag titles. Both hosts want Blake Monroe at the top. Then the young stars (Bron Breakker, Penta, Je'Von Evans, Oba Femi) and Coach's case for a traditional Survivor Series match, and the Kick Out: John Cena's November 2 Raw return in Brooklyn and the John Cena Classic. Takes are the hosts' opinions.

Are the Cowboys Back? | Week 8 Lookahead & the WNBA Finals at 12:30 — Coach and Company Tuesday 10/27/26
Show notes
Coach opens with big news for BTT Studios: the network is now on Roku and Amazon Fire TV, with one more platform on the way. Supi joins to call this the World Series with the least juice ever after Milwaukee's 10-1 Game 3 win for a 3-0 lead, then the pair break down Dallas' 38-21 Monday night win in Philadelphia: Javonte Williams' career-high 155 yards, Dak Prescott wanting to establish the run, what it means for CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, Nick Sirianni's emotional night, an Eagles team at 2-5 without DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks, and a Cowboys schedule with Arizona, Indianapolis and three straight home games ahead of a Week 14 bye.
Raphael Esparza's Inside Info looks at Minnesota at Indiana, San Diego State-Washington State and Cardinals-Cowboys. Then it's Gridiron Time for Week 8: Ravens at Bills, and whether this is Josh Allen's Super Bowl-or-bust year; the unbeaten Vikings at Detroit, where Supi says Minnesota is overvalued and Coach sees a more measured Dan Campbell; Browns at Steelers for first place in the AFC North (Coach on riding the hot hand); Chiefs at Broncos and Andy Reid's play-calling against Seattle; and Bears at Seahawks on Monday night. Picks and numbers are the hosts' opinions, and lines move. 21+. Gambling problem? Call 1-800-GAMBLER.
The show closes with a new "What Are We Doing?": Game 6 of the WNBA Finals moved to 12:30 PM ET on Thursday at State Farm Arena because the Hawks have the building that night. Supi blames the NBA, Coach says nobody wants to talk about the WNBA right now, and the crew asks whether it's embarrassing for the league. Takes are the hosts' opinions.
Housekeeping: Coach and Company is live every weekday at 10 AM ET; The 2 Count with Coach and JDFromNY is live at 11:30 AM ET. No Afternoon Drive today; its content moves to Thursday. Will WWE Really Go to Saudi? | Brooke Hogan, Ric Flair & "Not Ready" — The Coach and Bro Monday 10/26/26
Show notes
Coach and Russo open with the Crown Jewel 2026 question: with heightened U.S. security warnings in the region, Russo still can't believe WWE will go through with the Nov. 7 Riyadh show — and Coach points out that not one wrestler on the podcast circuit has been asked about it. From there: the Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton Last Man Standing match being made in the ring, Penta's end-of-show pop with no build, whether Penta can ever headline in the U.S., and why there should only be one world champion while Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns both carry "the" title.
Then Russo goes off on the "not ready" excuse Bruce Prichard gave on WWE Unreal — "ready for what?" — and Coach pitches Zilla Fatu skipping the line as the Bloodline's fifth man for WarGames. Coach launches "What Are We Doing?" with Aaron Glenn's timeouts and "None of This Is in That" for AI-written headlines, then tells the story of Sylvester Stallone arriving with 60 seconds to spare — and no script — to induct Hulk Hogan into the 2005 Hall of Fame.
The back half gets personal: Brooke Hogan's post about the people around her late father, and Ric Flair's fall and blood-clot news with Charlotte left answering for him. Plus Russo's photo with Vince McMahon and the Undertaker, the "Stevie Night Heat" story, Triple H at Metallica in Las Vegas, NXT going head-to-head with Dynamite on Nov. 4, and the day Russo hired Robbie E over polka-dot trunks.
Housekeeping: Coach and Russo's first book-intro meet and greet is Tuesday at 8 PM ET (link in the live chat). Russo's Brand launches a new lineup Nov. 1 at russosbrand.com. Coach and Bro is live Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 2 PM ET.

