The Career Escape 🎙️

If you’re looking for work, then LinkedIn can help you.

In this episode Charley and Tony discuss the solid reasons you need one, how to shift it towards career change, and how you can easily make the most of it whilst eating your lunch.

Has it been a while since you last applied for a job?

Well, a lot has changed recently. But the good news is there’s no reason to feel scared or lost out there.

In this episode Charley and Tony bring you up to speed with what’s changed in the job market, and what employers, AI and systems are looking for and doing in the hiring process.

After this episode you’ll be able to face escaping your career with an increased confidence that can only come with a true understanding what ATS actually means.

Like most things that have been around for a while – CVs have acquired a load of myths, most of which evaporate when held to the light.

In this episode Charley and Tony discuss the most common CV myths, and give their expert insight into which myths you’re likely to encounter, ones that you can completely ignore, and the ones that exist with good reason.

Overall, size does indeed still matter, apparently.

Tell me about yourself is possibly the question people dread the most at interview.

What do employers want to hear when they ask this? Should you prepare in advance? How long should this answer be? And is this the right time to mention your dog?

In this episode Charley and Tony give you a clear picture of what employers are looking for, how to prepare and respond to this question and what things to focus on. (spoiler alert – probably not the dog)
