Why Am I Freaking Out?! Part 4 | Before Mom Opens Zillow… with Leigh Young Bonus
Season 5, Episode 4
Show notes
We have officially reached the part where your heart is racing, your brain has opened 17 tabs against your will, and knowing the science behind anxiety is no longer particularly helpful.
Respectfully:
WHAT DO I DO. 😂
We’re wrapping up our four-part anxiety series with Leigh Young, and this time we’re getting PRACTICAL—for girls and the moms who love them.
Leigh is giving us a simple practice for those okay-I’m-actually-freaking-out-right-now moments, what it looks like to bring your body AND your faith into the process, and why the goal isn’t necessarily to make every anxious feeling disappear on command.
And then, moms. Hi. We need to talk.
Because when your daughter says, “Mom, I’m freaking out,” there is a very specific maternal urge to immediately assemble a task force.
We can email someone.
We can call someone.
We can fix the friendship.
We can switch teams.
WE CAN BE ON ZILLOW BY DINNER.Except sometimes she doesn’t need us to make the feeling disappear.
Sometimes she needs to borrow a little of our steady while she finds her own.
We’re talking co-regulation (we promise it sounds more complicated than it is), letting our girls see us handle our own hard moments imperfectly, knowing when anxiety needs more support, and what it can look like to meet an overwhelmed girl without treating her feelings like an emergency.
And after four episodes, we’re ending exactly where we started:
Martha, Martha.
Maybe Jesus gives us a picture here that’s bigger than anxiety.
Not panic.
Not shame.
Not get yourself together and then come back.
Presence. Nearness. Her name.
For the girl who’s anxious.
And the mom who desperately wants to make it better.
This one’s for both of you. 🤍

Why Am I Freaking Out?! Part 3 | Wait… Is My Anxiety a Faith Problem? with Leigh Young Bonus
Season 5, Episode 3
Show notes
Apparently somewhere in Christian girl culture we picked up a few… interesting conclusions.
Anxious? Must not be trusting God.
Still worried after you prayed? Faith issue.
Overwhelmed? Have you considered giving it to God for the 47th time?
Okayyyyy. But what if some of the things we’ve accepted as “biblical” are actually making girls feel like they have to prove their faith by never struggling?
Leigh Young is back for Part 3, and we’re fact-checking some of the most common things Christian girls believe about anxiety.
Does anxiety mean you don’t trust God? Does stronger faith equal fewer anxious feelings? What are we actually supposed to do with verses like “do not be anxious about anything”? And why does the way Jesus responds to an anxious Martha matter so much?
Because Scripture absolutely has something to say about anxiety.
But “be a better Christian and stop feeling it” isn’t it.
This conversation is for the girl who loves Jesus, knows the verses, has prayed the prayers...
and still sometimes freaks out.
Turns out, those things can exist in the same girl.
Let’s talk about it. 🎧

Why Am I Freaking Out?! Part 2 | When Caring Turns Into Carrying with Leigh Young Bonus
Season 5, Episode 2
Show notes
You care about your friends. Your grades. Your family. What people think. Whether everyone's okay. Whether you disappointed someone. Whether you disappointed GOD.
And somehow I care about this became I am personally responsible for making sure absolutely everything turns out okay. 😵💫
Welcome to Episode 2 of Anxiety: Even Christian Girls Feel It, our four-part series with National Certified Counselor and Literally magazine writer Leigh Young about anxiety, overthinking, pressure, faith, and what happens when your brain is carrying approximately 37 things nobody actually asked it to hold.
Because anxiety in teen girls doesn't always start with fear.
Sometimes it starts because you care.
You want to be a good friend. A good daughter. A good student. A good Christian. You don't want to disappoint anyone. You want to do things well. Those are GOOD things.
But somewhere along the way, caring can quietly turn into carrying.
In this episode, Kaase and Leigh talk about perfectionism, people pleasing, friendship anxiety, social pressure, overthinking, fear of disappointing people, anxiety and faith, and those invisible rules we somehow started living by—like everyone needs to be happy with me at all times.
(Spoiler: nobody hired you for that position.)
We're also going back to Martha. Because she wasn't doing something bad—she was literally serving JESUS. So how did something good become so heavy?
And what does “Be still and know that I am God” actually look like when your brain currently has 37 tabs open?
Maybe peace doesn't require you to stop caring.
Maybe Jesus is inviting you to carry less. 💜
🎧 IN THIS EPISODE:
Christian teen anxiety • overthinking • people pleasing • perfectionism • friendship anxiety • social anxiety • pressure on teen girls • fear of disappointing people • anxiety and faith • trusting God • Martha and Jesus • Psalm 46:10 • caring vs. carryingNEXT UP: Maybe I don't have enough faith. Maybe I'm not close enough to God. Maybe a better Christian wouldn't struggle with anxiety.
Ohhhhh, Episode 3.
Respectfully, we're putting those thoughts on trial. 😂

