XRP Holders, Do You Have 12 Months?
Season 6, Episode 930
Show notes
BlackRock says that in 12 months some on-chain markets will be deeper than traditional markets, and Jeff and Chip ask the question every XRP holder should be asking: is that window yours? Chip, fresh off Ripple's Swell in New York, walks through the Platinum Summit two doors down from BlackRock's Hudson Yards office, his run-in with Jack McDonald, and the September RLUSD attestation showing distribution on Coinbase and Robinhood and institutional use at BNY, Standard Chartered and DriveWealth. Flare joins the XRPL Foundation's recommended validator list as Anodos steps away, John Lilic lays out how $35B a week settling on the XRP Ledger could flip ETH, and with XRP at $1.25 and down 50% on the year, the chat asks: is this the bottom?
Then geopolitics with the midterms two days out: Mike Waltz shuts down Cuba at the UN, the path to the Senate majority, Haley Stevens crosses over to endorse Mike Rogers in Michigan, Fetterman torches Abdul El-Sayed, and Dave Rubin's AI short on the DSA. Go vote Tuesday.

XRP Just Became Washington's Problem
Season 6, Episode 929
Show notes
Chip is back from Ripple's Swell in New York with a firsthand debrief. With the U.S. Treasury Secretary on stage beside Brad Garlinghouse and the midterms days away, Jeff and Chip break down why XRP just became Washington's problem, and why the crypto rules being written now may be harder to undo than people think.
• Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's surprise sit-down with Brad Garlinghouse, and the Democratic strategist who said the CLARITY Act likely stalls if Democrats win back Congress.
• Chip's conversation with Ripple Chief Legal Officer Stu Alderoty on why new SEC rulemaking would be hard for a future SEC chair to reverse.
• Brad Garlinghouse on why XRP is still at the heart of Ripple, and how RLUSD on the XRP Ledger brings liquidity back to XRP.
• Matt Damon and Water.org: Ripple Payments and RLUSD powering water microloans with a 98%+ repayment rate.
• Inside Swell: The Shed at Hudson Yards, the XRP subway train under Times Square, and Stefan Thomas revealing he now owns Coil.
• Also in the back half: the Binance hack and why you never keep your whole stack in one place.

What Garlinghouse Said About XRP at Ripple Swell
Season 6, Episode 928
Show notes
With all the attention on RLUSD, where does that leave XRP? At Ripple Swell 2026, Brad Garlinghouse answered it: XRP is still Ripple's North Star, and about half of all RLUSD is now issued on the XRP Ledger. Jeff flies solo with Chip on the ground in New York: Robinhood and Bitstamp, Evernorth on $400B in tokenized assets, RedotPay, AI agents moving money with AWS, Stripe and Mastercard, XRPL smart features, and the XRP TipBot's return on Xahau. Plus geopolitics: Venezuela oil lands in Texas, the methane rollback, a $1M voter fraud reward, and Trump's answer to Obama.

XRP Is Done Being The Pawn
Season 6, Episode 927
Show notes
For years XRP was the piece Wall Street pushed around the board, sacrificed first and written off every time. Not anymore. Jeff and Chip break down the XRP Ledger Hackathon, FOUNDERS Episode 4, JoelKatz taking on the City of Toronto, and Chip getting shut out of Swell Demo Days. Then the geopolitics: the No Kings rally, liberty versus force, Trump's Michigan rally and the El-Sayed Senate fight, Audi building SUVs in Georgia, Brazil's election, Israel's election, and France's immigration crisis. XRP Holders: This Is What You've Been Waiting For
Season 6, Episode 926
Show notes
Wall Street is working out how to make real money from digital assets, and Ripple wants to sell it the plumbing. Jeff and Chip follow the money to the question XRP holders care about: when the banks and Ripple get paid, does any of it reach the people holding the token?
• Ripple spotlights a Boston Consulting Group report estimating a regional bank with a $200-300B balance sheet could add up to $100M to its P&L by pairing digital-asset services with the right custody setup. It's a modelled estimate, not booked profit.
• - Arf brings settlement liquidity to the XRP Ledger, using RLUSD for short-term working capital for licensed payment firms, and Jeff on why RLUSD volume and XRP value are not the same thing.
• - XRP finally gets its own @XRP handle and xrp.org, and Stuart Alderoty files Ripple's comment letter on the SEC's proposed crypto rules.
• - Coinbase research: stablecoins settled roughly $35T on-chain in 2025, but only about $390B of it was real payments.
• - Bit Water: a $900 water-heater element that mines Bitcoin, and the math on whether it ever pays for itself.
• - Also in the back half: Amy Acton's own mother cuts an ad against her, Trump warns Europe over NATO, Rubio names Iran as the Middle East's core problem, Elizabeth Warren on billionaire money, and France burns while Macron blames Trump.Watch the full show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdik2xa1nss