Seattle Shuts Down KC & Vikings Stay Perfect | Sirianni's Last Stand? — Coach and Company Monday 10/26/26
Show notes
Coach opens a Monday in the BTT universe with three nuggets: Luka Dončić's season-high 52 in the Lakers' win at Utah, the serious leg injury to the Thunder's Jalen Williams, and the Vikings' 16-10 win over the Colts that leaves Minnesota as the NFL's only unbeaten team. Brandon Combs of BetMGM Tonight joins (Mikey P is producing after losing his voice to Ole Miss), and the pair break down Seattle's 20-3 Sunday night win over the Chiefs: Patrick Mahomes held to 165 yards, Kenneth Walker III shut down by his old team, Andy Reid's clock management and the Chiefs' brutal road ahead. Then the 49ers' loss in Atlanta, whether anyone will ever go 17-0 again, and the weekend's biggest surprise: the Browns' comeback, the Bucs' 43 points against Carolina or the Bengals' 35-point second half against Baltimore.
In the Weekend Rewind, Texas holds off Ole Miss 34-27, Brandon still isn't sold on Arch Manning and predicts a transfer, and Coach walks through an SEC led by Kentucky and Georgia with eight teams at two conference losses, South Carolina's walk-off win over Tennessee, the remaining schedules for Kentucky, Georgia and Lane Kiffin's LSU (Brandon says LSU drops two more), and a Nov. 7 slate stacked with Alabama-LSU, Georgia-Ole Miss and Kentucky-Tennessee.
Back to the NBA: Luka's 52 and whether it lasts, Steve Kerr's response to rookie Yaxel Lendeborg, the Thunder losing Jalen Williams, and the defending-champion Knicks starting 0-3. The show closes on tonight's Cowboys-Eagles Monday Night Football game: does Nick Sirianni survive a loss, why the Eagles didn't add a veteran quarterback for Tanner McKee's spot, and the NFL-NFLPA joint review of Jalen Hurts' blood-clot diagnosis. Takes are the hosts' opinions.
Housekeeping: BTT Studios' six shows are all at one link in Coach's bio. The Coach and Bro with Vince Russo is live at 2 PM ET; the Monday Night Grind (with the Legends Lounge) is live at 7 PM ET; Brandon's BetMGM Tonight previews World Series Game 3 tonight. A VOD segment drops at 4 PM ET. Two new segments launch: "What Are We Doing?" and "None of This" (send Coach posts whose video has nothing to do with the caption, on X or Instagram).

Will Netflix Opt Out of WWE? | Saudi, Crown Jewel & Story Time — The Coach and Bro Friday 10/23/26
Show notes
Coach opens Story Time Friday by playing back Vince Russo's adults-only "pop" explanation from Wednesday, then Russo asks whether hated broadcasters are as valuable as beloved ones, from Howard Cosell to Stephen A. Smith. That leads to Russo's question of the week: why is Howard Stern's weekly show on HBO Max, and Coach's answer about the executive who signs off on a big name, Dave Meltzer doing AEW-on-HBO-Max math, and why ten-year deals kill motivation.
Topic 1 is Netflix: about 1,000 layoffs, a stock down more than 40% in a year, the exit of content chief Bela Bajaria (whose tenure brought in the WWE deal) and Coach's comparison of Raw to Stranger Things. Russo walks through the soft Q4 guidance and the ad-revenue cut and says he expects Netflix to use the opt-out at year five of the Raw deal. Coach has WWE's back: live, exclusive programming is the new money, and must-watch TV and binge-watching prove cliffhangers still work.
Then Saudi Arabia: TKO's Ari Emanuel told Fox News that Crown Jewel on Nov 7 in Riyadh is still set while other events, including the Future Investment Initiative, have been postponed. Russo rips a podcast thumbnail that pinned the decision on Triple H, Coach explains clippers paid per 1,000 views, and both hosts talk about crew safety, a volunteer-bonus hypothetical and what leaders owe their people. Super Chats cover Toni Storm's cassette tapes, titles as props, William Shatner's "Get a life" sketch, the WrestleMania after-party room, Tulsa King's cliffhanger, autograph-show personal space, Orlando Jordan in TNA and Zilla Fatu. Coach closes on Ric Flair's health, Jalen Hurts' blood clot and Christina Applegate's misdiagnosis, and Russo tells retiring wrestlers to try enjoying life.
