The Week 8 Sheesh Report: a beyond-the-box-score breakdown of the near-miss opportunities you might have missed if you didn't watch every snap of every game. Ian Hartitz went through touchdowns called back by penalty, players tackled at the one-yard line, the unrealized air yards leaderboard, defensive pass interference, the interception doctor (all 23 Week 8 interceptions, and who was really at fault), and the drops and overthrows that cost six points.

Chase Brown made a truly awesome 20-yard contested touchdown catch, only for it to come off the board on a holding penalty; he is now at 122 touches since his last trip to the end zone. Derrick Henry and Rashee Rice lost scores to flags too. Dalton Kincaid dropped a wide-open 11-yard touchdown, Matthew Golden dropped a potential 24-yarder, and Golden now has 898 unrealized air yards on the season, 215 more than anyone else, plus the league lead in DPI penalties drawn and DPI yards.

Ian calls it the Sheesh Report, because these are the plays that make fantasy managers say exactly that.

Week 8 TE rankings and TE tiers: Ian Hartitz ranks his top 24 tight ends for Week 8 of fantasy football and sorts them into three tiers. Trey McBride is Mr. TE1 with at least seven catches in every game this season, T.J. Hockenson is the TE7 in the single best matchup of the week against the Lions, and Chigoziem Okonkwo is the TE11 and streamer of the week, with his route share up from 61% to 68% to 85% since returning from injury. After every tier Ian stops for a bigger question about the position.

    TIER 1: THE BIG SIX
Trey McBride, Brock Bowers, Dalton Kincaid, Colston Loveland, Dallas Goedert, Tucker Kraft.
Key question: who have been the tight end position's best per-route receivers this year? T.J. Hockenson, Dallas Goedert and Kenyon Sadiq stand out in yards and targets per route run.

    TIER 2: LOW-END TE1s WITH A PULSE
T.J. Hockenson, Sam LaPorta, Kyle Pitts, Hunter Henry, Chigoziem Okonkwo, Harold Fannin Jr.
Key question: what tight ends have the best overall game environments this week? The Patriots stand out with a good offense and a good matchup, a big reason Hunter Henry got a bump.

    TIER 3: THE TE2 MINEFIELD
Brenton Strange, Travis Kelce, Michael Mayer, Mike Gesicki, Pat Freiermuth, Tyler Higbee, Colby Parkinson, Darren Waller, AJ Barner, Mason Taylor, Kenyon Sadiq, Greg Dulcich.
Key question: who should bye-week-needy tight end teams look to stream? Chigoziem Okonkwo first, Michael Mayer second.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba is Mr. WR1 at an NFL-record 28 PPR points per game, Michael Wilson is the WR10 against the Cowboys, Garrett Wilson is the WR16 with a boom week incoming (and a Santana Moss jersey bet on the line), and rookie Antonio Williams is the WR34 with Terry McLaurin out of the picture. DK Metcalf, Emeka Egbuka, Carnell Tate, Ladd McConkey, Germie Bernard, KC Concepcion, Keon Coleman, Keenan Allen, Makai Lemon, Antonio Williams, Jordan Addison, Jaylen Waddle.

Key question: what are the best game environments in Week 8? Great offenses with great matchups: the Ravens, Bills, Bengals and Cowboys. Bad offenses with good matchups: the Eagles, Colts and Vikings.

Blake Corum had not one but two touchdowns wiped away by penalties, a 43-yard run on a face mask and a 2-yard run on a hold, so he was not too far off a three-touchdown day. KC Concepcion dropped a potential 48-yard touchdown in the middle of his breakout game. Matthew Golden is up to 749 unrealized air yards on the season, over 200 more than anyone else, leads the league in drops, and is in a two-man race with Nico Collins for the most DPI penalties drawn.

Ian calls it the Sheesh Report, because these are the plays that make fantasy managers say exactly that.

TE rankings and TE tiers: Ian Hartitz ranks his top 24 tight ends for Week 7 of fantasy football, just in time for National Tight Ends Day, and sorts them into four tiers. Brock Bowers is the TE1, George Kittle is the TE3 with Mike Evans (Achilles) not expected to suit up, and Tucker Kraft is the TE6: the Lions are allowing 11 more PPR points per game to tight ends than any other defense. Tyler Higbee climbs to TE7 with Davante Adams sidelined, Colston Loveland is back in TE1 territory, and Colby Parkinson is a touchdown option at TE14. After tiers 1 to 3 Ian stops for a bigger question about the position.

