Stroud Out Loud

Content. Such a broad word in this digital age. We all deliver content in various ways, but being deliberate with one's platform is tough. I would say "just ask my friend Banks," but I already did in this week's episode. Listen to us talk about the challenges that face a Newtuber (a term I just made up for a new Youtuber), how they relate to starting the best new podcast, and some tips for how you could throw your hat in the virtual ring.

Boo! hahaha, scared you! Get ready for the end of spooky season by listening to Luke and his dad talk about style and different costumes that they've seen. We also talk about Make Believe Day, which is very close to another holiday and shares some coincidental themes, but is not associated with said occasion. There's also another hint at Kazooologist lore for long time StefFANs!

Follow @StroudOutloudPod on Instragram and tell me about your favorite outfit for a chance at a #Stroudout.

This week I spoke with my buddy Jayce about football! We talked about different types of plays, what it takes to be a good football player, and how to help teammates who are struggling. Then, we talk about various other sports and how one physical activity can (but sometimes doesn't) help with another activity. Follow @StroudOutLoudPod on Instrgram and tell me your favorite sports!

Are you excited about a new episode of Stroud Out Loud but tired of those lovely, engaging, and entertaining guests? Well I have just the thing for you! Welcome to the Stroud Solo Series, where I talk about various topics all by myself! This week I yap about advocacy, both for oneself and for the community. Take the time to listen to how to can use and amplify your voice for yourself and others. Also, follow @StroudOutLoudPod on Instagram, please!

Four Square! It feels like you either know everything about it or you forgot it existed. I was in the second camp, but students Garrett and Oliver arrived to educate me on the mechanics, politics, and benefits of Four Square. If you're looking for a low impact, high intensity activity to play with friends, you might want to look into finding four squares within a bigger square and study up on the rules! Want to learn a little about the history of hip hop and poetry? How about some tip and tricks about how to get started in music? This week you get that and a hint at some Stroud lore as I talk to Mr. Chambers about what one should do if one should find themselves with an abundance of bandwidth other than making a sandwich.

Today we discuss sass in class and how one navigates sarcasm and roast culture with others. How would you rate your sass level? Are you a big time roaster? How do you handle it when someone feels you took a joke too far? Enjoy this conversation, feel free to leave a comment, and bask in the top notch foley work as a school day happens around us!

Welcome to Stroud Out Loud! Before we get rolling, I wanted to give some insight into myself and how this podcast will work. Thank you for listening and I hope you stick around!
