  1. One MANS Opinion: Episode 326 – What A Day

    Episode 326

    Show notes

Jeff Mans wraps up one of the longest and wildest days of his life the only way that he knows how: by recording an hour-and-a-half show! This week he briefly addresses his absence from the SXM show this week while offering other options to get his fantasy football information. He reacts to the Indianapolis Colts fire sale and breaks down how trading Quenton Nelson is similar to selling off a franchise QB. It was another great week in daily fantasy football as both the cash and tournament core fours propelled us to victory. Jeff breaks down the paylines, ownership, and the wild usage of Titans RB Tony Pollard in week seven. He also gives a quick DFS glance into week eight, where we may get a reprieve from the mega high-owned players. He counts down his top 10 waiver wire pickups heading into week eight as well as a few names that he won’t be bidding on this week. Mans does a deep dive on the tight end position with a look at the basic and advanced stats combined with NFL team personnel usage and historical production from the position. This mining brings up a few buy-low and sell-high tight ends right now. As always, he has his best bet for the Thursday Night Football game between the Panthers and Packers this week. 2. One MANS Opinion: Episode 325 – My Secrets

    Episode 325

    Show notes

Jeff Mans has some admissions at the start of this week’s show. He reveals a couple of personal issues that he and his family are dealing with right now that may impact how often and/or where you hear his shows moving forward. Fear not, however, because there is a ton of football talk here too, including his reactions to season-ending injuries to Jalen Hurts and Terry McLaurin. He dives into the Giants backfield issues with a benched Cam Skattebo and a released Najee Harris. As usual, Mans counts down his top 10 waiver wire pickups ahead of week seven as well as a few names that narrowly missed the list this week. Running backs have been extremely volatile so far this year, so Jeff does a deep dive on which NFL RBs are helping themselves the most and least right now. This data reveals a couple of great buy-low candidates for us to target moving forward. Mans also provides his Thursday Night Football bet of the week for the Patriots/Bears game this week. 3. One MANS Opinion: Episode 324 – Fantasy Football Depth Chart 2026

    Episode 324

    Show notes

It’s a super-sized episode this week as Jeff Mans proclaims that he has “the most to talk about” this week. He begins with his reaction to the Marvin Harrison Jr. trade and what it means for the Texans and Cardinals from a fantasy football perspective. A new segment to the podcast this week is a DFS NFL payline review where Jeff breaks down his DFS lineups from last week and reveals how many points it took to cash. This leads to a conversation about what it takes to become a higher-stakes player in seasonal, DFS, and/or betting. You may not have the bankroll now, but Mans walks you through how he built his over the years and the process he would use today. As usual, Jeff gives out his top 10 fantasy football waiver pickups of the week as well as some tips on navigating through the bye weeks. He goes over the current scoring leaders at QB, RB, WR & TE and speculates on which players will remain and which are destined to fall off as the season rolls on. Then it is time to reveal his first fantasy football depth chart of the season, which is a current evaluation of each player’s fantasy value right now and for the rest of the season. This information is vital for making roster moves, trades, and maintaining a quality fantasy roster. As always, Mans ends the show by giving out his best bet for the Thursday Night Football game between the Seahawks and Broncos this week. 5. One MANS Opinion: Episode 322 – Dead or Alive

    Episode 322

    Show notes

This week’s episode starts out with a recap of the numerous injuries around the NFL, including running backs like De’Von Achane, Breece Hall, and Travis Etienne. Jeff Mans goes over who steps up and in for each of those positions while also analyzing how injuries will impact the passing games in San Francisco, Minnesota, Tampa Bay, and Carolina. This leads into a spontaneous edition of “Dead or Alive” where Mans goes over a dozen or so teams and players and declares each of them dead or alive in terms of value for the rest of this season. Jeff also goes back into the archives this week to look at who the best and worst players were through three weeks of the 2025 season. This project uncovers some very similar starts for a few players and reminds us to exercise more patience in our evaluations. As usual, he counts down his top 10 fantasy football waiver pickups of the week, which includes one deep league speculative add that could provide a big-time payoff much later in the season. Thursday Night Football sees the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Cleveland Browns this week a game that Mans is not super excited about though he does provide one plus money parlay for us to cash in on. 6. One MANS Opinion: Episode 321 – On The Cart

