Football Doesn't Lie
Hall of Fame coach Bill Parcells walks Catherine through the NFL week the way he'd walk a rookie through a game plan: here's what the slate looks like, here's what the tape actually says, and here's why the box score is usually lying to you. Each episode Parcells takes the league's live coaching and front-office calls; the fourth down, the benching, the deadline trade and tells you exactly what he'd have done in that chair, teaching Catherine the reasoning behind every decision as he goes. What she learns pulls the stories out of him, so four decades of sidelines, locker rooms, and draft-room arguments arrive not as war stories but as the lessons that produced them.
