The boys play. We do everything else.

Welcome to Team Moms, the podcast made by real baseball team moms, for baseball moms.

Each week, we break down and react to Team Moms: Baseball on Paramount+, then compare what happens on reality TV to what REALLY happens at the ballpark.

From team politics and coaches to playing time, tryouts, tournaments, travel weekends, group chats, friendships, rivalries, sideline drama, and those parents in the stands, nothing about the youth baseball lifestyle is off limits.

Because youth baseball isn’t just a sport. It’s early mornings, late nights, folding chairs, coolers, hotel weekends, endless schedules, big wins, tough losses, and a whole lot happening behind the scenes.

We’ve lived it, we’ve seen it, and now we’re talking about it.

Grab your coffee, or your tournament weekend cocktail, pull up your folding chair, and join us for Team Moms.

The boys play. We do everything else.

  2. Daddy Ball’s Mark Paul Tells the Truth About Travel Baseball

    Season 1, Episode 5

    Show notes

Maria, Melissa, and Westerly are back with a big first for Team Moms Podcast, their first guest.

Before the interview, the moms break down their kids' last two games, rate baseball fields and parks, and somehow end up discussing strip club birthday ideas. Just another completely normal conversation on Team Moms.

Then Mark Paul from Daddy Ball joins the show to talk about the crazy world of travel baseball. Mark gets into baseball moms and dads, over-the-top parents, questionable umpire calls, when travel teams start falling apart, kids with baseball Instagram accounts, and why parents sometimes care way more about the game than their kids do.

Mark also shares how Daddy Ball started, getting fired after his videos took off, turning baseball comedy into a career, building MP3 Baseball, and his take on Team Moms: Baseball and whether the reality show actually represents travel baseball.

  6. Is Team Moms: Baseball Anything Like Real Travel Baseball?

    Season 1, Episode 1

    Show notes

Team Moms: Baseball is officially here, and Maria, Melissa, and Westerly have some thoughts.

In the first episode of Team Moms Podcast, the moms break down Episodes 1 and 2 of the Paramount+ reality series Team Moms: Baseball and compare what they're seeing on TV to what actually happens in their own world as travel baseball moms.

Who are they loving so far? Who are they still trying to figure out? And is the drama on TV anything like the drama they've experienced at the ballpark?

They get into Nina, the "hot mom" conversation, the controversy surrounding a comment made to one of the players, parents getting involved in team drama, coaches, playing up, team friendships, sideline behavior, and whether the reality show is giving an accurate picture of travel baseball culture.

Then things get personal as the moms share some of their own stories from the stands, including getting a little too invested in games, getting ejected, surviving the move to kid pitch, and the never-ending question of how seriously parents should take youth baseball.

They also tackle a question that's becoming increasingly common in youth sports: Should young athletes have their own social media accounts?

    This is only the beginning.

Watch along with Maria, Melissa, and Westerly as they break down Team Moms: Baseball, talk about their own travel-ball lives, and eventually take on plenty of other shows, movies, and whatever else they have something to say about.
