The Magic Kings Podcast

The Great Big Beautiful Dads got their imagineering hats on as a follow-up to on of our favorite episodes from last year. Our plan was to go back and forth with imagineering ideas, but one of the great imagineering minds of our time, none other than Magic Mike, came in HOT with some unbelievable ideas. We had to dedicate a whole episode just to his creations!

Josh: get Mike on the payroll!

The Great Big Beautiful Dads get out the crystal ball and make some predictions about the future of Walt Disney World!

Magic Mike came through with a Disney World prediction market game. Each GBBD has $10K to bet on 15 predictions for what could be happening in the next 3, 5, 10, 15 years at Disney World. Who came out the winner?!

Special guest THE OTHER MIKE is back to recap his epic one-day trip to Magic Kingdom!

Mike teased the possibility of this trip we back on his first appearance way back on episode 23. And it finally came to fruition this past March!

We talk about banging out Magic Kingdom with a little one in one day, staying onsite, and meeting more characters than it seems possible to meet.

Mike is also a bit of a music aficionado, and he came prepared with his top 5 Disney songs of all time! Steve had some picks as well...and the results were, shall we say, interesting.

The Disney resorts on both coasts share many similar attractions. Space Mountain, Tiana's, the Tiki Room, and much more can be found in Florida and in California.

So we got the Disneyland gang back together to ask a simple question: among those things that both coasts have, which one is better?

Melanie and George join Steve and Mike to go through the many attractions at both Land and World and give their opinions on which place does it best!

We've been dancing around this episode for the entire history of this podcast. We finally did it. THE SKYLINER

The Disney Skyliner is the Great Big Beautiful Dads' (aka the Skyliner Squad's) favorite way to get around Walt Disney World. We talk about why we love it (as if we haven't done that on every episode already), what makes it the best transportation method in the bubble, and even give some ideas for a little Skyliner crawl! What can you do at each stop on the Skyliner? More like what CAN'T you do?!

Steve is joined by his cousin Jane (how many cousins does this guy have?) and her husband Andrew to talk about their first trip (as adults at least) to Disney World!

They had a whirlwind of a trip with their 14- and 11-year-old kids -- hitting all 4 parks, rope dropping every day, Broadway, Beverly -- and even a blizzard?!

Listen in to hear how Disney World hit with these first-timers...with a little help from a certain travel agent!
