Love All Sales

Education, How To

You weren’t built to settle. You were built to win.
The Loveall Effect is where mindset meets real-world results. Every week, Brent Loveall brings you the motivation, mindset, and straight talk to help you show up bigger in sales, in business, and in life.
Brent isn’t a guru talking from a stage. He’s in the trenches every single week, coaching the sales teams at Hendrick Automotive Group, the largest privately held auto retailer in America, through live, high-pressure role-plays where one conversation decides whether the deal happens. He’s watched salespeople who didn’t know what to say grow into top producers running their own departments. And he’s learned the difference between people who wish and people who win is never talent. It’s mindset.
Most episodes are Brent, one on one with you. Others bring in guests who are living it too: people who’ve been knocked down and found a way to win anyway.
On this show, you’ll learn how to:
• Bounce back from rejection faster than ever
• Stay hungry when you’re tired and nobody’s watching
• Win people over by leading with heart
• Turn your setbacks into your comeback
• Lead your family, your team, and yourself with purpose
Whether you’re chasing your next big deal, building a business, or fighting to become the person you know you can be, this is your weekly reset.

  1. How I Sold 64½ Cars In One Month — The 3 Keys

    Season 2, Episode 26

    Show notes

I sold 64½ Volkswagens in a single month. That month I made $48,000. That year I made $391,000 selling cars.

Not at a big store. We didn't get showroom traffic, we didn't get a mountain of internet leads, and the phone didn't ring off the hook. And it wasn't one good month — I did it consistently, for years.

In this episode I give you the three keys that did it. Not theory. The three things I actually did every single day, and the reasons most salespeople never do any of them.

ONE — Minimise your downtime. Work out what an hour of yours is actually worth, then look honestly at how many of them you throw away. Most people waste three to four hours a day. That's sixty hours a month you are not being paid for.

TWO — Prospect every day, all day. New leads, old leads, the service drive, your CRM, orphans, people who bought from you years ago. The national average out of the service drive is three to five percent. The best people I know are at one in three.

THREE — Train every day. Write down every single conversation that didn't end in a sale or an appointment. Look at what they said. Work out what you'll say next time. That's it. That's the whole thing, and almost nobody does it.

I close 70 to 81% of the people I get in front of. The national average is about one in three. The difference isn't talent — it's these three habits, done daily, for years.

  2. Why One of the Largest Auto Groups Hired Me for Phone Training

    Show notes

Nobody in the automotive industry trains the phone. That's exactly why I do.

In this episode I'm pulling back the curtain on the ONE skill that took me from selling investments cold over the phone for 12 years… to selling 50–60 cars a month consistently in the auto industry… to now training one of the BIGGEST automotive groups in the United States (over 100 dealerships) every single Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday on this exact framework.

I'm telling you the story of my very first month in the car business — how I walked in on the 16th, took ZERO lot ups, made 120–150 calls a day, and sold 21 cars to finish #1 on the board. No internet leads. No showroom traffic. Just the phone.

Then I'm breaking down the EXACT structure my mentor taught me — the structure I now teach inside dealerships across the country. I call it the CORE FOUR:

🎯 C — Control the call (from hello to the appointment, you drive)🎯 O — Open up their WHY (this is where elite reps separate from average)🎯 R — Relationship building (this is why people pay $1,800 MORE to buy from you)🎯 E — Earn the appointment (don't ask for it — earn it like you're on a Broadway stage)

    You'll also hear:

→ Why 92% of buyers start online — and why that makes the phone MORE important than ever, not less→ The real reason no trainer, manager, or dealer principal teaches the phone (hint: most of them aren't good at it)→ How my reps are now closing customers who openly tell them "you're not the cheapest, but I like you the best"→ Why I would rather BUILD an elite salesperson than recruit one→ The 14-hour days, the cassette tapes, and the mentor who made me who I am→ How the phone has personally made me MILLIONS — and how it can do the same for you

If you're a salesperson who wants to break out… if you're a manager, GM, or dealer principal who knows your team is leaving deals on the table every time the phone rings… this episode is for you.

