Big Jobs, Little Pieces 🫖🕷️🧹
Show notes
“Big jobs look impossible until you break them into little ones.”
Granny Gigglesnort suddenly remembers that five witches are coming for tea in just three hours. The cottage is a mess, the cups are filthy, there is hardly any food, and Granny has so much to do that she decides the only sensible plan is to hide under a tea towel and pretend to be a pillow.
Luckily, Stanky arrives. In this funny kids story podcast, he does not ask Granny to fix everything at once. He simply asks one question: “What’s first?”
• 🧹 First, they clear the table.
• ☕ Then they find and wash the cups.
• 🎂 Next comes worm-and-walnut cake.
• 🦇 Then they catch the bat wings that escape and fly around the kitchen.
• 👁️ After that, they chase runaway eyeballs for the éclairs!Every time Granny starts to feel worried again, Stanky helps her focus on just one small job. Bit by bit, the impossible tea party begins to come together.
When the witches finally arrive, they are amazed by the revolting feast of bat-wing sandwiches, spider tartlets, bloodberry scones and bubbling Bogwater Brew. Granny learns that a huge job can feel frightening when you think about everything at once, but one small step at a time can get you all the way to the finish.

He Who Throws Pebbles 🪨💥🪲
Show notes
“He who throws pebbles asks for rocks in return.”
Jinx and Snickerfang are bored on a hot day when one tiny pebble starts a very silly fight. A pebble becomes a rock, the rock leads to dung, and before long the two goblins are trying to get even with each other in more and more disgusting ways.
In this kids story podcast, their revenge gets completely out of control:
• 💩 Snickerfang fires dung from his Sniksy Mud-Splodger.
• 🤢 Jinx answers with ancient snot.
• 🐀 A dead-looking rat gets launched through the air - and then bites Jinx!
• 🪱 Maggots, fish guts, toenails and swamp muck soon join the battle.Neither goblin wants to stop because each one believes the other started it. Eventually they build two enormous muck-launching machines and fire at the same time. Their horrible ammunition crashes together in the sky and rains straight down onto their own Beetle Burrow!
Thousands of furious beetles chase them all the way to the Slithering Stream, where Jinx and Snickerfang finally realise how ridiculous things have become. One tiny pebble caused an enormous mess because they kept trying to get revenge. They learn that getting even often makes a problem bigger instead of making it better... although one cheeky dung beetle soon puts that lesson to the test!

“Looking impressive does not mean you know what you are doing.”
Granny Gigglesnort finds a mysterious bottle buried in her garden. When she opens it, out bursts Eugenie the Genie in a storm of smoke, glitter, jewels and thunder. She certainly looks powerful - and Fergus and Trolla are immediately impressed.
But in this funny kids story podcast, Eugenie’s wishes keep going horribly wrong:
• 💎 Fergus asks for jewels and gets mules.
• 🔥 He asks for fame and gets flame.
• 👀 Trolla asks for pickled eyeballs and gets tickling fireballs.
• 🍽️ She asks for a feast and gets a huge hairy beast!Granny soon notices that Eugenie’s mysterious tattoos are not ancient magic at all. They are instructions telling her how to look impressive: pause for effect, raise eyebrow slowly, wait for applause.
At last Eugenie admits the real problem: she is hard of hearing. Granny gives her an old brass ear trumpet, and suddenly Eugenie can hear perfectly. The friends learn that fancy clothes, big titles and dramatic tricks can make someone seem clever or powerful, but what really matters is what they can actually do.

The Super-Intelligent Renamer
Show notes
“Changing a name does not change what something really is.”
Morgaff Doomweaver has decided that Magimajura’s names simply are not good enough. So he starts renaming everything! The Moonshadow Mountains become Mount Morgaff, Snaggleton becomes Bedraggleton, and even Wizzlethorp’s tower gets a new Morgaff-approved name.
In this ridiculous kids story podcast, Morgaff does not stop with places. Anyone who disagrees with him gets a silly new nickname too:
• 🧙 Wizzlethorp becomes Whimperthorp.
• 👵 Granny Gigglesnort becomes Granny Grumblewart.
• 🛡️ Sir Chucklenugget becomes Sir Chuckle-Nothing.
• 🧌 Grumblegut becomes Dumblebutt.Granny and Wizzlethorp try explaining that simply announcing a new name does not make everyone use it. And calling people silly names does not prove that you are right. But Morgaff refuses to listen.
So they give him a taste of his own medicine and officially rename him! Morgaff is horrified and immediately complains that people cannot just change someone’s name because they feel like it. Exactly! Soon all his renaming orders are cancelled, and Snaggleton gets to stay Snaggleton.
A playful story about names, teasing and disagreements, showing that insults do not make an argument stronger - and rules can look very different when they are suddenly used on you.