XRP Holders Getting Paid?
Season 6, Episode 925
Show notes
XRP holders want to get paid, but who pays? Jeff and Chip follow the money through Firelight, the Flare-based protocol now offering onchain cover for a Kraken DeFi Earn strategy. Stakers earn rewards for backing that protection, and a confirmed covered loss can hit their stake. Firelight's Jesus Rodriguez explains why XRP, which never had a native yield, makes cheaper insurance capital for DeFi than ETH insuring ETH.
Also: Flare's Hugo Philion on Flare as the blockchain for data, DriveWealth using Ripple's RLUSD on the XRP Ledger, Swell 2026 in New York, XRPL Africa turning one, why the dollar wins the stablecoin race, how hackers pick DeFi targets, and why Main Street needs insured crypto. In the back half: Spencer Pratt on America, Greta Thunberg and France's riots, Macron, and Warsaw vs Paris.

Stripe Just Came For XRP
Season 6, Episode 924
Show notes
Stripe just came for XRP. Privy, the wallet company Stripe owns, is partnering with Ripple to put embedded wallets on the XRP Ledger, so developers can drop XRP and RLUSD straight into their apps. Jeff and Chip walk through what that opens up, then connect it to a week where the big names kept lining up behind the ledger.
• Standard Chartered is now custodying RLUSD on the XRP Ledger through its DIFC branch.
• Evernorth named Ripple, Coinbase, Kraken and BitGo as execution partners to put its 473M XRP treasury to work.
• France is weighing a 31.4% tax on crypto-to-stablecoin conversions.
• An HSBC whistleblower's letter to Scott Bessent lands the same week Treasury hits Bank of America with $1.21B in penalties, and the guys run through a decade of bank fines while Elizabeth Warren keeps blaming crypto.
• A viewer's Japanese XRP candy gets a live taste test.
• Also in the back half: Blakeman vs. Hochul, Jewish voters breaking from New York Democrats, the midterm Senate map, why sitting out the election costs your crypto bag, why third parties lose, and U.S. vs. Europe innovation. -

XRP Won. Washington Still Holds The Keys | MetaLawMan
Season 6, Episode 923
Show notes
MetaLawMan, securities lawyer James Murphy, joins Jeff and Chip to answer the question XRP holders keep asking: if XRP won, why hasn't the market treated it like clarity? His answer is that the US still has no crypto law passed by Congress. XRP is well positioned after Judge Torres's ruling and the SEC's interpretive guidance naming it one of 16 tokens that are commodities, not securities, but guidance can change with the next administration.
We get into why a statute beats SEC guidance, the coming courtroom irony where the SEC has to make Gensler's own argument, what's next after Clarity stalled, the exchange protections Democrats voted down, and how the banks shaped the bill. Also: Deaton vs. Markey debate clips, including Markey's Siri-or-Claude answer on AI, and why MetaLawMan is all in on John Deaton.

