  2. LES KISS UNFILTERED! WALLABIES BOSS FACES THE KOKO BOYS!

    Season 3, Episode 36

    Show notes

KOKO ROLLS OUT THE BIG DOG! WALLABIES HEAD COACH LES KISS JOINS THE BOYS FOR AN ABSOLUTE BLOCKBUSTER!

THIS IS A BIG ONE, KOKO FAMILY! We've had legends, larrikins, World Cup winners and some of the biggest names in rugby grace the KOKO couch, but this week we've landed the BIG KAHUNA himself! The man holding the keys to Australian rugby's future, the man tasked with rebuilding the Wallabies into a world-beating force, and quite possibly the most important bloke in Australian rugby right now… WALLABIES HEAD COACH LES KISS!

In one of the biggest interviews we've ever done, Les sits down with Gits, Drew, Swoop and Prof for a fascinating, funny and refreshingly honest conversation about his remarkable coaching career, the exciting Wallabies squad he's assembling, his wonderfully weird coaching techniques and the massive Northern Hemisphere tour looming on the horizon. With the 2027 Rugby World Cup on home soil fast approaching, the boys get a rare insight into the man steering the Wallabies ship. And of course, this being KOKO, they couldn't resist throwing the boss a few curly questions to see whether he can handle the heat! This blockbuster interview is proudly brought to you by Visit Brisbane and their Sunrise Economy.

But there's plenty more rugby to sink our teeth into! The boys celebrate the Wallaroos making it three wins over Scotland, dissect Australia A's victory over the USA in Nashville and wrap up all the latest action from the wonderful world of rugby.

Plus, thanks to Hahn, we bring you our How Good Fan Moments as we farewell Wallaroos legends Emily Chancellor and Cecilia Smith from international rugby and celebrate Eva Karpani reaching the magnificent milestone of 50 Test caps!

Throw in a healthy dose of Pillar Performance, another cracking instalment of the KOKO Audiobook Club thanks to Audible, and the usual outrageous banter, questionable opinions and absolute carry-on from your favourite four rugby degenerates.

The Wallabies' top dog, a couple of massive Aussie wins and four blokes who probably shouldn't be allowed to interview the national coach. EPISODE 36 IS AN ABSOLUTE RIPPER!

  3. BLEDISLOE BLUES & ONE INCREDIBLE BLOKE! NATHAN “CHEESE” CHARLES JOINS KOKO

    Season 3, Episode 35

    Show notes

Another year, another Bledisloe beating, and another 12 months of Kiwi bragging rights. The All Blacks have absolutely towelled up the Wallabies in Sydney, piling on 43 points and leaving Australian rugby with more questions than Drew Mitchell after a night on the beers.

The KOKO Show is back for Episode 35 as Gits, Drew, Swoop and Prof pick through the wreckage of Bledisloe 2, dissect the All Blacks' devastating first-half demolition and ask the million-dollar question: Where the bloody hell do the Wallabies go from here? With England waiting at Twickenham, the boys debate whether there's light at the end of the tunnel or if Australian rugby is heading for another long, dark winter.

But this week is about far more than footy, as we welcome former Wallaby, Western Force legend and all-round champion bloke Nathan "Cheese" Charles for an incredibly special conversation. From defying the odds with cystic fibrosis to his recent Motor Neurone Disease diagnosis, Cheese shares his extraordinary story of courage, resilience and perspective. It's a powerful reminder that some things are much bigger than rugby, although that won't stop the boys from dishing out a healthy serving of classic KOKO stupidity.

THE RUGBY ROUNDUP – THANKS TO VISIT BRISBANE

The boys celebrate the Wallaroos' demolition of Scotland, unpack the Aussie Sevens action and look ahead to Brisbane becoming Australia's ultimate sporting playground, with the 2027 Rugby World Cup, a massive calendar of sporting events and the 2032 Olympics on the horizon.