Why Am I Freaking Out?! Part 1 | What Anxiety Actually Is with Leigh Young Bonus
Season 5, Episode 1
Show notes
You love Jesus. You trust God. So… why are you STILL anxious?! 😵💫
Welcome to Episode 1 of Anxiety: Even Christian Girls Feel It, a four-part series with National Certified Counselor and Literally magazine writer Leigh Young about anxiety, overthinking, stress, faith, and what’s actually happening when your brain decides one unanswered text is a five-alarm emergency!
Because sometimes anxiety doesn't look like “I'm anxious.” It looks like replaying a conversation 46 times. Overthinking a text. Feeling sick before youth group. Needing to know what everyone is thinking. Or wondering why your heart is racing when literally NOTHING IS HAPPENING.
And then comes the extra-fun Christian girl spiral: If I really trust God, why can't I just stop being anxious?
Yeah. We're talking about that too.
In this episode, Kaase and Leigh unpack what anxiety actually feels like, why your body can react before your brain even knows what's happening, the difference between anxiety and a lack of faith, and what Martha's story teaches us about the way Jesus meets us when we're worried, distracted, and overwhelmed.
Spoiler: Jesus isn't standing over you disappointed that you couldn't pray harder and calm down.
He meets you there.
If you're a Christian teen girl dealing with anxiety, overthinking, stress, friendship anxiety, social anxiety, pressure, or racing thoughts—this series is for you. 💜
🎧 IN THIS EPISODE:
Anxiety + the nervous system • overthinking • anxiety and faith • Christian girls and mental health • Martha and Jesus • trusting God when you feel anxious • what to do when your brain won't shut offNEXT UP: Why are we carrying SO. MUCH. PRESSURE?! Episode 2 gets into where anxiety and invisible pressure start building—and why you may be carrying way more than you realize.

Sunkissed + Sanctified | Memo 18 (Finale) The Girl You'll Be By Next Summer
Season 4, Episode 18
Show notes
FINAL. SUMMER. VOICE. MEMO! 😭
Wait no because why do I feel like we just collectively survived a spiritually transformative coming-of-age film together??? Like genuinely pause for a second.
Back in June some of you were: overthinking everything, living off validation crumbs, spiritually distracted, emotionally exhausted, confusing attention with love, letting comparison run your whole nervous system, and low-key terrified to be different!
And now??? Look at you!!
Your discernment got sharper.
Your thoughts got healthier.
Your standards got stronger.
Your relationship with God got deeper.
Your brain actually learned how to pause before spiraling.THIS was an intellectual summer. Not just an emotional one.
You didn’t just feel inspired for a few weeks. You learned how to think differently. See differently. Discern differently. Live differently. And honestly? That changes EVERYTHING! Am I right?!
Because the version of you walking into this school year is not the same girl who started this podcast in June.
Not even close!!
This finale is all about the girl you’ll be by NEXT summer.
The future you who kept choosing wisdom in October.
Who kept protecting her peace in January.
Who didn’t fold every time culture got loud.
Who stayed rooted when everybody else was losing themselves trying to fit in.
Philippians 1:6 completely anchors this episode as we talk about the fact that God is NOT halfway done with you.
Not even remotely.
The girl you’re becoming one year from now?
She’s going to think differently.
Carry herself differently.
Handle pressure differently.
Love people differently.
Lead differently.Because transformation isn’t a two-month aesthetic. It’s a lifelong process. And this season? This was just the foundation.
Also your final Summer Move is genuinely so special.
You’re writing a letter to your June 2027 self. Not the filtered version. The honest version!
What you learned.
What you survived.
What you refuse to go back to.
What kind of girl you’re becoming. Then you seal it up and don’t open it until next summer!!
Cue the back-to-school Target runs. The fresh notebooks. The slightly terrifying alarm clocks returning.
But listen carefully: you are not walking into this year empty-handed. You’re walking in sharper. Wiser. More grounded. More discerning. More sanctified.
And Heaven is nowhere near finished with you yet! Don't go far... Season 5 is brewing bestie!

