  2. Redemption — A Monologue

    Episode 2

    Show notes

That Love Podcast presents: Redemption — A Monologue

Format/Genre: A searing audio drama monologue about trauma, revenge, and the radical choice to heal through love instead of violence.

Logline: A man scarred by a lifetime of loss stands at the precipice of vengeance, only to discover that true redemption comes not from retribution, but from becoming better than his pain.

Episode Summary: He's waited for this moment his entire life. Abandoned through foster homes, beaten down by those meant to protect him, robbed of everyone he loved—he carries a Glock and a singular purpose: to find the man responsible and end him. As he walks toward his target in the snow, his redemption finally within reach, two children race out of the house. In that instant, everything shifts. Watching a father console his injured daughter, he sees the truth he's been running from: vengeance will only hollow him further, trap him in a cell, waste what's left of his life. This is the story of a man choosing an entirely different kind of redemption—one built on love, rebuilding, and becoming the person his broken past tried to destroy.

  3. It's Over, Darling — A Monologue

    Episode 3

    Show notes

That Love Podcast presents: It's Over, Darling — A Monologue

Format/Genre: A tender audio drama monologue about the grace found in knowing when to let go.

Logline: A woman tells her partner a difficult truth: she's found someone who makes her whole, but more importantly—she's finally seen the love your partner has been hiding, and it's time to set you both free.

Episode Summary: Two people have built a life together, but something has always been missing. In this intimate, heartbreaking conversation, one partner gently dismantles the myth of their relationship—not with cruelty, but with profound compassion. She's noticed what they both knew but never said aloud: the way their partner's eyes light up when talking to someone else, the tenderness in a touch that was never meant for her. Instead of clinging to what's comfortable, she chooses a radical act of love—she releases them both. In doing so, she offers them both permission to become who they've always been meant to be, like caterpillars emerging from their cocoons as butterflies. This is a story about maturity, recognition, and the quiet bravery it takes to say goodbye when you love someone enough to let them fly.

  4. I Cannot Rise — A Monologue

    Episode 4

    Show notes

That Love Podcast presents: I Cannot Rise — A Monologue

Format/Genre: A transcendent audio drama monologue about shame, redemption, and the transformative power of unconditional love.

Logline: A broken man drowning in his own failures hears a voice calling him to rise—and discovers that grace isn't something you earn; it's something you receive.

Episode Summary: A son sits in his despair, convinced he is too damaged to be saved. His father's voice echoes through the darkness, simple and unwavering: rise. But the son cannot. He lists his transgressions like stones in his pockets—the people he's harmed, the love he's squandered, the unworthiness that defines him. Over and over, his father calls. Rise. And in that persistent, patient love, something shifts. Against all logic, against every voice telling him he doesn't deserve redemption, the son begins to lift. As he rises, his father's face becomes visible—luminous, beaming, wholly unconditional. In that moment, all shame dissolves. He is met not with judgment, but with pure, radiant acceptance. This is a story about the courage it takes to believe you're worth saving, and the transformative magic that happens when someone loves you exactly as you are.

  1. The Substitute — A Satirical Monologue Bonus

    Episode 5

    Show notes

That Love Podcast presents: The Substitute — A Satirical Monologue

Format/Genre: A razor-sharp satirical audio drama monologue where a stand-in speaker hijacks a political rant and turns it into something far more honest — and far more entertaining.

Logline: When the writer is too much of a coward to deliver his own politically charged words, his reluctant substitute Josh Matthews steps up to the mic — and promptly goes completely off script.

Episode Summary: Josh Matthews didn't ask for this. He's just the substitute — brought in to read another man's incendiary words because the actual writer couldn't face the crowd himself. But Josh has opinions of his own, and somewhere between the scripted outrage and the unfiltered commentary, something unexpectedly real begins to emerge. He roasts the writer, challenges the audience, and cuts through the noise with the kind of blunt honesty that only someone with nothing to lose can deliver. What starts as a political monologue becomes something far more compelling — a meditation on accountability, cowardice, and the desperate need for a country to simply do better. The Substitute came to read someone else's words. He ends up saying something entirely his own.

  2. Your Reward — A Monologue

    Episode 6

    Show notes

That Love Podcast presents: Your Reward — A Monologue

Format/Genre: A breathtaking audio drama monologue — a father's voice from beyond, delivering the wedding day blessing his child always deserved.

Logline: On the most important day of his child's life, a father who has already passed speaks one final time — to say the words he never got to say in person, and to send his child forward with his whole heart.