I am living proof this works. I've ran dealerships. I'm training dealerships. And I'd love to train YOU.

Share this with another salesperson. Share it with your dealership. Send it to your sales manager.

I love y'all. God bless. Believe in yourself — because I do. 🙏

  3. Why Customers Ghost Salespeople (And How to Stop It)

    Season 2, Episode 24

    Show notes

In this episode of the Loveall Sales Podcast, Brent Loveall breaks down one of the most frustrating realities in sales — customer ghosting. If you've ever had a prospect disappear after showing interest, this episode will help you understand why it happens and how elite sales professionals prevent it.

With over 23 years of experience in the automotive industry, Brent explains that ghosting usually isn’t about the customer — it’s about the process. Too many salespeople treat phone calls like transactions instead of opportunities to build real connections.

Brent dives into the strategies that separate top performers from average salespeople, including:

    • Figuring out the customer’s “why” and understanding their true motivation
    • How to build a connection quickly and stand out from other salespeople
    • Why weak appointments lead to no-shows — and how to fix them
    • The power of button-up questions and trial closes to secure commitment
    • How to paint a picture in the customer’s mind that builds excitement and value
    • Why persistent follow-up is the ultimate competitive advantage in sales

Brent also shares his personal experience achieving a 70% show rate on appointments — far above the industry average — and explains the mindset and structure that helped him consistently outperform the competition.

If you want to stop getting ghosted, control the conversation, ask better questions, and lead your customers the right way.

Whether you’re in automotive sales or any sales industry, this episode will help you build stronger connections, increase appointment show rates, and close more deals.

If this episode helps you, share it with your team, your dealership, or someone who wants to become elite in sales.

Because the mission of the Loveall Sales Podcast is simple:

Help sales professionals become the absolute best version of themselves. 🚀

  4. Here’s Why Most Salespeople Never Hit 20 Cars a Month

    Season 2, Episode 23

    Show notes

Most automotive salespeople will never consistently sell 20 cars a month.

Not because they can’t… but because they don’t master the fundamentals that actually produce results.

In this episode of the Loveall Sales Podcast, Brent Loveall breaks down the real reasons most salespeople stay stuck at average numbers — and why only a small percentage ever reach 30, 40, or even 50+ cars a month.

If you’re serious about becoming a top performer in the automotive industry, this episode will show you exactly what separates elite sales professionals from everyone else.

    Inside this episode, Brent covers:

🔥 Why lack of structure destroys most salespeople’s production
🔥 The massive advantage of mastering the phone
🔥 Why prospecting every single day is non-negotiable
🔥 How top performers create opportunities instead of waiting for lot traffic
🔥 The biggest follow-up mistake salespeople make
🔥 Why most people never treat sales like a true career

Brent also shares real examples from his own career — including making 1,500+ calls per month and how that level of activity helped him reach 50–60 cars in a single month.

If you want to stop having roller-coaster months and start producing consistent elite numbers, this episode is a must watch.

Success in sales doesn’t happen by accident.

  5. Structure Creates Success

    Season 2, Episode 22

    Show notes

Success in sales rarely happens by accident — it happens by design.

In this episode of the Loveall Sales Podcast, Brent Loveall breaks down one of the biggest mistakes holding sales professionals back from reaching their full potential: operating without structure.

After observing a highly talented salesperson who sold nearly 30 cars in a month but handled every conversation differently, Brent explains why winging it is one of the fastest ways to limit your growth. Talent alone isn’t enough — elite performers rely on structured processes, proven scripts, and disciplined habits that allow them to consistently convert at higher levels.

Brent shares how mastering your words allows you to listen with true intent, ask more powerful questions, and guide customers through a proven process that maximizes every opportunity. When your structure is dialed in, you stop worrying about what to say next and start focusing on what matters most — understanding the customer.

Using powerful analogies from sports, movies, and real dealership experiences, Brent explains why structure drives performance in every high-level profession. Just like championship teams rely on set plays and great films rely on scripts, top sales professionals rely on a repeatable process.