They Almost Printed Trillions Of XRP
Season 6, Episode 922
Show notes
A bug that sat in the XRP Ledger's payment engine for about 10 years could have minted 18 trillion XRP out of nothing, against a fixed supply of 100 billion. Jeff and Chip break down how it worked, who found it, why the fix skipped the usual validator vote, and why it lands right as Evernorth's XRPN is expected to open on the Nasdaq Monday. Plus the $250,000 bug bounty fight, AI guardrails and pen testing, Bitcoin, Ether and Solana ETF outflows, and in the back half: James Carville's meltdown, Bessent's letter to Elizabeth Warren, Europe's migration and military service push, and the UK digital ID fight.

Ripple’s Getting Paid. Where Does That Leave XRP?
Season 6, Episode 921
Show notes
Ripple is now collecting fees from Wall Street’s leveraged-ETF business, and Jeff and Chip spend the morning on the question every holder is asking: when Ripple gets paid, where does that leave XRP? Their answer: Ripple’s revenue belongs to Ripple, and XRP holders benefit indirectly, through more builders and more activity on the XRP Ledger.
Ripple Prime on Wall Street: The Wall Street Journal reports Ripple Prime is financing leveraged ETFs through swap deals, a category of 593 U.S. funds holding more than $256 billion, and it just signed hedge fund Brevan Howard for prime brokerage, clearing and financing.
Company vs. asset: Jeff argues Ripple’s job is Ripple’s profitability, and banks will reach for RLUSD before a volatile asset. Chip says XRP’s role is liquidity, and that ETFs are what move the price.
Evernorth: XRPN is expected to start trading on Nasdaq Monday with about 473 million XRP. There is no pre-sale, no airdrop and no early-access link.
Batch is live on the XRP Ledger: up to 8 transactions can settle as one, which opens the door to delivery-versus-payment and OTC trades without an escrow agent.
Ripple’s other moves: Ripple Custody 1.43 adds Canton Network support, Jack McDonald explains the Notabene investment, and Chip lays out why Ripple has no reason to go public.
Also in the back half: a hardware-wallet supply-chain warning (buy direct from the maker), the H-1B visa fight and India’s IT outsourcers, the Michigan Senate debate between Mike Rogers and Abdul El-Sayed, and Marco Rubio on sanctioning the International Criminal Court.

They're Selling XRP At The Worst Time
Season 6, Episode 920
Show notes
XRP is being sold at the worst possible time: three red days in a row, in the same stretch that a $35 billion hedge fund signed with Ripple Prime, Paxos switched on XRP trading, and Ripple's president put a $30 billion target on the XRP Ledger.
Here is what the sellers missed. Brevan Howard picks Ripple Prime for multi-asset prime brokerage, clearing and financing. Monica Long's 2027 targets at XRP Seoul: $30 billion in tokenized real-world assets on the XRP Ledger (about $6 billion today) and 100 million+ AI agent transactions. Spot XRP ETFs hold about $1.7 billion but took in about $4 million last week. Evernorth's Nasdaq debut (XRPN, about 473 million XRP) moves to October 12.
Also tonight: AI agents on the XRP Ledger with t54, Coinbase and Citi on stablecoins, Grape's XRP Man game, iTrustCapital's Q, a live reaction to Founders episode 3, Rubio in Athens, CNN's new owners, Quebec's separatist win, Canada's assisted-dying law, France's school protests, and the UK's arrests over online posts.

473 Million XRP Isn’t Enough
Season 6, Episode 919
Show notes
Wall Street, Korean banks and AI agents are all reaching for XRP at the same time, and there is only so much of it.
Evernorth is expected to hit the Nasdaq on October 8 (ticker XRPN) with about 473 million XRP, and that's the small number: US spot XRP ETFs already hold 1.19 billion XRP. Four Korean financial institutions took the stage at XRP Seoul in front of 5,000+ people, XRPL validators are voting on the LendingProtocolV1_1 amendment, and the XRP Ledger passed 10 million x402 AI agent payments.
Also today: XRP Asia launches, Ripple's RLUSD insurance pilot in Uganda, RLUSD ranks #2 in Q3 stablecoin growth, Ripple Swell in New York, the federal noncitizen voting ruling, Trump's Oklahoma rally, the school riots in France, and Canada's trade fight.

