  1. Oilers hit the road for three games in four days

    Season 1, Episode 583

    Show notes

It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of ONR is ready to massage your mind feelings with an hour of Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the Oilers' wrap to their home stand, their first back-to-back set of the season, Jake Walman being a healthy scratch, line combinations, and more.

We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about the Dylan Larkin situation in Detroit, and what the NHL might do to ensure drama like this doesn't keep happening. It was announced on Thursday that Larkin won't play another game for the Red Wings, and wants this trade to get pushed through, resulting in Detroit suspending him without pay while Shawn Horcoff tries to work through a deal. Needless to say, the Larkin drama is only getting spicier, and it comes only days after Connor Hellebuyck was finally traded to the New Jersey Devils after his standoff with the Jets.

Shifting gears, the guys turned the podcast to the Oilers as they're heading out on the road for a three-game trip that will see them play three games in four nights. Starting with Wednesday's win over the Flames, the boys discussed Colton Dach crushing both of Calgary's goalies, and how there was zero response from Calgary at all. The guys also discussed Tristan Jarry's shutout against the Flames, and whether the boys think he can build on that as the team heads off on the road. Will Matt Tomkins get a chance to start on the back-to-back weekend? Will Devon Levi be ready to go?

Finally, we wrapped up the Friday episode of ONR with another round of betting talk before wrapping up the podcast with a round of Ask the Idiots and score predictions ahead of Saturday's matchup with the Leafs. With the first month of the 2026-27 season nearly wrapped up, the boys had plenty to talk about after what was another wild week for the Edmonton Oilers. Either way, there is nothing better than the ol' Oilers rollercoaster to get the boys going.

  3. Connor McDavid's heater, the Oilers are rolling, and Mattias Ekholm's injury

    Episode 581

    Show notes

It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of ONR is ready to massage your mind feelings with an hour of Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the Oilers' 6-5 shootout win over the Hurricanes, Connor McDavid's ridiculous heater, looked at Saturday's matchup against the Leafs, line combinations, and more.

We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about Connor McDavid's points totals. Despite putting predictions down before the season even started, the guys decided to do another round of McDavid predictions for how many points he'll have by the Christmas break. As you'll hear, the boys are feeling incredibly bullish on McDavid's points totals, even though the exercise itself is borderline ridiculous.

Shifting gears, the guys turned the podcast to Ryan Nugent-Hopkins' season debut, and how he made an immediate impact in his return. With the goal and assist plus the shootout winner, RNH showed why he's still one of the most important players on this team, and how crucial it is for the Oilers to have him in the lineup. Arguably the biggest down side from Thursday's win over Carolina was the fact that Mattias Ekholm went down hard and is expected to miss at least a week.

Finally, we wrapped up the Friday episode of ONR with another round of betting talk before wrapping up the podcast with a round of Ask the Idiots and score predictions ahead of Saturday's matchup with the Leafs. With the first month of the 2026-27 season nearly in the books, the boys had plenty to talk about after what was another wild week for the Edmonton Oilers. Either way, the boys are so back and there is nothing better than a good old Oilers heater.

  4. The Oilers kick off homestand against the Wild, jersey talk, and getting healthier

    Episode 580

    Show notes

It's Tuesday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the Oilers' 6-2 win over the Mammoth, injury updates, looked at the upcoming road trip, line combinations, and more.

We kicked off the Tuesday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about the Oilers' hometown remix jersey that will be coming out soon, and whether the boys like a blacked out jersey or not. As you'll hear, the boys have their thoughts and takes on the jersey, and how it's almost stunning that the design hasn't leaked yet. While everyone likes the jersey, the guys wondered why the NHL doesn't release older versions of alternate jerseys if the goal is just to make money. Somehow, the jersey talk led to breakfast rankings after Baggedmilk admitted that he's been eating a lot of Cheez Whiz.

Shifting gears, the guys turned the podcast to the Oilers' bounce back win over the Mammoth on Saturday, and how the boys responded about as well as you could hope for from a team with Stanley Cup dreams. Not only did Edmonton win that hockey game, but they played the kind of game that will have them collecting wins all season long if they can keep it going. They also touched on Trent Frederic's fight with Jack McBain, and everyone loved to see Freddy stand up for his teammate again. Shifting gears, the guys looked ahead at Tuesday's matchup with the Minnesota Wild, and how this will be another measuring stick matchup for our boys.

Finally, we wrapped up the Tuesday episode of ONR with another round of betting talk before wrapping up the podcast with a round of Baggedmilk's Trivia and score predictions ahead of the Oilers vs. Wild. With nearly a month of the 2026-27 season already in the books, the boys had plenty to talk about after what has been a hot start for the Edmonton Oilers. Either way, the NHL is back and there is nothing better than the start of a fresh hockey season.