You Can't Make an Omelette Without Breaking Eggs
Show notes
“Mistakes can help us learn, but that does not mean we should make a mess on purpose.”
Grumblegut and Trolla hear Sparky say, “You can’t make an omelette without breaking eggs.” She means that when you try something new, things sometimes go wrong, and that is how you learn. Unfortunately, Grumblegut and Trolla understand it very differently!
In this hilarious kids story podcast, they decide that making an omelette must involve breaking as many things as possible:
• 🐔 They break Granny’s chicken coop while collecting eggs.
• 🍳 They pull apart Sylvaris’s kitchen looking for pans and spoons.
• 🥚 Eggs land on heads, in ears and almost everywhere except the bowl.
• 🤧 Trolla’s enormous sneeze sends the omelette flying onto the ceiling!Soon the kitchen is full of broken plates, flour, slime, runaway chickens and one omelette stuck above everyone’s heads. Grumblegut and Trolla are delighted because they think they have followed Sparky’s advice perfectly!
Sparky finally explains the real meaning of the saying: trying something new may involve mistakes, but pointless damage teaches you nothing. After a long afternoon fixing everything they broke, Grumblegut and Trolla discover that sometimes the sensible way really is the easiest way.

Procrastination Makes Easy Things Hard 🍽️🧌🧼
“Procrastination makes easy things hard and hard things harder.”
After a huge dinner in the Grimy Grotto, Grumblegut, Trolla and Snotbeard are left with one tiny problem: the dirty dishes. They could wash them straight away... but instead they all decide to do it tomorrow.
In this funny kids story podcast, tomorrow keeps getting pushed further and further away:
• 🍲 They eat soup from an old skull.
• 🥾 They drink from a boot with a sock still inside.
• 🛡️ They use rusty shields as dinner plates.
• 🍽️ And the dirty dishes keep piling higher and higher.Soon the mess starts moving, breathing and even throwing plates! The Terrible Trio has accidentally created a giant Dish Beast made from mould, grease, old food and weeks of dirty dishes.
When Wizzlethorp arrives, fighting the monster does not work. The only way to defeat it is the one thing the Trio kept avoiding: cleaning up. With buckets, brushes, soap and a lot of scrubbing, they finally destroy the Dish Beast.
The friends learn that putting off a small job can turn it into a much bigger problem. Sometimes the easiest thing is simply to do it now.

Frenemies in the Forest
Show notes
“Even from an enemy, you can learn something useful.”
Wizzlethorp and Sir Chucklenugget are happily marching through the forest when they run straight into Morgaff Doomweaver and his snapping rat-skull sidekick, Scritch. It does not take long before insults start flying, swords are drawn and magic is blasting everywhere!
But in this action-packed kids story podcast, a much bigger problem suddenly crashes through the trees: a huge Dualhide Ravager covered in magical armour.
• 🛡️ Hit one side, and its armour quickly becomes stronger there.
• 💥 Wizzlethorp and Morgaff both try attacking it alone - and both fail.
• 🐀 Scritch bites anything he can reach.
• ⚔️ Sir Chucklenugget gets battered while trying to distract the beast.Morgaff finally works out the secret: the creature cannot protect both sides at the same time. The trouble is, he and Wizzlethorp are so busy trying to outsmart each other that they keep ruining the plan!
At last, the two rivals stop arguing and work together. Their spells hit at exactly the same moment, smashing the Ravager’s armour and saving everyone. They are still enemies when it is all over, but Wizzlethorp learns an important lesson: good ideas can come from people you do not like - and sometimes even a foe can teach you something valuable.

“Failure is not the opposite of success - it is part of success.”

In this silly kids story podcast, Snickerfang tries again and again:
• 🪣 A bucket of swamp slime ends up all over him.
• 🥧 An exploding pie blasts him with rotten custard.
• 🪶 A treasure chest covers him in itching feather-powder.
• 🕷️ A giant hairy spider sends him headfirst into dirty dishwater.
• 🪑 A spring-loaded chair fires him straight into sticky Gloopmoss!Jinx thinks every failed prank proves that Snickerfang is hopeless. But she misses one important thing: after every mistake, he takes out his notebook and writes down what he has learned.

The Sun-Catcher ☀️🌳🔧
“Some people go through a forest and see no firewood.”
Snaggleton has a big problem. The village has run out of wood, and without fire there is no hot food, warm bathwater, bubbling potions or steam for Sparky’s machines!
In this funny kids story podcast, the Terrible Trio head into the forest to chop down a giant tree. But the tree turns out to be a furious Treant who warns them that the forest cannot keep giving away wood forever.
Back in Snaggleton, everyone complains about the blazing hot sun. Then Stanky spots something surprising: an egg is actually frying on a hot stone! He suddenly realizes that the villagers are surrounded by heat. They just have to find a way to use it.
With Sparky’s help, the villagers build a Sun-Catcher using shiny plates, shields and glass. Soon they are boiling water, cooking sausages and powering machines using sunlight instead of chopping down trees. This clever fantasy story for kids is about looking at problems in a new way, using what is already around you, and finding smarter ways to protect nature.

