    Show notes

What if you could earn six figures from brand partnerships without juggling dozens of brands at once? In this episode of the Master the Media Podcast, Amy Gorin shares how creators and healthcare experts can build fewer, stronger brand relationships that lead to bigger opportunities and more income. She explains why working with just one to three well-matched brands can be more powerful than saying yes to every offer. You’ll learn how to over-deliver, add bonus value, and bundle services like social posts, email campaigns, podcasts, TV segments, and website content into larger partnerships. Amy also shares why brands value loyalty and how thinking about a brand’s bigger goals can help turn a single project into a $20,000, $50,000, or even $100,000 relationship.

  20. How to Get Booked on TV: Producer Secrets for a Pitch That Gets a Yes with Alicia Quarles | EP 50

    Show notes

Have you ever wondered what makes a TV producer open your email and say yes? In this warm and encouraging episode of Master the Media, Amy Gorin chats with broadcast coach and Emmy-winning journalist Alicia Quarles about how health experts can feel more confident pitching and appearing on TV. Alicia brings honest, behind-the-scenes advice from her years at the Associated Press, E! News, Daily Mail TV, GMA3, and her own show, Positively Charlotte. Together, Amy and Alicia talk through what makes a pitch stand out, why clear takeaways matter, how to prepare once you’re booked, and how sponsored segments can help experts and brands work together in a clear, ethical way. Alicia’s biggest reminder is simple but powerful: don’t let fear stop you. All it takes is one yes.

Alicia Quarles is an Emmy-winning broadcast journalist, producer, host, and media coach with a career spanning national television, entertainment news, and local storytelling.
