My best friend found an old paranormal forum and became obsessed with the rituals people were sharing there.

I was alone at a remote cabin when two little girls showed up at my door after midnight asking to be let inside. I never opened the door. I only spoke to them through the peephole, and at first they looked almost normal. Then the older sister showed me a handmade doll that looked exactly like me, down to the clothes I had changed into after I arrived. It was covered in pins, and somehow she could use it to make my body move. That was when I realized they weren’t lost, and they definitely hadn’t come there alone. Something they called Mother was waiting in the woods.

This one is about a night shift morgue worker who starts experiencing things she can’t explain, but the cameras keep showing absolutely nothing.

At first it’s small stuff. Knocking. A gurney moving. Then she watches a body sit straight up, starts seeing a woman around the morgue, and realizes whatever is happening seems to know exactly when she’s looking at the security footage.

I like this story because the scariest part isn’t just what she sees. It’s that she has no proof any of it is happening, and eventually she starts questioning herself too.

In the 1960s, a family living at 30 East Drive in Pontefract, England began reporting increasingly violent activity inside their home.

Objects moved. Furniture was thrown. Strange banging filled the house.

Then their teenage daughter Diane became the target.

According to her family, an unseen force grabbed her and began dragging her up the staircase while they fought to pull her back.

Later, multiple people claimed to see a tall hooded figure inside the house , the entity that would eventually become known as the Black Monk of Pontefract.

But the deeper you go into this case, the stranger it gets. Some incidents may have been exaggerated or faked, and the historical story supposedly explaining who the Black Monk was appears to have serious holes.
