Lavender Brunch is a comedy podcast bringing together older Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Allied —new friends and old, for a rollicking fun chat, goss, and gab. Please like and subscribe!

Lavender Brunch’s Mission: We recognize that LGBTQ older adults often experience loneliness - sometimes at an even higher rate than other seniors - Lavender Brunch - is a Comedy Podcast with LGBTQ Older Adults who are meeting and telling humorous life stories that are free from political angst, and that aim to combat loneliness by creating a regular, friendly, fun, social event that listeners can feel a part of, everyone is Welcome!

Lavender Brunch Comedy Podcast may have adult language and content not particularly suitable for children or those uncomfortable or sensitive to grown-up talk, frank comedy, or salty language.

Please remember that this a comedy production.

Lavender Brunch participants are unapologetically and proudly LGBTQ+ and use the umbrella word Queer as a term to describe the entire extended LGBTQ+ community in a positive and inclusive way.

Lavender Brunch was created and is recorded, engineered, and edited by Liz Bradbury, with editing, engineering, and outreach help from Keystone Equality Interns Astrid Lucas and Hailey Phillips. Stephen C also worked on the recordings of episodes 1 through 5.

Lehigh Valley Active Life (formerly known as the Lehigh Valley Senior Center) is promoting, supporting, hosting, and providing recording and audience space for this podcast for older LGBTQ adults, because loneliness and isolation in this population is particularly serious. Lavender Brunch is recorded in front of a live invited audience at Active Life Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