    CAPE MENTELLE UNCOMPROMISING CHARACTER

All Blacks wrecking ball Peter Lakai takes the honours after a monster performance in Sydney. Plus, the boys relive their Cape Mentelle Long Lunch, where the wine was flowing and the rugby stories were getting progressively less believable.

    SANTOS ENERGY WHERE IT MATTERS

We revisit the devastating 15-minute All Blacks blitz that ripped the heart out of the Wallabies and left 75,000 fans wondering what on earth they'd just witnessed.

    HAHN HOW GOOD FAN MOMENTS

The boys relive the magic of their live Bledisloe post-match show at Accor Stadium, celebrate some incredible moments involving Nathan Charles and give a massive shoutout to the fans who stuck around to enjoy the chaos.

There's also Pillar's Personal Performance of the Week, where four former rugby stars attempt to rediscover their athletic prime through supplements and recovery, before KOKO's Audiobook Club thanks to Audible returns with Matthew McConaughey's Greenlights, as the boys attempt to find some life lessons from Hollywood's most philosophical cowboy. Alright, alright, alright!

The Bledisloe might be done and dusted, but the KOKO boys are only getting warmed up!

  5. WALLABIES BROUGHT CRASHING BACK TO EARTH! All Blacks Deliver Bledisloe Reality Check!

    Season 3, Episode 34

    Show notes

THE WALLABIES HAVE BEEN BROUGHT CRASHING BACK TO EARTH!

After all the hype, hope and belief that this could finally be Australia's year, the All Blacks delivered a brutal reality check at Eden Park in Bledisloe 1. The Wallabies were blown off the park, and now the big question is whether they can pick themselves up, dust themselves off and bounce back in Sydney for Bledisloe 2.

The KOKO Show is back for Episode 34 as Gits, Drew, Swoop and Prof dissect the Eden Park demolition, uncover where it all went wrong for the Wallabies and debate what needs to change if Australia is any chance of turning the tables on the All Blacks in Sydney.

We're also joined by former All Black Brad Weber, who gives us the Kiwi perspective on the Eden Park smash job, reveals what New Zealand really thinks of this Wallabies side and shares his predictions for the second Bledisloe showdown.

The boys crown Jordie Barrett this week's Cape Mentelle Uncompromising Character, while the All Blacks' ruthless ability to turn pressure into points from anywhere on the park earns the Santos Energy Where It Matters Moment of the Week.

PLUS, thanks to Rugby World Cup Experiences, we tackle one of rugby's biggest debates: Is Australia v New Zealand REALLY rugby's greatest rivalry? Or has a quarter-century of All Blacks dominance taken the shine off one of the game's most iconic contests?

And the KOKO family is getting BIGGER! We're absolutely stoked to welcome Hahn and Pillar Performance as brand-new sponsors of the show. Two cracking brands joining the KOKO madness — welcome to the family, legends!

Plenty of rugby, plenty of arguments and absolutely no shortage of Kiwi smugness.

It's all happening on Episode 34 of The KOKO Show!

  6. THE BLEDISLOE IS COMING HOME! | WALLABIES v ALL BLACKS

    Show notes

24 YEARS OF PAIN. ONE MASSIVE CHANCE TO END IT.

The Wallabies haven’t lifted the Bledisloe Cup since 2002. They haven’t beaten the All Blacks at Eden Park since 1986. But after knocking off the back-to-back World Champion Springboks, could THIS finally be the Wallabies side that rewrites history?

The KOKO Show is back for Episode 33 with the ultimate Bledisloe Cup preview. Gits, Drew, Swoop and Prof break down the Wallabies’ chances, the Eden Park hoodoo, where the All Blacks can be beaten and whether Australia can finally bring the Bledisloe Cup home after 24 long years.

The boys also take a walk down memory lane, revisiting some of the greatest Bledisloe performances of years gone by to crown this week’s Cape Mentelle Uncompromising Character.