    TIER 1: THE BIG SIX
Brock Bowers, Trey McBride, George Kittle, Isaiah Likely, Sam LaPorta, Tucker Kraft.
Key question: who has the best on-paper matchups this week? Vegas implied team totals against opponent PPR points allowed to tight ends: it's Tucker Kraft and it's everyone else, with the Rams tight ends also set up well. Isaiah Likely and Tyler Warren (groin) face a tough mix of matchup and offense.

    TIER 2: TE1s WITH A QUESTION MARK
Tyler Higbee, Dallas Goedert, Travis Kelce, Colston Loveland, T.J. Hockenson, Kyle Pitts.
Key question: who has the best and worst schedules moving forward? By average opponent rank over Weeks 7-12, the Jets, Broncos, Buccaneers, Steelers and Rams have it easiest; the Chargers, Raiders, Jaguars, Lions, Packers and 49ers have it toughest. Matchups are a tiebreaker, not a rule of thumb.

    TIER 3: THE TE2s
Michael Mayer, Colby Parkinson, Hunter Henry, Pat Freiermuth, Mike Gesicki, Juwan Johnson.
Key question: which tight ends have striking splits inline vs. in the slot or out wide? Bowers (91%), Likely (92%) and McBride (83%) do most of their damage in the slot or out wide, George Kittle gets 82% of his production inline, and Mike Gesicki is at 0% inline.

    TIER 4: NO THANK YOU
Kenyon Sadiq, Harold Fannin Jr., AJ Barner, Darren Waller, Dalton Schultz, Mark Andrews.

WR rankings and WR tiers: Ian Hartitz ranks his top 60 wide receivers for Week 7 of fantasy football and sorts them into five tiers. Puka Nacua is the WR1 with no Davante Adams in the picture, Malik Nabers is the WR12 after three straight 100-yard games, and A.J. Brown is the WR19: Ian makes the case that his Week 6 drops are nothing to panic about. Jaylen Waddle gets one last chance as an upside WR3 against the Cardinals, Omar Cooper Jr. moves up to WR30 on air, and Ian makes his case to free Kyle Williams. After every tier Ian stops for a bigger question about the position.

    TIER 1: THE WR1s
Puka Nacua, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Ja'Marr Chase, Amon-Ra St. Brown, CeeDee Lamb, Justin Jefferson, Nico Collins, Chris Olave, Drake London, Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, Malik Nabers.
Key question: who has the best and worst upcoming schedules? By average opponent rank in WR PPR points per game allowed over Weeks 7-12, the Giants, Titans, Vikings, Cowboys, Ravens and Bengals have it easiest, and the Bills, Falcons, Raiders, Cardinals, Jets and Broncos have it toughest. For Ian, matchups are a tiebreaker, not a reason for sweeping changes.

TIER 2: WR2s TO FEEL GOOD ABOUT
DeVonta Smith, Garrett Wilson, Tetairoa McMillan, Jalen Coker, Zay Flowers, Tee Higgins, A.J. Brown, George Pickens, Michael Wilson, Luther Burden III, Jameson Williams.
Key question: what offenses have the best on-paper matchups this week? Implied points against matchup points allowed: the Packers, 49ers, Lions and Cowboys have the best mix, the Giants, Titans, Browns and Eagles are bad offenses in a good matchup, and the Dolphins, Colts, Cardinals and Chiefs are bad offenses in a bad matchup.

TIER 3: WR3s WITH SOME UPSIDE
DK Metcalf, Germie Bernard, Carnell Tate, Jaylen Waddle, Emeka Egbuka, Denzel Boston, Omar Cooper Jr., Tre Tucker, Devaughn Vele, Xavier Worthy, Rome Odunze, DeMario Douglas, Jaylin Noel.
Key question: who have been the best WRs in a small sample this season? Omar Cooper Jr. is first in yards per route run on 29 routes, Jaylin Noel is first in yards per target, and Kyle Williams is first in yards per catch (minimum five receptions).

    TIER 4: BOOM-OR-BUST WR4s
Malik Washington, Kendrick Bourne, Jordan Addison, KC Concepcion, Chris Godwin Jr., Wan'Dale Robinson, Keenan Allen, Josh Downs, Brandin Cooks, Marvin Harrison Jr., Courtland Sutton, Jahan Dotson.
Key question: who are the league's token sacrificial field-stretching receivers? Deep routes, few targets: Marvin Harrison Jr. leads the group, with Quentin Johnston, Courtland Sutton, Denzel Boston, Rome Odunze and Jameson Williams also down there.

TIER 5: WR5s THAT WON'T WORK OUT... BUT YOU COULD IMAGINE
Ryan Flournoy, Konata Mumpfield, Rashid Shaheed, Dontayvion Wicks, Makai Lemon, Jerry Jeudy, Rashod Bateman, Ja'Kobi Lane, Caleb Douglas, Isaac TeSlaa, Kalif Raymond, Jalen Royals.

