The Bonfire with Big Jay Oakerson and Robert Kelly

Bobby does a gig in New Jersey for a bunch of auto mechanics at a ballroom. The audience was filled with serious, hard working men that were hard to make laugh. It got so bad that Bob had to make a brown-nosing speech at the end. At the show, a woman in charge said that she interviewed Bobby 20 years ago. It was for a local New Jersey skin magazine and she gave Bob the article. Jay reads it on the air and Bobby comes off as a ham who is trying to sound famous.

An unknown journalist published a bracket of the best comedians to come out of Boston. Surely the great Robert Kelly would be on that list, right? The guys go through the brackets and chose the funny person they think should advance. Many in the ranking system are not even comedians and Bobby gets a little heated. There must be some acknowledgement of Bobby's contribution to Boston comedy. | Jay is excited for Philadelphia as LeBron James takes over the city before his first game with the 6ers.

Comedian Jermaine Fowler goes way back with Jay and Bob. Bobby used to bully him at the Comedy Cellar and now he's returned with a new movie Terrestrial which comes out in theaters tomorrow! The movie was filmed in Phil Spector's old mansion in L.A. There's not a lot of evidence of Phil left in the home except for one creepy room. | The guys haven't seen Jermaine in a while so they catch him up on all the cringe videos they've unearthed, including Keith Robinson's comedy gang and Big Jay early pandering stand-up.

Jacob gets heartbroken by a Playboy bunny at an expo in New Jersey. He tells a story of his first big gig for Playboy Radio and becomes forlorn when the host wasn't actually interested in him. Bob has a similar story about an adult star who stood him up. | Jacob is the only person in the room that is excited for Elon Musk's flying cars. Jay and Bobby take all the joy out of Jacob by explaining to him that the cars don't actually fly.

Jay and Christine remember a time in Smashing Pumpkins history when Billy Corgan had contempt for the audience and seemed to be rushing through songs just to get it over with. | Bob has an embarrassing moment that a 5 year-old-child might have. After he made an accident in his pants, he was in a full panic and called Jay for help. Jay did not help but this sparked a conversation on adults that wear diapers to concerts so they don't have to take a bathroom break. | Jay is excited for the new Baddies series with more fighting and bad behavior.

Shane Gillis cursed on live national television but is under fire for the content of his jokes. Social media is abuzz with outrage over his joke about women dressing like whores at the gym. Actor Dan Levy expounds aimlessly on Instagram about Shane's performance. Bob illustrates that female comedians have been making sexist jokes since the beginning of stand-up. | The guys analyze a clip of the funny noises that Shane made right after saying the F-word on Saturday Night Live.

It's a well known fact that Robert Kelly loves Kelly Clarkson. He defends her honor against the rest of The Bonfire because she made news for getting snubbed in a magic shop. Kelly wanted to purchase a bird off the wall and the employee said it was not for sale. Jay said she may have been entitled in this situation and not the victim as Bobby states. Bob has inside info that the store owners are less than savory people. | Jay once threw a man down some stairs who made the best meatloaf ever.

This "jerk shack" needs a toilet without plumbing and Bob is interested in the "Cinderella Toilet" which is just a poop incinerator. They take calls about this toilet and whether or not feces smells when you burn it.

Jay had gigs in Seattle this weekend and left town with a feeling that the zombie homeless were taking over. He was fed up with the amount of unhoused people that were begging for cigarettes from him. | For Bobby's birthday he headed up to his tiny house in New Hampshire to enjoy the fall. He was surprised to learn of the influx of Indians in the area who also love autumn in New England. | It's Bob and Dawn's 19th Anniversary and instead of buying her a gift, he just purchased many gadgets and a purse for himself. Bob did write her a lovely card which he read on the air. Subscribe to SiriusXM Podcasts+ to listen to new episodes of The Bonfire

Al promptly embarrasses him and sends him away sad. | Jay reveals that Christine makes disturbing sounds when she's at the height of pleasure. | Bob once dropped his new iphone in the ocean to see if it could swim.

Jay needed to eat so he settled for a disgusting street pretzel. He complains that more often than not, he receives poor service at eateries. Bobby has a Goodfellas attitude when dining that the staff responds to. They throw the topic of horrible food experiences out to the callers, and one camper had a bloody Band-Aid in her salad. Bobby once got assaulted by a waitress with a coffee mug.

Dane Cook released an exceptionally made documentary called "Funny Money" about his brother stealing millions from him. His brother Darryl goes on the run with the last 3 million and hides it in pasta jars in this fascinating saga. One thing is missing from the telling of Dane's life. Robert Kelly was present for many of these events, yet he's blurred out when his face appears on screen and Tourgasm is not even mentioned. | Joe DeRosa calls in spontaneously to talk about another real-life drama, the Sebastian/SiriusXM situation.