    In this episode you’ll learn:

    • Why structure leads to higher closing percentages
    • How mastering your words helps you listen better and sell smarter
    • The importance of having a repeatable phone and sales process
    • How the Road to the Sale maximizes every customer interaction
    • Why your daily habits and routines determine your income

Brent also shares personal insights from his own career — including how a disciplined process helped him consistently close 70–81% of customers face-to-face, convert 14%+ of internet leads, and achieve 60–70% closing ratios on inbound calls, far above industry averages.

    The truth is simple:
    Your results reflect your process.

If you want higher income, greater confidence, and more consistent success, it starts with building a structure you can execute every single day.

Share this episode with someone in sales who needs to hear it.

    Because the better your structure…
    the greater your success.

  6. Change Your Lens, Change Your Income

    Season 2, Episode 21

    Show notes

What if your income isn’t controlled by the market… the weather… or the month on the calendar — but by your perspective?

In this fired-up episode of the Loveall Sales Podcast, Brent Loveall breaks down why mindset is the ultimate separator between average and elite in the automotive industry. After one of the dealerships he trains shattered their all-time record — jumping from 120 units to 152 units in the shortest, coldest month of the year — Brent unpacks the real reason behind their success.

Spoiler: It wasn’t luck. It wasn’t traffic. It wasn’t “a good month.”

    It was massive action.

From mastering prospecting and generating 30% of your own business… to becoming lethal on the phone in a world where 92% of buyers start online… this episode is a masterclass in ownership, accountability, and execution.

    Brent also shares:

    •

Why February can be your best month ever

    •

The power of prospecting orphan customers, service drives, and old leads

    •

How elite phone skills create competitive dominance

    •

Why leaders must invest in training if they want elite performance

    •

The importance of reverse-engineering your monthly goals

    •

How getting 1% better daily compounds into life-changing results

Plus, he opens up about the explosive growth of The Loveall Group, partnering with one of the largest automotive groups in the world, and why proof of concept beats hype every time.

If you’re tired of blaming the market…
If you’re ready to stop riding the roller coaster…
If you want your numbers to go up — consistently —

It starts with changing your lens.

Because when you change your perspective, you change your actions.
When you change your actions, you change your results.
And when you change your results… you change your income.

Crush March. Believe in yourself. And remember — there are only excuses or results.

  7. Is Sales The Greatest Industry?

    Season 2, Episode 20

    Show notes

My voice might be a little raspy… but I’m fired up.

In this episode of The Loveall Sales Podcast, I break down why sales is the greatest industry in the world — and why most people never come close to reaching their full potential in it.

    Sales built me.
I was an introvert. I didn’t even want to talk to people.
A mentor believed in me before I believed in myself — and that belief changed my life.

    But here’s the truth:

With great ability comes great responsibility.

    Talent without character is dangerous.
    Ability without discipline is wasted.
And freedom without accountability destroys careers.

    In this episode, I cover:

    •

Why most salespeople have “one year of experience” repeated for a decade

    •

Why mastering every prospecting channel (showroom, internet, service drive, Facebook Marketplace, and especially the PHONE) is non-negotiable

    •

How I closed 70–81% of showroom traffic and why the national averages are unacceptable

    •

The lost art of the phone — and why it separates elite performers from average ones

    •

    Why self-worth limits income

    •

Why mentorship compresses decades into years

    •

Why dealerships are leaking millions by refusing to invest in training

    •

The real reason 42% of automotive salespeople quit within 90 days

    This isn’t motivational fluff.

    This is about skill set.
    Mindset.
    Habits.
    Discipline.
    Preparation.

    Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance.

Sales will give you everything you want — but only if you’re willing to become the person capable of earning it.

If you’re content being average, this episode isn’t for you.

If you want to dominate your market, master the phone, grow your income, and build a life you’re proud of — this is for you.

    Life is hard.
    Building a business is hard.
    Sales is hard.
    Fighting cancer is hard.