Big Money Is Coming For XRP
Season 6, Episode 918
Show notes
Big money is coming for XRP.
The XRP Ledger added $2.4 billion in tokenized real-world assets this year, one of the top three chains for RWA growth. US spot XRP ETFs added 34 million XRP this week and now hold 1.16 billion XRP. And on October 5, XRPL's Permission Delegation upgrade is scheduled to go live, letting an XRP account hand specific permissions to another account (including one run by an AI agent) without ever sharing its keys.
Also on this episode: FXRP turns one on Flare, Brian Armstrong on AI agents as the new API users, the CLARITY Act fallout, the 49-50 Senate vote on the Iran war, the arrests near RAF Fairford, and Iran's 74-lash sentence for a singer.

XRP Goes To War On October 5
Season 6, Episode 917
Show notes
On October 5, XRP goes to war, and the weapon isn't a price pump. It's a key. The XRP Ledger's Permission Delegation upgrade has entered its 14-day activation countdown and could go live October 5 if validator support holds. Master keys stay locked in the vault. Delegates get a badge instead: up to ten specific permissions, and never the keys. Jeff and Chip break down why that's the feature compliance departments, stablecoin issuers and AI agents have been waiting for, while XRP sits at $1.50 and everybody else stares at red candles.
Also on the show: Amazon Web Services joins the XRP Ledger Hackathon with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore; the XRPL AI Starter Kit adds the Open Wallet Standard, MPP from Tempo and Stripe, and x402; Evernorth teams up with The Bear Champ; RLUSD and the APAC stablecoin map; BlackRock's "tokens" chart; the ECB's digital euro pilot; the FOUNDERS sitcom parody; and in the back half, Trump vs. Biden at the UN, Milei, Rubio and Cuba, the Denmark–Greenland deal, and Around the World.

ETFs Bought A Billion XRP. Nothing Happened.
Season 6, Episode 916
Show notes
XRP spot ETFs now hold 1.13 billion XRP and $1.46 billion in assets, after another 6.3 million XRP of inflows this week and 645.3 million XRP walking off exchanges. Every part of the bullish mechanism fired at once, and XRP sat at $1.43.
Jeff walks the Week 38 supply report line by line, and Chip puts beside it the number nobody else quotes: the ETFs and index funds hold 1.129% of total supply, while exchange wallets hold roughly 21%. The ETF bid is real. It is not yet large enough to see.
Also in this episode: the Fed's unanimous 12-0 hike to 3.75%-4.00% and why XRP didn't blink; where all 100 billion XRP actually lives; Ripple Treasury and the trapped-cash problem; XRP and RLUSD landing in Stripe and Tempo's AI payments kit; Stuart Alderoty on why politics beat policy on CLARITY; wallet security and the dead-phone cold storage protocol; and the Greenland agreement that Trump calls permanent American control while Denmark's own statement calls sovereignty preserved.

Democrats Blocked Clarity Act - XRP Won't Wait
Season 6, Episode 915
Show notes
Democrats blocked the CLARITY Act, leaving the United States without the digital asset framework the crypto industry spent years fighting to secure. Now, some of the senators responsible cannot clearly explain why they voted against it.
But XRP isn't waiting for Washington.
While Congress fails to deliver clarity, XRP and RLUSD are moving deeper into the infrastructure being built for AI-powered commerce, open wallets and machine payments. We break down who stopped the CLARITY Act, what happens next and why the financial system continues building around XRP.
We also cover Ripple Swell 2026, the XRPL AI Starter Kit, the critical D'CENT security warning and the growing battle over AI.

