With influential donors exploring Coach Prime’s potential buyout, the program weighs unprecedented financial risks against the buzz, brand power, and recruiting success Sanders has brought. Does Sanders’ national profile justify his massive contract, or is it time for Colorado to chart a new course?

Kevin Borba breaks down this high-stakes decision, analyzing the potential fallout on Colorado’s roster, long-term success, and recruiting class—which currently ranks 35th nationally.

Can the Buffaloes retain their top talent if Sanders departs? Deion Sanders' future ignites speculation as Florida State parts ways with Mike Norvell—will Coach Prime make the jump back to his alma mater or remain in Boulder to revive the Colorado Buffaloes? Analysis spotlights the financial hurdles, Colorado fan sentiment, and program-building challenges facing both Sanders and the Seminoles after Norvell’s $50 million buyout.

Host Kevin Borba and Jay Smith assess Colorado’s season, focusing on quarterback struggles, costly turnovers, and defensive improvements under Coach Marv. The conversation explores whether Isaac Wilson can provide the stability needed for Colorado to secure a bowl berth, the importance of the rushing attack led by Richard Young, and actionable keys to victory in the pivotal Arizona State matchup. Colorado football FINALLY got the win it desperately needed! Kevin Borba of Locked On Buffs breaks down the Buffaloes' thrilling 27-24 overtime victory over Kansas State and explains why this result was absolutely critical for Deion Sanders and the future of the program.

After five consecutive losses, questions surrounding Coach Prime's job security were growing louder, with hot seat conversations beginning to dominate the narrative in Boulder. However, Colorado responded with a much-needed Big 12 victory that could help silence some of the outside noise and restore confidence in Sanders' leadership.

Borba dives into Isaac Wilson's game-winning touchdown pass to Charlie Williams, Richard Young's impressive 120-yard rushing performance, and how Colorado's offense finally found some consistency when it mattered most.

But does one victory really change the outlook for Deion Sanders? Have the Buffaloes turned a corner, or are there still major concerns that need to be addressed?

With Colorado improving to 3-5, Borba examines why this victory was bigger than just another win, what it means for Coach Prime's future, and whether the Buffs can use this momentum to finish the season strong.

Turmoil surrounds the Colorado Buffaloes as speculation grows over Deion Sanders’ future with the program. With support staff and insiders ramping up public defenses and reminders of the team’s pre-Sanders struggles, is the narrative shifting toward an exit or a second chance? Kevin Borba and Darian Gray break down Coach Prime’s struggles in Boulder, questioning whether his tactics—successful at Jackson State with star talents like Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter—can translate to Big 12 competition where resources and recruiting pose bigger challenges.

Key topics include the Buffaloes' stagnant offense, comparisons to quick program turnarounds such as Curt Cignetti’s Indiana, and the stark contrast in Sanders’ handling of adversity at Colorado versus Jackson State. The conversation explores media strategy, buyout implications, and possible strategies to fix Colorado’s on-field issues before upcoming clashes with the Utah Utes and Oklahoma State Cowboys. Can Deion Sanders reclaim the magic, or is Boulder poised for a dramatic coaching shakeup?

Pressure intensifies in the Big 12 as both Colorado and TCU face critical questions about head coaches Deion Sanders and Sonny Dykes. Are both programs on the brink of seismic change, or can a revamped quarterback strategy save these storied teams? Darian Gray and Kevin Borba dissect the mounting fan frustration, contrasting administrative patience, and the national spotlight dogging Deion Sanders compared to the slightly lower-profile hot seat under Sonny Dykes.

The hosts break down roster challenges, from Colorado's quarterback carousel and high-stakes NIL decisions to TCU's offensive stagnation behind Jayden Craig.

Can strategic portal moves and a defensive resurgence spark a turnaround? Insights on Sanders' media approach and Dykes' press conference bravado highlight the off-field dynamics shaping each program. With bowl eligibility slipping away and fan bases restless, will 2027 see new leaders on the sidelines for both Colorado and TCU?
