ABOUT: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 3 EPISODE 2)

Christopher has a heated discussion with Lorelai, but Emily intervenes. Francie initiates a power struggle on the student council. Meanwhile Rory and Jess have it out about their hurt feelings. Kirk asks someone out.

AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 3 EPISODE 2)

BRAN’S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 3 EPISODE 2) SYNOPSIS

It’s Friday night dinner and Lorelai is clearly annoyed to be there. Rory tries to facilitate a conversation and it doesn’t go well.

The next day, they’re at Luke’s. Jess’ new boo thang walks in and they kiss hard again.

Apparently there’s a mouse at the inn. Kirk shows up and is surprisingly not the exterminator. Instead, he asks Lorelai out for dinner in 2 weeks.

It’s time for the first day of senior year. Rory invites her mom to see her speech after school as she’s sworn into student government and tells her that Emily is going to be there. Afterwards, Emily asks Lorelai if they can get lunch just the two of them.

The next day, a girl named Francine pulls Rory into the bathroom and tells her that Paris isn’t actually in charge. She’s the senior class president and the leader of the Puffs. She’s going to do what she wants, which starts with higher hemlines, OR ELSE!

Emily shows up at Luke’s for lunch. She insists there’s no hidden agenda. Then immediately goes right into how she called Christopher and she knows that he’s not in love with that woman and she implores Lorelai to call him and tell him that she wants him.

At the next student body government meeting, Rory pushes for the hemline thing that Francine wants. Paris goes for it.

It’s time for Friday dinner and the energy between Emily and her new maid is weird. Apparently Richard gave Emily a hard time about not being able to keep a maid so she’s committed. Christopher ends up showing up. He’s like you won’t return my phone calls and I knew you’d be there. It turns into a big thing where Rory tells him that he just needs to go and be someone else’s dad. Emily hears all of this go on and tells Christopher it’s time for him to go.

When they get back into town, Kirk stops Lorelai to ask if she’s allergic to tuna. She tells him that she can’t go out to dinner with him. While Rory is in Dosey’s, Jess is there. They finally talk. She asks him if anything interesting happened this weekend. He says her name is Shane. She’s like well it threw me off! He’s like well you didn’t reach out all summer. And you’re still with Dean.

BRAN’S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 3 EPISODE 1) SYNOPSIS

Lorelai wakes up to the sounds of a TONNNN of alarm clocks. She yells down "you are hilarious!" When she comes down, Luke is down there making breakfast. Why is he at her house making breakfast? THEY KISS! AND SHE'S PREGNANT WITH TWINS! Except womp womp it's a dream. She wakes up and immediately grabs the phone to call Rory and asks her to please come home. She tells her all about her dream. Rory is like oh clearly you're in love with him and want to have his babies. Lorelai is like nope try again. Rory is like ok maybe you're upset about dad and the fact that he's having a baby with another woman. They're talking on the phone because Rory is still in DC but she comes home on Friday. She wakes up and we see that Dean has written her a ton of letters. But she's not writing Dean a letter, she's writing Jess!

Later, Lorelai is over at Sookie & Jackson's. She wants to paint the house but Jackson isn't having it.

Taylor is in a wheelchair thanks to someone leaving a banana on his front porch. The town is busy decorating for the end of summer madness festival and Taylor is PUMPED!!!! Lorelai walks by Luke's and just looks at him and then keeps walking.

Back in DC, we meet a dude named Jamie who is all chummy with Rory & Paris. He wants to get dinner with Paris to "prep" for the debate. Rory is like he just asked you out on a date! Paris wasn't aware and starts freaking out!!!

Meanwhile at the inn, Kirk is there trying to sell his hay skincare product. Lorelai gets a call from her mom and she's upset that Lorelai didn't call her to welcome them home from the vineyard.

Rory is on the phone with Dean. He's very excited to see her. She has to hang up cuz Paris is FREAKING out. After she leaves, Rory gets right back to writing Jess a letter.

So Lorelai hasn't told her parents about Christopher and Emily really wants him to come to dinner.