They Can't Build This Without XRP
Season 6, Episode 914
Show notes
Something much bigger is being built around XRP, and the pieces are getting harder to ignore.
RLUSD is expanding its liquidity and distribution through Spark’s Stablecoin FX Layer. At the same time, the XRP Ledger Foundation is talking openly about writing TradFi primitives directly into the XRPL, including lending, infrastructure and agentic payments.
Flare is experimenting with new ways to generate XRP rewards. Canton continues advancing institutional settlement infrastructure. And while all of this is happening, another XRPL project bites the dust.
Then Washington enters a critical week for crypto as the CLARITY Act heads toward a major Senate vote.
And we’re going around the world: Trump in Ireland, the growing conversation around a reunited Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland challenging the future of the UK, Putin warning about Europe and Russia, and Trump declaring that whoever wins the AI race wins.
The financial system is changing. The infrastructure is being built. And XRP keeps showing up in places that matter.
At some point you have to ask:
What are they building... and why does XRP keep ending up in the middle of it?

XRP Is The Key To Money
Season 6, Episode 913
Show notes
XRP may be becoming the key to something much bigger than payments.
Ripple is challenging the idea that every regulated stablecoin is created equal. A money transmitter license, state trust charter, and federal prudential supervision each carry different reserve requirements, verification standards, and consequences if an issuer fails. As stablecoins become part of the financial system, the level of regulatory oversight behind them could determine which assets institutions are willing to trust.
Clearpool is also expanding to the XRP Ledger, bringing institutional-ready credit and lending infrastructure directly to XRPL. The proposal includes migrating from CPOOL to CLEAR and recapitalizing the treasury to fund incentives, adoption, and the platform’s next phase of growth. Institutional credit remains largely untapped on XRPL, but Clearpool believes the opportunity is massive.
At the same time, RippleX is working with Common Prefix to formally verify the XRP Ledger. This effort goes directly to the reliability and security institutions require before moving serious financial activity onchain. We are also looking at the XRPL validation stream, where UNL validators vote on the same ledger hash until consensus is reached and the ledger sequence advances.
Ripple Treasury is pushing even deeper into the Office of the CFO with GSmart and what Ripple describes as Treasury-Native AI. Instead of placing AI beside treasury operations, Ripple is embedding intelligence directly into existing financial policies, data, workflows, and deterministic financial logic while keeping people responsible for the final decisions.
Solana is also developing confidential transfers and batch functionality, reinforcing the institutional demand for privacy, scale, and controlled financial operations on public blockchain infrastructure.
Tonight, Chip and Jeff connect all of it. Regulated stablecoins. Institutional credit. Formal verification. Treasury-native AI. Confidential transfers. Batch transactions. These are not isolated developments. They are pieces of the financial infrastructure being built for the next era of money.

They Keep Choosing XRP
Season 6, Episode 911
Show notes
They keep choosing XRP—and at this point, it’s getting harder to call it a coincidence.
Brad Garlinghouse is inside the room as America pushes to become the crypto capital of the world. The Bank for International Settlements tested the XRP Ledger in a proof of concept for verifying official economic data. AI agents are already using XRP and RLUSD to purchase intelligence, research, forecasts, and digital services. Now the Florida Gators are putting XRP directly on the field at the Swamp.
Different players. Different objectives. The same ledger keeps showing up.
Meanwhile, a central bank spent months repositioning $11 billion in gold, Congress is walking away for the final two weeks of September, and the attacks against XRP are getting louder.
Is this simply a collection of unrelated headlines—or are governments, institutions, developers, and major brands revealing what comes next before the market is ready to see it?
Jeff and Chip connect the dots on XRP, Ripple, the BIS, AI-agent payments, RLUSD, American crypto policy, the Florida Gators partnership, and the growing backlash surrounding XRP.
Drop your answer in the comments: Which signal matters most—the BIS, AI-agent payments, the White House, or XRP entering mainstream sports?
