Episode 212: Nobuhiko Obayashi Week 5 (Bound for the Fields, the Mountains, and the Seacoast + Hanagatami)
On Episode 212 of Floating Through Film, we're concluding our series picked by Blake, Nobuhiko Obayashi! In this week, we review two films from Obayashi's filmography with familiar themes, but vastly different styles, starting with his 1986 film Bound for the Fields, the Mountains, and the Seacoast, and then concluding with the final film from his "Anti-War Trilogy", 2017's Hanagatami (1:18:05). We hope you enjoy!
