Tundra FM: Breathe Through It
Episode 175
Show notes
Frost on the booth window and Patriots week in Green Bay. Brick Lombardi remembers an ice-storm overnight shift from 1996, when the station's tower kept icing up and a farmer called in to say thanks for the company, then plays Radio's Still On. We Pack Light sends the Packers east to Foxborough, with Micah Parsons possibly back on the practice field for individual drills this week.
Then the world premiere of Breathe Through It, a brand-new classic soul song for Christian Watson, who broke a rib Thursday night and came back to catch eight passes for 113 yards.

From The Vault: Ryan's OTA Preview and the Stats Case for Jordan Love Over Goff (May 24)
Episode 7
Show notes
From the Packernet vault, originally aired May 24, 2026.
Memorial Day weekend episode. OTAs kick off Tuesday, with media access Wednesday, and Ryan previews what to expect: voluntary, no pads, teaching speed, and the usual first-look injury watch. Key things to track: who fills in at right tackle with Zach Tom not ready to practice, how the cornerback room shakes out between Keisean Nixon, Brandon Cisse and Javon Bullard, and whether the roster's settled feel (the most settled of the Love era, Ryan says) holds up on the field.
Then: the Lions angle on the NFC North QB debate. Pat McAfee's whole panel called Goff the best QB in the division. Reddit's r/detroitlions agrees. Ryan does not. PFF grades tell a different story: Love sits at 89 overall, Goff at 78, and Caleb at 77 overall and 72 as a passer. Big-time throw rate: Love 5.9%, Caleb 5.4%, Goff 2.7%. Goff wins on passer rating (105.5) and adjusted completion (80%). He's accurate, careful, and productive, but those are team-influenced, noisy metrics.
Which leads to a full stats literacy rant: the ecological fallacy, wins as a team stat wrongly credited to one player, Rutgers' Data 101 course, and a standing invitation for the crayons-and-juice-box crowd to stop muddying QB debates. Ryan teases tomorrow's full NFC North QB comparison: the fortissimo.

Front Row in Foxborough: What a $1,400 Seat Buys, the Vikings Finally Lose, and a Banged-Up Patriots Team
Episode 174
Show notes
What would you pay to sit in the front row in Foxborough? Cal Hutson does the HVAC-guy math on a $1,400 seat for Packers at Patriots, after his son Henry takes charge of the cumin at Sunday chili night.
Plus Sunday's results: the Lions hand the Vikings their first loss, 19-15, behind 153 yards from Jahmyr Gibbs, and the NFC North gets tight. The Patriots rally in the rain to beat Miami 24-19, but they're banged up. Cal also previews Bears at Seahawks on Monday night and gives the latest on Micah Parsons, Christian Watson and the Jonathan Taylor talk before the November 10 deadline.

Tundra FM: Twenty-One Days
Episode 174
Show notes
The ten-day wait is almost over, and Brick Lombardi spends a Monday night on comebacks. Smack That is a vote of confidence for rookie kicker Trey Smack after a hard fall, and Relentless Reload is for Micah Parsons' long road back from his knee injury, after Brick gets lost on the way to Door County and has to buy a paper map.
Then the world premiere of Twenty-One Days, a brand-new R&B slow jam counting down Micah's practice window, for everybody leaving the porch light on.
If Tundra FM keeps you company, subscribe, leave a rating, and share it with a friend who's counting the days too. Go Pack Go!
Twenty-One Days
[Intro] (Rhodes, soft hum) Ooh... count 'em with me... Twenty-one...
[Verse 1] Been a long December, been a long cold year, Watched you from the sideline, never far from here, Every rep in silence, every step you made, Nobody saw the work, baby, nobody saw the weight. Now the door is open, there's a light down the hall, Green Bay holding its breath, waiting on the call.
[Pre-Chorus] And I know, I know, Good things take their time, So I'll wait, I'll wait, Every day in line...
[Chorus] Twenty-one days, and you're coming home, Twenty-one nights, leave the porch light on, Every single morning I'll be counting the ways, Twenty-one days, twenty-one days.
[Verse 2] Cold front coming over, snow is on the way, The town is buying turkeys, saying any day, Brothers on the edge are holding down the line, Keeping your spot warm 'til the clock runs out of time. Take it slow, take it easy, let that knee get right, We've been waiting all year, we can wait a few more nights.
[Bridge] (stripped down, falsetto) Three weeks... three weeks... That's all that's left between us... (harmonies swell) Come on home... come on home...
[Final Chorus] (full harmonies, key change) Twenty-one days, and you're coming home, Twenty-one nights, leave the porch light on, Lambeau's gonna shake when you come back through the gates, Twenty-one days, twenty-one days.
[Outro] (Rhodes fades, soft hum) Count 'em with me... Twenty-one... [end]