  5. Oilers Attendance, Power-Play Concerns & Podkolzin's Impact

    Episode 579

    Show notes

It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of ONR is ready to wrap up the week with another round of Edmonton Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the guys discussed the Oilers' attendance issues, Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl's power-play usage, Vasily Podkolzin's impact alongside the team's superstars, and what Edmonton needs from its regulars moving forward. Plus, they looked at who could lead the NHL in goals this season and broke down some hot and cold performers around the league.

We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate before diving into the Oilers' ice time and whether certain players could be seeing more minutes throughout games. From there, the conversation shifted to attendance at Rogers Place, with the guys discussing the empty seats at recent Oilers games and what the organization can do to get more fans through the doors. With ticket prices and fan experience always part of the conversation, how can Edmonton make sure the building is packed night after night?

Shifting gears, the guys turned their attention to the power play and the frustration surrounding McDavid and Draisaitl not getting enough opportunities to produce. Are the Oilers taking away one of their best weapons by limiting their time on the man advantage? The guys also discussed the importance of picking your spots, the return of David Perron, and whether Podkolzin is helping McDavid and Draisaitl become even more dangerous. Plus, they looked at which regulars need to give the team more and took a look at who could finish the season as the NHL's leading goal scorer.

Finally, we wrapped up the Friday episode of ONR with another edition of Ask the Idiots before getting into a discussion about the league's hottest and coldest performers. With plenty of questions surrounding the Oilers' lineup, power play, and attendance, the guys had no shortage of topics to debate heading into the weekend. As always, nothing is off the table when the boys get together for another episode of Oilersnation Radio.

  6. Oilers look to extend winning streak with first matchup against the Kings

    Episode 578

    Show notes

It's Tuesday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of ONR is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the Oilers' 3-1 win over the Sharks, Connor McDavid's TOI, looked at Tuesday's matchup against the Kings, line combinations, and more.

We kicked off the Tuesday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about Connor McDavid's TOI, and whether he's still playing too many minutes despite the plan being to change that. With all of the injuries in the lineup right now, it makes sense that McDavid is playing more minutes than you'd probably want. That said, it is also reasonable to assume that this total will drop once the likes of Nugent-Hopkins, Hyman, and Savoie are able to play.

Shifting gears, the guys turned the podcast to how the Oilers are playing defensively these days, and how it's strange to watch them pay so much attention to the defensive details. While the non-pond hockey style they're playing might be a little boring to watch, what's most interesting is how they keep finding ways to win. As much as you'd still want a bit more offence at times, there are countless items to appreciate about the way our boys are executing.

Finally, we wrapped up the Tuesday episode of ONR with another round of betting talk before wrapping up the podcast with a round of Tenable and score predictions ahead of Tuesday's matchup with the Kings. With the first momnth of the 2026-27 season well under way, the boys had plenty to talk about after what was a wild ride for the Edmonton Oilers. Either way, the NHL is back and there is nothing better than the start of a fresh hockey season.

  7. Tristan Jarry back between the pipes, trade rumours, and previewing the Oilers vs. Sharks

    Episode 577

    Show notes

It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of in-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the Oilers' California road trip, Tristan Jarry getting back in the net, the Saturday's matchup against San Jose, line combinations, and more.

We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about how the Oilers will build their lineup after guys start getting healthy. Given that there are four more players inching towards their return, the guys worked through the options and tried to figure out how the lineup will take shape. Of course, not all of these guys are going to come back at the same time, which makes the exercise a bit of a crap shoot but still fun nonetheless.

Shifting gears, the guys turned the podcast to the Oilers' win over Anaheim on Wednesday, and how Devon Levi was a star between the pipes yet again. Had it not been for Levi's brilliance early on, the Oilers might have been down by four+ goals. Thankfully, Levi was dialled in and gave his team the foundation they needed to come roaring back and win that hockey game. From there, the guys discussed how the big boys are firing on all cylinders already, and whether it's a problem or not that the depth players still aren't scoring consistently.

Finally, we wrapped up the Friday episode of ONR with another round of betting talk, Hot and Cold Performers, and Ask the Idiots questions from the audience before wrapping up the show with some always inspiring words of hope from producer Reece. With the NHL season well underway, the boys had plenty of fun breaking everything down while still staying excited about the six months of work that are left to be done.