    Episode 321

    Show notes

The world has gone mad because a certain NFL QB got injured and was carted to the locker room. Jeff Mans seems to be the only person defending this move and has decided to record this week’s episode on a cart of his own. Mans shares his thoughts on the injuries to Caleb Williams, Jaxson Dart and Jayden Daniels this week and discusses how each team will handle the losses and what fantasy managers should do as well. Due to all of the injuries going into week three Jeff has updated his top 10 waiver wire targets of the week here as well and counts them down for us. Then, it is time to take a look at some of the biggest fantasy football disappointments over the first two weeks of the season. Mans dives deeper into the likes of Justin Herbert, Kenneth Gainwell, Mavin Harrison Jr. and Kyle Pitts and assigns each player a “worry-o-meter” number moving forward. As always Jeff shares his favorite bet for Thursday Night Football between the Falcons and Packers including a historic look at one player that always seems to dominate on Thursday’s. 7. One MANS Opinion: Episode 320 – The History of Week 1

    Episode 320

    Show notes

Week 1 of the 2026 NFL regular season is in the books, and Jeff Mans is here with a full recap and then some. He begins with some instant takeaways from all 32 NFL teams after their first game of the season and tackles some good, some bad, and some downright ugly performances. In order to put this first week into perspective, Jeff reviews who the top fantasy football scorers were over the last five seasons and where each of them wound up for the full season after the hot start. He then runs through the highest fantasy totals in week one among all players since 2000 and discusses how each fared in those seasons. As usual, Mans counts down his top 10 waiver wire pickups for this week and offers some advice on how to handle roster moves this early in the season. Jeff also addresses the FanDuel outage last Sunday morning and is confused about why he somehow became somebody who was being blamed for it. This leads to an open conversation about why the MansCave Discord room at Fantasy Guru went premium this season and the current climate between analyst and user. It’s a possible Super Bowl preview on Thursday Night Football this week too, and Mans gives out his best bet for the Lions at Bills in Buffalo’s brand-new stadium. 9. One MANS Opinion: Episode 318 – Go Time

    Episode 318

    Show notes

It is getting down to the nitty-gritty, as we have but one week left in the fantasy football draft season, and this week Jeff Mans has declared it to be officially “go time.” Jeff reacts to all of the NFL roster cutdowns and gives the fantasy implications of each. He also tackles the Josh Jacobs situation and breaks down where we go from here with both Jacobs and the Packers backfield. The Lions backfield behind Jahmyr Gibbs is also unclear, as Isiah Pacheco hits IR and undrafted free agent Jacob Saylors becomes the new backup. Mans also updates his stance on Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty, providing historic data that Jeanty shares with just five other running backs in history. As promised, Jeff reveals 10 super deep players that he has his eye on this season who could rise to prominence at some point during the season and who are free in drafts right now. He also gives out his most heavily drafted players in best ball, dynasty, and redraft leagues so far in 2026. 10. One MANS Opinion: Episode 317 – Toughest Decisions

    Episode 317

    Show notes

Obviously he has to address the dreaded Ashton Jeanty injury situation this week and Jeff Mans is on fire as he breaks down the lunacy of folks declaring victory or defeat over nothing more than an ankle injury to the Raiders running back. Mans breaks down how far Jeanty falls and how big of a boost there is for Mike Washington’s value. He also recaps the other injuries around the NFL and gives an update on how he is handling the news of Ja’Marr Chase, Chris Olave, TreVeyon Henderson, Kenneth Walker, and others. Then Jeff reveals four players that he is higher on and four more than he is lower on now in fantasy football compared to a month ago. Then it is time for Jeff's annual list of the top 10 toughest decisions of this fantasy football draft season, which even includes a couple of teammates who are fighting for one premium role on an explosive offense right now. 11. One MANS Opinion: Episode 316 – Jeanty at 2