Back home, the Western Force are Super Rugby AUS Champions after taking down the Waratahs in the Final. The boys unpack the decider, while the Force’s BIG THREE — Kurtley Beale, Nick Dolly and Dylan Pietsch — earn the Santos Energy Where It Matters Moment of the Week after huge performances when it mattered most.

Then things get loose with Prof’s Big Rugby Questions, before another edition of KOKO’s Audiobook Club thanks to Audible.

And finally, it’s time for THE FINALS BRACKETOLOGY thanks to Rugby World Cup Experiences. The boys work their way through the potential 2027 Rugby World Cup knockout stages and, through a completely unbiased and highly scientific process, officially crown the WALLABIES 2027 RUGBY WORLD CUP CHAMPIONS!

  7. WALLABIES STUN THE WORLD CHAMPION BOKS! + Dylan Pietsch LIVE ON KOKO

    Show notes

The Wallabies have done the impossible!

The KOKO Show is back after one of the wildest Test matches we’ve ever seen, as the Wallabies take down the back-to-back World Champion Springboks in absolute chaos! The boys break down the madness, including the TMO PHONE DISASTER and an unbelievable final 10 minutes that saw Australia reduced to just 11 men against 15. Somehow, the Wallabies dug in, refused to break and produced one of the gutsiest finishes you’ll ever see. Aussie spirit at its finest — and our Santos Energy Where It Matters Moment of the Week.

We’re also joined by Wallabies and Western Force flyer Dylan Pietsch! Dylan chats about his journey, his footy, life at the Force and the speed, power and physicality he brings to Australian Rugby.

There’s plenty more Aussie rugby to celebrate, with the Wallaroos getting the job done against Scotland, while the boys wrap up all the Super Rugby AUS action and look ahead to a HUGE Western Force v Waratahs FINAL this weekend.

Ryan Lonergan takes home our Cape Mentelle Uncompromising Character of the Week before the lads pull out the crystal ball and make their WAY TOO EARLY Rugby World Cup Round of 16 predictions — all thanks to Rugby World Experiences.

    GO ALL OUT!

    Enjoy you beautiful KOKO-Nutters!

  8. THE BOKS ARE COMING + HARRY WILSON & KOKO’S ROMA ROAD TRIP!

    Show notes

WALLABIES CAPTAIN HARRY WILSON joins The KOKO Show ahead of Australia’s massive showdown with the SPRINGBOKS in Perth!

With the Wallabies preparing to take on the best in the world, Harry takes us INSIDE WALLABIES CAMP to reveal how the squad is feeling, how they’re preparing for the Boks and what Australia needs to do to knock off the world champions on Sunday.

We also check in on the skipper himself — how he’s handling the demands of a huge international season, what it means to lead the Wallabies and whether the boys genuinely believe they can take down the Springboks in Perth.

PLUS, the boys break down the WALLAROOS’ thrilling close call against FRANCE and why another strong performance shows Australian women’s rugby is heading in the right direction ahead of a HOME RUGBY WORLD CUP in 2029.

    Then… WHAT HAPPENED IN ROMA?!

The KOKO boys are back in the studio after a huge weekend at the SANTOS FESTIVAL OF RUGBY, where the WARATAHS DUSTED THE REDS, KOKO packed out the Club Hotel for a wild LIVE SHOW and the boys enjoyed everything Roma had to offer.

We also launch our brand-new segment — THE SANTOS ENERGY WHERE IT MATTERS MOMENT OF THE WEEK — celebrating the play, decision or turning point that delivered when it mattered most.

We wrap up all the SUPER RUGBY AUS action, tell a few questionable tales from the KOKO road trip and start counting down to the CAPE MENTELLE RUGBY LONG LUNCH on the 15TH OF OCTOBER!

  9. ARE THESE SPRINGBOKS THE GREATEST TEAM EVER?!

    Show notes

The KOKO Show is back for Episode 30 and this week it’s just the boys on the couch getting stuck into a massive week of rugby!