But the people who stay committed — win.

In this episode of the Loveall Sales Podcast, I open up about what it really takes to build something meaningful. From fighting cancer for the second time… to staying in the office until 11PM trying to fix camera settings and marketing systems… to dealing with setbacks, negative feedback, and moments where quitting feels easier — this episode is raw and real.

Most people don’t fail because they lack talent.
They fail because they lack commitment.

    I break down:

    •

Why 90% of people never reach 20, 30, 40+ cars per month

    •

The real reason businesses never scale

    •

How commitment beats motivation every time

    •

The daily habits that separate the elite 1% from everyone else

    •

The exact “Loveall Daily Standard” I believe guarantees success

    •

Why investing in yourself is non-negotiable

    •

And the power of staying uncomfortable long enough to grow

    I also share stories from:

    •

Running a dealership from 60 cars to 100+ in 30 days

    •

A former student who went from $15/hour to top 3 in his store

    •

Why discipline fades — but commitment builds champions

    If you’re a salesperson stuck at average…
If you’re a manager who wants more for your team…
If you’re building something and it feels harder than you expected…

    This episode is for you.

    Because here’s the truth:

    Motivation fades.
    Discipline fluctuates.
But commitment creates habits — and habits create winners.

    Life will test you.
    Sales will test you.
    Business will test you.

The only question is… are you committed?

If you are — I’ll go all in with you.

  9. Your Monthly Results Are Predictable Once you Understand This.

    Season 2, Episode 18

    Show notes

Welcome to the Loveall Sales Podcast.

This episode will completely change how you look at your month.

Most salespeople set goals the wrong way.

    They say:
    “I want to sell 15.”
    “I want to sell 20.”
    “I want to sell 30.”

    That’s backwards.

In this episode, Brent breaks down the exact formula that took him from plateauing at 30–35 cars… to 40… to 50… to 60 cars per month.

    The secret?

👉 Stop focusing on how many you want to sell.
👉 Start focusing on how many people you need to get in front of.

When you reverse engineer your closing percentage, the math becomes simple:

    •

Want 20 cars? Get in front of 60 people.

    •

Want 15 cars? Get in front of 45 people.

    •

Closing at 70%? You need even less.

It’s not about hoping traffic shows up.
    It’s about controlling the inputs.

    In this episode, Brent covers:

    •

Why most managers teach goal-setting wrong

    •

How to reverse engineer your month

    •

The only two ways to sell more cars

    •

Why prospecting is the real secret weapon

    •

Why mastering the phone changes everything

    •

How to stop riding the sales roller coaster

    •

Why investing in yourself monthly is non-negotiable

    If you’re tired of:
    📉 Inconsistent months
📉 Relying only on dealership traffic
📉 Plateauing at the same number

This blueprint will shift your entire mindset.

92% of buyers now start online.
    They already know pricing.
    They already checked KBB.
They already formed opinions before stepping on your lot.

So friendliness alone won’t cut it anymore.

The market no longer rewards “nice.”
It rewards control, leadership, psychology, and process.

    In this episode, Brent covers:

    •

Why most salespeople are losing deals on trades (and how to properly devalue them)

    •

How weak discounting habits are killing gross

    •

Why the phone is STILL the #1 skill in auto sales

    •

The 3-minute rule for calling internet leads

    •

Why most dealerships don’t have a lead problem — they have a conversation problem

    •

    •

How prospecting daily separates pros from pretenders

    •

Why culture and management training determine dealership success

    92% of buyers start online.

    And here’s the truth:

    The order-taker salesperson is dying.

In this episode of the Loveall Sales Podcast, Brent Loveall breaks down exactly why average salespeople are getting left behind — and what elite performers are doing to dominate in today’s market.

    If you’re still relying on:
    • showroom traffic
    • inbound leads
    • “what’s your best price?” conversations
    • or waiting for the dealership to feed you opportunities

    You are in danger.

