WWE SMACKDOWN WAS A SOLID SHOW... BUT THAT MAIN EVENT MISTAKE! | OCTOBER 30, 2026

What a fun night of wrestling! 🤝 This week's Halloween-themed WWE SmackDown was a genuinely good show as we headed down the stretch toward Crown Jewel, and Greg and Brad found plenty to enjoy from top to bottom.

💥 From Chelsea Green surviving Nikki Bella with the Women's Championship before chaotic Judgment Day and Tiffany Stratton drama erupted, to Rey Fenix and Ricky Saints putting on an absolute cruiserweight masterclass, the card delivered some really strong action!

But why on earth was the incredible "Very Nice, Very Evil" Danhausen segment—featuring the explosive return of "Demon" Finn Balor destroying Gunther—shoved anywhere other than the actual main event slot?! Giving us a screwy, interference-heavy Sami Zayn vs. Trick Williams world title match finish instead of letting Danhausen and the Demon headline was a massive booking miss that kept a good show from being a great one.

🔥 Let's talk about it! Greg and Brad are breaking down everything that worked, why the mid-card stole the show, and why Danhausen and the Demon deserved that prime real estate to close the night.

🤼‍♀️ WOMEN'S WRESTLING TAKES OVER SMACKDOWN... AND THE MEN WON'T STOP TALKING! | OCTOBER 23, 2026

💥 WOW! WOMEN OF WWE! This week's WWE SmackDown was brought to you by women's wrestling! We had multiple championship matches, a TITLE CHANGE, and plenty of action! Oh, and just to make sure nobody forgot about them, we also had a bunch of men standing around TALKING! Because apparently, that's wrestling too!

🎙️ ERIC B TO THE RESCUE! With Brad facing a ridiculously busy day, Eric B steps in at the last minute to save the show! Can he keep things on track, or will the chaos of WWE creative prove too much for even him?!

🏆 WHERE IN THE WORLD IS THE NEXT WWE PLE?! We're building toward another Premium Live Event, which sounds fantastic! There's just one tiny problem... DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHERE THIS THING IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING?! Apparently, knowing the location is optional when you've got a wrestling show to promote!

🚨 HOLLA HOLLA HOLLA! Teddy Long might not be on SmackDown, but his spirit is ALIVE AND WELL! What starts as an impromptu tag team match somehow becomes an impromptu SIX-MAN TAG MATCH! Somewhere, Teddy Long is smiling and getting ready to tell somebody they're going ONE-ON-ONE WITH THE UNDERTAKER!

🎃 DANHAUSEN IS COMING FOR HALLOWEEN! Our Halloween episode is shaping up to be VERY NICE, VERY EVIL! Danhausen will be all over the show, and hopefully Greg will be too! Because what's scarier than Halloween? Trying to figure out WWE booking decisions!

😂 Between women's championship action, men who apparently get paid by the word, mystery PLE planning, and Teddy Long's ghost running the matchmaking department, we've got plenty to laugh about!

👇 WAS THIS A WIN FOR THE WOMEN OF WWE?! Did the title change deliver? Are we bringing back Teddy Long's booking philosophy? And are you ready for a little DANHAUSEN this Halloween?! Drop your thoughts in the comments!

🤦 WWE SMACKDOWN WAS CRUEL AND UNUSUAL PUNISHMENT?! | OCTOBER 16, 2026

What did Eric ever do to deserve THIS?! 🎂😴 This week's WWE SmackDown was only made bearable because my good friend Eric, the former Raw Dog, stopped by to hang out and celebrate his birthday! Unfortunately, WWE apparently decided the best birthday present was two hours of absolute NOTHING!

💥 Seriously, WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THIS SHOW?! One good line doesn't make an entire show! They don't call him Johnny Entrance, and they certainly don't call this episode of SmackDown Entertaining! Instead of building excitement for an upcoming Premium Live Event that might not even happen, WWE seemed completely lost! Endless recaps, matches with bizarre endings, and enough filler to make you wonder if the creative team even bothered showing up!

🤷 It felt like WWE didn't know what to do with this episode, so they just threw together a bunch of highlights and hoped nobody would notice! Well, WE NOTICED!

🔥 WHY DOES WWE HATE ERIC SO MUCH?! The man just wanted to enjoy his birthday, hang out with a friend, and watch some decent wrestling. WAS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?!

👇 WAS THIS ONE OF THE WORST SMACKDOWNS OF THE YEAR?! Did WWE actually accomplish anything, or were they just killing time? And most importantly, WHAT DID ERIC DO TO DESERVE THIS?! Drop your thoughts in the comments!

🤦 WWE SMACKDOWN WAS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME?! | OCTOBER 9, 2026

What on earth was THAT?! 😴 This week's WWE SmackDown was supposed to get us hyped for Money in the Bank, but did it actually deliver? From underwhelming segments and forgettable matches to a main event that went absolutely nowhere, this show left A LOT to be desired!

💥 Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley captured the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships, Cody Rhodes had some choice words for Randy Orton, and Sami Zayn, CM Punk, and Kevin Owens went face-to-face ahead of Money in the Bank.

But was one title change enough to save an otherwise disappointing night? And what was the point of the Trick Williams vs. Bron Breakker main event ending in chaos instead of giving us a satisfying finish?!

