2027 Rookie Mock Draft: Jeremiah Smith Leads a Changing Class
The 2027 dynasty rookie class looks considerably different than it did before the season.
Garret Price and Andrew Mott return to the rookie draft board for a two-round Superflex, tight end premium mock, examining which prospects are climbing, which are falling, and where dynasty managers should be looking for value.
Listen to This Episode:
🎙️ Spotify
▶️ YouTube
Jeremiah Smith remains the unquestioned first overall selection, but the decisions become much harder immediately afterward.
Jadan Baugh comes off the board at 1.02, followed by quarterbacks Darian Mensah and Drew Mestemaker. Mensah's accuracy offers an intriguing alternative to Mestemaker's higher-risk, higher-ceiling profile.
The biggest disagreement comes with Arch Manning, whose talent remains appealing despite Garret's concerns that he may return to school rather than enter the 2027 NFL Draft.
Cam Coleman remains a first-round selection, but Charlie Becker is making a serious push up the receiver rankings with his production.
Meanwhile, Jamari Johnson emerges as the first tight end selected, and the second round features intriguing prospects like Reed Harris, Nick Marsh, Jamal Roberts, and Trey'Dez Green.
The class may not have developed quite as many elite prospects as expected, but its depth continues creating interesting opportunities throughout rookie drafts.

Huge Risers in Dynasty This Week! | Dynasty Fantasy Football Podcast Ep. 938
Show notes
Dynasty Risers and Fallers: Is It Time to Worry About Ashton Jeanty?
The dynasty running back market keeps getting harder to trust. Garretand Pete break down the biggest dynasty risers and fallers after Week 8, including Mike Washington’s growing role, Bhayshul Tuten’s climb, and the uncomfortable questions surrounding Ashton Jeanty.
Listen to This Episode:
🎙️ Spotify
▶️ YouTube
Washington headlines this week’s risers after the workload swung heavily in his favor. For Garret, that raises a serious concern: Jeanty’s status as a dependable workhorse can no longer be taken for granted. Pete sees lingering injury concerns as a bigger factor and remains more optimistic about a rebound.
The disagreement creates an interesting buying window. Both would consider acquiring Jeanty for a mid-to-late 2027 first, even with his immediate outlook getting murky. But should contenders prioritize the production of James Cook or Jonathan Taylor instead of waiting for Jeanty to turn things around?
Bhayshul Tuten is pushing into the dynasty RB1 conversation. His combination of rushing work, receiving involvement, and explosive ability has Pete ready to rank him inside the top 12, while Garret sees a player who at least belongs in that discussion.
Meanwhile, Braelon Allen’s emergence has Garret viewing the Jets’ backfield as a committee. Breece Hall still offers receiving value, but Allen’s growing role is making the gap between them harder to justify.
The guys also revisit Jonah Coleman, whose opportunity in Denver has them increasingly excited—and increasingly concerned about RJ Harvey and J.K. Dobbins. Check the latest Dynasty Rankings as these backfields continue to shift.
The episode also examines the fallout from Lamar Jackson’s injury and what an extended absence could mean for Zay Flowers and Derrick Henry.
Garret and Pete lower their expectations for Baltimore’s offense, but that doesn’t mean selling every player at a discount. The bigger question is how contenders should adjust when an injury changes the outlook for several cornerstone assets at once.

Dynasty Tight End Rankings: Updated TE Tiers
The elite tier of dynasty tight ends is becoming increasingly clear, but things get complicated quickly once you move down the board.
Garret Price and Andrew Mott rebuild the dynasty tight end rankings and separate the true difference-makers from a deep group of volatile options.
Listen to This Episode:

Brock Bowers and Trey McBride remain the clear S-tier options. Bowers gets the edge at the top, but McBride has created enough separation from the rest of the position to belong alongside him.
Behind them, Tyler Warren offers the safer production profile while Colston Loveland brings a more volatile combination of floor and enormous weekly upside.
Tucker Kraft, Harold Fannin Jr., Isaiah Likely, and Sam LaPorta make up the next tier, although Likely's changing target share creates some concern.
Things become even more difficult with George Kittle, Kyle Pitts, Dalton Kincaid, and Kenyon Sadiq. Kittle still offers championship-level production for contenders, while Pitts and Kincaid continue providing just enough upside to keep dynasty managers invested.

