Spooky Chicks & Horror Flicks

Emma and Ally are setting up cameras around the house to figure out what’s going bump in the night, because this week on Spooky Chicks and Horror Flicks, the hosts recap and review Paranormal Activity (2007)

The found-footage phenomenon that proved you don’t need a massive budget, a script, or fancy cameras to make a horror hit.

Written and directed by Oren Peli and starring Katie Featherston and Micah Sloat, the film follows a young couple who begin documenting increasingly disturbing paranormal activity in their home. As the nights get progressively worse, Micah decides the best course of action is to keep filming, provoke the entity, and generally do everything you would not want your boyfriend doing during a demonic haunting.