She goes to pick up Rory from the airport and it's big excitement! She tells her that she got her out of Friday night dinner so that she can hang out with Dean. She doesn't seem thrilled for some reason.

Rory comes home and immediately changes into a dress for some reason. When they make it to the summer festival, she sees Jess making out with a girl and she gets a bit upset much to Lorelai's surprise. Rory tells her about the kiss. Lorelai encourages her to figure out what the heck she wants because she's now officially treating Dean like dirt. Naturally, Dean walks up and Rory kisses him.

Lorelai makes it to her parents' and is struggling to tell them about Christopher. She finally does and it doesn't go well and leads to Emily & Richard arguing and Lorelai ducks out.

She makes it back to Stars Hollow and goes to talk to Luke. Apparently they're actually still mad at each other. That doesn't stop her from opening up to him about Christopher. He slides her down a donut.

When Lorelai gets home, Rory is already there. They make up and talk. She wants to stay with Dean.

Lorelai has a conversation with Luke and it's clear she's still mad at him but he insists everything is fine.

At Chilton, Paris is running for president. Early polling shows that no one wants to vote for Paris because everyone knows she's Paris. Paris sees Rory and hatches an idea - invite Rory to be her VP. She says no until she hears Harvard would like that. So Rory says yes.

It's time to get Rory's cast off! Christopher shows up last second! He wouldn't miss this for the world and he agrees to stay in town for the day and go to Sookie & Jackson's pre-wedding party. After the party, Christopher & Lorelai talk. She explains things are going super great with Sherry. HMMMM INTERESTING. She agrees to go to the wedding with him the next day.

Naturally, the next day, they're on the couch and they just end up kisssingggg BIG ONESSSSS. Luckily, he has a room upstairs.

Afterwards, she comes downstairs and finds Sookie in her wedding dress, spiraling about her wedding cake. To calm her down, she tells Sookie that she slept with Christopher. That'll do it.

She gets back up to the room and they talk about what the heck just happened. They agree to just try to give them a shot and see what happens.

Luke is shocked to find Jess in the apartment. He's like what are you doing here? Jess tells Luke he wants to come back. Luke says ok but it's gonna have to be different. Then Luke says Rory and Dean are doing really well. Just leave it alone.

Rory gets a call from Paris. They won & they're gonna spend the summer in Washington.

Christopher goes on a little walk with Rory and tells her the good news. She then sees Jess. He says he's back and she kisses him and then runs away!

Christopher then finds Lorelai and says he has to go. HE JUST FOUND OUT SHERRY WAS PREGNANT! He can't not be around for another kid. She says congrats.

It's finally wedding time and Rory tells Lorelai she's probably going to Washington.

CAST & CREW OF: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 20)

    • Lauren Graham as Lorelai Gilmore
    • Alexis Bledel as Rory Gilmore

BRAN’S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 20) SYNOPSIS

Lorelai and Rory show up at the diner but Luke is nowhere to be found. They head to the Hungry Diner. The type of diner that Michel goes to.

Lorelai heads to her parents' house and finds out that Richard started his own company - it's an insurance consulting firm. He comes out of his office mad that his assistant from the old firm turned down Richard's offer to join his company. He's not sure what to do. He's like maybe I should just shut it down. Lorelai is like whoa that seems premature. Just hire a new assistant. Lorelai agrees to help him get his office set up and find a new assistant.

Dean gets home and Rory hands him a letter outlining exactly what happened. He's not thrilled but is relieved to hear that Jess left town and invites her in for dinner...not the reaction Rory was expecting. When she tells her mom, she's like he loves you, just be happy.

She goes to Richard's office and it's a mess. She takes the first call and realizes that he needs pens, so off to the office store they go.

Rory is hanging out with Lane and they see a new music store is opening up. Lane comes back when it's open and gravitates towards the drums, something her mom would NEVER approve of.

Richard is getting pretty comfortable having Lorelai around as his assistant so when they start interviewing perfectly capable candidates, no one can live up to Lorelai. She's like I can't do this - I have a job. This hurts his feelings and he tells her to scram.

