Chris Ballard is out after a 26-20 home loss to a winless Titans team dropped the Colts to 2-4. Daniel Jones is completing under 60 percent of his passes, no Colts receiver is averaging 50 yards a game, and Jonathan Taylor is carrying the offense. In New York, J.J. McCarthy threw for 243 yards in a single quarter against New Orleans and is in line to start against Houston.

The Chargers are 0-6 and the Rams lost Davante Adams to a ruptured hamstring for six to 10 weeks on top of a pile of other injuries. The crew works through who inherits targets in both cities.
