The One Minute Mile
The One-Minute Mile is a comedy panel game where each panelist is given a random subject on which to speak for a minute—but without hesitation, deviation, or repetition. It’s not easy, but you can have a lot of fun trying, as our panelists prove every week!
Based on the BBC panel game Just a Minute®, this podcast is an homage to that wonderful program, its creator Ian Messiter, its longtime chair Nicholas Parsons, and the talented team that carries on that glorious tradition.
None of the participants in The One-Minute Mile speak in any official capacity. All opinions expressed are their own.
We always strive to be 100% fact-free.

#3: The Chip On My Shoulder
Episode 3
Show notes
When panelist Espen Målbakken starts off his description of “The Chip on My Shoulder” by placing an actual chip on his shoulder, you know you’re dealing with a seasoned radio professional. James Curry, Doug Stolhand, and George Still are equally salty and delicious.
Prasenjit Gupta returns as chair and remains as wooden as ever. -

#2: Bean Counters
Season 1, Episode 2
Show notes
Panelists Espen Målbakken, Prasenjit Gupta, Charles Berman, and James Aydemir try to complete the one-minute mile in a feast of reason and flow of soul. At least that’s what they’d like to think.

#1: The One-Year Anniversary
Season 1, Episode 1
Show notes
James Curry starts off talking about “The One-Year Anniversary”—but how long can he go before Charles Berman, Espen Målbakken, or James Aydemir stop him? It’s madness all around.
Prasenjit Gupta is the chair and turns in a fine performance as a piece of furniture.