Rory is getting annoyed that everyone in town blames the crash on Jess, giving her a pass.

It's time for an office opening party for Richard. Lorelai shows up and she sees that he finally hired someone. They talk business and Lorelai seems proud of her dad. Emily sees the cast and freaks out. Lorelai blames Jess and Emily pulls Lorelai out into the hallway and they argue. Lorelai says she gets to hate Jess for the rest of her life. They agree to disagree.

Lane convinces the music store owner to let her practice there a couple nights a week.

Rory is walking around town and sees that Luke is back. She goes in to drink some coffee. They talk about Jess and she tells Luke that it wasn't his fault.

    • Alexis Bledel as Rory Gilmore

BRAN’S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 19) SYNOPSIS

Lorelai and Rory are at Doose’s, commenting on the new bagger. They go to check out, and Taylor invites them to the movie in the park. Lorelai wants to know what movie they’re picking, but he refuses to answer.

It finally comes out that the movie is going to be The Yearling for the fourth straight time. Taylor is fed up with Lorelai complaining and says she can just pick the movie.

They head home and begin talking through movie options, but they can’t decide!

Meanwhile, Lane is in class taking a test when Jess sneaks in late while the teacher isn’t looking. He asks Lane for a pen—not to take the test, but to make notes in his book.

Luke ends up getting a call to come to the principal’s office. Jess is a problem. He’s doing absolutely no work, he’s not nice to his teachers, and baseballs are going missing. The principal says he has to hire Rory a tutor. She needs serious help.

Later, at Luke’s, Taylor comes in with a binder full of movie titles they can pick from. Apparently, these come from a company that gives Taylor a good deal. The movies are all really obscure.

Luke goes to talk to Jess, and Jess makes it clear that he doesn’t care about school. So Luke goes to talk to Lorelai and brings her brownies. He asks to talk to Rory and asks if she’d be willing to tutor Jess.

    She agrees.

Lorelai is not so sure about that.

Kirk shows up at the diner and pitches Lorelai on showing her the short film he’s been working on. She is PUMPED to watch it!

Rory goes to help Jess and asks Lorelai not to tell Dean if he calls. Lorelai is not thrilled with that, but Rory insists they’re just going to study.

Jess wants to do everything BUT study. He says, "Let’s go get ice cream, and then I’ll study."

    So they take her car.

On the way back, they talk about their dreams for their lives. Jess wants to work when he needs money and just do his own thing. Rory wants to go to Harvard and then become a journalist.

Jess says, "We could go back to Luke’s... or we could turn right and drive around for a while."

    She says, "Turn right."

Next thing you know, Rory calls Lorelai with bad news.

    They got in an accident.

That’s right, folks. Jess crashed Rory’s car... THE CAR THAT DEAN BUILT HER!

So Rory is at the hospital because she fractured her wrist. Lorelai goes to pick her up, but she’s going to be there for another hour for X-rays.

So Lorelai goes to find Jess and yell at him, but she can’t find him. Instead, she ends up just yelling at Luke.

It turns into a screaming match. It’s a whole thing.

    She’s crying and calls... Christopher.

Luke finds Jess sitting on the bridge and sits down next to him.

Lorelai comes home and sleeps in Rory’s room. When she wakes up, she finds Chris sitting next to her. He says he’s going to stay through tomorrow to make sure Rory is okay.

She asks if Sherry knows, and he just says, "Rory comes first."

So methinks she might not know.

The next day, they all go to the movie. We see Kirk’s short, and it’s perfect.

They overhear Patty and Babette talking. Apparently, Luke took Jess to a bus station and sent him home.

BRAN’S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 18) SYNOPSIS

It's Friday night dinner and Richard is late. He's been working hard on a car. Emily refuses to let them eat until Richard is at the table.

The next day, Lorelai is giving Luke a hard time about his new omelette special. Rory says that's Jess' handwriting. Lorelai is like how do you know his handwriting? She's like he's written stuff in my margins. Dean shows up and crashes their breakfast and Rory seems kind of annoyed.