Housekeeping: Friday Coach and Bro-lette Wheel winner: PTS Demon. New contest: name the BTT community for a $50 merch gift card. Russo's Brand launches new shows Nov 1, including one with Coach (russosbrand.com). Coach and Bro is back Monday at 2 PM ET.

Bears Top Pats & the Sixers Erase 29 | Football Weekend Best Bets — Coach and Company Friday 10/23/26
Show notes
Coach opens with the news of the day: the Sixers' historic comeback, Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk revealing his Parkinson's diagnosis (he's in his first season as Southern's head coach), and a Friday college football slate without a ranked team. Then Mikey P and Supi join to break down the Bears' 30-24 win over the Patriots: why Luther Burden III disappeared after a 130-yard first half, Caleb Williams' 308 yards, a tough night for Drake Maye under pressure, A.J. Brown's fit in New England, two touchdowns in the final 14 seconds of the half, and Cairo Santos' 58-yard field goal. Chicago is 5-2 heading into three straight primetime games.
It's Friday, so everybody brings a college pick and an NFL pick. Mikey P rides Trinidad Chambliss and Ole Miss at Texas, Supi likes Miami against Pitt and the Dolphins against the Jets, and Coach goes with Tulsa against Army tonight and the Panthers against the Bucs, with listener Jimbo's Utah and Panthers plays and a Rutgers-Northwestern detour. Picks are the hosts' opinions and lines move. 21+. Gambling problem? Call 1-800-GAMBLER.
In Front Page News, the crew reacts to the Sixers rallying from 29 down to beat Cleveland in LeBron James' home debut, Kenny Atkinson's LeBron comments, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's record 141-game 20-point streak ending in a win over Denver. Then the World Series: Rays at Brewers starts tonight in Milwaukee, and Coach wonders who's watching. Coach, who worked at MSG Network before ESPN, tells the Knicks ring story (an employee "ring" email that was a phishing test, and assistants still waiting), plus the 24-hour ESPN interview seminar he had to take twice. Final takes close on Drew Mestemaker vs. Trinidad Chambliss.
Housekeeping: BTT Studios' six shows are all at one audio link and one video link in Coach's bio. Coach and Company streams on YouTube, X, Facebook and Kick. A Stadium Network VOD segment drops later today. The Coach and Bro with Vince Russo is live today at 2 PM ET.

JJ Watt Gets the CBS Job | Pats-Bears TNF + 5 NFL Questions — Afternoon Drive with the Coach Thursday 10/22/26
Show notes
Coach opens Thursday's Afternoon Drive with the news of the day: Saquon Barkley is expected back for the Eagles on Monday night against the Cowboys (ESPN), and JJ Watt has landed a multiyear deal as CBS's lead NFL analyst alongside Jim Nantz, replacing Tony Romo (ESPN). Coach calls the No. 1 network analyst chair one of the best jobs in sports broadcasting.
Then Thursday Night Football: Patriots at Bears, both 4-2. Coach says Chicago has to stop playing prevent defense after letting Atlanta back into last week's 31-23 win, credits Buffalo for letting Drake Maye "off the mat," and runs through the morning show's best bets. Then the chat gets five questions: the best non-first-place team in the NFL, the best team in the NFC North (Coach says Detroit), whether the Eagles' season is over, Brock Purdy or Josh Allen, and Tom Brady or Peyton Manning as a GM after the report that the Colts called Manning (SI). Also: the Chiefs put Josh Simmons on injured reserve (CBS Sports).
NBA night three: Coach asks if there's any juice left in LeBron James vs. the Cavaliers after the 76ers' opening-night win at Madison Square Garden (Sky Sports), whether Denver or Oklahoma City can challenge the Spurs after Victor Wembanyama's rough opener (CBS Sports), and the Clippers dedicating a win to suspended owner Steve Ballmer (ESPN). Picks and leans are opinion; lines move.