Who's Actually Safe? | Dynasty Fantasy Football Podcast Ep. 936
Show notes
Which Dynasty Roles Are Actually Safe?
A player's dynasty value can change quickly when his role starts disappearing.
Rich Dotson and Garret Price play a game of “Who's Safe, Who's Not?” and examine several dynasty assets whose long-term opportunities may be less secure than their current values suggest.
Listen to This Episode:
🎙️ Spotify
▶️ YouTube
Garrett Wilson remains the likely No. 1 receiver for the Jets, but Omar Cooper's emergence has introduced enough uncertainty to make the situation worth monitoring.
The bigger concern is Ashton Jeanty. His receiving production continues keeping his fantasy value strong, but Mike Washington's increased rushing involvement has Garret and Rich questioning whether Jeanty still has a true workhorse role.
Meanwhile, Cam Skattebo has gone in the opposite direction. After looking like his role was disappearing earlier in the season, his recent performances have pushed him back toward a secure lead-back role.
The guys also identify players dynasty managers should consider acquiring before a breakout makes them considerably more expensive.
De'Zhaun Stribling remains an intriguing young receiver to stash before his return, while Jacoby Lane is beginning to earn consistent opportunities in Baltimore.
At tight end, Eli Raridon may offer the most interesting long-term upside. His role continues growing, and his ability to create explosive plays gives him a path toward becoming a significant dynasty riser.

How Long Can Rushing QBs Stay Elite? | Dynasty Fantasy Football Podcast Ep. 935
Show notes
Should Dynasty Managers Sell Aging Rushing Quarterbacks?
Mobile quarterbacks can become fantasy football cheat codes, but what happens when the rushing production starts disappearing?
Garret Price and Rich Dotson examine how some of fantasy football's most productive rushing quarterbacks aged after turning 30 and what the historical results could mean for today's dynasty market.
Listen to This Episode:
🎙️ Spotify
▶️ YouTube
Garret examines seven retired quarterbacks who rushed for more than 2,400 yards before turning 30. Six experienced a decline in fantasy points per game from ages 30 through 35, creating an important question for Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, and Kyler Murray.
The takeaway isn't that every mobile quarterback will collapse. Instead, dynasty managers may need to reconsider how long they should pay elite prices for production heavily dependent on rushing.
That conversation also creates an argument for quarterbacks like Jared Goff, whose fantasy value may age more gracefully.
The guys finish with Adjust the Ranks, highlighting Javonte Williams as a potentially undervalued running back and Makai Lemon as a young receiver beginning to demand a larger role.

The biggest debate centers on Justin Jefferson. Garret moves Jefferson into B tier after multiple seasons of disappointing fantasy circumstances, while Andrew remains much more reluctant to move him outside the elite group.
The rankings become even more difficult further down the board. Matthew Golden, Christian Watson, Luther Burden III, and Rome Odunze land in C tier, while young receivers like Omar Cooper Jr., KC Concepcion, Denzel Boston, Jordyn Tyson, and Makai Lemon highlight an extremely deep D tier.

Dynasty Risers and Fallers: Young Breakouts Are Changing Values
The dynasty landscape keeps moving, and this week the biggest changes are coming from young players forcing their way into fantasy lineups. Rich Dotson, Garret Price, and Peter Bartausky break down the biggest risers and fallers after another revealing week of NFL action.
Listen to This Episode:

KC Concepcion delivered the type of explosive performance dynasty managers have been waiting for. His combination of consistent involvement and big-play ability is quickly turning him from an exciting long-term asset into someone managers can trust in their lineups.
Jonah Coleman also returned to immediate involvement in Denver's backfield, while Caleb Douglas turned two catches into two touchdowns and showed more after-the-catch ability than expected.
The fallers are less definitive this week, but Justin Jefferson creates the biggest dynasty discussion. After several seasons that have failed to match his previous elite production, younger receivers are beginning to push him down the rankings.
Chase Brown continues struggling to produce consistently, while Daniel Jones faces growing uncertainty as Indianapolis moves closer to major organizational changes.