Later at school, Brad is back. He's here to face his fears - Paris. Rory, Paris, and company are in a group together for this school project. They need a parental advisor with business experience. They all want to pick Lorelai.

Sookie gets her wedding invites and they're wrong. She's so not a Soozie!

Rory asks Lorelai if she's willing to be the group advisor! She's like well....how about your grandfather? I bet he'd love to be your advisor!

So she goes over to ask him and he is like I'm not sure if I'll be much help. He's like things are a bit hectic right now and it's short notice. But when Emily hears about this, she's like YOU MUST HELP! So obviously, he will help.

Michel's mom is in town. It's a lot.

Richard shows up to hear the students' pitches on their made up invention they want to create. Paris pitches her idea - tricked out first aid kits. Richard presses her on it but she doesn't back down and he loves it.

She gets home and has a billion Dean messages. Lorelai seems like something is bothering this boy. She's like I don't know what his deal is.

Richard has all the kids over to his house and he is absolutely eating this project up!

Dean comes over to wash Rory's car. Lorelai is like hey bud maybe tone it down a bit. You're not losing Rory but if you keep this up, you will.

Michel gets mad at Lorelai for telling his mom that he doesn't eat carbs!

It's time to find out the winner of the project and...Rory's team doesn't win. Richard can't believe it! So he goes to talk to Headmaster Charleston and gives him a piece of his mind and demands a recount. Headmaster Charleston is like ok I just recounted and you still lose. Your project was in the running. Richard is like it's not my project, it's theirs! Charleston is like well they're not the one causing a scene, you are and he storms out.

Unfortunately, it's also Friday night dinner. When they get there, it's clear that Emily has had herself a day. She says that Richard hasn't come out of his room since he got home. Lorelai tells Emily that maybe Richard should go to therapy. Emily isn't having it. WE DON'T GO TO THERAPY! Just then, Richard comes out of his study and he seems perfectly fine. He has news - he doesn't want to be retired.

They head back to Stars Hollow and Rory asks to be dropped off in town. She'll call Dean later.

But when Lorelai gets home, Dean is there and he says "she's in love with Jess, isn't she" and Lorelai doesn't know what to say.

Emily finds out about this and isn't pleased and gives Lorelai a piece of her mind.

They make it back to the diner and everyone in town is there for a wake. Lorelai didn't set this up. Neither did Rory. Who planned this?!

Farmers market guy tells Taylor he's done. He sold out. He's moving away.

Rory goes to talk to Jess. She says did you plan this? He says no, I just unlocked the door. Rory says you helped and that means you're officially a part of our town.

The town takes turns sharing Louie stories.

BRAN’S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 16) SYNOPSIS

We start at Luke's where some serious renovations are going on. Lorelai and Rory show up and Lorelai gets a call from her mom. She tricks her into agreeing to go to a spa weekend together. But Lorelai is on the case - she plans all their spa appointments to happen at separate times. Naturally, Emily picks her up in a limo.

Paris is looking for someone to study with this weekend. Rory says I have big plans.

When Emily and Lorelai arrive, Lorelai is shocked that the schedule has been changed. Emily explains she called to make sure they could do everything together!

Rory is making out with Dean. He asks if he can come over since her mom is gone and Rory says no. She wants to be alone tonight. He's confused but what else is new.

Back at the spa, it's impossible to relax with Emily around.

Paris crashes Rory's night alone. Rory agrees to study with her for 1 hour.

Lorelai convinces Emily to leave the spa with her and go get a steak. Rebels!

Jess comes over with a care package from Luke's. They do some flirty banter and he takes his jacket off to get comfy. He's shocked to see that Paris is there. She invites Paris to stay which bums him out.

Lorelai and Emily end up having to sit at the bar - very unlike Emily. But Emily is loving it.

Back at the house, Paris and Jess are arguing about books when Dean calls - he says he's on his way but will only stay a minute. She begs him not to come. She says Paris is here. Don't come. He's like I'll just be a sec. So she begs Jess to leave before he gets there. Of course, Dean is already there. He's real mad. Jess is like I really was just dropping food off. Paris, picking up on the tension, takes the blame. She says she invited Jess over. They kind of make up but he says he's still gonna leave and she kisses him.

