That’s God

Religion, Religion & Spirituality

Welcome to That’s God — I’m your host, Summer!!

I’m just a girl in my 20s who LOVES Jesus and is passionate about helping others see God at work in their everyday lives. On this podcast, I'll be opening up about my own experiences, diving into topics that matter, exploring questions about faith, and sitting down with incredible guests to hear their powerful testimonies of God's faithfulness.

When I'm not recording, you can usually find me working out, playing softball, reading a good book, or trying out a new recipe in the kitchen. My goal is to create a space that feels welcoming, encouraging, and centered on Jesus. Whether you're questioning, growing, or already walking strong in your faith, I'm so glad you're here. My prayer is that every episode points you closer to Christ and reminds you that God is always at work—even when we don't see it.

  3. Atavya Fowler's Testimony

    Season 2

    Show notes

This Tuesday, we’re sitting down with the beautiful and joy-filled Atavya Fowler! Originally from the Bahamas, Atavya is a talented softball player, a close friend, and truly a radiant ball of joy who lights up every room she walks into. Behind that joy is a testimony of wrestling with spiritual warfare, identity, and the things that can quietly take God’s place in our lives.

In this episode, Atavya vulnerably shares about the spiritual battles she faced, the struggle to surrender the things she had placed above God, and the journey of discovering who she truly is in Him.

Her story is a beautiful reminder that God meets us in the middle of our battles, gently calls us back to Himself, and reminds us that our identity is found in Him — not in what we do, what we accomplish, or what the world says about us.

Come listen to Atavya’s story, laugh with us, and be encouraged by the faithfulness of a God.

WARNING: Due to mic issues the levels of this episode vary from quiet to loud often. I am so sorry for this issue but thank you for your patience and I hope you enjoy the episode.