    This episode covers:

🔥 The massive shift happening in dealership sales right now
🔥 Why prospecting is more important than ever
🔥 How to control conversations on the phone and in person
🔥 The difference between “seller vibes” and “helper vibes”

🔥 Why most salespeople fail in follow-up (and how the money is made there)
🔥 The modern automotive skill stack you must master in 2026
🔥 Why phone mastery is the #1 income multiplier in today’s market

    Brent also breaks down:

    • How to speed up your sales funnel without hurting the customer experience
    • How to set appointments with a 70–80% show rate
    • Why relying on dealership traffic is no longer a business plan

  12. IS SALES TRAINING WORTH IT? | The Truth About Why Most Salespeople Stay Stuck

    Season 2, Episode 15

    Show notes

Is sales training really worth the investment… or is it just another expense?

In this powerful episode of the Loveall Sales Podcast, Brent Loveall goes all in on one of the biggest issues holding dealerships and sales professionals back — lack of training and limiting beliefs.

Why do most salespeople plateau at 12–20 cars a month?
Why do dealerships keep discounting instead of developing their team?
Why do so many people say they want more… but never level up?

It all comes down to two things:

1️⃣ They don’t believe the investment will pay off.
2️⃣ Their ego tells them they already know enough.

    Brent breaks down:

    •

The “ceiling problem” that keeps dealerships small

    •

Why skill set determines income — not market size

    •

The real math behind gross profit you’re giving away

    •

Why discounting costs you FAR more than training ever will

    •

The difference between flatlining… and consistently leveling up

    •

How one student went from 12–14 cars to nearly 40 per month

    •

Why your numbers should always be trending upward

    •

The harsh truth about excuses vs. results

If you’re in automotive sales, dealership management, BDC, or leadership — this episode will challenge your mindset and force you to evaluate whether you’re investing in growth… or just surviving month to month.

  13. Five Key ingredients to Selling 64 Cars & Making $48,000 in ONE Month

    Season 2, Episode 14

    Show notes

One of the most asked questions I get is this:

“How did you sell 50–60 cars a month?”
“How did you make that kind of money in the car business?”

In this episode of the Loveall Sales Podcast, I break it all down — step by step.

No fluff. No hype. Just the real blueprint.

    Whether you're:

    •

Brand new to the automotive industry

    •

Stuck at 12–20 cars and plateaued

    •

Consistently selling 25–30 but know you're capable of more

    •

    A manager who wants a high-performance team

This episode will show you exactly what it takes to level up.

    You’ll learn:

    •

The 5 key ingredients that separate average salespeople from elite performers

    •

Why mindset is your foundation (and how most reps sabotage themselves)

    •

The skill sets you must master to control the sale

    •

Why work ethic + discipline beat talent every time

    •

How downtime is secretly killing your income

    •

The real power of prospecting (and how I made 100–150 calls a day)

    •

How to generate 30%+ of your own business instead of relying on showroom traffic

    •

Facebook Marketplace strategies most reps ignore

    •

How to sell out of the service department

    •

Why mentorship is the ultimate shortcut

    I also break down:

    •

    My daily schedule

    •

    How I structured my time

    •

    How I consistently set appointments

    •

How I closed 70–80% of customers I got in front of

    This is the real formula.

    You don’t have a dealership problem.You don’t have a market problem.You don’t have an inventory problem.

    You have either:

    •

    A mindset problem

    •

    A skill set problem

    •

    A discipline problem

    •

    Or a prospecting problem

    And the good news?

Every single one of those can be fixed.

    If you want to:

    •

    Sell 30, 40, 50+ cars a month

    •

    Make $20K–$30K+ consistently

    •

    Stop riding the roller coaster

    •

Build a book of business that pays you forever

    This episode is your roadmap.

    Share it with your team.
    Save it.
    Listen to it twice.

    Because this is the blueprint.

  14. The #1 Skill Separating Pros From Pretenders

    Season 2, Episode 13

    Show notes

Over 80% of people quit their New Year’s goals before mid-February.

    Why?