She goes to thank Paris. She says you helped me tonight, I helped you. She goes to leave but Rory encourages her to spend the night, like friends. Paris is pumped.

Back at dinner, a hot older man comes over to hit on Emily. He asks her to dance and Lorelai encourages her to get out there. One fast dance turns to a slow dance. She gets uncomfortable and leaves and takes it out on Lorelai.

When they get back to the spa, Emily asks why they can't have what she and Rory have. She says me and Rory are best friends. She then says why don't we steal the robes. It'll be a thing we did together and they do it!

The episode ends at Luke's the next morning. Rory goes to thank Luke for the care package which he knows nothing about. She starts talking to Jess, giving him a hard time. Dean is watching through the window. Lorelai comes to talk to him and he's like Rory wouldn't lie, right? And she says Rory wouldn't lie and smiles.

BRAN’S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 15) SYNOPSIS

Lorelai was cleaning her gutters when she hurt her hand. She slapped a Band-Aid on it and refuses to go to the doctor.

They get to Luke’s, but Luke is nowhere to be found. To make matters worse, Caesar is cooking. So Lorelai heads upstairs to check on Luke and encourage him to come down and make them pancakes. The place is a mess because Jess’s mom finally sent the rest of his stuff, and now Luke can’t find his supply ledger. Lorelai finds it and holds it hostage until he comes downstairs to make the pancakes.

That night, Lorelai and Rory are walking to get supplies for movie night. They pass Luke’s and see him sitting there alone, sadly drinking a beer and watching TV on his tiny television. He just needs some space from Jess. Lorelai encourages him to get a bigger apartment, but Luke isn’t having it. Instead, he asks if Jess could clean Lorelai’s gutters for her.

Lorelai doesn’t say yes right away, but on the walk home Rory says, "I thought you were going to give Jess a chance. You should hire him." After a little more guilt-tripping, Lorelai finally agrees.

Then she asks Rory why it’s so important that she like Jess. Rory comes up with an excuse, but Lorelai is wise to her.

Luke heads upstairs and freaks out on Jess over the mess. He shouts, "WE’RE MOVING TOMORROW!"

After looking at apartments, Jess goes to Rory’s to get started on the gutters. Cool-guy Jess flips her a book when she opens the door and comments that her hair is different. Lorelai tries to make small talk with him, but he’s not having it.

When he goes outside, Rory follows him and asks him to try to get along with her mom. He’s like, "Why?" She says, "If you care about me at all, you’ll try."

He replies, "Who says I care about you?"

    Classic Jess.

Rory leaves to hang out with Dean at a book fundraiser. Dean is bored out of his mind. He says he wants to go see The Lord of the Rings again, which annoys Rory. Then he notices she isn’t wearing the bracelet he gave her. She lies and says she took it off because of a rash and will put it back on later.

In reality, she lost it... and Jess is holding it hostage.

Lorelai invites Jess downstairs for lunch. At first he says no, but then he remembers what Rory asked him and decides to make an effort. Just then, Rory comes bursting through the door, freaking out because she’s lost the bracelet.

Luke calls Lorelai to complain about the injustices of renting. He says he needs a second opinion and asks her to come look at an apartment with him. She immediately leaves work.

The apartment is really nice. Lorelai tells him, "Even if Jess goes home someday, you’re still going to want this place. What if you meet someone?"

She finally talks him into it... but then they discover the worst possible news: Taylor owns the building.

    Luke is immediately out.

Taylor runs after him and says he’s thinking about buying the flower shop next to the diner, but he needs Luke to take down the old hardware store sign because it confuses people.

Luke says, "It was my dad’s. I’m not taking it down," and storms off.

Rory gets home, still upset about losing the bracelet. She talks to Jess about it, and he casually suggests she look in her room one more time. She walks in and immediately finds it under her bed.

    There it is.

Lorelai goes outside to pay Jess for the job, but instead accuses him of stealing the bracelet because she caught him leaving Rory’s room about 30 minutes before it mysteriously reappeared.