First up, the Springboks have officially wrapped up Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry, finishing the series 3-1 over the All Blacks after another huge showdown in Baltimore. With the Boks continuing to dominate world rugby, the boys ask the big question — are these Springboks the greatest team ever?

Then we turn our attention to the Wallabies, as the lads go through the newly announced squad and break down the big selections, who could make the difference and, most importantly… how the hell can the Wallabies beat the Springboks in two weeks?!

There’s plenty more Aussie footy to unpack, with the Wallaroos pushing the Red Roses in England, while Super Rugby Aus gets underway with big wins for the Western Force and Waratahs.

And with no guest to keep the boys under control, we finish things off with a game of ‘Who Is This Teammate?’ — putting Gits, Drew and Swoop’s knowledge of their former teammates to the ultimate test.

No guest. No filter. Plenty of footy and the usual amount of KOKO chaos.

    Enjoy you beautiful KOKO-Nutters!

  11. FOUR STRAIGHT FOR THE WALLABIES AND STEPHEN DONALD HAS LANDED!

    Show notes

This week on The KOKO Show, the boys dive deep into the WALLABIES’ massive win over Argentina, making it FOUR WINS ON THE TROT! We break down where the Test was won and lost, the players who stood up and why the second match on the road in Argentina is always one of the toughest assignments in world rugby.

Then we head over to Cape Town to catch up with a slightly hungover All Blacks legend and Rugby World Cup hero STEPHEN ‘BEAVER’ DONALD! Beaver joins the boys to unpack the SPRINGBOKS’ win over the ALL BLACKS in Game Two of Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry, the planes flying frighteningly close to the stadium roof and the bizarre post-match coaches’ disagreement over exactly “WHO WAS WALKING AROUND?”

Plus, we put our great guest to the test with a brand-new game called ‘LEAVE IT TO BEAVER’, before tackling one of rugby’s most important debates — WHO ARE THE HOTTEST RUGBY PLAYERS OF ALL TIME?

  12. ALL BLACKS STUN THE BOKS! Plus, Steven Kitshoff Talks Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry

    Show notes

THE KOKO SHOW IS BACK and this week we’ve brought in some serious front-row firepower, with Springboks legend and two-time Rugby World Cup winner STEVEN KITSHOFF joining the show! The big red unit jumps on the couch with the boys to talk all things Springboks, scrums, World Cups and life after footy — plus, with one of rugby’s most famous redheads in the building, there was only one thing to do… THE GREAT KOKO REDHEAD QUIZ! Can Kitshoff prove that gingers really do know more about their own kind?

On the rugby front, the boys get stuck into another massive weekend of international footy, starting with the ALL BLACKS taking down the SPRINGBOKS in Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry. We break down where the Test was won and lost, the standout performances and what it means as these two heavyweight nations continue their epic battle for southern hemisphere supremacy.

Across the ditch, the BLACK FERNS got the better of the WALLAROOS, and the lads unpack where Australia fell short and what needs to change as the Wallaroos continue their push to close the gap on their Kiwi rivals.

Then we turn our attention to a HUGE challenge for the Wallabies with a FULL ARGENTINA v WALLABIES PREVIEW. We look at the key match-ups, players to watch, where the Wallabies can hurt Los Pumas and exactly what Australia needs to do to get the job done in Argentina.

Of course, it wouldn’t be KOKO without a little bit of chaos away from the rugby. The boys talk up the upcoming Cape Mentelle Long Lunch, where the wine flows, the stories get longer and the conversation inevitably heads somewhere it probably shouldn’t.

And finally, with Father’s Day just around the corner, Budgy Smuggler presents ‘THE YEAR OF THE TAH’ — our very special celebration of dads, Tahs and the magnificent men who proudly pull on a pair of smugglers.

So sit back, crack something cold and enjoy another massive episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons — The KOKO Show!

    Show notes

The Wallabies are WINNERS in the Les Kiss era!