It’s not a lack of desire. It’s not a lack of talent.

    It’s a lack of discipline.

In today’s episode of the Loveall Sales Podcast, I break down why discipline — not motivation — is the true separator in automotive sales and in life.

    If you want to sell:

    •

    20, 30, even 50+ cars a month

    •

    Make $20K, $30K, $50K+ months

    •

    Build real financial freedom

    •

    Master prospecting and pipeline control

Then you have to stop talking and start doing.

    I share:

    •

Why salespeople waste 4+ hours per day without realizing it

    •

The math behind your monthly production (and the 100+ hidden hours you're not using)

    •

    How discipline fuels prospecting

    •

    Why most pipelines stay empty

    •

The “Talker vs Doer” mindset shift

    •

How writing daily goals changes everything

    •

The real story behind walking away from dealership income to build something bigger

This episode is a wake-up call.

If you say you’re going to do something — do it.

If you want 30+ cars a month — structure your day.If you want freedom — earn it through discipline.

    There’s no stopping.There’s only gas.

    Let’s get after it.

    God bless.

  15. The #1 Skill That's Quietly Costing You Millions In Sales

    Season 2, Episode 12

    Show notes

If you're in automotive sales, commission-based selling, or any high-performance sales environment… this episode might hit you in the chest.

    Because the truth is simple:

👉 The difference between making a living and making millions in sales comes down to one word: Prospecting.

In this high-energy episode of the Loveall Sales Podcast, Brent breaks down the #1 sales skill that quietly separates average salespeople from top 1% earners — and why most sales professionals never master it.

    Most salespeople rely on:

    •

    Showroom ups

    •

    Internet leads

    •

    Inbound phone calls

But what happens when traffic slows down?

What happens when the dealership stops feeding you?

    You stall.
    Your income stalls.
    Your confidence stalls.

And that’s where prospecting changes everything.

    •

Why phone prospecting is still the most powerful income-producing activity in sales

    •

How making 100 calls a day can double (or triple) your opportunities

    •

The exact mindset shift that helped Brent sell 21 cars in half a month

    •

How to generate 6–10+ extra deals per month from the service department

    •

Why Facebook, Marketplace, and social selling are untapped goldmines

    •

The math behind turning activity into massive commission growth

    •

How to build a compounding pipeline that pays you for years

    This isn’t theory.
This is 23 years of real-world sales experience condensed into one explosive episode.

    The phone is not dead.
    Cold calling is not dead.
    Prospecting is not optional.

If you’re waiting on traffic instead of creating it — you’re leaving millions on the table.

    Prospecting isn’t just a skill.
    It’s the income accelerator.
It’s the difference between surviving and dominating.

    •

    Automotive sales professionals

    •

    Dealership sales teams

    •

    Commission-based closers

    •

    Entrepreneurs building outbound pipelines

    •

Anyone serious about mastering high-performance sales

If you’re tired of average months…

  16. Perspective Is Everything: Cancer, Chemo, and Breaking the Ceiling in Life & Sales

    Season 2, Episode 11

    Show notes

Welcome back to The Loveall Sales Podcast.

Today’s episode is different. It’s personal. It’s raw. And it’s one of the strongest messages I’ve ever shared.

I open up about battling cancer for the second time—what chemo actually feels like, how it pushed me mentally and physically to my absolute limits, and how I nearly let my own mindset break me the first time around.

    But something changed.

I realized that my perspective was either going to destroy me or make me stronger.

In this episode, I share how changing my perspective completely transformed my chemo experience—from something I dreaded and feared into the strongest, most productive version of myself I’ve ever experienced. I talk about why I stopped walking into treatment defeated, why I started charging it head-on, and how that same mindset carried over into my life, my business, and the sales training company I built while fighting for my life.

This episode isn’t just about cancer.
It’s about how you respond when life gets hard.

I connect the dots between health, mindset, and sales—because I see too many people put ceilings on themselves simply because they’ve never tasted what’s possible. Whether it’s 20 cars, 30 cars, 50 cars, or building something bigger than you ever imagined, the limit is almost always mental.