    Jess denies it.

She says, "Don’t 'whatever' me, you little jerk!"—like the uncle in Home Alone. She lectures him, saying that taking the bracelet only hurt Rory because it’s the most precious thing she owns.

Jess fires back, "If it’s the most precious thing she owns, why did it take her two weeks to notice it was gone?"

Yeah... I wouldn’t start calling him "son" just yet.

    He storms off.

Luke comes banging on the door, still fuming about Taylor. He reveals that, in a fit of blind rage, he bought the building that houses the diner.

Lorelai tells him that honestly, owning the building isn’t such a bad thing, and she talks him off the ledge.

Before he leaves, she asks Luke if Jess ever talks to him about Rory.

Luke says, "I don't know... but that would be great. She'd be such a good influence on him."

Luke heads home, grabs a sledgehammer, knocks a giant hole through the apartment wall, and tells Jess...

    "That’s your room."

BRAN’S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 14) SYNOPSIS

Lorelai and Rory get to Luke's and no one is there! Just one of those lulls. Rory tells Lorelai about her debate competition this week. Lane calls Rory at the diner. Naturally, Lane can see the diner with a telescope from her room where she is stuck cuz she's grounded.

They head home to watch some random British baking show called Two Fat Ladies, but they're interrupted by Paris who showed up because she thinks Rory needs more practice on the debate competition.

Lorelai gets a call from Christopher. Turns out he's close by and she invites him to come to the debate competition. He says he'll be there.

The next day, Rory walks by a payphone and naturally Lane calls it and asks her to pick up a new single for her. Lane is not well.

It's debate time! The topic is a light one - doctor assisted suicide. They do a coin flip to decide who is pro or con. Paris picks pro.

    Christopher shows up….with another woman!

Chilton wins. Afterwards, Lorelai and Sookie go to meet Christopher's girlfriend, Sherry. Lorelai and Rory come up with a game plan on how to handle this unexpected visit and they invite them home.

Before they leave, Paris asks Rory to hang out and celebrate but she can't, which really upsets Paris if you can believe it.

Sherry pulls Lorelai aside and is like you don't have to get to know me. Just because we've both had a relationship with Christopher doesn't mean we have to be friends. But she really wants to get to know Rory and asks if they can hang out tonight even though it's Friday night dinner. Lorelai is like uhhh sure.

Lorelai talks to Rory and Rory says she's fine hanging out with Sherry. Lorelai asks if Christopher wants to come to dinner and he's like it's good grub, why not.

They get to dinner, and when Emily hears that Rory is just having this night with Sherry, she's not thrilled and starts to interrogate Christopher about this Sherry. Then Rory bursts out that she doesn't think Emily should miss Friday night dinners unless she's sick and storms out.

Lorelai goes after her and Emily says it should've been you! When Christopher finally got his life together, he should've been with you! To make matters worse, Emily blames Lorelai for everything. She says she's gonna go lay down.

The next morning, Lorelai and Rory meet up at Luke's. Lorelai begs Rory for all the Sherry deets.

And she gives her ALLLLL the deets including how Sherry wants kids.

Lorelai asks Rory if she ever hoped that she and Christopher would get together. Rory says sure I've pictured you being with dad but I've also pictured you being with Pee-wee Herman and living in his playhouse.

Before they can get back to the serious convo, Rory has to run out to watch and make sure the plan to get Lane her CD works, including Kirk stopping Mrs. Kim to talk and Michel jogging by and dropping the CD in the bag.

Back at Luke's, Sherry and Christopher come by to say goodbye. Sherry leaves to say goodbye to Rory and Christopher apologizes to Lorelai for last night. Lorelai says I realized something last night - all these years, I always had you in the back of my mind. The prospect of us being together. I think I subconsciously sabotaged every relationship I've ever been in because I knew you were always there. Now that I know you're not, I can move on. Believe it or not, Christopher doesn't handle that well. He says don't put that on me. You're dumping 15 years of being unhappy on me. Don't blame me. This blowup is loud and naturally Luke watches and does nothing.