Packernet After Dark PAD: From The Vault: Schedule Reactions, 4 Nicos & a Christmas Day Promise (May 19)
Episode 2
Show notes
From the Packernet After Dark vault, originally aired May 19, 2026.
Chris from Alabama likes the Week 11 bye, worries about early-season heat in Tampa, and is planning to make the Week 13 game his first live NFL game. Ryan reminds everyone OTAs start next week. Uncle Rico hopes Savion Williams breaks out this year, then calls back from a work trip in Nashville, where the work part keeps losing out to downtown.
Kyle from Madison dubs the Packers' social media style "local car dealer" and loves getting nine home games. Then come four separate Nico calls: the first three games look like layups, the Bears are getting a rotten Christmas present, he wants somebody to bring the fire after Chicago roughed up the quarterback last year, and with a healthy offense, the Packers could put up 30 a game while Micah Parsons is out. In between, Ryan wonders why Chicago has been so quiet this offseason after winning the division.
Batman breaks the season into sections and lands on 12-5 and a division title. Ryan's response: good teams still lose games, so appreciate the wins. Batman calls back to praise the Packers' authentic social media, and Ryan runs through the schedule videos that hit (the Simpsons one, the Chiefs infomercial) and the ones that missed (the Jaguars haircut, and the Lions coach pinning the schedule to a board).

From The Vault: Ryan Discusses Jefferson Is the Pat Mahomes of Wide Receivers (May 23)
Episode 6
Show notes
From the Packernet vault, originally aired May 23, 2026.
Ryan continues his NFC North rivals series by turning the microscope on the Vikings. The hook: Vikings fans are quietly confident that Kyler Murray is going to be their savior. Ryan digs into the actual numbers and finds a quarterback who completes just 21% of his passes that travel 25+ yards (dead last among qualified QBs) and ranks dead last in EPA per attempt on throws of 10+ yards since 2022. His career pattern (really good, really bad, really good, really bad) doesn't exactly scream second Sam Darnold situation. No team bid on him. Arizona is paying him to play elsewhere. The league has voted.
Then things get spicy. A Vikings podcast declares a "top three receiver tandem" and Ryan nearly loses it. PFF check: Jefferson dropped to an 80 grade (17th league-wide), Addison at 61 (second-lowest WR grade in the NFC North), and T.J. Hockenson at 62 (dead last among legit starting tight ends). Vikings receivers are fourth in the NFC North, behind Detroit, Green Bay, and probably Chicago. Jefferson is the Pat Mahomes of wide receivers: still commanding top billing years after the data stopped supporting it.
The episode closes with a tease: Lions fans and Jared Goff are next, then the big NFC North QB comparison. Ryan was going to call it the crescendo, looked the word up mid-show, and settled on "fortissimo."

Show notes
Evening. If you're still up, the dishes are done, and the house has gone quiet, this one's for you. [pause] Brick Lombardi, Tundra F M, on the Pack-er-net Podcast Network. No Packers today. First Sunday in a while I didn't have to pace the living room. [laughs] I paced anyway. Habit. [beat] Stay with me until the very end. There's a brand-new song tonight, and it's something different for this old radio. Cal Hutson on the Pack-er-net Podcast took everybody inside Lambeau Field today, and Big Sal on Let Me Tell You Somethin' went through every injury, one by one. Fresh Cut Lines
[Intro] (distant mower hum, stadium echo) No game today... But the work don't stop...
[Verse 1] Sunday morning, empty bowl, Eighty thousand seats, not a single soul, Mower's running, back and forth, Cutting stripes from the south to the north. Thirty miles of heat down below, Keep the roots warm through the snow, Nobody's watching, nobody's there, Just the crew and the cold clean air.
[Pre-Chorus] (filter build) Back and forth, back and forth, Back and forth, back and forth...
[Chorus] Fresh cut lines, fresh cut lines, Getting Lambeau ready one more time, Paint the G, light it up, When they come home, it'll be enough, Fresh cut lines!
[Drop] (big drop, chopped vocal) Fresh... cut... lines... (Lambeau!) Fresh... cut... lines...
[Verse 2] Bucket of paint and a steady hand, Painting the end zone for the band, Hundred some gallons, white and gold, Gotta be perfect, so I'm told. Guys on the mend in the training room, Getting right for November's bloom, Leave the porch light on in Titletown, Next time home, we're gonna shake the ground.
[Bridge] (breakdown, pads only, whispered) Quiet house... warm ground... Somebody's always keeping it... For you...
[Final Drop] (biggest drop, full vocal chops) Fresh cut lines! (Lambeau!) Fresh cut lines! (Green and gold!) Fresh cut lines!
[Outro] (beat filters out, mower hum fades) No game today... But the work don't stop... [end]