Sunkissed + Sanctified | Memo 17 Who Are You Becoming?
Season 4, Episode 17
Show notes
Okay wait. Do you realize summer is almost OVER???
Like actually over. As in: the “just one more lake day” phase, the watermelon-and-worship-playlist era, the staying-up-way-too-late talking to God in your room era…
BABES WE WERE JUST IN JUNE!!! 😭
And honestly? Before you sprint into back-to-school mode pretending to be emotionally fine, this episode asks one giant question:
Who are you becoming?
Not what aesthetic are you becoming.
Not what vibe.
Not what version of yourself gets the most attention online.Like genuinely: Who is your soul becoming when nobody’s looking?
Because if you really stop and think about it… you are NOT the same girl from the beginning of summer.
Your reactions changed.
Your standards changed.
Your thought life changed.
The way you recover after hard days changed.Even the things that bother you now are different.
And that matters.
This conversation feels like sitting on the floor of your room at golden hour realizing: “Wait… God actually did something in me this summer.”
Not overnight.
Not perfectly.
But deeply.2 Corinthians 3:18 becomes the heartbeat of this episode as we talk about spiritual transformation, holy glow-ups, and how becoming more like Jesus is less about performing harder and more about slowly reflecting Him more naturally over time.
Because real growth is weirdly quiet at first. Until one day you realize: the old version of you wouldn’t have handled life this way. OOF. And honestly? Some girls are so focused on whether they LOOK different that they never notice their heart is becoming stronger, steadier, softer, wiser, calmer, and more rooted.
That’s the real glow-up!!!
Also this week’s Summer Move is a full “transformation audit.”
You’re sitting down and actually noticing the ways God changed you this summer instead of rushing past them like they don’t matter.
Which is low-key emotional because suddenly you realize:
God was moving the whole time.Last iced coffee runs of the summer. Backpack era approaching. August air hitting different. And it is time to meet the version of yourself God’s been growing all along!!!

Sunkissed + Sanctified | Memo 16 The Power of a Girl Who Knows God
Season 4, Episode 16
Show notes
I need everybody to stop acting like “being chill” is the highest form of human achievement 😭 Because why do girls walk into a new school year like:
“Hopefully nobody notices I changed.”
“Hopefully nobody realizes I actually care about God now.”
“Hopefully I can stay spiritually evolved without making anybody uncomfortable.”BABES???
You did not spend an entire summer growing, healing, praying, rebuilding your confidence, and getting closer to God just to show up in August pretending to be the old version of yourself again.
This conversation is ALL about spiritual confidence.
Not fake confidence.
Not loud confidence.
Not “main character” ego energy. The kind of confidence that happens when a girl actually KNOWS who she belongs to. Because there’s a massive difference between: a girl who knows about God… and a girl who actually knows Him.
One falls apart every time somebody unfollows her.
The other walks into the room already grounded. And honestly? School culture trains girls to become thermometers.
Everybody just absorbing the mood of the room.
Matching the gossip level.
Matching the insecurity level.
Matching the drama level.Meanwhile God is out here looking for thermostats 😭
Girls who walk into spaces and SHIFT the atmosphere instead of copying it.
Girls who stay kind when everybody else gets mean.
Girls who stay grounded when everybody else gets fake.
Girls who stop hiding their faith like it’s an embarrassing personality trait.Daniel 11:32 completely takes over this episode: “The people who KNOW their God shall be strong and do great exploits.” Not the people who know church slang. Not the people who repost Bible verses sometimes. The people who KNOW Him.
And Matthew 5 basically follows it up with: “Why are you hiding your light under a bowl, sweetie?” This episode is your reminder that your growth was never supposed to stay trapped in summer camp mode.
The peace you found?
Bring it with you.The boldness you built?
Bring it with you.The version of yourself God’s been growing all summer?
Bring HER with you too.No shrinking.
No camouflage.
No pretending to be less transformed than you actually are.Back-to-school fit planned. Backpack ready. Spirit locked in. It's time to walk into this year like Heaven actually sent you there on purpose!