If you’re struggling right now—health-wise, financially, emotionally, or in your career—this episode is for you.

I believe with everything in me that if you change your perspective, you can change your life.

    Don’t ever give up.
    Charge the storm.
    Believe in yourself—because I do.

  17. From a $100 Chevy to Dealer Principal: Lincoln’s Blueprint for Grit, Growth & Leadership

    Season 2, Episode 10

    Show notes

In this episode of the Loveall Sales Podcast, I sit down with Lincoln—a leader I’ve looked up to for years because of one thing you can’t fake: positivity backed by results.

We talk about real life…not the Instagram version.

Lincoln opens up about going from Army Ranger to being homeless for 9 months, sleeping in a smashed ’87 Chevy Celebrity…to grinding his way into a machine shop, becoming a manager, and eventually taking a leap into the car business—where he became Salesman of the Month for 19 straight months and never looked back.

From there, we break down what separates average stores from elite ones:

    •

Why process beats “winging it” every time

    •

How to get people to see their potential (and stop living at their ceiling)

    •

The truth about work-life balance when you’re broke

    •

What Lincoln looks for when promoting someone: production + leadership before the title

    •

Why he still sits on the desk, takes phone ups, and believes in TOs

    •

How he motivates performance—like his famous Rolex challenge for 350+ cars

    •

The exact standards he uses daily: cars sold, appts set, live connects, activity that matters

If you’re a salesperson, manager, or future GM who wants to build a career you’re proud of, this one is pure fuel.

  18. Build a Foundation That Can’t Be Broken: Why Skill, Mindset, and Massive Action Win in Sales

    Season 2, Episode 9

    Show notes

In this episode of The Loveall Sales Podcast, I’m coming to you fresh off the NADA Academy in McLean, Virginia—an experience fewer than 1% of people in the automotive industry ever get to have. What I learned reinforced one powerful truth:

Everything in sales—and in life—comes down to your foundation.

I break down what a real foundation actually is:

    •

    Skillset

    •

    Mindset

    •

    Work ethic

    •

    Process

    •

    Discipline

    •

    Willingness to invest in yourself

I share my journey from making 300–600 cold calls a day, hearing dozens of no’s daily, eating mac and cheese for months, and staying up until 2–4 a.m. mastering the phone—to becoming a top performer who sold 50–60 cars a month, hit a 64.5-car record, and earned over $400,000 at a small-market Volkswagen store where most people said success was impossible.

    We talk about:

    •

Why most salespeople stay reactive instead of proactive

    •

Why excuses kill careers faster than bad markets

    •

    How phone mastery changes everything

    •

Why great managers build people up—not tear them down

    •

How investing over $40,000 in my own education allowed me to give back and change lives

I also open up about battling cancer, walking away from dealership life, and why building a sales training company became my mission—to help more people faster, with zero excuses.

If you’re a salesperson, manager, GM, or dealer, this episode will challenge you to take ownership of your results, strengthen your foundation, and go all in on becoming the best version of yourself—inside and outside of work.

Because at the end of the day, hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard… and imagine if you had both.

    Believe in yourself—because I do.

  19. My Students’ Results Are Why I Started My Sales Training Company

    Season 2, Episode 8

    Show notes

    This episode explains everything.

I didn’t start a sales training company because it sounded good — I started it because my students’ results demanded it.

After 23 years in sales, years as a GSM and GM, and watching dealerships fail good people with little to no real training, I knew the industry needed something different.

Then cancer changed my perspective — and my purpose.

In this episode, I break down:

    •

Why most dealerships stay flat month after month

    •

The real reason salespeople struggle (and it’s not talent)

    •

How confidence, control, and psychology actually close deals

    •

Real, documented student results: 20, 25, even 30+ cars a month

    •

Why mastering the phone and execution changes careers

    •

Why I’d bet my life on this training again without hesitation

    This isn’t theory.
    It’s proof.
