On the biggest night of the year, Connacht were a no-show as they were walloped by a very callow but hugely exciting Leinster team who looked very at home in a packed Dexcom Stadium.

Connacht snatched an unlikely try bonus point win as Ciarán Frawley produced a masterful display of out-half play in Treviso capping the performance with 2 tries. Connacht were under huge pressure in the scrum, conceding 7 penalties from it from the total of 14, but they showed enormous resilience and tenacity along with some glorious back-play to kick-start their season.
