**Topic 1: Who's Who — Rappers vs Wrestlers**

The comparison game. Take a rapper and match them to their wrestling equivalent — or a wrestler to their rap equivalent — and defend the pick. Career arcs, personas, longevity, influence, style, controversies: whatever the criteria, the fun is in the argument. The segment lives in the disagreements, so the setup is the format, not a verdict — who's the Jay-Z of wrestling, who's the Undertaker of rap, and why.

**Topic 2: Debuts and Rebrands**

What's actually new versus what's just a new coat of paint. When a wrestler shows up somewhere new, is that a reinvention or a relocation? When does a gimmick change count as a real rebrand, and when is it the same person with a new logo? Plus the farewell tour as its own kind of rebrand — when a career's final chapter becomes the story itself.

**Topic 3: Grooming in the Wrestling Industry**

The serious one, and the one that can't be a bit. The indies run on trust — young trainees under veterans and promoters who control their bookings and their shot, with no HR, no background checks, no safeguarding structure. The conversation: what safeguarding should actually look like on the indies, what accountability means when there's no company to fire anyone, and what fans, promoters, and wrestlers do when the industry won't police itself.

Is WWE ID genuinely creating meaningful opportunities for independent wrestlers, or is the program offering exposure without a clear pathway to a WWE career?

TOPIC 2 — DOES OBA FEMI NEED PAUL HEYMAN?

Would aligning Oba Femi with Paul Heyman elevate him into WWE’s next major superstar, or would it take away from the natural presence and individuality that make Oba special?

TOPIC 3 — DID AEW’S CLOCKWORK CARNAGE DELIVER OR WAS IT TOO COMPLICATED?

Did AEW’s new Clockwork Carnage match bring much-needed creativity and excitement to world championship wrestling, or did its complicated rules and scoring system take away from the storytelling and significance of the championship?

TOPIC 1 — BRYAN DANIELSON WRESTLED AGAIN: SHOULD HE STAY RETIRED?

Debate Question: Should AEW use Bryan Danielson for occasional special matches now that he’s stepped back into the ring—or should the PAC tribute remain a one-time exception?

TOPIC 2 — DOES WRESTLING NEED MORE NEW MATCH TYPES?

Debate Question: Do new stipulations like AEW’s Clockwork Carnage keep wrestling fresh—or have match concepts become so complicated that they start getting in the way of the story?

TOPIC 3 — CAN INDIE WRESTLING STILL SELL PPV IN 2026?

Debate Question: With fans already getting huge amounts of wrestling through streaming, can a promotion like MLW still make traditional PPV feel worth paying extra for?

TOPIC 1 — SHOULD MITB STILL CREATE NEW STARS?

Should WWE use Money in the Bank to elevate somebody new—or give the briefcase to the established star who can make it feel biggest?

TOPIC 2 — DID AEW FAIL TO BUILD ITS NEXT TAG-TEAM GENERATION?

Are the Young Bucks still champions because they’re still the best choice—or because AEW hasn’t created enough teams to replace them?

TOPIC 3 — SHOULD PROMOTIONS PROTECT WRESTLERS FROM COMING BACK TOO SOON?

After Mustafa Ali returned quickly from a punctured lung and fractured ribs, is medical clearance enough—or should promotions sometimes protect wrestlers from their own toughness?

Tonight on The 3 Count Podcast Presents: Chaz & Friends, we're tackling three debates across WWE and AEW!

TOPIC 1 — WWE vs. AEW

Does AEW surviving WWE counterprogramming prove it has established a loyal audience that WWE can't take away? Or does counterprogramming still threaten AEW's ability to grow?

TOPIC 2 — Roman Reigns

Is Roman Reigns truly one of WWE's all-time greats, or has WWE's historic investment in him inflated how fans evaluate his legacy?

How much should championship reigns, The Bloodline, WrestleMania main events, cultural impact, and longevity matter in the GOAT conversation?

TOPIC 3 — Mercedes Moné

Is Mercedes Moné the greatest women's wrestler of all time, or does her legacy still fall short of legends like Trish Stratus, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and other historic performers?

Are championships enough to define greatness, or should match quality, influence, longevity, and cultural impact carry more weight?

TOPIC 1 — WWE TITLE CHANGES

Does WWE Change Championships Too Often?

