The premise is simple: we make a statement and give a percentage on how likely to be true that statement is, 100% being a certainty, 0% being an impossibility. This week, our friend SIMON joins for some Castlevania themed Pecentages as well, as we're tackling things like: does Ravenous outsell Dread? Will this be Sakamoto's final Metroid game? Is Metroid Prime 5 the next Metroid game to release? Will there be a new Castlevania Netflix series set in Soma Cruz's timeline? Will the PS2 Castlevania games finall get released as a collection?

Episode 341 - Honoring 5 Years of Metroid Dread

It seems hard to believe, but Metroid Dread turns five years old this week, celebrating it's anniversary on October 8th of this year. To honor the game, the fellas relive the legendary development, reminisce about the reveal and how wonderful seeing Dread reborn was, talk about all the new mechanics and ask if any 2D Metroid can ever not have any of these improvements, go over the E.M.M.I. concept and if it was worth not getting Dread for 15 years for, weight in on their thoughts on the story then vs now, and talk about the sheer quality of the game made it the most successful Metroid title to date.

Metroid was released on the Famicom Disk System on August 6th, 1986, making tomorrow the 40th anniversary of both the seminal title and the series as a whole.