I Read the Podcast Reviews... Here's What God Taught Me Bonus
Season 4
Show notes
What does faithful stewardship actually look like in a world full of new technology, new tools, and endless opinions? What if we've been debating AI... while completely missing the biblical conversation we should be having instead?
These are the questions I've been wrestling with lately.
After reading a handful of podcast reviews that questioned not just my use of AI, but the heart of this ministry, I found myself praying about something much bigger than artificial intelligence.
Because maybe we've accidentally started asking the wrong question.
This episode isn't about convincing you to use AI.
It's about asking what it actually means to faithfully steward every tool, every gift, every opportunity, every influence, and every hour God has entrusted to us.
What makes a message genuine?
What makes a ministry faithful?
Is it the tools we use...
...or the God we're surrendered to?
Whether you're a creator, a student, a mom, a business owner, or simply someone trying to follow Jesus in a rapidly changing world, I hope this conversation shifts your focus away from debating technology and toward examining your own stewardship.
Because one day, I don't think we'll stand before Jesus and explain what tools we did—or didn't—use.
I think we'll answer a much more important question:
Were we faithful with what He entrusted to us?

Sunkissed + Sanctified | Memo 15 Protecting the Progress: The Courage to be Different
Season 4, Episode 15
Show notes
The “Back to School” aisle is spiritually humbling me this year 😭 Because why does seeing mechanical pencils and color-coded folders suddenly feel like the end of a beautiful little personal growth documentary?
Like excuse me??? I JUST became emotionally stable.
This summer you healed a little.
Prayed more.
Started liking who you are again.
Maybe you got closer to God.
Maybe you finally stopped needing everybody’s approval every five seconds. And now suddenly the school year is looming like:
“Okayyy, but are you gonna keep any of that… orrrr?”
YEAH. This conversation gets SO real.
Because there’s a very specific feeling that happens when you walk back into familiar hallways after changing over the summer.
You see the same people.
The same dynamics.
The same pressure. And all of a sudden you can physically FEEL the old version of yourself trying to put her shoes back on.
The people-pleasing version.
The quieter version.
The version that laughed along just to fit in.
The version that shrank herself so nobody would call her “too much,” “too Christian,” or “too different.”Meanwhile God is like: “Sis… why are you trying to resurrect a version of yourself I already healed?” Blah!
This episode dives into the pressure to camouflage your growth the second school starts again and why protecting your progress actually takes courage.
Because let’s be honest: it’s easy to grow in safe spaces. It’s way harder to stay transformed when everybody around you expects the old you back.
And Romans 12:2 absolutely carries this conversation on its BACK.
Because the world WILL try to pour you into its mold.
Same insecurity.
Same gossip.
Same comparison.
Same obsession with clout and fitting in.But maybe your difference isn’t the problem. Maybe it’s the assignment.
Also this week’s Summer Move? Actually powerful. You’re choosing your “anchor habits” before school starts — the things that keep you grounded when life gets loud again.
And you’re deciding ONE thing you refuse to camouflage this year.
One conviction.
One standard.
One part of your growth that is staying with you no matter who’s watching.Backpack packed. Iced coffee secured. New era loading. You are not going backward this year, babe. Not even a little bit!

ADHD Convos Part 4 | I'm Trying... I Promise: ADHD, School & Why Learning Can Feel So Hard Bonus
Season 4
Show notes
Ever opened your backpack and found three missing assignments, two granola bars, seventeen hair ties... and absolutely nothing you actually needed for class?
Welcome to the final episode of our ADHD series with licensed Christian counselor Catherine Scholz!
Today we're talking about one of the biggest places ADHD can show up for teen girls: school. And spoiler alert... it's about so much more than forgetting homework or getting distracted during math class.
We're unpacking why starting assignments can feel impossible, why organization sometimes lasts about six whole hours, how executive functioning impacts everyday school life, and practical strategies that can help girls feel more confident instead of constantly overwhelmed.
We'll also tackle comparison, perfectionism, grades, and the lie that struggling in school somehow means you're not smart enough. (Spoiler: it doesn't.)
Whether you've been diagnosed with ADHD, you're exploring these challenges with your family, or you simply want to better understand someone you love, this conversation is filled with practical tools, biblical encouragement, and so much hope.
As we wrap up this four-part series, we hope you leave knowing this: understanding how your brain works isn't about putting yourself in a box—it's about discovering new ways to grow, thrive, and walk confidently with the God who created you. Your grades don't determine your value. Your planner doesn't determine your purpose. And your struggles will never be bigger than God's plans for your life.
So grab your favorite drink, take a deep breath, and join us for one last conversation that's honest, encouraging, and full of reminders that you're capable of more than you think.
💛 Interested in a faith-based ADHD group just for teen girls? Catherine is prayerfully exploring a virtual group where girls can learn practical tools, grow in their faith, and connect with others who simply "get it." If you'd like to hear more if the group moves forward, we'd love for you to join the interest list below. There's absolutely no commitment—just a way for us to see if God is leading us in this direction.
👉 Join the Interest List Here: https://forms.gle/bigr8JHJpq1pPGPeA
Note: Due to licensing requirements, Catherine is currently only able to provide counseling services to those living in Colorado, North Carolina, or outside the United States.