Has WWE gotten too comfortable using frequent title changes to create big moments, or does moving championships around keep the product unpredictable and prevent title reigns from becoming stale?

TOPIC 2 — LEON SLATER / OPTION C

Does TNA Have to Put the World Title on Leon Slater Now?

After invoking Option C, would losing at Bound For Glory hurt Leon Slater's momentum—or can simply competing for the TNA World Championship elevate him?

TOPIC 3 — WWE × AAA

Is WWE Helping AAA… or Absorbing It?

Is WWE giving AAA and lucha libre its biggest international platform yet—or is AAA slowly losing its identity inside WWE's ecosystem?

🔥 TOPIC 1 — DO WE APPLY MENTAL-HEALTH NUANCE EQUALLY?

Debate Question: When severe mental or neurological illness may have contributed to someone killing their family, should that change how we judge the person—or can understanding why something happened never lessen responsibility for what happened?

🔥 TOPIC 2 — NOW WHAT WITH WILL OSPREAY?

Debate Question: Should AEW commit to a long Will Ospreay championship reign, or does keeping Jon Moxley dangerous enough to realistically beat him make the AEW World Championship more compelling?

🔥 TOPIC 3 — DID WWE DISRESPECT THE NEW LEVEL?

Debate Question: Was WWE justified in asking Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed to take a massive pay cut based on their current value, or was asking two decorated veterans to take more than 50% less fundamentally disrespectful?

Topic 1: Did Sami Zayn make WWE’s title picture better—or undermine CM Punk’s championship reign?

Topic 2: If Will Ospreay loses to Kenny Omega at Wembley, can AEW still call him its future franchise player?

Topic 3 — Avery Styles at TNA Lockdown:

Is TNA smartly capitalizing on the Styles family legacy—or relying too heavily on nostalgia to generate interest in its current product?

TOPIC 1 — ZILLA FATU & THE BLOODLINE

Should WWE eventually connect Zilla Fatu to the Bloodline, or does he need to establish himself completely on his own first?

The deeper debate: Does the family connection give Zilla an automatic advantage, or could relying on it prevent him from developing his own identity?

TOPIC 2 — TOO MANY WWE TITLE CHANGES?

Is WWE’s recent wave of championship changes making the product exciting and unpredictable, or are constant title changes starting to devalue the championships?

The deeper debate: How long does a championship reign actually need to be to matter—and have fans become too accustomed to long reigns after the Roman/Gunther era?

TOPIC 3 — DOES AEW RELY TOO MUCH ON TOURNAMENTS?

Are tournaments one of AEW’s greatest strengths, or has AEW become too dependent on them as a way to create stories?

The deeper debate: AEW presents itself as the more sports-oriented wrestling company, so tournaments fit its identity—but does “who’s the better wrestler?” give you enough story to care about the match?

What makes a wrestling entrance truly GREAT? Is TNA getting creative or going way too far? And after Brock Lesnar, is Oba Femi ready for the World Championship picture?

On this episode of The 3 Count Podcast Presents: Chaz & Friends, we're tackling three debates guaranteed to split wrestling fans.

TOPIC 1 — Greatest Wrestling Entrance Ever

What is the greatest wrestling entrance of all time—and what actually makes an entrance legendary? Is it the theme song, presentation, crowd reaction, or the wrestler walking through the curtain?

TOPIC 2 — TNA's Leon Slater Stipulation

If Leon Slater loses, his historic 298-day X-Division Championship reign gets erased as if it never happened. Is this creative storytelling that makes the match feel important, or is rewriting your own history one of the wildest stipulations TNA has ever created?

TOPIC 3 — What's Next for Oba Femi?

After defeating Brock Lesnar in his final match, should WWE immediately launch Oba Femi into the World Championship picture? Or could pushing him that quickly actually hurt one of WWE's biggest prospects?

NOW IT'S YOUR TURN.

Greatest wrestling entrance EVER?

Creative or ridiculous: TNA's Leon Slater stipulation?

Should Oba Femi challenge for a World Championship NEXT?

🔥 Topic 2: Is WWE's counterprogramming of AEW simply smart business, or does it hurt the wrestling industry? Where do you draw the line between healthy competition and trying to undercut your rival?

🔥 Topic 3: Triple H recently revealed he passed on making Bron Breakker a Royal Rumble winner because he felt Bron wasn't ready. Was that the right decision, or did WWE miss an opportunity to create its next megastar?