Madame Rattles 🔮🧠🐉
Show notes
“A clever trick can look like magic until you stop, question it and examine the evidence.”
A mysterious fortune-teller has arrived in Snaggleton! Madame Rattles claims she can read minds, uncover secrets and speak to spirits. Fergus, Sir Chucklenugget and Grumblegut are amazed when she appears to know everything about them.
But Wizzlethorp and Sparky are suspicious. In this funny kids story podcast, they notice that Madame Rattles is using clever tricks instead of real magic:
• 🌈 She describes Fergus using two opposite qualities, so her answer cannot be wrong.
• 🔤 She guesses letters until Sir Chucklenugget supplies the name Sir Iron Pants himself.
• 👂 GritSnitcher secretly listens to Grumblegut and passes his information to Madame Rattles.

The Titan Tangler: The Power of Many Snips 🌾⚔️🛡️
Show notes
"Multiple breezes form a strong wind." – Vietnamese Proverb
Sylvaris the Elf loves her garden, but one morning she notices a very unusual purple weed with pulsing veins. Deciding it looks harmless, she leaves it for later. Big mistake! By the next day, the weed has grown to the size of a cat and is creeping her out by watching her every move. By day three, it has grown into a colossal Titan-Tangler the size of a house, looming right over Snaggleton!
When Sylvaris tries to pull it up, the ground explodes with hundreds of slimy, root-like tentacles. A vine snatches her up, and soon, the town's strongest heroes suffer the exact same fate trying to rescue her.
With all the big heroes trapped, Sir Chucklenugget blows his brass hunting horn to summon the backup. Out march Nolan the Gnome Knight and the tiny Mini Might Battalion! Knowing their small swords are like toothpicks against the massive trunk, Nolan looks down and spots a clever strategy: the thousands of tiny, tight root hairs holding the monster to the earth.
In this kids story podcast episode, the tiny army acts like a swarm of colorful ants, focusing entirely on the small battles. Snip by snip, they hack at the spindly roots until the giant plant loses its balance, drops its prisoners, and falls with an earth-shaking crash! It's a magnificent lesson proving that when we join our small efforts together, we can overcome even the biggest challenges

Barnacle's Travels: The Big and Small of the Silver Sea 🏴☠️🌊🧚♀️
Show notes
Bases on nGulliver's travels! Captain Barnacle Bones is a pirate who loves a loud, confident, and unbelievably boastful boast! While steering his ship, The Scurvy Dog, he brags to his cook, Jolly Jane, that he can outwit any wave in the ocean. But a magical storm filled with green and purple lightning proves him wrong, washing him completely overboard into the cold, raging sea!
When the captain wakes up, he finds himself on a strange beach, tied down by hundreds of tiny ropes made of tough nettle-fibre. He has landed in the Nettlewood, home to the tiny, thumb-sized Nettle-Goblins! These fierce little soldiers are locked in a "tremendous war" with a neighboring tribe called the Bog-Hoppers over a very silly rule: the proper way to eat a Glimmer-worm!
To win back his freedom, his parrot Periwinkle, and his extravagant hat, Captain Barnacle Bones strikes a bargain to help them:
• The Giant Pirate: For the tiny goblins, the captain is a massive Man-Mountain! He easily scoops up the entire enemy fleet of canoes and puts them right into his coat pocket.
• The Mushroom Feast: Hailed as a hero, the captain celebrates by greedily eating their entire winter-store of mushrooms and beetle-berries, causing the worried goblins to plot a trap to disable their giant, hungry guest!Realizing he has outstayed his welcome, the captain sneaks away on a raft at dawn, only to get sucked into a powerful whirlpool. When he wakes up this time, the world has completely flipped! The blades of grass are like towering trees—Captain Barnacle Bones has shrunk, and a colossal Titan Child picks him up like a little doll!
Placed inside a massive dollhouse, the tiny pirate faces his greatest, most "shrunk-down" challenges, from fending off a giant slobbering puppy to fighting a wasp the size of an eagle with his tiny cutlass! Thankfully, the child's wise Mother realizes he belongs on the sea and helps him spot The Scurvy Dog through a giant telescope. Placed gently back onto his deck, the captain proudly tells his crew that he has "tamed the titans," proving that no matter how big or small you are, a true pirate always finds his way home!