Sunkissed + Sanctified | Memo 14 When God Feels Quiet
Season 4, Episode 14
Show notes
Can we talk about the fact that nobody warns girls about the “God feels quiet” phase? 😭 Everybody loves posting about: the breakthrough, the answered prayer, the worship camp cry session, the “God showed up in SUCH a crazy way” stories.
But almost nobody talks about the random Tuesday afternoons where you’re praying, reading your Bible, trying your best… and honestly?
It kinda feels like Heaven left you on read.
That feeling can seriously mess with your head!!
Because what do you do when your faith suddenly feels quiet? Not dead. Not gone. Just… quiet.
No dramatic spiritual moment. No overwhelming feelings. No “sign.”
Just silence.
And if we’re honest, silence makes a lot of girls panic.
Like:
“Wait. Did I mess something up?”
“Why can’t I feel God lately?”
“Why does everybody else seem spiritually on fire while I feel spiritually beige?”This conversation gets painfully real about the fact that modern girls have accidentally been trained to treat emotional highs as proof God is near.
Meanwhile some of the deepest spiritual growth happens in seasons that feel completely ordinary.
Like roots underground.
No applause.
No fireworks.
No cinematic soundtrack.
Just quiet trust.Psalm 13 fully enters the chat as David basically has a full:
“HELLO??? ARE YOU THERE???” moment with God……and honestly?
Relatable. 😭But what’s powerful is that David doesn’t fake positivity. He wrestles honestly AND stays rooted.
This episode unpacks why silence does NOT mean abandonment, why God’s quiet seasons often build the strongest faith, and why maturity is learning to trust God’s character even when your feelings are being wildly dramatic.
Because faith that only survives when everything feels exciting?
That’s not really faith.
That’s spiritual dopamine.OOF!!!
Also this week’s Summer Move is called: “The Record Check.” You’re writing down moments where God HAS shown up before so your anxious little brain stops acting like He vanished forever after one emotionally confusing week.
Tea in hand. Window open. Sunset outside.
Time to talk about the kind of faith that survives the silence!!

Okay Fine... Here's The Tea On The Salty Experience | Adriane & Kaase Answer All Your Q's Bonus
Show notes
Okay fine... here's the tea. ☕ What even IS The Salty Experience?
A conference?
A girls' weekend?
A giant sleepover?
A faith event?
A mother-daughter retreat?
A weekend full of friendship bracelets, deep conversations, worship, laughter, and probably at least a few happy tears?
Honestly? It's a little bit of all of it!! But here's why we're so passionate about it... Because girls don't wake up on their 16th birthday suddenly wondering if they're enough. Those questions start way earlier.
At 11.
At 12.
At 13.
At 14.
These are some of the most impressionable, identity-shaping, confidence-building years of a girl's life. They're the years when girls start deciding who they are, where they belong, what makes them valuable, whose opinions matter, and what voices they're going to trust.
And if we're being honest?
Culture isn't waiting to influence them. Social media isn't waiting. Comparison isn't waiting. Insecurity isn't waiting.
So we're not waiting either.
In this episode, Adriane and I are spilling everything about The Salty Experience—the high-energy, faith-filled weekend created specifically for girls ages 11–14 and the moms who love them.
We're talking about:
💗 Why these years matter so much
✨ What girls can actually expect all weekend long
👯 Friendship drama, confidence struggles, identity, faith, and navigating a world that's constantly trying to tell girls who they should be
🙌 Why moms aren't just invited—they're part of the experience
📖 The heartbeat behind the movement
🎤 What makes this weekend completely different from every other conference you've seenBecause girls don't need more pressure to be prettier, cooler, funnier, smarter, or more impressive. They need a place to belong. A place to ask questions. A place to laugh until their stomach hurts. A place to build friendships that go deeper than a group chat. A place to discover who God says they are before the world convinces them otherwise.
And moms? You were never meant to navigate these years alone.
You deserve encouragement, connection, practical tools, and the confidence to keep showing up in one of the most important seasons of your daughter's life. So whether you're a girl wondering what all the hype is about or a mom trying to decide if this weekend is worth the calendar space...
Pull up a chair.
We're sharing the vision, the mission, the heart, and all the behind-the-scenes details. Because this isn't just another conference.
It's a movement.
One built on the belief that if we reach girls early, anchor them deeply, and send them empowered... everything changes!! 💗

