Join Mani and Dana as they dive deep into the controversial The Swan documentary on Hulu, based on the show of the same title created by a woman on a mission to make ugly ducklings" more beautiful...with a team of plastic surgeons, dentists, and other critical eyes, Nely the creator sorts throw women who would be open to lot of transformations. They are faced with MANY twists and surprises --a few harmful--to determine groundbreaking television. They got it...by any means necessary. The two discuss the shocking transformations and the psychological impact on the participants by way of abusive show runners, manipulation, and some drastic medical trauma. Did the show truly empower these women, or was the creator out to make a bag? Where was the after care or thorough care of these women? So many mixed responses to transformations and even more traumatic events (nude photoshoot???), secrets and gotchas and a lot of botched unnecessary work--that did not age well. Key takeaways:

• The predatory nature of reality TV and its impact on self-esteem.
• Crimes of women against women
• The lack of aftercare and its consequences for the participants.
• The ethical implications of plastic surgery in the pursuit of beauty.
• Personal stories from the women involved and their reflections on the experience.
• Sketchy (Criminal?) things done to these girls to get the shot

Speaking of those RHONY girls, Hailey and Erin are going at it, Daisy is bothered by her own ceilings, and Erika is ready to trade it in for her island. Another Martha siting has us laughing and calculating how much say over Daisy's life and how much pull Martha has! All that and more in the Mix in the Box!

True Crime Obsessed's Gillian Pensavalle is back in the Mix to talk about three of the most notorious women in true crime this year. Netflix released three documentaries this year with women criminals with wild abandon for morals.
The Crash, Maternal Instinct, and A Toxic Love Story all on Netflix and all boast a woman whose level of delusion and entitlement go beyond expectation. What is psychopathy what is mental illness and what is just being an entitled self centered brat?

Plus, There's some housewives qualities that mirror true crime behavior just begging for a documentary to be made about them in later years. RHOC scam moments come up, some RHONY and RHUGT mentions, and Mani catches Gillian up on the Kim Zolciack cringe case of the year in Atlanta. All that and more in the Mix with Mani and GP!

Plus a shout out to the first filler episode of RHUGT season 5 and the good times that really call for another season with this cast to us...Anyone else? All that and more in The Mix!

Then that atlanta party on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip is something to see! Nene is in the building again and so are many others--some we see some we don't! Wherever Barlow goes, RHOSLC ladies seem to find her to fuss at her for something. And VICKI is UNCOMFORTABLE?!? Speaking of, Mark and Mani check In on Real Housewives of Orange County and all the many things we are concerned about with what we're seeing. What is redeemable about it right now? Who is there to root for? Will we see the wrath of Tamra at the reunion or someone else?
