Theta Waves No.1 - Undulating Textures + Soft Galactic Fizz
Season 10, Episode 11
Show notes
π EXTRA LONG EPISODES and SO MUCH MORE on APPLE (Free Trial) + PATREON (Free Collections) π SEE BELOW
π§ Inside this Flooba episode...Undulating textures and pulsating low bass drift beneath gentle galactic sound effects and a soft fizzing layer. The volume rises and falls in slow waves, creating an immersive, spacey soundscape from the Chill 'n' Nap range.
π§ This might suit your brain if......you enjoy low, pulsing sounds and slowly shifting textures while resting, daydreaming or easing into a quieter moment. You might like the gentle ebb and flow, or simply enjoy having something cosmic to get lost in. The theta label describes the intended sound theme, not a guaranteed brain state or effect. No rules, no right way to listen. YOU decide what your brain needs.
π Theta Waves (4β8 Hz) 'Chill 'n' Nap'
Associated with drowsiness, daydreaming and that floaty space between awake and asleep. Theta-based audio might feel deliciously slow and absorbing, or completely wrong for your brain. Try it for winding down, meditation or drifting off.β οΈ SAFETY WARNING: Please listen responsibly. Keep the volume low, especially when using headphones, and avoid prolonged listening. Extended exposure to sound may cause discomfort, tinnitus or hearing damage. If you experience any discomfort or ringing in your ears, stop listening immediately.
π BINAURAL BEATS + BRAINWAVE AUDIO (Gamma, Beta waves etc) - PLEASE READ
π§ Start slowly: If youβre new to brainwave audio, begin with around 10 minutes and gradually increase your listening time.
π Keep the volume comfortable: Avoid turning up quieter or low-frequency sounds. Prolonged exposure to sound above 85 dB may damage hearing.
β±οΈ Take breaks: Avoid prolonged continuous listening and give your ears and brain regular breaks.
β οΈ Listen to your body: If you experience anxiety, irritation, discomfort or a headache, stop listening.
β οΈ Please listen safely: Consult your GP if you have any concerns before listening. Do not listen while driving, operating machinery, or anywhere becoming drowsy could be unsafe. Flooba recordings are for adult entertainment and psychoeducational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional clinical advice or support.

COCONUT ICE NOISE to LIGHT RAIN: Sound-Drift No.4 - Sensory Safe Audio For ADHD + ASD
Season 10, Episode 10
Show notes
π§ Inside this Flooba episode...
Flooba's soft Coconut Ice Noise, a blend of pink + white noise, begins the soundscape before gradually and seamlessly drifting into gentle light rain. Soft textures and predictable layers change slowly over time, with no sudden jump from one sound to the other.π§ This might suit your brain if...
...you like your sound to change, but very slowly and without too many surprises. Perhaps your brain enjoys beginning with the consistent texture of colour noise and gradually discovering that somewhere along the way, it has become rain. You might notice the transition, drift through it without noticing at all, or simply enjoy whichever part your attention happens to land on.
Thereβs no right way to experience the drift. Let the sound change around you and notice what feels right, your brain gets to decide what this sound is for.β¨β¨ WANT THIS FLOOBA EPISODE TO LAST LONGER? β¨β¨

THUNDERSTORM Heavy Rain + Thunder For ADHD - NOT FOR EVERYONE! Whistling and Gusting Wind, Rain, Thunder
Season 10, Episode 9
Show notes
π§ Inside this Flooba episode...
Heavy rain, whistling and gusting wind, shifting storm textures and sudden rumbles of thunder create a wild, immersive and deliberately unpredictable soundscape. This isn't gentle, consistent rain. The intensity changes, the wind moves around and the thunder arrives when it feels like it.π§ This might suit your brain if...
...predictable sound isn't always what you want. Perhaps your attention enjoys waiting for the next rumble, following the changing wind or getting swallowed up by something big enough to compete with everything else. For some sensory-seeking brains, a full-on storm might feel far more satisfying than something quiet and gentle. For other brains, sudden thunder and unpredictable changes may feel uncomfortable or overwhelming, and that's equally valid. There is no universally calming sound. Notice what works for you, your brain gets to decide what this sound is for.
ππ» A Quick Sensory Heads-Up. Contains: Sudden and turbulent sound - This is not for everyone!