Housekeeping: Coach is live-tweeting Patriots-Bears tonight; help name the Afternoon Drive community in the chat for a $25 BTT merch gift card; Coach and Company recaps TNF Friday at 10 AM ET and The Coach and Bro is live Friday afternoon.

Lendeborg Calls Out Luka & Haliburton Returns | Pats-Bears TNF Preview — Coach and Company Thursday 10/22/26
Show notes
Coach opens with Angel Reese, whose 21 and 12 in Atlanta's 26-point Game 3 win put the Dream up 2-1 in the WNBA Finals (ESPN). Then Mikey P and Peyton Lodge join for NBA opening night. Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg said after the Lakers' rout of Golden State that he "lost all respect" for Luka over his complaining (Yahoo Sports). Peyton agrees Luka hunts fouls, and Mikey calls Lendeborg "Draymond Jr." The crew also gets into LeBron James trading words with Knicks fans at MSG, Anthony Edwards' 45 in Minnesota's win in Miami (NBA.com), and LaMelo Ball telling Ernie Johnson that changing diapers is "not my job."
Tyrese Haliburton scored 23 in his first game since tearing his Achilles in the 2025 Finals, as Indiana won at New Orleans (AP). The Pacers' return video, narrated by Triple H, sends Coach back to Triple H's 2002 return at Madison Square Garden after his torn quad, which he calls the greatest physical comeback in wrestling history. He was in the building.
Raphael Esparza brings Inside Info for Patriots at Bears (ChicagoBears.com), the first Soldier Field game since Mike Ditka's death. Mikey P (a Bears fan, if you hadn't heard) predicts a blowout, and Producer Man rolls out the Superfans. The crew debates Caleb Williams or Drake Maye for your lineup, gives their best bets for the game, and explains why neither 4-2 team can afford a loss. Picks are the hosts' opinions and lines move. 21+. Gambling problem? Call 1-800-GAMBLER.
Housekeeping: Fight Time with Mikey P goes live today around 11:30 AM ET. Afternoon Drive with the Coach is live at 2 PM ET with updated best bets, plus a TNF VOD segment around 7 PM. Roman Left the Building | Russo Explains the Pop & Who WWE Is Writing For — The Coach and Bro Wednesday 10/21/26
Show notes
Coach opens Rant Wednesday by laying down the Super Chat ground rules, then hands Vince Russo the floor (with a parental advisory). Russo's problem with Monday's Raw in San Diego: after his face-to-face with Sami Zayn, Roman Reigns was shown leaving the building, and Russo says he and Ed Ferrara learned in the Attitude Era that when Stone Cold left the arena, the minute-by-minutes fell off a cliff. His fix keeps Roman, The Usos and The 946 in the building from the first 15 minutes, building on last week's main event, where Carmelo Hayes joined The 946. Then Russo explains, for adults only, where the wrestling term "pop" comes from and why an entrance is a reaction, not a pop.
Coach says too many fans think they know better than the people who built the business, challenges the chat to call the Hot Take Hotline, and Russo tells his Colorado Rockies dream. Russo takes aim at the reporters, from Sean Ross Sapp to Dave Meltzer and a comment about Mercedes Moné's WrestleDream match with Thekla, and Coach pushes back on Russo's "if I'm ever hired back" with Jim Cornette's recent comments.
Super Chats: what would force WWE to chase casual fans again, Roman Reigns on why he doesn't work house shows and why he needs a pre-taped office, Raw against big NFL nights, the Cody Rhodes vs. Sami Zayn dark match after Raw, Triple H and the Test/Stephanie wedding, writing Triple H back on TV, scrapping the brand split, and Joe Hendry. Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn is set for Crown Jewel on Nov 7 in Riyadh.
Housekeeping: Meet-and-greets with Coach or Vince next Tuesday at 8 PM ET (six spots, link in chat). Russo's Brand launches new shows Nov 1, including the Bro and Coach show (russosbrand.com). Coach and Bro is back Friday at 2 PM ET.

