The Pages Court: Disneyland Vs WDW: Tomorrowland Showdown- EP.133
Season 1, Episode 33
Show notes
The first episode of The Pages Court is now in session! Join Danny and CJ as they debate which US park boasts the best Tomorrowland. Danny defends Disneyland while CJ represents Walt Disney World. From opening statements, to food and beverage, to closing statements, things play out in a new style here on Parks and Pages! Which of the lands is more your style? Which one wins the debate? Let us know on social media or in Mail Call!
On the topic of Mail Call, Andrew from Vegas pits the two parks against each other when it comes to runDisney events. As someone who’s experienced runDisney in Disneyland, he’s curious what differences to expect at Walt Disney World. While they both may feature runs through theme parks, there are some major differences.
Our special segment takes us to a time in Tomorrowland when all the plants were edible and had their distinct use. While we note to NOT eat the plants that don’t belong to you, Tim brings some humor and insight as to what it meant for Tomorrowland at the time! Don’t miss this segment if you’re a Tomorrowland fan!

Survive Your Stay: EPCOT- EP.131
Season 1, Episode 32
Show notes
It’s the return of Survive Your Stay — our listener-favorite, “end-of-the-world” Disney Parks scenario, in which our hosts inhabit EPCOT during the apocalypse. What are their plans for the future? What attraction or area becomes their home base? What do they use for resources and food? So many questions to answer in this wacky “what if?” scenario. If you’re a fan of unique discussions about Walt Disney World, this topic will surely spark your imagination and creativity!
Plus, we look back to our recent “Disney Parks Solo” show in our mail call segment. James from NY writes in with a cautionary lesson about his own solo park day experience, reminding listeners of the importance of advocating for yourself while on a solo trip. Eating and drinking appropriately play a BIG role on your day, and James’ personal lesson drives that home.
And Riley brings her Lorcana experience to the show in another Core Memory Corner, where she relives her experience participating in the Lorcana Illumineer’s Quest at the Festival of the Arts earlier this year. She learned about trading and collecting and found her own appreciation for the card art, all because of the festival. She hopes there will be more this coming year!

How We Disney: Park Photography- EP.131
Season 1, Episode 31
Show notes
Shutterbugs, assemble! It’s time for Danny and CJ to share some of their favorite photography tips for any fellow or aspiring Disney Parks photographers! From their kits and gear to their tips and tricks, there are NO secrets kept in the Parks Pod Fam! Curious how to get started or what you can do to get the most out of your camera phone? Our hosts have you covered with all their combined experiences, and they’ll have you snapping those perfect castle photos in no time.
Kicking off with Mail Call, the hosts are cast with the idea of refurbishing a current attraction to “plus.” No preserving or paving today — just picking a favorite attraction to upgrade. Lots of discussion around the potential upgrades, but what two attractions do they settle on for this listener question?
The middle segment brings back our dedicated friend and listener Andrew, who gives us a difficult and slightly divisive “this-or-that” scenario. Are you a table-service or quick-service diner? This really drives home not only what type of eater you are, but how you tour the parks, and CJ and Danny have a lot of thoughts.
We also want to hear more from you. We are planning a listener-driven “this-or-that” episode and need you all to submit your impossible this-or-that scenarios for our hosts! Email, call, or hit us up on social media and bring all you got!

Season 1, Episode 26
Show notes
The Magic of Disney Animation has opened its doors, and Danny and Tim were among some of the first to experience the newest addition to Hollywood Studios. What did they think? Visiting Walt Disney World as a DVC Member EP.120
Season 1, Episode 20
Show notes
What’s it like to visit Walt Disney World as a Disney Vacation Club Member? This week, Danny and Steph relive a recent trip where they experienced a Disney vacation through the eyes of DVC members. As non-DVC members, this was a truly educational experience, and there’s a lot to unpack in this trip report show. Thank you to Disney for hosting us on a 3-night Disney Vacation Club Membership Magic stay.
CJ brings another On Location Mini Segment, reliving his recent WDW Magazine assignment at Level 99. The newest addition to Disney Springs was such a “wow” to him, and he explains why he wants to see this new experience thrive in the Disney bubble. Food, beverage, and entertainment — it really has it all to CJ.
Mail Call defends Danny and soothes his worry over paving the Mickey beignets, a move he was sure would be contentious. Instead, Jess comes to his defense and pits the gentlemen and Steph with a fairly difficult choice to make regarding some Disney entertainment no longer in the parks.

Ballin' On A Budget: Disney's Animal Kingdom EP.119
Season 1, Episode 19
Show notes
Join in for ALL the “DAK SNAKS” as Tim, CJ, and friend of the podcast, Carly Caramanna, Ball on a Budget in Disney’s Animal Kingdom to test just how far $100 dollars can get you! The trio enjoys breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even cocktails and sit-down meals, proving you can budget your days without compromising great meals and snacks. Want the newest and most viral treat in the park or to enjoy a cold beer on a walk through one of the trails? This episode has you covered (though listening with snacks in reach is recommended). Don't miss this episode if you're a Disney foodie!
Tatjana brings a new take on This or That with a question that forces you to consider what kind of Walt Disney World Resort guest you are and what things are a priority. There's no backing out of this incredibly tough choice, so let us know what YOU choose over on our Instagram post!
The show kicks off with some listener involvement as Jenn Q drops a call from Cali! She brings a very fun and somewhat “controversial” question by asking our hosts what they deem their most “overrated attraction.” CJ may have ruffled some host and listener feathers with his answer, but it's not far off from the attraction that started the entire conversation. This will definitely need an episode of its own one day, but for now, don't miss out on Mail Call!!
Big thank you to @adventuresbycarly for joining the podcast again and bringing her savvy spending skills to another episode. For more on Carly’s cookbook, click here.