This week on The KOKO Show, the boys get stuck into the Wallabies’ nail-biting win over the Brave Blossoms in Osaka. In tough conditions — and playing a man down for a quarter of the match — the Wallabies held off Eddie Jones’ Japanese side to hand Les Kiss a BIG W in his first game as Wallabies coach.

But we’re not just talking Aussie rugby! The lads break down the Springboks’ close call against Los Pumas, we take a look at the All Blacks’ tussle with the Stormers and we hand out the Cape Mentelle Uncompromising Character of the Week Award to none other than Les Kiss after his dream start in the top job.

    Show notes

This week on the KOKO Show we are serving up a ploughman's platter of chunky chaps to bring in a new chapter of Australian Rugby under the one true hugger Mr Les Kiss. That is right! Up first, we were joined all the way from an onsen in Osaka by the man of the moment and hat-trick hero Mr Josh Chanam. With Joshy in tow the lads chat about all things Wallabies on tour, the feel of the team under Les and how the lads are preparing to demolish the Japanese on Saturday. Secondly, all the way from the chilly streets of Canberra one of the Wallabies’ wounded best Mr Tom Hooper joins the show to discuss his injury timeline, what it’s like playing footy in Exeter and who the hardest bastards are to play in World Rugby.

Plus, the boys share their own thoughts about the impending Les Kiss takeover of Australian Rugby and what they believe this great man has to offer the game at a national level. We also get stuck into a little Rugby Round Up Segment where we dissect the Waratahs’ close loss to the Blues in the Super W Playoff Final last weekend. 16. The Wallabies are Back and to Help the Boys Celebrate Angus Bell Joins KOKO

    Show notes

This week on the KOKO show we are joined by our favourite bodacious baddie, the king of the piggies and the loosest loose-head in the business Mr Angus Stephen Bell. With Belly riding up front the lads broke down how the Wallabies turned their international season around by folding the Italians like a couple of calzones. He also spoke on how the Wallabies farewelled Joe Schmidt in style and what this means for their confidence for the remainder of the year. Belly also talked about his time in Ulster pretending to be a number 10, how the Irish way of life is similar to Australia and how his time in the Emerald Isle has shaped his game for this international run. The boys also do a full Rugby Roundup Segment thanks to Active Ops, to put a juicy little bow on the midway point of the Nations Championship, plus the lads also preview the next big international fixtures that are coming up soon for the men in gold and we spend a little time to wax lyrical about Joe Schmidt’s time in charge of the Wallabies.

Plus, the lads hand hat-trick hero Josh Canham the Cape Mentelle ‘Uncompromising Character of the Week Award’ for his heroic efforts against the Italians, a performance so good that WADA had to drug test him at full-time. We also got stuck into a little reflection on the week that was in sport, with our fan favourite segment ‘How Good is Sport?’ brought to you by TCL. So sit back, relax and raise a glass to the great Joe Schmidt and Laurie Fisher for all they have done in Australian Rugby. With pride in our hearts and gratitude in our loins, it is now time for an all new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons. Les GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Plus, with Active Ops providing us with up to date data we cover all the necessary stats from the weekend of International Rugby. The boys then move on to chat about James’ immediate playing future and how they believe his rugby IQ and IP would be invaluable for the Wallabies in the current climate. We also shed some light on the positives from the game with a little segment brought to you by Cape Mentelle Wineries called ‘The Uncompromising Character of the Week’, where we highlight the work of Tom Staniforth coming home to Australia but playing for France on home soil.

Finally, we close the show with another dose of ‘How Good is Sport’ brought to you by TCL and then we put Swoop back in the hot seat with a brand new look at ‘Swoop Will Sort It’. As the Wallabies’ hole gets a little deeper and Joe Schmidt’s tenure comes to an end, we call on all Australians to rally around the lads and get them over the line against the mozzarella massaging men of Italy. They need us right now! So sit back, relax and throw your frozen pizza in the oven. It is time for an all new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons.