The steady, repetitive sound of carrots being grated, creating a consistent scratchy, crunchy texture that repeats again and again. Simple, semi-rhythmic and wonderfully ordinary, with very little for your brain to keep track of except scrape, scrape, scrape.
π§ This might suit your brain if...
...your attention is drawn to small, repetitive everyday sounds, or thereβs something satisfying about constant scratchy textures. Perhaps it gives your brain a tiny detail to follow, perhaps it fades pleasantly into the background, or maybe you just discover that carrot grating scratches a sensory itch you didn't know you had. Delta Waves No.1 - Deep Subliminal Pulsating Delta Waves for ADHD + ASD
Season 10, Episode 5
Show notes
π§ Inside this Flooba episode... Slow, subliminal pulsating delta waves blend with a deep, bass-y drone and subtle wave-like textures. The sound gently undulates in both texture and volume, creating an immersive, continuously shifting soundscape with a slow, heavy pulse underneath.
π§ This might suit your brain if...
...you enjoy deep, slow-moving sound that changes gently rather than staying completely static. You might reach for it when you want less stimulation, need some space from a busy day, are settling down for the night, or simply want to sink into something deep and immersive for a while. As always, these are only suggestions, your brain gets to decide what this sound is for.ππ» A Quick Sensory Heads-Up. Contains: Volume changes
Delta Waves (0.5β4 Hz) βSnooze βnβ Sleep?β
Delta activity is the slowest brainwave activity and is strongly associated with deep, non-REM sleep. This stage of sleep plays an important role in physical restoration and recovery. Delta-based audio may provide a slow, repetitive sound environment for sleep or deep relaxation, although individual responses vary and listening to delta-frequency audio does not necessarily produce delta brainwave activity.

Flooba's Coconut Ice Noise - White + Pink Noise Fusion - Fizzy Audio for Your Brain!
Season 10, Episode 2
Show notes
π§ Inside this Flooba episode...
'Coconut Ice' (A British Sweet) Noise is Floobaβs fusion of white + pink noise, blending the brighter hiss of white noise with the softer, more balanced texture of pink for a continuous, even sound.
π§ This might suit your brain if...
...you like consistent sound that fills the background without demanding your attention, or find silence leaves too much room for every little noise to jump out. You might reach for it to mask unpredictable sounds, soften a distracting environment, create a more consistent sensory space, or simply because your brain likes the texture. As always, these are only suggestions - your brain gets to decide what this sound is for.
ππ» A Quick Sensory Heads-Up. Contains: Fizzy sound

Binaural Beats No.6 - Beta Beats + Space Music + Sea Waves
Season 9, Episode 12
Show notes
π§ Inside this Flooba episode...
This one's a bit of a Flooba mish-mash. Pulsating beta-wave binaural beats sit amongst space-y atmospheric music while seaside waves roll away in the background. Thereβs rhythm, ocean, drifting cosmic stuff and quite a lot going on, yet somehow it all seems to belong in the same slightly peculiar place.
π§ This might suit your brain if...
...one sound sometimes just isn't enough. Perhaps your attention locks onto the beta pulse, wanders off into the space-y music, comes back via a wave, then disappears somewhere completely different again. You might enjoy having several layers to explore, or eventually hear the whole strange combination as one big background sound.
Beta frequencies come with plenty of claims about attention and concentration, but this sound doesn't need to make your brain do anything in particular. Headphones are needed for the binaural effect, then see what your brain makes of the mish-mash. Your brain gets to decide what this sound is for.
ππ» A Few Things Your Ears Should Know: Contains pulsating 'beats'.
π What are Binaural Beats? Two different frequencies are sent separately to each ear (e.g., 400 Hz left, 410 Hz right). The brain's superior olivary complex creates a third, illusory beat (10 Hz) inside your head. Requires headphones. For more comprehensive guidance, you can review Verywell Mind's guide on binaural beats: https://www.verywellmind.com/your-brain-and-binaural-beats-8681079 or Sleep Foundation's article on sound and brainwaves: https://www.sleepfoundation.org/noise-and-sleep/binaural-beats

Industrial Hot Air Blower - Sink Into the Gravelly Hum
Season 9, Episode 11
Show notes
π§ Inside this Flooba episode...
A hot industrial air blower steadily doing its thing. Warm rushing air combines with a low mechanical hum and a slightly gravelly, rough-edged texture, creating a continuous sound that feels substantial rather than silky smooth. Industrial, steady, predictable and pleasingly grrrrr-ish.
π§ This might suit your brain if...
...you like your background sound deep, steady and with a bit of texture to it. Perhaps the predictable whoosh gives your attention somewhere uncomplicated to sit, while that gravelly mechanical edge provides just enough sensory detail to stop the sound feeling completely flat. Maybe you'll work with it, disappear into it, use it as background noise, or simply discover that your brain has a thing for big industrial machines going grrrrrr.
Fair enough. Your brain gets to decide what this sound is for.