Packernet After Dark PAD: From The Vault: NFL Schedule Drops & the Crew Reacts (May 15)
Episode 1
Show notes
From the Packernet After Dark vault, originally aired May 15, 2026.
Garrett opens the phones reacting to the early schedule leaks: he's fine with the Wednesday game against the Rams, but a Christmas Day game is going to be a tough sell in a house full of family. Ryan takes it further - holidays like Christmas should be off limits for the NFL, period. Drew loves that the Packers get the first-ever Thanksgiving Eve game and the Week 11 bye, and wonders why Green Bay hasn't chased international fans. Ryan respects the Packers putting winning ahead of expansion.
Nico is glad the Packers aren't going overseas - Ryan says those games always sound cooler in theory. Batman wanted the Bears in Week 1 to crush Chicago's soul after that playoff collapse, but Ryan would rather see Micah Parsons make his return against the Bears at Lambeau in Week 5.
Jared from Houston loves the claymation release video, but not opening with two road games. Ryan says the NFL was downright gracious: a light early slate, the Bears at home around Micah's return and a home-heavy finish. Beer Cheese Benny raves about the Clay Matthews reveal and might make the Tampa game. Ryan closes by ranking the league's schedule videos: the Bears' was annoyingly good, the Lions' was embarrassing, and the Packers' landed in the middle of the pack.

From The Vault: Ryan on Caleb Williams, Top 5 QB? The Numbers Say Otherwise (May 22)
Episode 5
Show notes
From the Packernet vault, originally aired May 22, 2026.
Ryan opens with a quick sweep of NFC North schedule optimism, with every content creator from Chicago to Detroit to Minneapolis projecting double-digit wins, despite what Vegas says. But the main event is a full breakdown of the Foss Sports Talk video asking whether Caleb Williams is already a top-5 quarterback in the NFL.
Spoiler: he isn't. Ryan goes line by line through the argument. 47 touchdowns in two years isn't impressive when Lamar had 66 and Burrow had 60 in the same span, and Caleb ranked 14th in touchdowns last season. Durability is a tiebreaker, not a qualifier. And the "future potential" logic applies equally to Cam Ward, Drake Maye, and every other 23-year-old with an arm. Colin Cowherd put Caleb third and Mike Florio agreed, which Ryan takes as further confirmation that Bears fans run on vibes while Packers fans run on data.
Meanwhile, Jordan Love sits 4th in PFF's overall quarterback grades. Caleb, in Ryan's view, isn't even a top-10 quarterback yet. Ryan closes with an open invitation: show him one actual data point that puts Williams in the top 10. He'll wait.

Plus what it all means: a pass rush by committee that still got six sacks, Isaiah McDuffie and Ty'Ron Hopper holding the linebacker room together, why the run game can't get going, and what the ten days before New England could fix. And Gigi, the leaf pile, and the wind.

No Packers game today, so Cal Hutson takes you inside Lambeau Field. Why every person needs a ticket, even a baby on your lap. Then behind the scenes: more than a thousand game-day workers, a field stitched with over 2,500 miles of fiber, 145 gallons of paint per game, over 30 miles of heating pipe under the grass, the Ice Bowl and Lombardi's Folly, the public snow shovelers, and more cheese curds than brats. From The Vault: NFC North Schedule Ryan's Reaction: Who's Scared of Green Bay? (May 21)
Episode 4
Show notes
From the Packernet vault, originally aired May 21, 2026.
The 2026 NFL schedule is out, and Ryan does something more useful than reading the Packers' games in order. He goes division-wide to see how the Vikings, Lions and Bears are feeling about their slate, and specifically what each fanbase thinks about facing Green Bay.
The Vikings are the story. The optimism is loud and the Packers disrespect is real. Week one at home is already being called a win, Kyler Murray is apparently the missing piece to eleven-plus wins, and Brian Flores is apparently worth more than an actual roster. Ryan is not pleased. The Lions are a different conversation: they give Green Bay its due, acknowledge the Packers swept them last year, and know they have something to prove. The Bears land somewhere in the middle, with plenty of assumptions about Caleb Williams taking a big jump in year two under Ben Johnson, but at least they treat the Christmas matchup at Soldier Field like it matters.
Ryan's takeaway: all four NFC North fanbases are projecting double-digit wins. Someone's going to be very wrong.