Sunkissed + Sanctified | Memo 13 Learning to Discern the Noise
Season 4, Episode 13
Show notes
I genuinely think some of us have not experienced a single fully quiet moment since, like… 2021. 😭 No because why is there ALWAYS something playing?
Music.
TikTok.
A podcast.
The group chat.
A YouTube video while getting ready.
Scrolling while watching Netflix while texting while emotionally spiraling while reheating mozzarella sticks.Meanwhile your brain sounds like Times Square.
And then we wonder why hearing God feels “hard.”
This conversation gets DEEP into discernment. Not in a weird spooky “I saw a sign” way. In a: “Can you actually tell the difference between God’s voice and the internet’s voice anymore?” kind of way.
Because everybody is talking right now. Influencers. Friends. Trends. Algorithms. Your anxiety. Your insecurity. That one random girl on YouTube suddenly giving life advice in a hoodie!!
And after a while, you stop knowing what’s actually TRUE versus what’s just loud.
This episode unpacks why discernment is basically spiritual noise-canceling headphones for your soul!
Because not every voice deserves access to you.
Not every opinion deserves emotional authority over your life.
And not every “good vibe” is actually wisdom.
Meanwhile John 10 quietly enters the chat like: “My sheep know My voice.” KNOW IT. Not guess it. Not panic over it. Not crowdsource it from fifteen different people first.
And honestly? Some girls are so overstimulated they haven’t heard their own thoughts clearly in months, let alone God’s voice 😭
So this week’s Summer Move is low-key terrifying: thirty minutes of silence. I KNOW, SIS!
No scrolling.
No music.
No background noise.
Just you and God.Which, for some of you, may feel like a medically concerning experience at first.
But maybe the reason God feels distant isn’t because He stopped speaking.
Maybe your life just got too loud to hear Him.
AirPods in. Phone flipped over. Matcha secured. Time to lower the volume on the world for a second!!! Let's go all in QUEEN!

ADHD Convos Part 3 | Why Does Everyone Think I'm Mad?: ADHD, Misunderstandings & Learning to Communicate Bonus
Season 4
Show notes
Ever feel like one tiny conversation somehow turns into a full-on family meeting... complete with tears, raised voices, and everyone wondering, "Wait... how did we even get here?" 😅
In Episode 3 of our ADHD series, licensed Christian counselor Catherine Scholz is helping us unpack something almost every girl experiences at some point: relationships can be complicated. And for girls with ADHD, everyday conversations with parents, siblings, teachers, coaches, and friends can sometimes feel even harder to navigate.
We're talking about why misunderstandings happen, why good intentions don't always come across the way we hoped, how ADHD can impact communication, and practical ways to build healthier, stronger relationships without pretending to be someone you're not.
If you've ever walked away from a conversation thinking, "That's not what I meant..." or "Why does everyone think I'm upset?"—you're definitely not alone.
Most importantly, we're reminding you that one awkward conversation, one misunderstanding, or one hard day doesn't define who you are. Your mistakes are not your identity. Jesus is. And His grace gives us room to grow, apologize, forgive, and keep becoming more like Him.
So grab your headphones, take a deep breath, and join us for a conversation full of practical wisdom, biblical encouragement, and the reminder that healthy relationships aren't built by perfect people—they're built by people who keep choosing grace.

Sunkissed + Sanctified | Memo 12 Hidden Seasons Are Not Wasted Seasons
Season 4, Episode 12
Show notes
Currently thinking about how some of the most important things in life look absolutely unimpressive while they’re happening. Like imagine digging up a flower every three days screaming: “WHY AREN’T YOU BLOOMING YET??”
Meanwhile the roots are literally trying their best!! 😭
Episode 12 is for the girls who feel like everybody else got the cinematic summer… while they somehow got assigned: errands, quietness, character development, and suspicious amounts of alone time!
You’re watching everybody else post lake days and perfect friend groups while your biggest accomplishment this week was emotionally surviving Hobby Lobby with your family.
And honestly? The internet has done a NUMBER on girls when it comes to hidden seasons.
Because if nobody sees it, we assume it doesn’t matter.
If nobody claps for it, we assume it isn’t valuable.
If it’s quiet, we assume God must not be doing anything.Meanwhile Heaven is like: “Baby girl… roots grow underground.”
This episode is one giant reminder that your life is not “on pause” just because it isn’t flashy right now.
Your quiet summer matters.
Your hidden growth matters.
The prayers nobody hears matter.
The discipline nobody notices matters.
The way you’re learning to become someone solid when nobody’s watching?
THAT matters.Luke 16 completely takes over this conversation as we talk about how God pays attention to what girls do with the small things long before He hands them bigger things.
Because some of the girls begging for influence can’t even stay faithful in hiddenness for one Tuesday afternoon without spiraling 😭
And listen: being unseen is uncomfortable. But sometimes hidden seasons are actually protection, preparation, and root-building all at once.
Also this week’s Summer Move is low-key beautiful. You’re doing something meaningful this week that absolutely nobody else gets credit for seeing.
No audience.
No validation.
No proof.Just you and God. And honestly sis, that kind of quiet faith is rare now!
Press play, little wildflower.