Week 7 RB rankings and RB tiers: Ian Hartitz ranks his top 48 running backs for Week 7 of fantasy football and sorts them into five tiers. Jahmyr Gibbs is the RB1 with 30.7 PPR points per game, behind only 2000 Marshall Faulk and 2002 Priest Holmes in NFL history, Chuba Hubbard is the RB6 after five straight top-12 finishes, and Ollie Gordon II is the RB15 as a Dolphins back Ian thinks can deliver top-15 production. Woody Marks lands at RB18 and Ian warns that by about RB15 the position is already in dire straits. After every tier Ian stops for a bigger question about the position, and he finishes with a waiver wire stash who is available in 99% of Yahoo leagues.

    TIER 1: THE BIG EIGHT
Jahmyr Gibbs, Kenneth Walker III, Bijan Robinson, Derrick Henry, Christian McCaffrey, Chuba Hubbard, Kyren Williams, Jonathan Taylor.
Key question: who are the league's true workhorse RBs? Ten backs played at least 75% of their team's snaps in Week 6: Dameon Pierce (97%), Chuba Hubbard, Braelon Allen (87%), Christian McCaffrey and Bucky Irving (85%), Jonathan Taylor, Woody Marks, Bijan Robinson, Tony Pollard and Kenneth Walker. Jaylen Warren, Javonte Williams, Kyren Williams and James Cook all played at least two-thirds.

TIER 2: RBS WE MOSTLY FEEL GOOD ABOUT
D'Andre Swift, Jaylen Warren, Braelon Allen, Javonte Williams, Chase Brown, Bucky Irving, Ollie Gordon II, Rhamondre Stevenson, Ashton Jeanty.
Key question: what offensive lines are best at consistently creating yards before contact? By the share of RB carries that gain 3+ yards before contact, the Bills lead at 34%, ahead of the Rams, Lions, Bears, Ravens, Dolphins, 49ers, Colts and Chargers. The Giants are last, with the Browns, Commanders, Falcons, Seahawks, Raiders, Broncos, Saints, Texans and Packers also near the bottom.

TIER 3: THIS GOT UGLY FAST
Woody Marks, Josh Jacobs, J.K. Dobbins, Dameon Pierce, Aaron Jones Sr., Tony Pollard, RJ Harvey, Emanuel Wilson, Blake Corum, Roschon Johnson, Jaleel McLaughlin, TreVeyon Henderson.
Key question: who has the best and worst strength of schedule moving forward? Weeks 7-12 by opponent rank in RB PPR points per game allowed: the Jets, Vikings, Chiefs, Rams, Dolphins and Patriots have it easiest, and the Bills, Giants, Chargers, Saints, Falcons and Titans have it toughest.

    TIER 4: YIKES
Jordan Mason, Tyrone Tracy Jr., Kendre Miller, Tyler Allgeier, Bam Knight, Rico Dowdle, George Holani, Alvin Kamara, Samaje Perine, Cam Skattebo.
Key question: who has the best matchups in the trenches this week? Combined RB yards before contact per carry: the Rams, Texans, Vikings, Dolphins and Ravens have the best on paper, and the Giants, Browns, Cardinals and Raiders have the roughest.

    TIER 5: HANDCUFF SZN
Mike Washington Jr., Kaelon Black, Justice Hill, Tyjae Spears, Jawhar Jordan, Brian Robinson Jr., Emmett Johnson, Isaiah Davis, Tyler Goodson.
Key question: who are the best low-rostered handcuffs to stash on your fantasy bench? Ray Davis (6% on Yahoo), Roschon Johnson (5%), Samaje Perine (5%), Tyrone Tracy (4%) and Tyler Goodson (1%). The main event is the Colts' Seth McGowan, available in 99% of Yahoo leagues, who becomes the most popular pickup in fantasy football if Jonathan Taylor is traded before the deadline.

Week 7 QB rankings and QB tiers: Ian Hartitz ranks his top 28 quarterbacks for Week 7 of fantasy football (with the Bills, Jaguars, Chargers and Commanders on bye) and sorts them into four tiers. Drake Maye is the QB1 after scoring 22 more fantasy points than any other NFL player over the past three weeks, Jordan Love is the QB3 against the league's most generous defense to QBs, Bryce Young is the QB6 with five 275-yard games already this season, and Daniel Jones is QB28 against Brian Flores' Vikings. After every tier Ian stops for a bigger question about the position.