  8. Devon Levi shines, the Oilers head to California, and Gavin McKenna's early struggles

    Episode 576

    Show notes

It's Tuesday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the Oilers' 3-1 win over Seattle, injury updates, looked at the upcoming road trip, line combinations, and more.

We kicked off the Tuesday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about the Oilers' upcoming California road trip, and what the team needs to do against three Pacific Division rivals. Whether it's consistent goaltending or doing a better job taking care of their own end, the most important thing the boys could do is take care of the small details. As you'll hear, the boys started on the delicious debate before being immediately distracted by Gavin McKenna's early struggles in Toronto.

Shifting gears, the guys turned the podcast to the Oilers' line combos after news came out yesterday that Jason Dickinson is nearing a return. Obviously, having him back in the lineup would be huge news for Edmonton's defensive game and penalty kill, provided that he actually gets back on the ice. The guys also discussed Devon Levi's bounce back performance against the Kraken, and how that performance rightfully earned him a third straight start. The guys also looked at the trade talk surrounding the Oilers that the team is interested in trading one of their extra defencemen in a lateral move for a forward.

Finally, we wrapped up the Tuesday episode of ONR with another round of betting talk before wrapping up the podcast with a round of Baggedmilk's Trivia and score predictions ahead of the California trip. With the first week of the 2026-27 season in the books, the boys had plenty to talk about after what was a wild ride for the Edmonton Oilers. 9. The Oilers are an adventure again at both ends of the rink

    Episode 575

    Show notes

It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of in-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the Oilers' home-and-home against the Canucks, offered their takes on the chaos, the Saturday's matchup against Seattle, line combinations, and more.

We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about which goaltender was better after both goaltenders got lit up in very real ways through the first two games of the year. Given that neither goalie was able to get themselves to an .80o save percentage, it was interesting to hear the boys try and figure out which of the two was better. But when you've got two guys with a combined 13 goals against, choosing which guy was better can be increasingly difficult.

Shifting gears, the guys turned the podcast to the disastrous defensive effort the Oilers put down in the first two games of the season, and how it was almost hilarious to watch given how much they spoke about playing better in their own end. While there are plenty of things that need to get cleaned up and injuries all over the lineup, the reality is that this team needs to figure things out as quickly as humanly possible to avoid digging a hole for themselves. Doable? Certainly. Likely? Only time will tell.

Finally, we wrapped up the Friday episode of ONR with another round of betting talk, Hot and Cold Performers, league-wide takes that popped up after running through the news, and wrapped up the podcast with some words of hope from Producer Reece. With the NHL season finally underway, the boys had fun breaking everything down while still getting excited about what's to come.

  10. It's finally time for the Oilers' season opener

    Episode 574

    Show notes

It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the Oilers' season opener, the early injury issues, previewed tonight's game, line combinations, and more.

We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about the Oilers' injury news that came out today, including Ryan Nugent-Hopkins being out for a couple of weeks and Matt Savoie being upwards of eight weeks away. Toss in the fact that Jason Dickinson also isn't ready to go, and you've got a whole lot of bad news piling up before the season has even started. Needless to say, hearing that so many key players are out of the lineup already is... less than ideal.

Shifting gears, the guys turned the podcast to Tuesday's season opener against Vancouver, starting with Tristan Jarry getting the start and the newly formed line combinations after all of these injuries. While injuries can happen at any time in the NHL, it's not exactly great that all of Edmonton's plans they had for their lineup in the offseason are already being shifted around.

Finally, we wrapped up the Tuesday episode of ONR with another round of betting talk before wrapping up the podcast with a round of Baggedmilk's Trivia and score predictions ahead of the home opener. After waiting around for months to finally get going, the boys were excited about having the season get going even if it's starting with some dire news regarding 30% of the team's top six. Either way, the NHL is back and there is nothing better than the start of a fresh hockey season.

  11. The Oilers season predictions episode

    Episode 573

    Show notes

It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the upcoming Oilers season, offered up their predictions on the year, the final pre-season game of the year, line combinations, and more.

We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about the RIPNation party for tomorrow night, and which staffer will end up wearing the crown when the night wraps. If you don't know what the crown is, it's which staffer will drink too much and make the most of what will be an incredible night for everyone at Nation HQ and the Nation Citizens in attendance. Either way, it's going to be a fantastic night, and one everyone is incredibly excited about.

Shifting gears, the guys turned the podcast to our season predictions for the 2026-27 season. From goal totals to team points to how the goaltenders will do, it's almost a lot of fun to take swings at how we think the players will do for the upcoming year. If you've heard the boys do their pre-season predictions before, you'll know that this exercise is something they've all struggled with mightily over the years. But can you blame anyone for being bullish right in the middle of Kool-Aid szn.