Sixers Spoil Knicks Banner Night | NFL Clears the Eagles & the CFB Week 8 Lookahead — Coach and Company Wednesday 10/21/26
Show notes
NBA opening night delivered drama, and Coach and Mikey P start in New York. The Knicks raised their first banner in 53 years, but LeBron James' Sixers won 106-100 at Madison Square Garden in his Philadelphia debut (ESPN), and the giveaway shirts on every seat carried the wrong season (OutKick). Detroit erased a 22-point deficit with a 23-0 run against Boston (NBA.com), Victor Wembanyama went 1-for-13 in OKC, and Jalen Brunson's upcoming Law & Order: SVU cameo (ESPN) sets off Mikey's new rule: no changing teams after a TV cameo.
Then the NFL. The league concluded the Eagles handled Jalen Hurts' blood clot appropriately, so no punishment for the team, Nick Sirianni or Howie Roseman (PFT). Coach and Mikey argue the story isn't over, and Coach reminds Philly that Cowboys at Eagles is Monday night. It's Wednesday, so F-Day rants honor the late, great Howie Schwab: Big Tommy C is suspended for one show, Mikey goes after the Bills' spitting suspensions (ESPN; Sam Franklin Jr. is appealing), and Coach begs players to learn time and score. Mikey's uncle names it: "kitchen dances."
Back to school: five of the AP top seven lost last week, Miami is No. 1 and BYU jumped to No. 2 (AP Top 25). The hosts break down Indiana at Michigan, LSU at Auburn after Auburn's upset of Georgia (Auburn), BYU at UCF, Ole Miss at Texas and Arch Manning's moment, and Houston at Utah with College GameDay in Salt Lake City (Utah). They close on Ohio State losing QB Julian Sayin indefinitely (WHIO) and what it means for Jeremiah Smith. Takes and picks are the hosts' opinions; lines move.

NFL Clears Eagles in Jalen Hurts Case | Every Week 7 Game + NBA Opening Night — Afternoon Drive with the Coach Tuesday 10/20/26
Show notes
Coach opens Tuesday's Afternoon Drive on NBA opening night: LeBron James starts his first season with the 76ers on a career-low salary and a Fanatics helicopter commute from New York, and he has to sit through the Knicks raising their championship banner at Madison Square Garden. Coach also previews Thunder-Spurs and says only Philadelphia, New York, Boston and Detroit can hang with the top of the West. (NBA.com)
Then football. Coach's power rankings: the Chiefs on top after Patrick Mahomes tied Tom Brady for the fewest games to 100 wins, then the 49ers, the Bills and the unbeaten Vikings (ESPN). In the NFL news, Coach rips the Eagles' handling of Jalen Hurts, who is out for the season with blood clots in his lungs, and reacts live to The Athletic's report that the NFL found the Eagles followed proper protocols and won't be disciplined: "maybe they didn't break protocol, but it's not the right thing to do by Jalen Hurts" (The Athletic). Also: Davante Adams out 6–10 weeks (NFL.com) and the report that Jay-Z picked himself for the Super Bowl LXI halftime show.
Then the Tuesday tradition: every Week 7 game in two minutes or less, from Patriots-Bears on Thursday night to Cowboys-Eagles on Monday night, including the Steelers and Saints in Paris, the Titans releasing Jordan Elliott before hosting the Browns, the Colts after Chris Ballard's firing and the report they called Peyton Manning (Yahoo Sports), Coach's challenge to Joe Burrow, and why Kansas City is protecting Mahomes from himself. Coach closes with the Brewers-Rays World Series. Picks and leans are Coach's opinion; lines move.
Housekeeping: BTT Studios is live weekdays at 10 AM ET (Coach and Company) and Tue/Thu at 2 PM ET (Afternoon Drive); The 2 Count is Tuesdays at 11:30 AM ET; Monday Night Grind breaks down Cowboys-Eagles Monday at 7 PM ET.
