Dreaming Global Events: Collective Unconscious, Resonance, & Future Forecasting | JM Debord, EP 437
Season 4, Episode 37
Show notes
What if your dreams weren’t just personal… but part of a global pattern? In this episode, Bernard Beitman, MD (author of Therapy for Humanity) talks with J.M. DeBord—dream researcher, Jungian thinker, and author of The Science of the Paranormal—about the emerging connection between dreams, synchronicity, and the future of human consciousness. We explore why synchronicity remains outside mainstream science, how Jung and Pauli’s dual aspect monad may describe the bridge between mind and matter, and whether AI can help detect collective dream patterns hidden inside massive datasets like Reddit’s Dreams Forum.J.M. explains how resonance, intuition, and narrative shape reality—and why humanity may be approaching a scientific paradigm shift as repressed abilities like precognition, telepathy, and deep intuition re-emerge.Are dreams forecasting our future? Is consciousness evolving? And what kind of future can Humanity choose?Join us for a mind-expanding conversation.J. M. DeBord is the author of numerous books about dream interpretation, the founder of Owls School of Dreaming, and a community moderator at reddit.com's r/dreams and r/Jung. Infinite Consciousness: Love, Creativity, and Human Purpose | Joan Walton, EP 436
Season 4, Episode 36
Show notes
In this intimate and far-reaching conversation, Dr. Bernard Beitman speaks with educator and consciousness scholar Joan Walton about a vision of reality in which consciousness is not a product of the brain, but the infinite and eternal ground of all existence. Joan describes consciousness as the source of love, creativity, and intelligence itself—and human beings as unique expressions of this universal field.Their dialogue moves between personal experience and deep philosophical inquiry: grief and healing, interior life and education, synchronicity and meaning, silence and shared knowing. Joan recounts how years of working with traumatized children and contemplative practices transformed her understanding of suffering and purpose. Together, they explore whether humanity is being invited into a new relationship with consciousness—one that could reshape how we live, learn, love, and choose our collective future.Dr Joan Walton is a senior lecturer in Education at York St John University, UK. Her research interests include investigating postmaterialist ideas about consciousness and exploring what relevance these ideas have for education. She is Chair of the Board of the Scientific and Medical Network, serves on the Galileo Commission Steering Group, and Chair of the Executive Committee of the International Network for the Study of Spirituality. AI and Your Mind Compete for Our Future | David Lorimer, EP 443
Show notes
Do you have a coincidence story to tell? Please go to The Coincidence Project website to share your story!https://thecoincidenceproject.net/share/In this provocative conversation, Bernard Beitman and David Lorimer explore a defining tension of our era: will the future be shaped by human imagination—or by machines built to predict and control it? From transhumanist dreams of merging with technology to visions of evolving toward cosmic consciousness, they examine competing narratives about where Humanity is headed. Is surveillance culture quietly narrowing human agency? Or can imagination, resonance, and community generate a more compassionate future?Drawing on philosophy, spirituality, psychology, and current technological trends, they contrast dystopian control systems with an ethic of interconnectedness and partnership. The discussion moves from brain–computer interfaces and propaganda to wisdom councils, collective imagination, and the power of shared intention. If the future begins in thought, then the stories we cultivate today matter more than ever. The question is simple—and urgent: who shapes the next chapter of Humanity?

Conscious Evolution & the Future of Humanity The Emerging Human | Jonathan Zap & Jeff Kripal, EP 442
Season 4, Episode 42
Show notes
In this wide-ranging conversation, Bernard Beitman is joined by Jeff Kripal and Jonathan Zapp to explore one of the most urgent questions of our time: what story is Humanity living inside now—and what story must come next?Moving beyond dystopian collapse narratives, the discussion examines conscious evolution, imagination, and the emergence of new myths capable of holding paranormal experience, altered states, synchronicity, and the future human.
Drawing from mysticism, psychology, science fiction, and lived experience, they explore how ego experiences crisis while the deeper self recognizes emerging futures. Telepathy, near-death experiences, AI, resonance, and “super stories” are approached as signals—hints of capacities and narratives already forming at the edges of culture. This conversation asks how new stories might integrate them recognizing that religious stories are forms of science fiction. If Humanity is to evolve, the future depends on the stories we dare to imagine for ourselves and together.

What Coincidences Are Trying to Tell Us—and How to Listen | Anna Taranova, EP 427
Season 4, Episode 27
Show notes
When life lines up in impossible ways, is it just chance, or are we moving through a real “field of coincidence”? In this episode, Dr. Bernie Beitman and researcher Anna Taranova explore how synchronicity might be mapped, measured, and understood as part of a deeper pattern in reality. In this episode of Connecting with Coincidence, Dr. Bernard Beitman talks with artist, writer, and researcher Anna Taranova about her pioneering work on the Ψ model, also known as the field of coincidence. Drawing from psychology, philosophy, art, and physics, Anna is developing a formal framework that treats synchronicities, intuition, and altered states of consciousness as patterns that can be described, modeled, and tested empirically.Anna shares how a childhood of deep curiosity, an early existential crisis, and later training in art and psychology led her to search for a language that could hold both inner experience and outer science. That search eventually crystallized into the Ψ model, a way of thinking in terms of “streams” that meet in time and space. She explains how these converging streams can be seen in the body through respiration and electrodermal activity, in relationships, in Jungian ideas of anima and animus, and even in astrophysical events like gravitational waves and magnetic storms.Anna Taranova is an artist, writer, and interdisciplinary researcher educated at Central Saint Martins, London. With training in psychology and philosophy, she develops the Ψ-model (the field of coincidence) as a formal framework for human perception. Her work unifies fragmented approaches to synchronicities, intuition, and altered states of consciousness into a coherent structure that can be tested empirically. Having lived in ten countries and studied more than seventy cultural contexts, she investigates how language, sensitivity, and environment shape cognition. Publications are available on Zenodo, projects on GitHub, and professional background on LinkedIn.https://psi-model.github.io/psi-model-by-anna-taranova/?fbclid=PAdGRleANGO0pleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABp7TV4-yza5sUxDOq5RlDjsHPHLqsb3OjUGOeObf_9H6htz9iKTEG7L8