    Episode 316

    Show notes

This is not the episode that he expected to record, but after a lightning rod of a SiriusXM Host League draft this week, in which Jeff Mans selected Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty second overall, this is what we got. Mans reveals his reasoning for being high on Jeanty this year and why he thought it was the perfect place to take him despite ADP saying otherwise. He also breaks down one more angle of why we should be excited about the second-year running back, and that is his offensive line coach, Rick Dennison. Mans goes over 20 years of Rick Dennison breakout RBs to further drive home the pick. Do not fear, however, as there is plenty of NFL preseason week one recap this week too, including Jeff’s top priority after seeing each team play last week. Finally, it is time for the deep sleeper list of 2026, where Jeff Mans reveals his favorite targets at each position with an ADP of 109+ (round 10+) this season. 12. One MANS Opinion: Episode 315 – 2026 Do Not Draft List

    Episode 315

    Show notes

The big news in the NFL this week is the Vikings naming Kyler Murray as their week one starting QB. Jeff Mans starts out with his reaction to that news and what’s in store for the rest of the Vikings offense this season. Jeff also recaps some of the bigger injuries across NFL Training Camp, including Luther Burden III, Puka Nacua, and a pair of offensive tackles we need to keep our eyes on. Then it is time for Mans to reveal his 2026 fantasy football do-not-draft list, which he does on a position-by-position basis. In total, there are 20 NFL players that Mans is fading going into this season, but as he says, it is all about the cost, not necessarily about the player. He also has a big announcement about fantasy football training camp over at FantasyGuru.com coming up on August 21st and ways to get a ticket to compete against the experts in a season-long competition. Jeff Mans' 2026 fantasy football draft plan, or his “MANS-ifesto,” is live on the Fantasy Guru dot com site right now. Jeff takes us through 16 rounds of fantasy football ADP and reveals his top goals, targets, values, players with most upside, biggest risks, and the players he is not drafting in that range. He also reveals the draft pockets for each round while making his picks for each “league.” It’s the inner workings of a true fantasy football craftsman doing his work. Mans also has some training camp updates, including his thoughts on Parker Washington, Cyrus Allen, Ja’Kobi Lane, TreVeyon Henderson, and Travis Kelce. 14. One MANS Opinion: Episode 313 – Meet Duke Silver

    Episode 313

    Show notes

The time has come for this season’s “all-in” fantasy football player of the year. A player so hot that we cannot even call him by his real name and will henceforth refer to him only by his alias. Jeff Mans would like to introduce you to his good friend for 2026…Mr Duke Silver!! Jeff reviews how each of the code-named players has done since their inception in 2022 and discusses what he’s learned from the process. He also breaks down the list of players who were in consideration this year but who came up short. Then he provides a full childhood, high school, college, and NFL scouting report of this player, taking us step by step through all the concerns that there might be. As it turns out, Mr. Silver has been producing quite a bit over his four-year career, yet according to his ADP this season, he is hiding in plain sight. Keep the name a secret unless you want everybody else in your league to be reminded of him and drive the price up. 15. One MANS Opinion: Episode 312 – Coaching Breakdowns 2026

    Episode 312

    Show notes

His voice is back, and that means nearly an hour and a half of pure fantasy football goodness on tap this week. As promised, Jeff Mans dives deep into all of the NFL coaching changes this offseason and uncovers which players get the biggest upgrades and downgrades as a result. There are 21 new offensive coordinators in the league, and that means some massive differences in personnel, personnel groupings, formations, play design, play calls, pace, and adjustments. If you want to be a difference-making fantasy football player, you need to look deeper than the box scores, which is what Mans is teaching in this episode. Jeff also reviews his entire Scott Fish Bowl team with his thoughts behind picks #1-#20. He discusses how the league format plays such a big part in which players should be in or out of your player pool. 16. One MANS Opinion: Episode 311 – Quick & Quiet