BRAN’S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 13) SYNOPSIS

Lorelai and Rory are prepping for the big charity picnic basket auction where men can bid on baskets of the ladies in town. Rory goes to make out with Dean at Dosey's when Jess shows up and just makes Dean annoyed by his existence. Rory insists that he's not that bad.

Jackson comes by the inn to talk to Sookie. His lease is up for renewal and isn't sure if he should renew because....maybe they should move in together. Except he doesn't say that. So she just says it's a really nice house and he should renew the lease if he wants to.

It's time for the auction and Rory's basket leads to quite the bidding war between Dean and Jess. Jess gets the bid up to $90 which Dean doesn't have. Believe it or not, Dean isn't thrilled by this. He tells Rory not to go with Jess. Rory is like but I have to. It's town tradition. Dean is real mad and storms off.

Now it's time for Sookie's basket. She's expecting Jackson to bid. But he won't do it. Sookie is real mad. She pulls him aside and he says if you didn't want me to move in with you, why would you want a picnic with me. Sookie's like well I hadn't even thought about it before. Then she says I lied, I have thought about it. I just didn't want to ruin anything. And I think they end up landing on moving in together!

It's time for Lorelai's basket and it's quite the bidding war between these two dudes that Patty brought to set up with her. So she runs to Luke's and begs him to come bid on her basket. He reluctantly agrees.

Jackson goes to try to buy the basket from Kirk. Surprising no one, Kirk refuses to let Jackson buy it from him. He says he'll only sell it for $250.

Lane had a whole plan to go on a date with Henry but it's quite the ordeal. He said he doesn't think he wants to keep a relationship a secret.

Rory asks Jess why he outbid Dean. Jess is like I dunno...it was funny.

While Jackson and Sookie are at their picnic, he says he doesn't think they should live together, he thinks they should get married! She says YES!

Lorelai and Luke hang out and eat and they're vibing but they're interrupted by Dean. He comes to tell Lorelai that he's worried about Rory being with Jess. He's bad news. Lorelai says there's nothing to worry about. Rory won't do anything to hurt him.

Rory then proceeds to spend the entire day with Jess. She tells Lorelai about this and it leads to a whole argument.

Unfortunately for them, they're still mad at each other come Friday night dinner which means they're gonna be mad at each other in front of Emily which never goes well. When Emily finds out that Lorelai is trying to tell her that Jess is bad news, Emily is all about it. Emily is like you gotta stop her before she goes bad. That's when Lorelai realizes that she's being a whole lot like her mom. So she goes to make up with Rory. She tells her that she trusts her and if she thinks Jess is a decent guy, she believes her. But to just be careful.

When they get home, Rory calls Jess just to talk.

BRAN’S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 12) SYNOPSIS

It's Friday night dinner and Lorelai and Rory ask Richard about what he's doing with his retirement. He says he is noticing things! Like how Emily moved a vase. And got a haircut. And wore different shoes. Emily is not thrilled by these things. She tells Lorelai about how it's weird that he's always here, noticing things. Lorelai says they just need to get used to the new normal.

The next day at school, Paris is mad. The newspaper is just not living up to the standard.

Emily can't with Richard. It's just too much. She calls Lorelai and asks her to take Richard for the day. She just needs a break.

He gets there the next day and Lorelai has no idea what to do with her father. He's like just do what you would normally do. So they start by reading the paper.

Paris is inspired to write a story about the pros and cons of small town living so she needs Rory to help her by showing her around Stars Hollow.

Richard shows up at the inn and can't help himself from butting in about proper business practices. She's not having it.

Paris is furious that she can't find any cons in Stars Hollow until Taylor comes out to thank Rory. See, Rory was at the movie rental store and these 2 kids were looking at a questionable movie cover. She tells Kirk to maybe think about moving that movie to the top shelf. Well, Kirk took that and ran with it and moved all of the potentially objectionable titles behind a red curtain. Paris is like THIS IS THE STORY!