Sunkissed + Sanctified | Memo 11 You're Not "Too Young" For God to Use You
Season 4, Episode 11
Show notes
Can we PLEASE retire the idea that teenage girls are just “future Christians” ☀️ Like excuse me??? Why does culture act like girls can be spiritually influential enough to start trends, shape group chats, influence entire friend groups, and accidentally make Stanley cups sell out nationwide…
…but somehow TOO young for God to use powerfully?
Absolutely not.
Episode 11 is for the girls who secretly feel like they have to wait until they’re older, wiser, more qualified, more polished, more confident, or more “together” before God can actually move through them. Meanwhile Heaven is literally like: “Girl I put you in THIS generation on purpose.”
WHEWWWW. This episode is all about Kingdom Authority.
Not “someday” authority.
Not “when I’m an adult” authority.NOW authority.
Because the biggest scam ever sold to Christian teens is the idea that they’re just sitting on the sidelines until real ministry starts later.
No babes.
You are not the church of tomorrow.
You are the church TODAY.And honestly? Some of the boldest, wisest, most spiritually awake girls I know are teenagers.
This conversation gets into why your age is not a weakness, why God LOVES using overlooked people, and why your school, your friend group, your sports team, your comments section, and your everyday life are all places God can move through you right now.
Not after college. Not after you magically become fearless. Now.
And when 1 Timothy 4 enters??? OH IT ENTERS.
Because Paul basically tells Timothy: “Stop letting people underestimate you and START setting the standard.”
HELLO??? This episode might spiritually tackle every girl who’s been playing small because she thinks being young means being ineffective.
Also this week’s Summer Move? You’re doing one thing that feels “beyond your age.”
Something bold. Something mature. Something that requires courage instead of comfort. Basically: we are exiting our “just a teenage girl” era immediately 😭
Queue this up... God is not waiting for you to grow up before He uses your life.

ADHD Convos Part 2 | Why Are Friendships So Hard Sometimes? Bonus
Season 4
Show notes
Girl friendships are amazing... until they're confusing. 😅
One minute you're sending each other voice memos, making matching playlists, and planning to be best friends forever... and the next you're wondering, "Wait... did I do something wrong?"
In Episode 2 of our ADHD series, licensed Christian counselor Catherine Scholz joins us for an honest conversation about why friendships can sometimes feel especially complicated for girls with ADHD.
We're talking about the misunderstandings that happen even when your heart is in the right place, why some girls feel like they're always "too much" or "not enough," how ADHD can quietly impact communication, and what healthy, grace-filled friendships can actually look like.
Whether you've been diagnosed with ADHD, you're wondering if some of these struggles sound familiar, or you're simply trying to become a better friend, this episode is packed with practical encouragement, biblical truth, and so many "Wait... that's me!" moments.
Most importantly, we're reminding every girl of this: you don't have to become someone else to be deeply loved. God isn't asking you to be the perfect friend—He's inviting you to become more like Jesus. And that's the kind of friendship that changes everything.
So grab your favorite snack, text your bestie back if you've been meaning to 😉, and join us for a conversation that's honest, hope-filled, and might just help you understand yourself—and your friendships—a whole lot better.