The Scroll of the Coward: Facing the Heavy Truth 🛡️🧀📖
"A comfortable lie is heavy to carry... But the truth is light."
Sir Chucklenugget is in his absolute element, standing on a sturdy oak table at the Glugging Gargoyle tavern and telling his favorite story! He regales the gasping crowd with the legendary tale of his ancestor, Sir Reginald Iron-Pants, who supposedly fought off thousands of monsters from the Great Goblin Army completely alone for three days and three nights. The village erupts in cheers for the bravest knight who ever lived!
But the very next day, while cleaning out the dusty castle attic, Sir Chucklenugget stumbles over a loose floorboard and finds the private diary of Sir Iron-Pants himself. As he reads the real account of that fateful night, the smile slides off his face like a fried egg on a greasy plate. The legend is a giant lie! Fearing his family name will be ruined, a panicked Chucklenugget holds the book out over the fireplace, determined to burn the history to save the legend.
Suddenly, Nolan, the tiny three-inch-tall Gnome Knight, commands him to stop! Nolan shares a magnificent piece of wisdom: a comfortable lie is far too heavy to carry every day, but the truth is light. Once you drop the lie, you are finally free.
In this kids story podcast episode, Sir Chucklenugget finds the ultimate courage—the bravery to face the truth. He marches back to the tavern and reads the real diary aloud to the entire village:
• The Pantry Trap: Sir Iron-Pants didn't fight at all! He went to the kitchen for a snack to calm his nerves, got stuck inside the pantry when the doorknob fell off, and spent the battle eating cheese in the dark.
• The Sandstone Melt: The goblin army didn't flee from a whirlwind of steel; they ran away because they were made of sandstone-dust and a massive rainstorm threatened to turn them into mud-puddles!Instead of mocking him, the village breaks into roars of laughter and loves the ancestor even more for being an accidentally victorious snacker! Wizzlethorp reminds the knight that it takes a great deal of courage to fight a dragon, but it takes even more courage to destroy a legend to save the truth.

The Grobblesome Tools
Show notes
"A bad worker blames his tools."
Grumblegut the Ogre is usually a very confident smasher of things, but today he is trying to be delicate. He wants to carve a giant stone centipede as a birthday present for his favorite aunt, Auntie Gravel-Guts! The only problem is that every time he taps his chisel, the stone shatters. Panic bubbles in his belly because the birthday is tomorrow!
Instead of slowing down, Grumblegut loses his temper and blames everything but himself:
• The Stone: He claims the first rock is too soft, so he climbs the steep Moonshadow Mountains to drag back a massive slab of hard Midnight Granite.
• The Hammer: When his old wooden mallet dents against the granite, he screams that it's a "marshmallow on a stick" and gets Sir Chucklenugget to forge a gleaming steel hammer called The Master-Whacker.
• The Chisel: When he hits the granite too hard and knocks the centipede's head right off, he blames his rusty chisel and runs to Sparky Flarkbottom for a high-speed, steam-powered Smash-hammer machine. The roaring machine completely gets away from him, exploding his third rock into a pile of red sand! Surrounded by three ruined rocks and three failures, Grumblegut falls to his knees in a hopeless rage.
Thankfully, Lexi Lightdancer the pixie floats down to help. She gently reminds him that the stone reflects the spirit—if you are jagged inside, the stone will break. She teaches him a magnificent breathing exercise: Mountain in, sand out.

Wizzle Flop!

"He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever." – Chinese Proverb
Wizard Wizzlethorp travels deep into the Will-o'-the-Wispwater Woods for the Summit of Sparks—the Annual Grand Gathering of Wizards! He is determined to impress the crowd, including the Grand High Mage, a 900-year-old goblin named Elder Grot. But standing in his way is the loud and talented Zazarac the Zealous, who loves to tease him and calls him "Wizzle-Flop."
The competition features three magical categories:
• The Levitation Test: Wizzlethorp does beautifully, lifting a massive boulder ten feet into the air with a perfectly still hover! 🪨
• The Polymorph Test: Zazarac turns mud into a fountain of chocolate and strawberries, while Wizzlethorp's spell leaves him with a bucket of warm, flavorless sludge. 🥣
• The Grand Finale Fireworks: This is the spell Wizzlethorp has practiced all year to create a majestic firework dragon. But when he waves his wand, it lets out a sad wheeze and summons a tiny, tired smoke-worm that coughs once and vanishes. 🐛As the crowd giggles, Wizzlethorp is completely heartbroken. Elder Grot pulls him aside and points out that his fire-magic hasn't improved in ten years. When Wizzlethorp admits he was too proud to ask for help because he was afraid of looking stupid, Elder Grot shares a magnificent piece of wisdom: “Go. Be a fool for five minutes. Ask.”
In this kids story podcast episode, Wizzlethorp swallows his pride and asks Zazarac for his secret. He braves one minute of giggles to learn a simple truth: the spell needs a pinch of Dragon-Chili Powder and a drop of lime juice! Watch as Wizzlethorp goes back to Snaggleton, paints the entire night sky with a glittering green dragon, and learns that asking questions is the ultimate secret to growing wise.