When Rory gets home, Dean surprises her with the car! HE BUILT IT! Richard isn't having it. He doesn't think it's safe. He insists on going to get it checked out with a mechanic. He's shocked to find the car is in good working order. While waiting, they end up having it out and understanding each other a bit more.

When he gets back, Lorelai says he's overstepped today. This is her house in her town and her work and her daughter. It's not his place to overrule her. Richard is like well I know that the only reason you invited me here is because Emily asked to take him off her hands for the day. This has been very hard for him and he's leaving now.

Rory goes to pick up dinner and sees her picture on display in the window of the rental store. Naturally, Jess pops up to give her a hard time. Then he seems to imply that he has swapped out all the approved tapes for the bad tapes. Classic Jess.

The episode ends with Richard getting home and acting like he had a great day when he sees how happy Emily is with the day. But my guy is sad.

BRAN’S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 11) SYNOPSIS

Rory shows up at Luke's with big news! Her PSAT scores came in. She opened them up and her scores are great but she's taken aback by the fact that her math scores are higher than her verbal. Lorelai tells her it doesn't matter cuz her scores are amazing. They decide to celebrate by going to the Rocky Horror Picture Show!

Lorelai wakes up the next morning in a GREAT mood cuz snow! But that good news vanishes when her foot falls through the porch. Naturally she calls Kirk to come out to take a look and he's got bad news - she has termites. A ton of termites. Basically need to redo the wooden joists under the house. Gonna cost like 15k. Lorelai is freaking out, she doesn't have that type of money!

At school, Paris is clearly beginning to tell the girls what her PSAT scores are but is waiting on one of them to ask. Rory finally does. But then Paris is dying to know what Rory's score is but she refuses to tell her.

Lorelai and Rory can't sleep knowing that the termites are eating the wood below them, so they go over to Sookie's house. They're shocked to find out that she stuffed Jackson in the closet. He's embarrassed that he's wearing pajamas with pictures of him in his high school wrestling uniform.

The next day, Lorelai is trying to figure out a way to pay for the termite repairs. Rory asks why she doesn't just ask Emily. Lorelai says asking for money for her school was worth the obligation. The house is not that important.

So naturally, Rory immediately brings it up at Friday night dinner. When they get home, it leads to a huge argument. Lorelai is P'd right the O off.

To make matters worse, the next day Rory sees Lane in a cheerleader uniform. She didn't even know her best friend was a cheerleader.

Emily calls Lorelai with good news - she got her a meeting with a man at their bank. Lorelai doesn't want the meeting. She's figuring it out.

Rory and Lane talk and it's a whole thing. Rory is like why didn't you tell me? Lane is like because I knew how you'd respond.

Lorelai has Luke come out to look at it. He confirms what Kirk said but says he's willing to help. He knows a crew that can do it. He offers to give her a loan but she's not having it.

Lorelai reluctantly shows up to the bank for that meeting Emily set up and is shocked to see that Emily is there. They go into the meeting and she's gonna need Emily to co-sign on the loan in order to make it happen. So she has to ask Emily. Emily agrees. After they leave, Lorelai asks what this is going to cost her. Emily is offended and says she just wanted to do something nice for her daughter, OKAY?!

She makes it to the bonfire pep rally and she and Rory make up and then they watch Lane and the cheerleaders do their thing. Afterwards, Rory and Lane make up.

The episode ends at Friday night dinner. Emily is still mad at Lorelai. She apologizes and Emily accepts and then says they're gonna be having the DAR meetings at the inn moving forward, almost as if there were strings attached.

Before bed, Rory asks if she’s heard from her dad. Lorelei is like ummmm maybe? She tells her about the offer and Rory is like why didn’t you tell me? Lorelei is like I get dibs on this time of year with you! And I don’t like thinking about you not being here with me! Rory is like I get it. Let me think about it. Emily shows up to their room, all flustered about Richard’s big news. She ends up leaving to go for a walk and finds Richard in the lobby. They talk and make up.

The next morning, everyone is going to leave. Dean catches Rory & Jess making eyes at each other.

Rory and Lorelei take a sleigh ride home and see that someone destroyed the fancy snowman. Me-thinks it might’ve been Jess.