Sunkissed + Sanctified | Memo 10 When You Want Attention More Than Truth
Season 4, Episode 10
Show notes
Emergency meeting for the girls whose mood has ever been determined by one notification. Because why does one person viewing your story suddenly feel like a government-level emotional event? Be SO serious.
You were literally thriving. Playlist on. Outfit cute. Lip gloss glossing. Then one tiny thing happens: he leaves you on seen, nobody replies to the selfie, your post flops, or the one person you wanted attention from goes mysteriously silent…
…and suddenly your confidence packs a suitcase and leaves the country.
YEAH. Episode 10 is a little too good.
Because we’re talking about the very specific type of brain rot where girls start confusing being noticed with being valued.
And whewwww summer makes this WORSE.
Everybody’s outside. Everybody’s posting. Everybody’s trying to look effortless while secretly hoping someone specific is watching. It’s like one giant sparkly little competition for validation and nobody even realizes they entered 😭
This episode gets DEEP about why attention feels so addictive, why validation fades in like twelve seconds flat, and why girls who constantly need to be perceived eventually forget how to just… exist.
Like imagine having such a peaceful sense of identity that a dry text doesn’t spiritually rearrange your whole evening.
REVOLUTIONARY.
Meanwhile Proverbs 4 walks into this episode like: “Sweet girl. Guard your heart before the internet turns it into a vending machine.”
Because if attention becomes your source, eventually you’ll start shaping your entire personality around getting more of it. More noticed. More wanted. More chosen. More desired. More seen.
But here’s the problem:
attention can look a LOT like love at first.Until you realize people can admire your face while having zero access to your soul!!
Also this week’s Summer Move is actually elite. You’re doing something beautiful this week and keeping it COMPLETELY private. No posting. No baiting. No “accidentally” making sure people know. Just you, God, and the quiet confidence of not needing an audience for every meaningful moment.
Queue this up... your worth was never supposed to rise and fall based on who’s watching!!

Sunkissed + Sanctified | Memo 09 Summer Temptation is Real
Season 4, Episode 9
Show notes
Summer is honestly one giant social experiment in seeing how fast girls can become spiritually nocturnal. ☀️ Like why does July hit and suddenly: bedtimes vanish, convictions get blurry, screen time becomes medically alarming, and everybody starts saying: “It’s fiiiiine, I’m just living my life.”
Meanwhile your spiritual life is in the corner surviving off one worship song and half a Bible verse from three Tuesdays ago.
Episode 9 is for the girls realizing: “Wait… I think I’ve been drifting.”
Not dramatically.
Not rebelliously.
Just… slowly.Because nobody plans to wake up disconnected from God. It usually starts with boredom.
Late nights.
One compromise.
One “harmless” habit.
One tiny little “yes” that keeps multiplying. And whew. This episode gets REAL about the fact that temptation rarely looks dangerous at first! Usually it just looks fun. Easy. Comforting. Distracting.
Meanwhile 1 Peter 5:8 is basically standing there with a whistle like: “BABES. EYES OPEN.” 😭
We talk about spiritual sleepiness, summer drift, why your guard gets lower when your schedule disappears, and how the enemy LOVES distracted girls because distracted girls stop noticing they’re drifting.
Also? This conversation may deeply expose every girl whose worst decisions happen after 11p.m. with a charged phone and “just one more scroll” energy.
And no — this isn’t a “you can’t have fun” episode.
It’s a: “Your soul still matters in July” episode.
This week’s Summer Move is identifying your personal drift zone before it keeps quietly pulling you farther than you meant to go.
Press play, little firecracker 💛 You’re too valuable to sleepwalk through your own becoming!!!

The ADHD Conversations Every Teen Girl Needs Part 1 | Wait... Is My Brain Broken? Bonus
Season 4
Show notes
Ever feel like your brain has 47 tabs open... and somehow they're all playing music? 😂
One minute you're walking upstairs to grab your water bottle... the next you're reorganizing your bookshelf, remembering you never texted your friend back, wondering what's for dinner, and somehow ending up on a completely different mission. Sound familiar?
Welcome to Episode 1 of our brand-new ADHD 4-part series with licensed Christian counselor Catherine Scholz!
Before we dive in, let's clear something up: this episode is not here to diagnose you. TikTok isn't your doctor. Instagram reels aren't your counselor. And just because you lose your homework sometimes or your room looks like a tiny tornado rolled through doesn't automatically mean you have ADHD.
In this conversation, we're unpacking what ADHD actually is, why it often looks completely different in girls than it does in boys, why so many girls go unnoticed for years, and how to recognize when it's time to have a conversation with a parent or trusted adult instead of letting social media decide your story.
Whether you've already been diagnosed, someone you love has ADHD, or you've simply found yourself wondering, "Wait... why does my brain work like this?"—this episode is for you.
Most importantly, we want you to leave with this truth: your brain may explain some of your experiences, but it never determines your worth. A diagnosis isn't your identity. Jesus is.
So grab your favorite iced coffee (or Dr Pepper), settle in, and join us for a conversation that's honest, encouraging, full of practical wisdom... and hopefully reminds you that you're never walking through this alone.