Episode Summary: The wedding is about to begin. And somewhere between this world and the next, a father finds his voice. He remembers everything — the battles, the tears, the little monster who broke his heart and filled it back up again a hundred times over. He remembers the rodents who tried to stop his child from rising, and the decades he and his beloved spent imagining who their child could become. Now, standing at the threshold of this sacred moment, he sees it all clearly — the peace, the fulfillment, the love his child has finally found. He cannot hug them. He cannot walk beside them. But he can speak. And what he says is everything a child needs to carry into forever — that he is proud, that he has always been proud, and that his blessing goes with them every single step of the way.

  1. Your Anti-Hero - Episode One

    Episode 1

    Show notes

That Love Podcast presents: Your Anti-Hero — Episode One

Format/Genre: A visceral, genre-defying audio drama that launches an explosive superhero origin story — raw, unfiltered, and unlike anything else in podcast fiction.

Logline: On his eighteenth birthday, a young man forged by grief, rage, and the murder of everything he loved declares war on the world that took his mother — and dares you to try and stop him.

Episode Summary: He was once a happy boy. A mother in flowery dresses who baked and read bedtime stories and kissed away every pain. Then she was gone — killed by enemies who threw her body on the street like she meant nothing. She meant everything. In the years that followed, the boy became something else entirely — something the world created and now has to reckon with. By fourteen his anger was alive and consuming. By eighteen it has a name, a purpose, and a plan. This is the origin story of an anti-hero who refuses to be romanticised, sanitised, or silenced — a young man who lost his whole world and decided the only thing left worth living for is making sure everyone responsible pays in full. Your Anti-Hero begins here. Consider yourself warned.

  2. Your Anti-Hero - Episode Two

    Episode 2

    Show notes

That Love Podcast presents: Your Anti-Hero — Episode Two, Season One

Format/Genre: A pulse-pounding audio drama where our anti-hero's eighteenth birthday doubles as the first move in a deadly game of revenge, corruption, and survival.

Logline: On the four-year anniversary of his mother's murder, Chad is kidnapped, blackmailed into fifty kills, and handed the name of his first victim — and he doesn't hesitate for a single second.

Episode Summary: The birthday cake is barely cold when Chad's world explodes. After smashing his sister Emojin's celebration into chaos and making his exit, two bulky figures drag him into a van before he can reach the street. Inside, a masked figure with an apple and an offer: fifty jobs for a criminal organization, in exchange for the man who murdered his mother. Chad doesn't flinch. He doesn't beg. He negotiates. The man across from him has leverage — footage of his mother's killer, and a very real threat against his sisters — but Chad has something the masked man didn't count on: a complete absence of fear. The deal is struck. The van door opens. A text arrives with a photo and a name. Chris Overton. And just like that, the anti-hero's story stops being a promise and becomes something terrifyingly real.

    Episode 3

    Show notes

That Love Podcast presents: Your Anti-Hero — Episode Three, Season One

Format/Genre: A darkly compelling audio drama where justice and vengeance blur into something far more complicated — and our anti-hero takes his first real step into the world he's chosen.

Logline: Chad Wicker has a name, a file, and a target — but when he discovers that Chris Overton's wife and daughter bear the bruises of a monster, this stops being a job and becomes something far more personal.

Episode Summary: It's Christmas Day, and Chad Wicker has his first assignment. Chris Overton — ex-soldier, charity worker, churchgoer, wife beater — is a man full of contradictions, and Chad spends the day peeling back every layer. The research is methodical, the preparation cold and precise, but what Chad finds ignites something beyond the mission: a five-year-old quadriplegic daughter, a wife with her head bowed in shame, and a man who put them both in hospital on Chad's own eighteenth birthday. By the time Chris Overton walks through his front door whistling, Chad is already waiting in the dark. What follows isn't the kill Chad planned — it's something more considered, more devastating, and arguably more just. Chris Overton will never hurt his family again. And Chad Wicker has forty-nine jobs left to go.

That Love Podcast presents: Your Anti-Hero — Episode Four, Season One

Format/Genre: A breathless audio drama where our anti-hero's moral compass collides head-on with his mission — and the line between villain and vigilante gets deliciously complicated.

Logline: Chad Wicker is sent to silence a man investigating charity fraud — but when the target turns out to be one of the few genuinely good people left in this rotten world, Chad's carefully constructed code of evil starts to crack.

Episode Summary: The assignment is straightforward: deliver a message to Xavier Lombard, COO of the Henchrow organization, and make him stop his investigation. The problem is that Xavier is investigating embezzlement from a children's cancer charity — and Chad, for all his menace, has a heart he can't quite kill. He flips a coin. Xavier lives. But the mission still needs completing, and what follows is a gloriously chaotic chase through an office building that ends with two men bleeding, a window shattered, and Chad gliding across a wire into the night sky with a grin on his face. Then comes the email. Xavier's organization wasn't protecting the charity — they were stealing from it. Chad Wicker made the wrong call. And now he's coming back to finish what he started.