Then the world premiere of Six Sacks of Candy, a brand-new Halloween rap with a haunted organ about Thursday night: a defense that went door to door, Tucker Kraft's revenge touchdown, Matthew Golden's drop and catch, Christian Watson walking back in with a broken rib, and a last-play ball that floated like a haunted balloon.

[Verse 1] Thursday night and the fog rolled off the bay, Panthers came to Lambeau dressed up for the holiday, But the porch light's green and the candy's gold, And the tundra gets hungry when the nights get cold. [Hook] Six sacks of candy! (Six!) Bag gettin' heavy! (Heavy!) Knock knock, Bryce, we already in the house! Six sacks of candy! (Six!) Green and gold ghouls, Lambeau after dark, we make the rules!
[Verse 2] Kraft came back to the scene of the crime, Same team that hurt him, now he scoring this time, Josh hit ten thousand, ain't no costume, that's real, Golden dropped the first one, next play sealed the deal. Watson broke a rib, had to go see the doc, Came back before the third quarter ran off the clock, Like a ghost in the hallway, you thought he was gone, Turned around, there he was, with his helmet still on!
[Hook] Six sacks of candy! (Six!) Bag gettin' heavy! (Heavy!) Knock knock, Bryce, we already in the house! Six sacks of candy! (Six!) Green and gold ghouls, Lambeau after dark, we make the rules!
[Bridge] (organ breakdown, whispered) Last play... the ball goes up... Comes back down... goes up... One more time, floatin' like a haunted balloon... Cox Jr. falls on it... and the night is through... (evil laugh)
[Verse 3] Ten days off, then New England's next, Pass the bag around, Pack, we earned the rest, Kids in Love jerseys running up the street, Every porch in Wisconsin got a Packers treat!
[Final Hook] (full gang vocals) SIX SACKS OF CANDY! (Six!) Bag gettin' heavy! (Heavy!) Knock knock, Bryce, we already in the house! SIX SACKS OF CANDY! (Six!) Green and gold ghouls, Lambeau after dark, we make the rules!

Tundra FM: Brewers and Packers; Green, Blue and Gold Best Day Ever!
Episode 171
Show notes
Packers 27, Panthers 19, and somewhere around the end of the first quarter, the Milwaukee Brewers took over Lambeau Field. Brick Lombardi looks back on the happiest, strangest Thursday night he's seen in Green Bay: Brandon Woodruff carrying the World Series trophy out of the tunnel, Sal Frelick's Lambeau Leap, Bernie Brewer in the stands, and the Racing Sausages running the field while grandson Max wants to know who won.
You'll hear Thursday Night at Lambeau and Brats, then the world premiere of Green, Blue and Gold, a brand-new funk song with slap bass and horns about six sacks, a drop that turned into a touchdown, Christian Watson's quick trip to the doctor, a popcorn football ending, and why there's nowhere like Wisconsin to be a sports fan.

From The Vault: Ryan on Rodgers Retiring, Browns QBs & Tucker Kraft Is Just Elite (May 20)
Episode 3
Show notes
From the Packernet vault, originally aired May 20, 2026.
Aaron Rodgers says he'll retire after the 2026 season. He thought he was done in Pittsburgh once Mike Tomlin walked away, then McCarthy got hired and here we are. One last rodeo. Ryan's genuinely entertained.
The Browns quarterback situation is objectively hilarious. Deshaun Watson is operating as the starter. Dillon Gabriel is second in line. Shedeur Sanders, the guy most people assumed would start, is third. Dillon Gabriel, by the way, has had the NFL's lowest EPA per dropback since 2025. Just ahead of Shedeur Sanders.
Then: a deep dive into Tucker Kraft, sparked by a Hayden Winks chart showing Kraft with the second-highest yards per target in football. Bears fans lost their minds. Ryan lost his patience. He pulled every stat he could find: 4.16 yards per route run in man coverage (nearly double second place), a perfect 158.3 passer rating when targeted in man coverage, and 17 targets, 14 catches, 241 yards and four TDs. The guy who supposedly "can't beat man coverage" is the best man-coverage tight end in the NFL. Ryan would like Bears fans to bring receipts next time.
Also: the full Marlon Jones story (cancer survivor, Eastern Washington to Vanderbilt, UDFA), the Eagles locker room chaos, and the case for staying off social media and just putting it on the podcast instead.