Finally, we wrapped up the Friday episode of ONR with another round of betting talk, Hot and Cold Performers, any non-prediction takes that popped up after running through the list, and wrapped up the podcast with some pre-party words of hope from Producer Reece. With the NHL season only days away from kicking off, the boys had fun breaking everything down and getting excited about what's to come.

  12. Breaking down the first days of Oilers training camp

    Episode 572

    Show notes

It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of ONR is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed Oilers training camp, Mike Babcock's first spin as the head coach, another round of Ask the Idiots, line combinations, and more.

We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about whether the boys had any takeaways from the first two days of Oilers camp, and whether there are any early storylines that the boys have been paying attention to. Whether it's line combos, some early injuries scares, and seeing Mike Babcock on the ice as the coach for the first time, all eyes are on the Oilers are we lead into the 2026-27 season. Needless to say, we're still in the early days, but that doesn't stop the Kool-Aid from going down smooth.

Shifting gears, the guys turned the podcast to some of the other news the Oilers announced this past week, including the announcement of Evan Bouchard and Zach Hyman as alternate captains. While that conversation was happening, the boys quickly pivoted to our man Woz vlogging his way through Poland. Getting back to the NHL, the guys discussed former friend Shawn Horcoff being named interim GM in Detroit, and how he has an absolute disaster to clean up.

Finally, we wrapped up the Friday episode of ONR with another round of betting talk, discussed the first week of the NFL season, the Elks locking in their playoff spot, Stanley Cup odds, and wrapped up the podcast with a special musical performance from Producer Reece. 13. The Oilers are back in town and the Elks can clinch a playoff berth

    Episode 571

    Show notes

It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the Oilers signing Alex Formenton, the start of the NFL season, another round of Ask the Idiots, line combinations, and more.

We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about Alex Formenton being signed by the Oilers on Wednesday, and how the decision to bring him to town caused all kinds of noise around the franchise. For a lot of Oilers fans, the backstory on the player should have eliminated the opportunity play on the best league on earth. While the noise was certainly loud from the fanbase, the reality of the situation is that the team does not care.

Shifting gears, the guys turned the podcast to a discussion about training camp, and whether there are any players who have a chance to make an impact and steal a spot. Two players that were worthy of an in-depth discussion were Josh Samanski and Isaac Howard, as both young men are looking to get themselves established. While both guys had flashes at the NHL level, neither has done enough to necessarily have their spots written in ink.

Finally, we wrapped up the Friday episode of ONR with another round of betting talk, discussed the start of the NFL season, the Elks' opportunity to lock in a playoff spot, and wrapped up the podcast with a special musical performance from Producer Reece. Episode 570

    Show notes

It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the Oilers primed for a bounce back, expectations for Trent Frederic, another round of Ask the Idiots, line combinations, and more.

We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about which Oilers player the fellas are most excited about as bets to bounce back or have a strong 2026-27 season. Whether it's Trent Frederic having a better year in Edmonton or Jason Dickinson doing what he can to improve the power play, the fellas had plenty of options for players who could have a larger impact on the roster. We also discussed a player like Josh Samanski taking a step forward this season even though many Oilers fans are already bullish on what he might do.

Shifting gears, the guys turned the podcast to a discussion about Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl playing together on the first, and whether or not Stan Bowman's plan makes sense for the team as its currently built. Sticking with the lineup, the guys walked through the Oilers' injury woes and speculated on how those situations will play out, given how different each of these players are. The most notable injury, of course, would be to Matt Savoie, who will be expected to make a difference in the top six once he is back in the lineup.

Finally, we wrapped up the Friday episode of ONR with another round of betting talk, discussed some NHL rumours, worked through another round of Ask the Idiots questions, and finally, Hot and Cold Performers. While this week's episode followed the same general format, the Friday episode of ONR was all over the map with the lack of Oilers news. Episode 569

    Show notes

It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the Oilers in Global Series, the Elks' game against Winnipeg, another round of Ask the Idiots, line combinations, and more.

We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about the Edmonton Oilers going back to Germany for the 2027 Global Series, and which country the boys would love travelling to to watch the team play hockey. Whether it's actually going to the games in Germany or any of the hockey-mad surrounding countries, there are plenty of spots overseas that the boys would love to go to. Will they be able to convince Jay that this trip needs to happen? We say yes.

