Jesters of Middle-earth: A D&D Podcast

Welcome back to Jesters of Middle Earth where a group of comedians try to destroy the One Ring. Wet Change have learned the correct path to get into Mordor! Continuing to cheer up the peoples of the army gathered at the Black Gate, Tyler and Guy both inspired their fellows - and themselves - while GanDelf lost another moth friend. Adam successfully forged a romantic connection between his “Daddy” and Tony DumDum’s mother, hoping to become Tony’s step-brother. And JRR Tolkien returned and warned our heroes to take the second entrance to Mordor, not to follow Gollum’s suggested path. Will our heroes actually follow JRR’s advice and avoid a giant spider? Featuring players Tyler Hewitt, Del Borovic, Guy Bradford, and Adam McNamara, and Lore Master Tom McGee. Welcome back to Jesters of Middle Earth where a group of comedians try to destroy the One Ring. Wet Change has summoned allies from other stories to join them at the edge of Mordor! After cheering up Galadriel, who had grown sad trying to cheer up the army, Tyler summoned the animals and (now fully adult) children of Narnia. Guy was hoping to find more of Saint Nick’s Healing Juice but was out of luck. Adam’s dad volunteered to make a sproingy scale to trick Smaug, and Del gave the White Witch’s staff to Galadriel before Wet Change summoned Death from the Discworld! With their allies prepared to distract the Dark Lord, will Wet Change FINALLY go to Mordor? Featuring players Tyler Hewitt, Del Borovic, Guy Bradford, and Adam McNamara, and Lore Master Tom McGee. But those are future problems - can Wet Change survive getting into Mordor? Featuring players Tyler Hewitt, Del Borovic, Guy Bradford, and Adam McNamara, and Lore Master Tom McGee. Welcome back to Jesters of Middle Earth where a group of comedians try to destroy the One Ring. Wet Change is finally approaching Mordor! In a desperate negotiation with Smaug: Guy promised to bring the dragon to Elf heaven, Adam offered to feed Fredamir to the dragon and gained enough shadow to now have multiple forms of greed-based madness, and Tyler revealed that he knew Smaug’s weakness but would give the dragon a magic scale that would make it invincible. Finally, Smaug agreed to fly them to Mordor and drop them off at a place Gollum had seen in his Rascal-visions. Are Wet Change actually about to destroy the One Ring? Welcome back to Jesters of Middle Earth where a group of comedians try to destroy the One Ring. Wet Change is finally meeting with Smaug! The dragon recognized Adam and the dwarf became too terrified to talk. GanDelf tried to speak, but Smaug found her untrustworthy. Guy showed the dragon the proper deference, and began negotiations, but Tyler had to step in once Smaug wanted promises made regarding the future. Forced to be honest, Tyler tried to explain that they were in a story, but Smaug was too egotistical to believe him. Having spotted Smaug’s missing scale, can Wet Change convince him to join their cause? Featuring players Tyler Hewitt, Del Borovic, Guy Bradford, and Adam McNamara, and Lore Master Tom McGee. Welcome back to Jesters of Middle Earth where a group of comedians try to destroy the One Ring. Guy and GanDelf scouted ahead of the others searching for Tony Dumdum when they found a travelling merchant. Trying to help the woman cook her food, GanDelf set the merchant and her cart ablaze - Guy ended up covering the victim in mud before she ran away. Adam and Tyler caught up, arriving at the same time as Tony Dumdum and Frollum. After a joyful reunion, Tony revealed he’d teamed up with Frollum (now Gollum) after unknowingly promising Gollum the One Ring in the future. But does Wet Change have a future now that Smaug has arrived? Featuring players Tyler Hewitt, Del Borovic, Guy Bradford, and Adam McNamara, and Lore Master Tom McGee. Welcome back to Jesters of Middle Earth where a group of comedians try to destroy the One Ring. Wet Change have split the party overnight in their quest to find Tony Dumdum! Guy surveyed the tracks and realized Tony and Frollum had moved on together. He went after the unlikely duo alongside GanDelf while Tyler stayed behind to smoke his pipe and watch over Adam and Yolo. The next morning, before they set out after their friends, Adam lied to Yolo and earned enough shadow to make himself crazy for gold. Can Wet Change survive negotiating with a dragon after Frodo’s already dealt with it, all while Adam is desperate to steal Smaug’s gold? Adam was relieved to discover that Tony DumDum was not dead and had just been sent ahead as a messenger by Yolo. Tyler was immensely frustrated by both his sword and by Faramir, who made things weird when Tyler tried to talk to him. Welcome back to Jesters of Middle Earth where a group of comedians try to destroy the One Ring. Wet Change allied with Death and returned to Gondor where the situation is bad! Wet Change has collected two souls and they’re trying to snag their third! Del, drunk on magic, discovered she could see a literal spell called “Can-Trip.” When the others returned to her and Binky, Del refused to kill Can-Trip despite a supernatural urge to do so, and a stormcloud spun up on the horizon. Fleeing the storm, everyone hoped they wouldn’t be stuck in skeleton form, and Del found herself still holding Death’s scythe. Wet Change just collected their second soul! Del stayed on the roof of a nearby building with Death’s horse, Binky, while the rest of Wet Change went into a bank that was being robbed. Guy discovered that no one could see them before he was accidentally set on fire, Adam tried to save Guy with a potion before getting shot with an arrow, and Tyler was shocked to see both of his friends turn skeletal and talk in different voices before he also became Death…and killed Jimmy McTatoes with an arrow. Wet Change is working as Death’s Assistants and they’ve already claimed their first soul! Guy was determined not to get caught up in the drama of a witch’s love triangle and just did his assigned task. Del overdosed on magic while waiting outside with Death’s horse. While trying to help Del sober up, Tyler spilled a potion on his foot and it turned into a lizard foot, before Adam spilled more potions on Tyler’s foot until it returned to normal…though Tyler did grow a lizard tail). Welcome back to Jesters of Middle Earth where a group of comedians try to destroy the One Ring. Wet Change took on a job as Death’s Assistants to help Death focus on his chess game! Guy was forced to describe the group’s talents to earn the job and ended up being the official scythe carrier for Death. Tyler helped Del handle the heights required to ride Binky, Death’s flying horse. Adam reminded the rest of the group they aren’t killing their targets, just collecting them. And Del, with double nat 1’s, led the group to a window just in time for a person to be thrown out of it into them all. Can Wet Change successfully collect 3 souls for Death and gain a new ally?

Tyler returned and our heroes jumped into the magic chest, leaving its protection to Yolo and Tony Dumb-Dumb. GanDelf helped Yolo have an emotional breakthrough by telling him she was proud of him. Adam revealed he sings Tony Dumb-Dumb to sleep every night. And Tyler carried Guy to another room to let him rest, not realizing the magic chest followed them in. Will Guy manage to get a full night’s rest before our heroes go to Ankh-Morpork?
