Christmas in the Car

What's intended as a formal arrangement turns into something more when Hayden's kindness and unconventional charm begin breaking down her walls. After the loss of her father, the king, Princess Adelaide of Alpinoa is shocked to discover she must be married in order to be crowned queen. With Christmas Eve as her deadline, she enlists the help of her eccentric besties to devise a plan and find her prince.

American commoner Hayden considers Adelaide’s unusual request and the team prep him for royal duties, complete with princely makeover. On a day off, Hayden joins Addy on the countryside and their formal arrangement takes a turn.

Adelaide and Hayden announce their engagement to the public, but a spontaneous night out ends in controversy. Just as Addy and Hayden get closer, someone in her inner circle reveals too much and her secret plan begins to unravel.

With her secret exposed and Hayden out of the picture, Adelaide is forced to make the hardest decision of her life. A surprising reaction from her country sparks a new idea, and the team attempts one last try to save Alpinoa by Christmas.

New here? Our original Christmas audio rom com series, Build a Prince, is still in the feed. Start at Part 1. 🎄🚗

We’re kicking off the 2026 season with a double feature about parents’ love lives, and the kids are not okay. Neither is Will, our resident Scrooge, but let's see if we can win him over.

First up, Great American Family's A Second Chance Christmas, where Candace Cameron Bure and Jonathan Scarfe play exes snowed in at their family cabin. Then we head to Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas opener ’Tis the Season for Setups where a party planner single mom clashes with an (oddly tall) snowboarder, then teams up with him to set up their parents (shout out, Barbara Niven!)

Plus: rankings, red flags, and real talk from an industry perspective.

This week’s Hallmark double feature is all about identity crises: one man forgets who he loves, and one woman wakes up as someone else entirely. Will, meanwhile, still knows exactly who he is: Scrooge.

First up, Forgotten Holiday. Janel Parrish panics and flees when Daniel Lissing proposes, and a car crash wipes out his memory of their entire relationship. Then Lori Loughlin and Tom Cavanagh star in What If Christmas, where a magical ornament sends Lori into an alternate life as a famous fashion designer. We just have a lot of questions about the fashions.

Some light roasting, our infamous steam-o-meter, and real talk from an industry perspective.

This week’s double feature is all about Daddy Issues: one single dad keeps running into the new girl in town (like, a lot), and another gets stranded in polar bear country. Special guest Uly Morazan (the hilarious social media sensation and Pedro Pascal’s bf!!) joins us in the car, and Will complains about the Hallmark DILF industrial complex.

First up, Rhiannon Fish stars in Hallmark’s Who’s Coming for Christmas?, where a woman tries to fill her late grandmother’s dining table with eight guests on Christmas Eve, and the single-dad neighbor (Jake Foy) volunteers to help. We just have a lot of questions about the guest list.

Then it’s Great American Family’s A Very Arctic Christmas. Cameron Mathison plays a baseball player turned tv host who takes his daughter on an Arctic Christmas cruise. A timing mix-up strands them in a remote town where polar bears outnumber people, and Jill Wagner’s wildlife conservationist (with a cool mullet) comes to the rescue.