    TIER 1: THE FAB FIVE
Drake Maye, Joe Burrow, Jordan Love, Jared Goff, Brock Purdy.
Key question: which offenses have the most fantasy-friendly combination of dropback rate over expected and plays per minute? The Cowboys, Packers, Panthers and Rams sit in the fast, pass-heavy corner, the Lions and Saints belong there too because their defenses force them to throw, and the Vikings, Jaguars, Ravens, Falcons and Dolphins are the slowest and most pass-averse.

TIER 2: THE REST OF THE QB1S
Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, Kyler Murray, Caleb Williams, Matthew Stafford, Patrick Mahomes, Tyler Shough, Dak Prescott.
Key question: who has the best and worst upcoming schedules? Weeks 7-12 by opponent rank in fantasy points allowed to QBs: the Eagles, Giants, Buccaneers, Commanders and Vikings have it easiest, and the Falcons, Bills, Panthers, Raiders and Lions have it toughest.

    TIER 3: WE'RE SAYING THERE'S A CHANCE
Geno Smith, Aaron Rodgers, Michael Penix, Kirk Cousins, Jacoby Brissett, Deshaun Watson.
Key question: which QBs are expected to be under the most and least pressure this week? All the time in the world to throw: C.J. Stroud, Aaron Rodgers, Kyler Murray, Joe Burrow and Dak Prescott. Not much time: Daniel Jones, Sam Darnold, Drake Maye and Malik Willis.

    TIER 4: THE OTHER GUYS

Week 6 RB rankings and RB tiers: Ian Hartitz ranks his top 48 running backs for Week 6 of fantasy football and sorts them into five tiers. Rhamondre Stevenson is back in the RB1 club at RB8 with TreVeyon Henderson expected to miss time: a three-down workhorse role as a 7.5-point home favorite against the Jets. Bhayshul Tuten holds at RB15 with Ian sticking with the buy-low-ish call, and Blake Corum is RB25 with the Rams as big home favorites. After every tier Ian stops for a bigger question about the position.

    TIER 1: THE BIG NINE
Bijan Robinson, Kenneth Walker III, Jonathan Taylor, Derrick Henry, Kyren Williams, Christian McCaffrey, James Cook III, Rhamondre Stevenson, Chuba Hubbard.
Key question: who has the best and worst matchups at the line of scrimmage? Combined RB yards before contact per carry: the Bills against the Raiders are a massive outlier, with Kyren Williams and Blake Corum also in great spots. The Seahawks, Texans, Jaguars, Chargers, Raiders and Cowboys have the toughest.

TIER 2: TOP-20 OPTIONS WITH AT LEAST ONE CONCERN
Jaylen Warren, Javonte Williams, Saquon Barkley, D'Andre Swift, Braelon Allen, Bhayshul Tuten, Bucky Irving, Woody Marks, Emanuel Wilson, Ashton Jeanty, Jeremiyah Love.
Key question: who have been the most and least efficient rushers and receivers? Jaylen Warren has been elite, with shout-outs to Kyle Monangai and Chuba Hubbard. Jeremiyah Love and J.K. Dobbins are the only RBs with 50+ touches under 4 yards per carry and per target.

TIER 3: BEGGARS CAN'T BE CHOOSERS
MarShawn Lloyd, Cam Skattebo, Quinshon Judkins, Tony Pollard, Blake Corum, Brian Robinson Jr., J.K. Dobbins, Jacory Croskey-Merritt, RJ Harvey, Omarion Hampton.
Key question: what RBs have done the most cool shit this season? Explosive plays, touchdowns and tackles avoided per carry and target: Kenneth Walker leads by a huge margin, ahead of Chuba Hubbard, Jahmyr Gibbs and Bhayshul Tuten. Najee Harris is dead last.

    TIER 4: WE'RE SAYING THERE'S A (SMALL) CHANCE
Emmett Johnson, Kendre Miller, Alvin Kamara, Keaton Mitchell, Tyjae Spears, Rachaad White, Kaelon Black, Rico Dowdle.
Key question: what offenses have provided the least fantasy-friendly environments? RB yards before contact per carry and RB target share: the Texans, Jaguars, Giants, Cardinals, Commanders, Cowboys, Colts, Packers and Eagles are in the rough corner. The 49ers, Lions, Chiefs, Rams and Bills are the friendliest.

TIER 5: DARTS AND BENCH STASHES
Ty Johnson, Justice Hill, Kimani Vidal, Chris Rodriguez Jr., Najee Harris, Mike Washington, Tyler Allgeier, Sean Tucker, Dameon Pierce, Austin Ekeler.
Key question: who are the best waiver wire handcuff stashes? All under 10% rostered on Yahoo and ESPN: Ray Davis, Dylan Sampson, Roschon Johnson, Samaje Perine, Seth McGowan and Tyler Goodson. Pure handcuffs: Ray Davis first, Seth McGowan second.
