NY Giants Buyers or Sellers at the NFL Trade Dead Line? w/ NFL Gary Myers
Episode 766
Show notes
The New York Giants are sitting atop the NFC East, but with the NFL Trade Deadline approaching, Joe Schoen and Big Blue have some major decisions to make.
Should the Giants be BUYERS and add talent for a playoff push? Should they protect their draft capital and stand pat? Or are there players on the current roster the Giants should consider moving before the deadline?
On this edition of NYGST on Bleav, presented by FanDuel, we’re joined by longtime NFL insider and New York football reporter Gary Myers to break down exactly where the Giants stand heading into one of the most important stretches of the season.
LIVE FRIDAY | 3:15 PM ET
We’ll discuss:
Giants Buyers or Sellers? — What should Joe Schoen’s approach be before the NFL Trade Deadline?
Who Could the Giants Target? — Which positions should New York prioritize if they decide to make a move?
What Is the Right Price? — How much draft capital should the Giants be willing to sacrifice for immediate help?
Could the Giants Sell Anyone? — Are there players on the current roster who could generate trade interest?
Injuries vs. the Playoff Push — How should New York balance significant injuries with its opportunity to contend in the NFC East?
Joe Schoen’s Long-Term Plan — Can the Giants improve the 2026 roster without compromising the future?
The NFC East Race — Where do the Giants stack up against the Eagles, Commanders and Cowboys heading into the second half of the season?
Gary Myers’ NFL Perspective — What is he hearing around the league as teams begin identifying themselves as buyers and sellers?
The Giants enter the bye week at 4-2-1 and in first place in the NFC East, putting them in legitimate position to consider strengthening the roster for a postseason run. GM Joe Schoen has said the Giants will canvas the league and examine potential opportunities, but any move has to make sense both now and for the future.
GIANTS FANS — WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU:
Should the Giants be BUYERS, SELLERS or STAY PUT at the deadline?
Who is the ONE PLAYER or POSITION you want Joe Schoen to target?
Drop your trade proposals and questions in the LIVE CHAT and COMMENTS.

The Jameis Winston Experience: Will it End? NY Giants Carter Injury Update
Episode 760
Show notes
The Jameis Winston Experience continues… but will it end anytime soon?
On today’s New York Giants Sports Talk presented by BLEAV and brought to you by FanDuel, we break down the biggest questions surrounding the New York Giants as they prepare for their Week 6 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
Jameis Winston has taken over the Giants offense following Jaxson Dart’s injury, and the results have certainly been entertaining. Winston helped lead Big Blue back from a 14-point fourth-quarter deficit against Washington, finishing with 326 passing yards and three touchdowns in the Giants’ 27-27 tie. The Giants are now 3-1-1, but how sustainable is the Jameis Winston experience? Is Winston proving he can keep this team in the NFC East race, or are the turnovers and volatility eventually going to catch up with New York?
We’ll discuss what the Giants offense has looked like with Winston, what John Harbaugh and Matt Nagy have done to put him in a position to succeed, and whether this version of the Giants can continue winning with Jameis under center. Winston has thrown for 576 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions over his last two games, while earning praise inside the Giants locker room for his leadership and ability to keep the offense moving.
ABDUL CARTER INJURY UPDATE
We’ll also have the latest on Abdul Carter, who appeared on the Giants’ Week 6 injury report with a calf injury and did not participate in Wednesday’s practice. Carter has become a major piece of the Giants defense, so his availability against New Orleans will be one of the biggest stories to monitor heading into Sunday.
The Giants are dealing with several additional injuries, including Jermaine Eluemunor, Andrew Thomas, Tyler Nubin, Colton Hood, Theo Johnson and others, making the final practice reports and game-status designations critical before the matchup with the Saints.
ON TODAY’S SHOW:
• The Jameis Winston Experience — how long can it continue?
• Is Winston playing well enough to keep the Giants winning?
• Breaking down the Giants offense under Winston
• What changed in the second half against Washington?
• Can New York remain at the top of the NFC East race?
• Abdul Carter calf injury update