Shifting gears, the guys turned the podcast to the latest rankings in The Athletic that had the Oilers listed as 31st overall in the league in terms of prospect depth. While some folks were upset about being dead last, the reality is that good teams with Stanley Cup aspirations tend to trade picks and prospects to better the team today. Up next, the guys broke down the clip of Josh Samanski from a German dating show, and how it was an unbelievable clip to watch, especially when you weren't expecting it.

Finally, we wrapped up the Friday episode of ONR with another round of betting talk, discussed the Edmonton Elks' game tonight at Commonwealth, worked through another round of Ask the Idiots questions, and finally, Hot and Cold Performers. We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about Oilersnation moving to Daily Faceoff Edmonton and offered a behind the scenes look at how the decision was made. Given that there was a lot of misinformation about what happened, the boys started the podcast with a discussion about the reason for the change and offered a promise that the content you've grown to love will not be changing. They also discussed the plan for re-naming the podcast and what the approach is for the show going forward.

Shifting gears, the guys turned the podcast to the Oilers and discussed the limited news that came out over the last week or so. Starting with the Oilers' goaltending depth, the guys wondered what the approach is for the Oilers' on their depth chart now that they have eight goalies signed on their pro ranks. They also spoke about Jeff Skinner signing a one-year contract in Switzerland, and how it's wild to see how quickly his long NHL career absolutely fell off a cliff.

Finally, we wrapped up the Friday episode of ONR with another round of betting talk, discussed the Edmonton Elks' hot run in the CFL, worked through another round of Ask the Idiots questions, and finally, Hot and Cold Performers.

While this week's episode followed the same general format, the Friday episode of ONR was all over the map with the lack of Oilers news. Even so, the boys had a lot of fun working through a few hockey stories before having the podcast wind up in the ditch from there.

  17. Jake Walman's Contract, Top 6 Ike Howard, Where Does Evan Bouchard Rank?

    Episode 567

    Show notes

The crew dives into the biggest Edmonton Oilers storylines, including whether Jake Walman can bounce back after a difficult season, why his new contract has landed him on a list of the NHLโ€™s โ€œworst contracts,โ€ and what the Oilers should realistically expect from him this season.

Plus, the guys debate Evan Bouchardโ€™s place among the NHLโ€™s best defensemen, whether Ike Howard can become a legitimate top-six player, and if Josh Samanski has done enough to earn a spot in the Oilersโ€™ bottom six.

They also break down the Edmonton Elksโ€™ upcoming matchup with the Montreal Alouettes, get into the Nationโ€™s donut bracket, and put their hockey knowledge to the test with Reeceโ€™s brand-new โ€œI Can Nameโ€ game!

And, of course, thereโ€™s plenty of nonsense along the way โ€” from the worst foods to bring to a summer BBQ to the Ninja Slushie Machine and some very questionable takes.

  18. How long can the Oilers run a three-goalie system?

    Episode 566

    Show notes

It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the non-Oilers the boys loved on teams they hated, the Elks' hot run, another round of Ask the Idiots, line combinations, and more.

We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about other NHL teams and specifically if there were any players on those teams that the boys loved even if they hated the team they played for. Whether it was Miikka Kiprusoff in Calgary or Corey Perry in Anaheim or Rick Nash on those terrible Columbus teams, there were a bunch of players the boys spoke about despite not necessarily liking their team. That also led to a discussion about players they currently despise for their success against the team.

Shifting gears, the guys continued on with a conversation about Prime Video taking over Wednesday night hockey and three playoff series for the next 12 years. Given that hockey fans will need to add another subscription to watch games this year, the boys discussed whether or not the NHL is doing anything properly when it comes to growing the game. They also discussed Connor McDavid's comments on the Oilers' three-goalie setup, and whether or not anyone believes that this can last for more than a month or two.

20. Oilers Contracts, The Elks Are Rolling, And Waiting For News In The Summer Dead Zone

    Episode 565

    Show notes

It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the Oilers' troublesome contracts, the Elks' hot run, another round of Ask the Idiots, line combinations, and more.

We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about five different stories in Oilers history, and how the boys would rank them in terms of the most consequential stories in franchise history.

From Sergei Bobrovsky stealing Game 1 in 2024 to the Griffin Reinhart trade back in 2015 to Zach Hyman getting injured in the middle of a playoff run, this exercise was not necessarily the most fun one to do. Given that there is no Oilers news happening at this point in July, the boys had to get creative with what to talk about for the delicious debate.

Shifting gears, the guys continued on with a conversation about the worst contract rankings in the NHKL that were posted by The Athletic last week. For the Oilers, Dom Luczyszyn had both Trent Frederic and Jake Walman listed as the sixth and seventh worst contracts in the league, and the guys gave their take on whether those deals are as bad as they're made out to be.