Walking Through Tall Dry Grass - Soft Swishing + Crunching Sounds
Season 9, Episode 9
Show notes
π§ Inside this Flooba episode...
Come for a wander through tall, dry grass. Each step pushes through brittle stems, creating soft swishes, brushes, rustles and little crunchy textures as the grass moves around you. The walking stays steady while the tiny details change with every step.
π§ This might suit your brain if...
...your brain enjoys repetition with just enough variation to keep things interesting. Perhaps you'll follow the footsteps, listen for individual crunches, get absorbed in the swish of grass brushing past, or let the whole walk become one continuous rustly texture.
Maybe it scratches a sensory itch. Maybe it feels like an imaginary walk without having to put your shoes on. Maybe your brain just really likes swish, crunch, repeat. Your brain gets to decide what this sound is for.

Binaural Beats No.4 - Gamma Wave Drone with Dancing Light Rain ADHD + ASD
Season 9, Episode 10
Show notes
π§ Inside this Flooba episode...
A slow-moving gamma-wave binaural drone hums steadily underneath light, dancing rain. The drone shifts gradually while tiny water drops patter and move across the soundscape above it, mixing something deep and continuous with something lighter, natural and constantly changing.
π§ This might suit your brain if...
...you like having a steady sound underneath with little details moving around on top. Perhaps your attention settles into the drone, wanders through the raindrops, moves between the two, or eventually stops trying to follow anything at all.
Gamma frequencies come with plenty of claims online, but this sound doesn't need to make your brain do anything in particular. Headphones are needed for the binaural effect, then simply notice what the combination is like for you. Your brain gets to decide what this sound is for.

Flooba's Coconut Ice Noise + Wooden Blocks - Gentle ASMR Clacking
Season 9, Episode 8
Show notes
π§ Inside this Flooba episode...
Flooba's Coconut Ice Noise, a soft fusion of pink + white noise, provides a steady fizzy backdrop while gentle wooden blocks clack, tap and knock together on top. Soft, tactile little wooden sounds appear against the continuous noise, creating a mixture of fizz + click + clack.
π§ This might suit your brain if...
...you like having something steady underneath and tiny sensory details to investigate on top. Perhaps the Coconut Ice Noise becomes your background while your attention follows the wooden clacks, waits for the next little tap, or wanders happily between the two. Maybe the wooden sounds give you ASMR-style tingles. Maybe they're just ridiculously satisfying. Maybe your brain particularly enjoys fizzy noise with little bits of wood bonking together.
All perfectly acceptable. Your brain gets to decide what this sound is for.

Old Wooden Clock Ticking - Steady + Predictable Tick Tock
Season 9, Episode 6
Show notes
π§ Inside this Flooba episode...
An old wooden clock ticking steadily away. Tick, tock. Tick, tock. That's pretty much the whole story. A simple, repetitive and predictable rhythm wrapped in the slightly warm, mechanical character of an old clock.
π§ This might suit your brain if...
...your brain likes knowing exactly what sound is coming next. Perhaps you'll lock onto the rhythm, count the ticks, let your thoughts wander between them, or eventually stop consciously hearing the clock while it keeps ticking away in the background. Maybe it's grounding. Maybe it's satisfying. Maybe you just really, really like tick tock. No deeper explanation required. Your brain gets to decide what this sound is for.
π©β𦳠Counsellor-y Bit! Gentle repetitive ticking encourages nervous system calming (the vagus nerve) and consequently, emotional regulation.

Underwater Echoes + Bubble Sounds - Immersive Ocean Soundscape
Season 9, Episode 5
Show notes
π§ Inside this Flooba episode...
Your brain is going underwater for this one. Deep atmospheric echoes drift through a submerged ocean soundscape while bubbles rise, wobble and disappear somewhere around you. Everything feels spacious, watery and slightly otherworldly, with distant underwater textures appearing and fading into the blue.
π§ This might suit your brain if...
...you fancy disappearing beneath the surface for a while. Maybe your attention follows the bubbles upwards, wanders after a distant echo, explores all the strange watery textures, or simply floats around doing absolutely nothing useful. Perhaps it feels spacious. Perhaps it's satisfyingly weird. Perhaps your brain has decided it would rather be at the bottom of the ocean today.
Fair enough. Your brain gets to decide what this sound is for.
