Happy Halloween from three sisters, three continents, and one very spooky group chat.

We started with ACOTAR and the three Archeron sisters, since we’re a trio too (guess which one of us is Feyre 🏹). Then we went through our best Halloween costumes as kids and young adults, all the way up to our current era 🧟‍♀️. We chatted about our favorite Halloween movies from PG to R 🫣 and we finished with the candy we’d fight each other for. 🍫🍬

This one’s for our mom. Mama Jill turned 62 on 10/21, and we spent this episode having her tell some of her story: growing up in Detroit, the wild teen years, into her early 20s as a Navy airplane mechanic stationed at Barbers Point, Hawaii, where she met our dad.

She was always chasing a thrill, an adventure, or a good time, even when it looked like causing trouble to everyone else. She’s our hero and the most powerful woman we know. Fair warning, we're a little biased.

We sat down to talk about all our old stomping grounds and the places we’ve traveled together. We made it about as far as the Northwoods.

Minnesota, Michigan, a little bit of Wisconsin. One memory led to another, and an hour later we realized we never left. Three sisters, three continents, and apparently one very strong pull back to the same patch of trees.

If you grew up up north, you’ll get it. If you didn’t, you’ll at least learn why we’re still talking about it.

We asked each other a vague amount of questions. Rapid-fire, no prep, no time to think of a polished answer. Three sisters, three continents, and a list of questions that sounded easy until they weren’t.

Somewhere between the hot takes and the “wait, since WHEN?” moments, we found out things about each other we’d somehow never covered in a lifetime of knowing each other. Some answers were funny, some were chaotic, and a couple got weirdly honest.