    Episode 311

    Show notes

Normally, his voice can be heard from atop the tallest mountain, but this week, Jeff Mans is as quiet as a church mouse due to a battle with laryngitis. Despite the illness, however, he is battling through to provide a quick breakdown of some of his favorite players for fantasy football this season. This week, Mans uses the information that he learned writing the NFL Coaching Breakdowns on Fantasy Guru dot com to reveal some of his favorite late and super late players at each skill position. For QB, RB, WR, TE, kicker, and DST, Jeff provides at least one of his favorite deep sleepers (rounds 8+) and at least one of his super deep sleepers (rounds 12+). He discusses how each player’s skillset fits the offense and breaks down their path to fantasy production in 2026. Please excuse the raspiness of his voice this week, but for those who love it, Jeff Mans is for hire for birthday parties, bar mitzvahs, and holiday get-togethers for a nominal fee while supplies last. 17. One MANS Opinion: Episode 310 – The Business Side

    Episode 310

    Show notes

The rampant layoffs occurring in the fantasy sports industry prompted Jeff Mans to devote part of this week's show to the business side of fantasy sports. Mans discusses how the industry has changed from when he first started his website in 2005 through the explosion of DFS and high stakes to the current rise of sports betting. Jeff was one of the first ever to partner with a gaming site, and his experience there is what has led to a very different career path within the content space. He also reveals who he chose with his first three picks in the famous Scott Fish Bowl 16 that is going on right now, and why this league has reminded him and all of us that fantasy sports is ultimately supposed to be fun. Then Mans takes a walk through several of the new offensive coordinators around the NFL in 2026. Jeff breaks down the new offenses for the Lions, Chargers, Jets, and Eagles and uncovers which players fit and do not fit the new systems. Show notes

It’s the annual “most underrated team” episode of One Mans Opinion this week, so buckle in for an extra-long show. Jeff Mans reviews the last six years of his surprise teams and totals all of the results. Although they started out hot, the last two years, the underrated teams have been buns. Jeff walks us through the list of teams to consider and why the Las Vegas Raiders were the best choice for 2026. Mans breaks down the ownership, front office, coaching staff, facilities, organizational grades, depth chart, schemes, and schedule to show his work on why this Vegas team is going to surprise people this season. 19. One MANS Opinion: Episode 308 – Mansifesto Revisited

    Episode 308

    Show notes

Earlier in the week, Jeff Mans took a phone call from “Wayne” on the Elite Sports Show, and that caller’s request became the subject of this week's show. Thus, Mans went back and revisited his 2025 Fantasy Football MANSifesto on Fantasy Guru dot com to see just how well or not well the advice turned out to be. In that article, Jeff drafted two separate teams based on his beliefs back in July of 2025. How did those two teams perform when plugged into a simulator? Mans reveals those results, including playoff advancement rate and championships won here. He also goes over every single player at every single position that he recommended to target and fade at their cost. There were some great hits, one legendary miss, and a ton of useful information that can help us make better decisions in 2026. Jeff also covers some of the latest news around the NFL, including the league shutting out Texas Tech QB Branden Sorsby. 20. One MANS Opinion: Episode 307 – World Cup of Wide Receivers

    Episode 307

    Show notes

Jeff Mans is in a World Cup state of mind this week as he wrestles with the idea of watching soccer while also being incredibly bored and distracted at the same time. So, he invented his own game inspired by the World Cup, in which he pits every wide receiver in the NFL against one another in a steel cage-like tournament decided by a simple math formula of his own creation. First, he finds the WRs on each team that he has the most interest in based on their current market price, then he puts them into a bracket sorted alphabetically by NFL team name. Mans rolls through each matchup explaining what he likes and dislikes about each player and whittles the field down to the final four, the championship matchup, and finally the lone victor of the 2026 World Cup of Wide Receivers. Jeff also hits on NFL news, the Knicks winning the NBA Finals, the Carolina Hurricanes winning the Stanley Cup, and the future of his SXM radio show.