🔥 Let's talk about it! I'm breaking down everything that went wrong, the moments that missed the mark, and why this episode of SmackDown left me seriously frustrated.

👇 DID YOU ENJOY THIS WEEK'S SMACKDOWN, OR DID YOU THINK IT SUCKED TOO? Drop your thoughts in the comments — let's hear it!

Last night’s WWE SmackDown delivered huge moments, shocking interference, and major Money in the Bank implications! The road to WWE Money in the Bank 2026 is heating up, and the blue brand is becoming more unpredictable by the week!

💥 Tiffany Stratton secured her spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, while Kevin Owens survived a chaotic Triple Threat against Cody Rhodes and Johnny Gargano to punch his ticket into the Men’s match.

😱 But the biggest moment of the night came when Randy Orton interfered and cost Cody the victory! Their rivalry continues to escalate, and things are getting VERY personal.

Meanwhile, Sami Zayn found himself surrounded by potential challengers for the Undisputed WWE Championship, Ricky Saints continued his issues with Rey Fenix, and Blake Monroe finally made her long-awaited SmackDown in-ring debut against Giulia!

With Money in the Bank 2026 getting closer, the stakes are higher than ever. Who will climb the ladder and secure a guaranteed championship opportunity? And what happens next between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton? 👀

👇 What was YOUR biggest moment from SmackDown? Let us know in the comments!

As we watched SmackDown on Dolly Parton Day, we talk a little about our 9-5 jobs.

SmackDown this week was uninspired.

It’s probably not worth your time.

And if you listened to last week’s show…Brad was right.

Greg is back from his very special assignment. He’s already regretting his life choices.

We’re talking about this week's SmackDown from Corpus Christi.

Sami is the new champ.

Cody sits down with Vince, I mean Michael Cole.

MITB Qualifiers.

Assistant GM Danhausen is busy.

Brad the Dad is joined by Erik B while Greg is away on a “special assignment.”

This week, SmackDown comes to us from Mexico City, where apparently everything is better at elevation—including the wrestling. With four title matches and one major title change, this show shakes up SmackDown and hopefully creates enough chaos to get people coming back for more.

Which championship changed hands? What side tangents do Brad and Erik go on about wrestling and pop culture? And what exactly has Erik been up to all these months?

SmackDown this week was pre-recorded on Monday, August 24th.

So, we read the spoilers.

And after reading the spoilers, neither of us watched SmackDown.

But we’ll talk about what we read, and why WWE is being lazy.

Yeah..Greg was right… we can’t have nice things.

We’re in Toronto tonight.

The show wasn’t terrible, until you got to the end.

It put Greg and Brad in a mood.

Programming Notice - With Taped Shows next two weeks, we’re likely phoning it in too.

We were excited to watch SmackDown this week from Boston.

WWE managed to take that joy and stomp on it.

The first half of the show was pretty great. All things considered.

Then it took a nose-dive off a cliff.

Next week is Toronto, how can WWE make it worse? Tune in to find out.

While everyone else in the wrestling world is talking about SummerSlam, Brad finally convinced his wife to sit down and talk about her experience at AEW Redemption in Montreal last Sunday night.

She may not know the names of most of the wrestlers—or even entirely understand why they’re fighting—but that doesn’t stop her from having some strong opinions.

We discuss the characters who caught her attention, the parts of the show she enjoyed and what AEW could do differently to attract more casual viewers and a larger female audience.

Along the way, she delivers some surprisingly thoughtful criticism, several hot takes and more than a few good jokes at the expense of wrestlers she can only identify by their outfits, hair and general vibes.

Forget the star ratings. This is the AEW review that actually matters.

SmackDown was taped on Tuesday. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got married tonight, so WWE gave everyone the night off.

With a taped SmackDown, Brad and Greg could watch this at 1.5x (as God intended) and it really wasn’t a bad show.

The highlights were a fun Lucha Match and some back stage segments involving R-Truth and company, as well as Danhausen and Matt Ryder.

It wasn’t all fireworks on this July 3rd special, we got a couple of matches that really didn’t hit the spot.

SmackDaddies will be on hiatus until August. You may get an occasional podcast from us, but we’re taking a break due to family/work commitments. Enjoy your summer.

Alleluia, the two hour SmackDown era has returned. We’re across the pond this week, on a show taped on Tuesday but making you believe it’s Friday.

This show was overall pretty fun. The Danhausen and his Legion of Danhausen, the introduction of “Matt Ryder”, Blake Monroe’s debut, Paige and Nathan Frazer wrestling at home.

The MFTs are done. We highlight a new person on Bloodline Be-Gone. And we prepare you for Night(Afternoon) of Champions.

WWE has made it back to North America (unfortunately), and we’re back to the same old garbage.

If you want to see outside interference (repeatedly), boy do we have the show for you.

Tho, even Greg will admit he enjoyed most of the show (at 1.5x speed), we’re now edging towards the creative vacuum that was WWE in years gone by.

Greg debuts a new segment.

The SmackDaddies doing the second best thing you can do in the afternoon, watching SmackDown.

It’s always great when these shows are done by suppertime.

It wasn’t that bad. Seriously, it really wasn’t.

And yes, we grade these on a curve.