Desert Island Disney: 90's Movie Edition EP.118
Season 1, Episode 18
Show notes
Hey, ’90s kids, we are SO back! Join CJ, Danny, and their special guest host, Adam Bankhurst, as they discuss their desert island Disney movies of the 1990s (list). Each host gets three movies to stow away in his survival bag for their desert island adventure. Which movies do they each pick? Are there any crossovers? Any unpopular picks? There's a lot of laughs as the guys discuss and defend their choices. Even some sequels make the cut over their originals, and some choices may be a little too on the nose for the living arrangement. Don’t miss out on the chuckles and drop a listen now!
The episode starts with a listener’s own This or That scenario, pitting Magic Kingdom’s premier ticketed parties (Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party vs. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party) against each other. Which way will CJ and Danny vote? Mail call continues with an email that reminds us just how powerful this little Parks & Pages community already is!
Steph returns for a mid-break segment, this time highlighting the iconic Disney VHS tapes of the ’90s. Did you have a Black Diamond collection tape? Are you digging deep for Disney nostalgia? This is definitely the segment (and show topic) for you! For more on the history of Disney VHS, check out our deep dive online.

Halfway To The Holidays: Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Vs Jollywood Nights EP.117
Season 1, Episode 17
Show notes
The holidays are a big deal at Walt Disney World — and the planning starts each summer. As such, today’s episode is packed with Christmas cheer! One of the biggest Christmas fans (and CEO of the company), Steph, joins CJ and Danny to compare, contrast, and ultimately choose between Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights. Does the classic Magic Kingdom party take the crown, or is it the newer, jazzier gig in town that won the hosts over? The glitz and glam of Jollywood or the nostalgic feel of snoap on Main Street: Join in the fun to see which takes the fruitcake.
Also in this episode, CJ brings another truly challenging This or That scenario, with a holiday twist. It’s a difficult choice that had Danny and Steph on different sides of the coin. An empty Magic Kingdom is a piece of the puzzle, and we can’t wait to hear your answers!
As always, the podcast kicks off with some listener involvement, so keep those emails and calls coming! From some favorite merch of a listener to a question regarding inclement weather, you always bring something fun to discuss and our hosts and community love it. Keep those ice breakers coming! If you want to shop Steph’s favorite Circa 1955 scent, EXCLUSIVELY returning for our listeners, check out the Parks and Pages Collection: HERE

Disney Destinations: Vero Beach EP. 116
Season 1, Episode 16
Show notes
What happens when you mix Disney magic with the perfect beach vacation? Join CJ and Danny as they relive a vacation CJ and his family took to Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, thanks to our friend and sponsors, David’s Vacation Club Rentals. This episode is best viewed on YouTube to see CJ’s photography, but you can enjoy the deep dive into this beautiful resort from anywhere. Learn some resort history, why the design of the resort has a direct influence on turtle nesting, and what it’s like staying at a resort with more limited dining options. Stepping outside the parks may surprise you, but there’s still plenty of magic at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort!
James from NY brings a brand-new variation on Mail Call and adds to our visual show with a video message from Las Vegas! What do a trip to Vegas and a recent Preserve, Pave, or Plus have in common? Find out in this week’s Mail Call! We also receive a touching email from listener Scott and a voicemail from a special friend and sponsor of the podcast, Circa Nicole from Circa 1955.
We are also joined by our youngest contributor, Riley, for another Core Memory Corner, where she adds her memories from Vero Beach. If you have some little ones yourself, definitely bring them along for the CMC chat!

Disney History: Walt and His Trains EP. 115
Season 1, Episode 15
Show notes
Disney History: Walt and His Trains
Trains are a core part of the Disney experience at parks around the globe. In today’s episode, Matt Krul of Imagination Skyway joins Danny and CJ to discuss the deep and storied history of the Disney family and their connection to the locomotive industry. They discuss a wide range of stories, including Walt’s early days as a news butcher on the railroad, a legally binding document between Walt and Lillian regarding a train project, and, of course, the story of how the trains themselves are true markers for Walt’s inspiring life lessons.
Kicking the show off, CJ and Danny answer a listener call from Molly, who brings some playful “mom guilt” to the show about our Preserve, Pave, or Plus decisions. She also delivers her own foodie-forward “P3” for the hosts to answer. How do they do?
The mid-break segment is a brand-new addition. Join CJ as he goes on location with the Animal Care team at Disney’s Animal Kingdom to see baby giraffe Ivy take her first steps onto the Kilimanjaro Safaris! Complete with an interview from an Animal Care specialist, this is a special segment for any animal lover. For more on Lily, read our blog post: HERE!
