Sox fans! The Chicago White Sox leave Cleveland with a 2-0 series lead after coming from behind and locking down their fourth straight postseason win. Taylor, Meidroth, Mune, Burke and Braden Montgomery shined as Will Venable continued to press all the right buttons. The Sox return to the South Side for Game 3 and the stadium will be electric. It's the first home playoff game in 5 years. One win away from the ALCS. Paint it Black on Wednesday and Let's Go White Sox. #WhiteSox

Sox fans! Goodbye Houston, hello Cleveland. Our Chicago White Sox made quick work of the Astros and are moving on to the ALDS. We will have playoff baseball back on the South Side for the first time in five years. HUGE homerun from Chase Meidroth, big pitches from Hagen Smith and an outstanding job by manager Will Venable. Sox fans! Our Chicago White Sox are postseason bound. We wanted the division but will have to settle for the third wild card. Sox head to Houston for a three game series. Winner takes on Cleveland. The Sox are absolutely built to win this wild card series. They are playing with confidence and just need to take advantage of the opportunities. Every pitch, every batter, every moment matters so very much in a short series. The Sox won 84 games after losing 100 games for three straight years. It's been a fun season but nothing is over. Hey Sox fans! Our Chicago White Sox slipped out of first place in the AL Central but currently hold a wild card spot as the last week of baseball kicks off. Maddening loses to Cleveland and Detroit stain an otherwise positive week. Burke and Martin have looked much better while Hagen Smith continues to provide confidence within a very taxed bullpen. The Sox finish up with the Royals and Rockies and there will be a lot of scoreboard watching as Cleveland heads to Boston. Will this be the last week of baseball for the Sox? Hey Sox fans! Well, it's been a rotten no-good kind of week for our White Sox but a big Game 1 win in Cleveland has sweeten things for the moment. The Sox hold the tiebreaker with Cleveland and have a 1.5 game lead in the division. Lots of work still to go for the White Sox. Burke and Smith were masterful off the mound and a gritty 18 pitch at bat from Tristan Peters sparked the offense. No rest as the Sox bounce right back with another in Cleveland. Hey Sox fans! Lots of emotions this past week. Horrible execution in Houston, although it was nice to see Davis Martin have a solid start. What was Peters doing? Despite some disappointing production with runners in scoring position, the Sox won a series against the Twins with an exclamation mark in the finale. Colson Montgomery, Munetaka Murakami and Miguel Vargas each have 30 home runs and Kyle Teel has rejoined the team. New renderings have surfaced of what the future Sox ballpark could like look three miles North of their current location. Where are the pinwheels? Sox fans! Welcome back to Good Guys Talk Back. Our Chicago White Sox won a pair of series and are eight games over .500 and have a Magic Number of 23 to win the AL Central. What a difference a year makes. Sox are making history right now as we slide in September but some of our usual suspects are rather quite. Mune, Antonacci and Meidroth remain silent while Peters, Benitendi and the bullpen have created the spark. Wins are wins and the Sox need to just keep at it. Up and down will continue to happen but, hey, it's better than another 100 loss season. With 32 games left on the schedule, the Sox have a magic number 29. Guys like Peters, Kay, Grichuk and Mune have made Getz look pretty good yet acquisitions of Castillo, Bart, Doyle and Brazoban have not had nearly that same effect. Keep wining the series. Sox utilized a bullpen day and over came a tough Burke start to create more distance in the AL Central. Miguel Vargas and Munetaka Murakami bash home run 28 and Colson Montgomery is not far behind with 26. Now is a great time to believe if you have not already. Sox head North to face a very tough Cubs team. Can Luis Castillo follow up on his gem against Cincy? One thing is for sure, this team does not quit. Thanks for the continued support. Hey Sox fans! Welcome back to Good Guys Talk Back. Our first place Chicago White Sox continue to have their ups and downs but they turned it on when it mattered. Sox took two of three from Cleveland and now have Detroit nipping at their heels. It was a long time coming but The Sox finally retired Ozzie Guillen's number thirteen. Such a powerful ceremony, followed by an outstanding Sox win. Lots of baseball left and hopefully the bullpen can find some rhythm and guys can stay relatively healthy. Sox fans! The Chicago White Sox are in first place and it's August. Feels good to feel good. Goodbye Seranthony Dominguez, hello Luis Castillo. Fedde moves to the bullpen. Are there more moves on the way? Catcher? Another starter? Chris Getz seems ready to wheel and deal if the chemistry and fit is right. The Sox split with New York and took two of three in Tampa. The Sox outscored the Rays 15-3. Right now the South Siders are in control and if you have not started believing in this team to at least win the division, it's time to start. Sox fans! Welcome back to Good Guys Talk Back. It was Munetaka Murakami bobblehead day on the South Side and he absolutely delivered. Two home runs and six RBIs to help the Sox beat up on Houston. Murakami has been relatively quiet since returning from his hamstring injury. Hopefully this is the start of another run. The Sox are enjoying a 2.5 game lead in the Central and should be planning to be buyers. With Teel being out, is a catcher the focus or should the Sox land a starter or bullpen arm? After many months of speculation the Sox did indeed select Roch Cholowsky with the number one pick. They also drafted Jim Thome's son. The Sox have a well earned break then get back at it in Toronto. Sox fans! Welcome back to Good Guys Talk Back. Our Chicago White Sox are at the halfway point of the season and hold a share of first place while being four games over. Series wins against Cleveland and Kansas City furthered their dominance at home. An absolute beating of the Royals in the series opener has helped catapult the Sox to a +18 run differential. It's been great having Teel back and hopefully Murakami is on his way in a few weeks. The Sox need to prove that they can win on the road and a series against Baltimore then a big one in Cleveland is the test before the All Star break. Thank you for the continued support. Hey Sox fans! Wow, what a tough week for our Chicago White Sox. They got roughed up in New York and then embarrassed themselves in Detroit. Was Will Venable over managing in the Detroit finale? Can we trust Domiguez as a closer? The Sox need to have a short memory and soak up the energy of the South Side because Cleveland will be a tough foe. Kyle Teel is looking more and more like he's ready for his 2026 Sox debut. Maybe Schultz in the not too distance future? After a tough week, the Sox are just one game out in the division and two games over .500. The sky is not falling and the clock has not struck midnight. Sox fans! Our Chicago White Sox just had one amazing week. The Sox took two of two from the Atlanta Braves then took two of three from the LA Dodgers. Outstanding performances from Davis Martin, Chase Meidroth and the new kid on the block: Braden Montgomery. The Sox are tied with Cleveland at the top of the Central and have a big week on the road in New York and Detroit. This team is special and with Teel on his way, it's a great time to be buyers. Sox fans! Welcome back to a brand new episode. Our Chicago White Sox had a rough week on the road. They went (2-4) against Minnesota and Philadelphia. Sox offense continues to produce even without Murakami. Antonacci and Peters are a joy to watch and even Benintendi has stepped it up. The rest of the month is very tough and without reliable pitching, it will be a disaster. The Sox need to get more consistent outings from their starters and far better performances from their relievers. Should Getz buy at the deadline? What are you willing to mortgage? Sox fans! Welcome back to having fun as a Chicago White Sox fan. The Sox swept the Tigers and took three of four from the Twins. Our South Siders are 11-3 against the AL Central and are trailing the Guardians by one game. The injury to Murakami is a big deal and the Sox will miss him greatly but guys will step up to fill the void. This White Sox club is not a one trick pony. Jacob Gonzalez and David Sandlin have joined the party and more are still to come. June will be a very tough month but it will be a good challenge. One battle at a time. Here's to having fun again!