Trade These Young Players to Compete Now? | Dynasty Fantasy Football Podcast Ep. 931

How Much Dynasty Value Should Contenders Sacrifice?
Winning a dynasty championship sometimes requires making a trade that looks uncomfortable on paper. Garret Price and Rich Dotson put themselves in the shoes of contenders and decide how much young dynasty value they would sacrifice for proven production right now.
Listen to This Episode:
🎙️ Spotify
▶️ YouTube
The first debate centers on Omar Cooper Jr. and A.J. Brown. Cooper has flashed exciting long-term upside, but Brown offers the type of established production a contender may trust more in a championship lineup.
The decision gets even tougher with Jeremiah Love. Would a contender really move one of dynasty's most exciting young running backs for Jonathan Taylor? Both hosts ultimately acknowledge that Taylor's immediate scoring advantage could justify the uncomfortable move.
At quarterback, Fernando Mendoza versus C.J. Stroud is much easier. Stroud's recent improvement and established NFL production make him the preferred option for a contender.
The same philosophy pushes Harold Fannin Jr. toward George Kittle, while Jordan Tyson is a different story. Jameson Williams does not provide enough of an immediate upgrade to justify giving away Tyson's upside.

Are Dynasty Managers Overvaluing Youth?
Youth and draft capital drive dynasty value, but eventually your roster has to score points. Garret Price and Rich Dotson examine whether dynasty managers are becoming too obsessed with long-term upside while ignoring proven veterans who can actually win championships.
Listen to This Episode:
🎙️ Spotify

Jared Goff continues to outperform his dynasty price and represents exactly the type of veteran quarterback contenders can exploit.
The same argument becomes even stronger at running back. Christian McCaffrey, DeAndre Swift, and other established veterans raise an uncomfortable question: how much future upside should managers sacrifice for production they already know exists?
At receiver and tight end, proven veterans can offer similar opportunities. Players like Mike Evans and Dallas Goedert may not carry exciting long-term valuations, but a few seasons of championship-level production can make them better investments than waiting on younger assets to develop.
Dynasty is about building for the future, but that future eventually needs to become the present.

Meanwhile, Germie Bernard delivered a massive PPR performance, although the guys debate whether his current production creates a better selling opportunity than long-term breakout signal.

Christian Watson is producing like a fantasy WR1, but touchdown regression and Green Bay's changing target distribution make his long-term value harder to pin down.
The biggest quarterback debate centers on Jayden Daniels. His rushing ceiling remains elite, but injuries, inconsistent passing production, and uncertainty in Washington have created more risk than expected.
Drake London has looked like a star again with Michael Penix Jr. under center, while Chase Brown remains an intriguing buy for contenders despite a disappointing start.
The key is roster context. Some of these players are holds. Others become buys only at the right price.

Dynasty Buy Low or No Go: Which Struggling Stars Are Worth It?

Bo Nix has struggled, but his previous production keeps the door open for a rebound. Colston Loveland has also disappointed, although the guys question whether his dynasty managers are actually willing to sell low enough to create a true discount.
The outlook gets murkier with Daniel Jones and Jaylen Waddle, where price matters considerably more than name value.
Then there is Justin Jefferson. He remains one of dynasty's biggest names, but injuries, uncertainty in Minnesota, and a changing receiver landscape make his value much more complicated than it once was.
The guys finish by adjusting their dynasty boards. C.J. Stroud is climbing after a strong stretch, Isaiah Likely is earning a significant tight end bump, and A.J. Brown rises despite being sidelined as other receivers around him continue losing value.

A fresh start alongside C.J. Stroud creates an intriguing new opportunity for Harrison. The talent that made him an elite prospect has not disappeared, but determining the right price remains difficult. Is this the moment to buy the dip, or should managers use the excitement surrounding the trade to finally move on?
Beyond Bijan Robinson and Jahmyr Gibbs, finding young running backs who combine security, production, and long-term upside is becoming difficult.
The guys work through names like Ashton Jeanty, Jeremiah Love, Breece Hall, Bucky Irving, Omarion Hampton, Quinshon Judkins, TreVeyon Henderson, and Bhayshul Tuten to determine who can actually be trusted.
That scarcity could also keep productive veterans valuable much longer than dynasty managers normally expect. Check the latest Dynasty Rankings as the position continues to shift.high strategy from Dynasty Nerds.
